swimming pool and grounds lack of tea making facilities
big room, big bathroom, all new furniture, cleanliness
We enjoyed the peacefulness of the hotel, the lovely breakfasts and the helpfulness of the staff. The room was very clean and had a pleasant view of the gardens. Good literature provided for excursions. Too far from the town to walk and not really in a location convenient for country walks. Still a good base for exploring the area.
Good wi fi connection
It was clean, functional and good value for money. We are used to having tea/coffee facilities in our room; these were not available.
The location was beautiful & the hotel itself was very pretty with nice owners. No.
The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean. Beautiful views and a great location for the Chateau in Montreuil-Bellay.
The setting of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was relaxing.
the location of the hotel next to the castle & the lovely river where one could walk along.
Very convenient location in the old town.
Clean, comfortable and value for money. Service and food in the restaurant were a delight
Restauarant was superb None
The quality of the bedrooms and public spaces was excellent; friendly, helpful staff; very good breakfast.
Very friendly staff (the only one) as we arrived late. We wanted to eat so he phoned to reserve a place since he informed us restaurant would be closing shortly. Difficult to find as in a complex - directions should be made clearer
Freindly Staff, clean comfortable rooms and excellent value for money. Also I found the two ladies at reception to be extremely helpful to me.
Hotel was very clean and comfortable, staff very helpfull.
Very clean and friendly hotel with good facilities. Quiet location but difficult to find as sat-nav doesn't recognise address - once you see signs for Bocapole it is straight forward.
comfortable bed no bath only a shower
A plesant place to stay and a convenient stop on our way to the south
Clean hotel, quiet despite being close to a major junction, easy access and parking, friendly staff, pets accepted. The ventilation system in room makes too much noise
Hotel was quiet and peaceful. Staff were pleasant, present but not obtrusive. All facilities well maintained, clean, tidy. Good car park. Good location near town but not too close. Nice breakfast. Although quiet and effective in use, air con/heater a little bit difficult to make respond. Only one (good) restaurant within walking distance.
The friendly welcoming nature of our hosts and their willingness to connect with us. The food was tasty and the accommodation was good value.
Not easy to find but staff gave good directions on the phone.Convenient for a short stay
The owner was very helpful. Room was lovely and breakfast was good.
Very friendly owners, were happy for us to check in early. Very much like a Woolsey Lodge in the UK. Comfortable rooms, good communal areas and typical French breakfast around one table. Good restaurants within 5-6 km for dinner.
One worries that the building will survive as it needs a huge amount spent on it Nothing to dislike at all
spacious rooms, as it was a chateau, all the environment swimming pool needed some atention
The Chateau was full of character and very comfortable, The Bedroom was Spacious and bathroom suite was modern with a very good shower. The continental breakfast which was inclusive in the rate was more than adequate and represented excellent value within the price. The welcome and hospitality was very warm.
The chef employed by Le Dagobert must be world class, The food was beautifully presented and of superb quality - Excellent! Nothing of note
The friendliness of the staff especially la Madame of the Hotel who made us so welcome and could not have done anymore to make our stay such a pleasure. The chef who provided us with delicious and attractive meals. First class we intend to go back.
