Pros: When we booked we didn’t realize it was in an apartment. We were a bit apprehensive. We shouldn’t have worried. The room was beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. We were offered a hairdryer if we needed it.The bed was very very comfortable. The only thing is,it’s on the 3rd floor,It made no difference to us (and the owner came down and offered to carry our bags up.) It couldn’t be situated in a better place. The road is in a pedestrianized area called the Laurels. It has lots of bars with fantastic tapas. We had a lovely time.

Pros: This was a very modern, clean hostel right in the center of Logroño, just 2 minutes from the Cathedral. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: This is a minor point, but the vibe was mostly people doing the Camino, and everyone was in bed by 10 pm. So, not super fun haha

Pros: It is located right in the center but on a quiet street. My dorm (female for 6)was at the end of the corridor, super silent. I will for sure recommend it!

Pros: From the time we arrived, the staff were very efficient and welcoming. Maria helped us with information on where to eat and also for the next day, a self driving tour of the surrounding wine region with historical places to visit. Very professional. Went out of her way to solve some other problems we had with a smile. This is a very well designed, decorated and managed hotel. We ended up staying another night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay the best possible, very knowledgeable in the entire area.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect - just a short 5 minute walk from the main square where the cathedral is, and very close to Calle Laurel too. The rooms were comfortable and the personnel was very attentive.
Cons: The only improvements/suggestions are that they need a full length mirror in the room. Also, they could refill their complimentary lemon water in the lobby more often. It was full in the morning, but never refilled.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a very nice and updated room.
Cons: No massage services were available even though they advertise a spa.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, reasonable price, decently sized bathroom, private parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, the room spacious, great shower and bed. Very comfortable. Staff interaction was great. The receptionist Soraya made check in easy and helped with many tasks over 3 days. Great recommendations for wine tours and helped secure English speaking tours through several phone calls. She went above and beyond and we are grateful!
Cons: The F&B was minimal. No coffee option that wasn’t part of the 15e buffet. Security seemed lax.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bets were comfortable, the area was quiet and accessible to the town.
Cons: Parking. They ran out of spaces and there was no private parking left on the street. We had to pay for parking and had a 7 minute walk back to the hotel. That being said, we were able to pull our car up in front of the hotel to load and unload so it wasn’t too inconvenient.

Pros: The staff was very accommodating, personable, and sought to help our individual needs - and we watched them take care of other guests in a similar way. Very high energy feeling about the place... YES it is an amazing location inside the city walls, and on the main square... but the owner and staff make all the best of that!
Cons: I really didn't have anything I didn't like!

Cons: no parking at property, unload closely but parking was a fair walk the first day. room may have been a bit damp or dusty- my allergies acted up.(old building)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel! Amazing rooms! Right in the centre of a beautiful old village. Very friendly staff. Free drink in the hotel’s caves was a nice touch. Great location - Easy to visit nearby vineyards by walking.
Cons: There didn’t seem to be many food options in the village. Times on Google didn’t always reflect the reality. We did the spa circuit in the hotel - this was possibly overpriced for what it was. It would have been a nice touch to include this as a free activity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful, centrally located, historic building with a cool cave bar. And inexpensive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very congenial.
Cons: Interior room w/no windows. Rather expensive for what we got. Wifi was very weak and would not show on several of our devices.

Pros: Beautiful rooms, comfy bed, great shower, clean, friendly helpful staff & great breakfast & dinner. Just a fabulous place to stay & relax. The town is a beautiful medieval maze of cobbled streets. No cars so really peaceful but you can park very close.
Cons: Steam room needed to be hotter but nice hot tub which was an extra.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely, bed very comfortable. Would have liked a room with a bathtub though. Shower, robe and products were all great.
Cons: Breakfast pastries were mostly store bought with one homemade cake. The others were uninteresting and too sweet. We had a room which opened internally so there was no way to have fresh air in our room

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. The price was very good too. Fitted nicely into our Camino budget.
Cons: The rooms that face onto the street do pick up quite a bit of street noise. It didn't impact too much on us as we were there on a Sunday & Monday night in late October. But it could be an issue on a summer's weekend.

Cons: Pillow too soft, extra pillows too hard. Door locks not good, when opening/ closing hard and loud, guests disturb each other. Door locks quality bad.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: location next to vineyard, wonderful view, size of the room, free soft drinks in the fridge, nice bathroom
Cons: too long tasting dinner (too long breaks between dishes - we were waiting around 20 minutes for a dessert)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was very beautiful and the free tour through the winery was interesting. Our room was spacious and the view was breathtaking. And the breakfast was delicious and the view outside of the window was lovely.
Cons: Although the view and the location was perfect the room wasn't worth the money. For that money you can stay in much nicer places (but probably without the view). Amd the food at the dinner in the restaurant wasn't good, nothing was freshly prepared and it was too expensive.

Pros: This was the most gorgeous property! We were blown away. Our room was phenomenal with the most gorgeous view of the vineyards right out our window. The free breakfast was incredible. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great attention to detail. Beautifully manicured and maintained. Creative and thoughtful layout. Excellent cellar tour . Very beautiful site
Cons: Nothing, except perhaps the ubiquity of canned music . Location is amongst vineyards some distance from towns
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I almost didn't book this hotel because it is listed with only 1 star. Luckily we did and in our opinion it should get 4 stars. Beautiful surroundings, interesting rooms with elevator overlooking the wine cellars. large terrace overlooking the vineyards. Super clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds, great shower. The breakfast was lovely with all you need as well as late service, until 11:00. The complementary wine tour with wine tasting was very interesting and enjoyable. We chose a perfect time to visit, which was in the middle of the harvest which also heightened our nice experience.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Service, rooms, food and the overall experience was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is heaven on earth, it’s stunning, the food is delicious, the wine is good, wine cellar and the tunnels with the niches are spectacular. Will definitely be coming back.
Cons: The only thing missing in this hotel is sauna and jacuzzi facilities. Other than that, it’s 5* in my opinion

Cons: We could only afford to stay one night!

7.0 Good
Pros: This was a great little find on our Spanish road-trip. We had booked in advance and unknown to us, this hotel is near one of the Camino pilgrimage routes and was sold out upon arrival. We were personally looking for a place on our way to the wine festival in Logrono. Mues is a tiny village and Latorrién de Ane was a nice break before the upcoming Riojas-madness :)

Pros: Old country house with character, superb service, and the fact that they happily pick up tired pilgrims in Los Arcos and drop them back the next morning.

Pros: The breakfast was very good, which is important to me. It was a buffet and there was a lot of choice, with fresh fruit like water melon and pineapple. I love tortilla for breakfast and there was cheese (I don't eat meat) and a good selection of bread and pastries. I also like a coffee machine so you can get your own without having to ask. My daughter liked the availability of almond milk. The beds were very comfortable, the room was just right with a very nice bathroom. The hotel is right on the edge of the old town so very easy to walk to and a few minutes from the tourist office. I was very happy. Pros: The staff were exceptional; kind, informative and multilingual. The hotel itself is beautiful with really comfortable beds and air conditioning. Breakfast was good. Good parking on site. The winery tour is not to be missed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great and very nice bodega hotel. Private parking, convenient check-in, friendly staff. Large and clean room with access to a small terrace. Nice and quiet place. It is especially worth noting about the excursion to the production and tasting of local wine, which is offered as a compliment to all guests. Typically, such an excursion for tourists costs from 16 to 22 euros in Rioja. Therefore, this is a very valuable gift for any guest. Even for this I can give the hotel an excellent rating. Otherwise, the service was also excellent.
Cons: Unfortunately, breakfast is not included. Room equipment requires a little renovation. The nearest city is about 15 minutes by car. Nevertheless, I can safely recommend this hotel

Pros: Good continental breakfast, freindly service.

Pros: The perfect place to stay for any wine lovers. Very comfortable spacious room with the balcony. Sparkly clean. All people at the reception are warm and helpful. I had a very interesting cellar tour followed by the great young lady. Hope be there again.

Cons: The room is small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very nice and clean apartment in the city center. We couldn’t ask for more after all day walking. It was pleasant experience and our host was very nice and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I’m so happy that I stayed here. Firstly, the service was amazing when it came to check-in, and letting me know my room was ready early. I really appreciated that. Fantastic location. Perfectly clean. Very comfortable. My room looked nice and helped me relax after a long day. And on top of all that I had a great night’s sleep. On one of the main streets in the old city, and I didn’t hear a sound from my room. It was like being in the countryside.
7.5 Good
Cons: The room was so noisy it's impossible to sleep from the noise from the night club and bars. Great I guess if you come to party. Cute room though and it was clean
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The price was great for the location. This lodging is in the heart of the city among dozens of tapas/pinchos bars/restaurants and close access to historical attractions. The A/C worked great, the bathroom was very clean and very modern.
Cons: The room (Individual) was tiny, even for 1 person. It's the smallest one in which I have ever stayed while travelling. One could become claustrophobic if staying inside the room for too long of periods. It's not bad if just sleeping there. The bed was comfortable if sleeping in the center but soft at the edge. The light switches positioned near the headboard were frustrating because they were too easy to accidentally push and turn lights on/off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Restaurants and bars up and down the street. Great food and wine. Very cozy room. Would stay again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location! friendly accommodative staff! Pleasant staying for the value. We stayed for two nights and ventured around the area, taking tours in different wineries. Amazing view from our balcony on a local church. Cross the road, go uphill for 5 min and you have a beautiful view of Marques De Riscal hotel by Frank Ghery. Valdelana's staff accommodated us by allowing to visit Valdelana's wine cellar ( a tour) after our check-out time, at 4:00pm, with English guide (tour at 11:00 is in Spanish). Like the tour and wine testing... Spanish Tortilla and coffee in the morning was great! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to explore Elciego town besides some 30min walk in the morning, but 10 min drive away LaGuardia was amazing, no crowd, good food and Fabulista wine cellar! Highly recommend Agroturismo Valdelana!
Cons: it was somewhat noisy, since it was busy time of the year - grapes harvest. However, all passing traffic was during the day, so evening/night time was relatively quite. We were always so tied from wine drinking, walking and overall excitement, so noise didn't bother us at all. But for more sensitive people, could be an issue, so decided to comment on it.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Friendly staff speaking English The common place with kitchen facilities and books
Cons: The worst hotel of all our trip to Basque Country. The standard room is 14 sq m - too small and cluttered with not ergonomic furniture. There is no space for the luggage of 2 people. The small window giving on the road, one curtain was broken. No soundproof at all - in the night you hear toilet flashes in the next room, in the morning - lorries passing through the round-about just in front. There was an AC in the room, but for such a small space it’s a big risk to get cold. Bathroom was also small and basic, no hooks for towels, no toiletries. When we switched on the light for the first time we heard a strange sound. I supposed that it was insects burning by the bulb (there is no net on the window). But most likely it was wiring problem - in the morning the bulb exploded. We booked the hotel for 2 nights, but we left after the 1st. When you pay 67 euro/night for the hotel located in remote place you expect more. In reality it’s level of the hostel, and not the good one. I don’t know who rated this place “fabulous”. As for the city around - Elciego - it’s just a settlement where people working on wineries live. No points of interest, a couple of bars and 2-3 restaurants, nothing to do in the evening. The restaurant in the hotel is open for breakfast only. The breakfast consists of bread, orange juice, coffee, a piece of potato-onion omelette, that’s all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was fantastic. We came late and open the hotel by ourselves using code. Location is perfect - opposite the church, 5 minutes walk to the city center, 10 minutes walk to Marqués de Riscal winery. There are three restaurants in the nearby buildings, but they were closed Hotel is very stylish with winery theme al around, rooms are clear and comfortable. There is a lot of space to park the car for free near the hotel. Excursion to the old wine cellar is included in the stay and I look Jed it even more than the tour on Marqués de Riscal winery. Our guide June was very enthusiastic and nice Also we enjoyed Valdelana wines and after degustation bought a box of Grianza for nice continuation of our journey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our fourth visit here and will be staying next year hopefully
8.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the recommended places to make your base in la Rioja if you are on a wine tasting journey. A quality winery in itself is close to many more, so you can just walk or drive really short distances. The staff is truly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is tasty, simple and filling - just what you need before a day in the area. They also have a common area for the guests with wine glasses, plates, etc. - very convenient.
Cons: Our room overlooked the crossroads, brightly lit all night long - a lightproof curtain would be helpful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect staff, nice wines
Cons: No internet, some problems....
5.0 Okay
Pros: The tour of the facility was interesting, informative and worth participating. Breakfast is very minimalistic, but so is the price. Elciego is well located in Rioja.
Cons: I expected an "agroturistic" location more like a winery. Building is located in an asphalted round about plaza with vehicular traffic and traffic noise that bothered us. As such the location totally disappointed us. It happened that there were noisy travelers too and there is no effective acoustical insulation. The room was spacious, however under furnished (e.g no table/desk) We understood that for marketing purposes they flood the building with strong lights which are on late and shine into the room. Ear plugs and eye blinders help.

7.1 Good
Pros: Viana is a lovely small town. Can be a better place to stopover on the Camino than logrono.
Cons: Room smallish and dark. Hotel is actually okay but is overpriced for what’s being offered.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location, and lovely stone entrance lobby. Pilgrim's dinner was not bad.
Cons: Was quite disappointed with service - it was not that I would expect of a 3 star hotel. Many of the 10-15euro albergues I was otherwise staying at on the Camino provided much better service. In particular, even though there hardly seemed to be anyone at the hotel, in the low season, I was given a small, dark single room - when I had booked and paid for a double (and was looking to spreading out!). When I mentioned this they were quite rude and seemed to suggest it was my fault for not complaining straight away, and did not provide any recompense - and have not in the 3 days since, though they said they would look into it. There was rarely anyone at reception.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were walking the Camino and this hotel was perfect location. The room was lovely and clean. I couldn’t find hairdryer in room but when I rang down they sent one up immediately
Cons: My only gripe is pillows and I should have asked for a second pillow
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely location, very central. Clean comfortable room. Great breakfast good value for money
Cons: No kettle in the room, the bath plug was broken so water leaked out of bath.
