Location is very good-- walking distance to areas of the city we wanted to visit. The best part of the experience was that the hotel personnel were able to direct us to local sights and restaurants where we had good experiences. The room itself & especially the bath are first rate.
Not much Horrible WIFI. Bad coffee and not many healthy choices at breakfast. Terrible parking. Nowhere to unload the car, the parking is slow, Off site and expensive. The Brustol has no door person and this hotel needs one.
Good location, nice ambience, greta staircase. No ironing facilities provided after day hours! OK to not have one in the room but a 4* hotel should have somewhere to quickly iron a shirt - and the staff made no effort to think of something. Also dis not advise us there was train strike when we booked a cab to the station - the hotel should know things like this and offer to help.
the valet parking
Breakfast was great! The Liguri pasteries are goregeous! The size of the room was perfect for our family trip. The bathroom was also spacious and included enough room for all the cosmetics to fly around without bothering us really! It was also obvious that the ladies did a great job with the cleaning. It looked impecable every day we were there for 4 days. I loved the heart of the hotel which is the highlight of the place. Beautiful red carpet stairs in an ''accordeon''! The floor is a marvellous wooden floor most likely hand crafted. It would need some referbishment...
nice large room very clean... good breakfast limited dining capability in the evening... arrival difficult with car.....
authenticity of the hotel, atmosfere
Location in the very center - good for walking around the city. Very good breakfast. Nice decoration. Free parking at the entrance is always occupied. Most probably you'll be advised to use public parking around the corner. Howewer cost is the same - 20 EUR per night.
Location Internet did not work
building of the hotel is very nice, and it has a good location
The hotel decoration and architecture. It is really nice place, very central and good for some shopping. Still very reasonable speaking about cost and price/quality Very narrow beds, as I was travelling with my son and we have separate single beds, but the size looked like the kid's one. Breakfast is poor.
its handy location we had a pre dinner drink in the bar on saturday night, 2 vodka & 1 coca cola, the charge was e24... even compared to london or new york 5 star hotel prices we felt it was scandelous...
location is smply the best if you're up for historical city centre & shopping, soap/shower gel/shampoo in the room were very good))) staff is mostly unfriendly, and honestly this hotel is not like true 4*, more looks like strong 3*. I stayed in a "superior" room, but it is indeed very tiny yet has modern refurbishment and good stylish bathroom
Very good breakfast. Personnels very kind and helpful. It was raining all day :-(
hotel location; comfort and cleanliness of room; helpfulness of staff, quality of breakfast and restaurant lack of internet capability to use my own laptop in room; limnited room service capabilty when we got in at 11:00 PM
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The room had a bad smell.
Very close to the center and well communicated by bus. Muy cerca del centro y bien comunicado en autobús.
OK in general as a 4 star hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean enough. It was worth for price that I payed to stay with the family I booked two rooms under my name through your web site and confirmed by a mail directly to the hotel too, but it was reserved only one room, at last I was at the reception for a half an hour get the other room
Great location. Breakfast was good. Both rooms had bathtubs, which is a real plus in Europe! The parking garage was a little hard to get to due to one way streets and center city traffic. However, it was plenty roomy for an SUV.
Nice reception, clean rooms, good breakfast buffet rooms are small and there was unpleasant smell in the room
Restaurant. Shower power was weak
The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful. I only stayed at the Bentley for one night but it was a great stay.
A hotel of style and exquisite taste! Genoa is a delightful blend of the medieval and the modern. Stunning!
Very modern design. Spacious rooms. Good location
The staff could not have been more helpful and the room appointments/facilities etc were superb- Genova is also a wonderful city to visit . The restaurant dinner menu could perhaps benefit from a wider selection , given its 5* aspirations.
nice room, great bathroom, excellent staff no tea making facilities in the room
very nice room, large tv, large and plenty of towels, very short bath (impossible to relax), breakfast is served inside (very little sunlight) and the quality of breakfast does not correspond to 5-star hotel (coffee and brioche were disappointing), drinks in bar and room are very expensive, staff is correct but cold and a bit arrogant.
Position and quality of hotel
The head waiter was very helpful in pointing some interesting place to visit around the area.rooms were acoustically well insulated.mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Signage were not clear for those driving.
Brand new stylish hotel I dropped something in the bathroom and noticed that it was filthy under the wash basin etc
Very luxurious suite. Excellent staff service. Very clean. There was even a TV in the bathroom, with a spa bath and separate shower They have the fridge full with minibar items that cant be removed or there is an automatic charge to your bill, and there is no space for your own items. Very annoying but sadly getting more common.
Location of the Hotel, and the Hotel's standart. You get what you expect. Charge for parking was over the top.
The hotel was, clean, friendly, secure and private. I didn't care for the choice of jazz music in the breakfast room. Otherwise, a brilliant hotel in a brilliant city.
the hotel was good value, centrally situated with car parking facilities. we had a number of rooms a the hotel four rooms and we intend to use the hotel again as we come to Genova each year having previuosly used the Jolly Hotel nearby,
This hotel is centraly located in the old part of town but it is set back and difficult to find with no view. Typical old hotel everything you would expect from a building of this perioud.
comfortable room, excellent location, helpful staff
Excellent location for old town, shopping, and train station for day trips. Room layout could have been designed a bit better, i.e. work desk too close to bed.
Excellent staff. Good location. Family Rooms.
Professional service, Nice people, Very clean rooms, nice price Not a lot of parking space! Not easy to find
Location. Very nice in the middle of "old town". Very noisy. Rooms were not soundproof at all.
Perfect position for main areas and accessability to others. Staff were very helpful during trouble a) after bagsnatch b) getting transport to airport during strike. Staff Andrea (all) /Marina/Daniel v good.
The hotel is in the corner of Genoa historical "carungi" triangle. It is very comfortable to go and see all the interesting in the historical center of Genoa. And special thanks to the hotel staff for our laguage, which stayed at the hotel during few hours till our depature to the C. Colombo aeroport. There was some auto`s noise from the street.
Great location, really helpful and friendly staff, nice thata good breakfast was included.
good value for money
Style, size and equipment of the room excellent. Place to work and sleep. -
Noisy tiny room!
Yes, very much. I would go again.
Helpful and courteous staff; central and convenient location; good value. n/a
nice and comfortable rooms friendly staff ,great breakfast they charge my credit card when i did the reservation (15 days before)
Location Room was tiny for such a high price.
Very welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. Ideal central location. Warm, clean and comfortable No
Value for money
The hotel is in a perfect locatino if you need to travel by train and still be in the centre of the city. Easy walking distance to all the main city locations. The staff is very friendly and really very helpful and professional. Rooms are clean, especially the bathroom. the room is maybe too basic, but it is within its price for value target.
breakfast was great! there were Bread,Focaccia,Cereals,Cheese,Eggs,Hams,Yogurt, ...etc.The waiter gave us coffee, cappuccino,Cafe au lait, or whatever we asked them for. Also the location was really great! I could go to the main street (20 septembre)in less than 5 min. There was a supermarket (BILLA)close from the hotel. THe hotel staff were really kind The Wi-fi connection(free of charge)was not working well in the room. The connection was rather bad, so i had to do it on the lounge. Or we can do it when breakfast.
Great location right off Genova's famous food street Via San Vicenzo--public market and legendary focaccia just steps away. Short walk to Stazione Brignole. Very nice sound proofing, comfy beds, nice baths--a perfectly fine hotel for our overnight in Genova. The trash piled outside the hotel was slightly unnerving, but not enough to not return.
THe breakfast was excellent. Location was very convenient. A little noisy at night.
Perfect location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Location (near the railway station). Breakfast, internet access available by wireless. comfort none
nicew staff. good location for the train station and the city center. room was pretty basic.
Staff were friendly & efficient. We felt comfortable there. Well located in walking distance of all major attractions and facilities, including railway stations.
Welcome offered by the staff No
The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and eager to please. The hotel was a good combination of quirky and antique. The location is central. There was some street noise even though we were on the fifth floor.
Just the location Really old rooms, poorly renovated. Weird smell in the whole hotel. Poor light.Poor window view. Awful decoration. Got a really ''cheap'' feeling during my stay
Nice spacious room. The bathroom really small and no internet which it said there was only in the reception area. Can be alot of noise from outside during early hours of the morning.
only stayed one night, Good location and friendly and helpfull staff.
Theese room doors are not good as a hotel-room door. It look likes garage doors.
Closeness to points of interest (Acquarium, Porto Antico in general), very pleasant, helpful staff.
Nothing, we did enjoy leaving They refused my crew entry one night because they had not been paid even though we had not checked out yet and then when we did pay there was a discrepancy on the total which they wanted to resolve with a fight, threatening my colleague and swearing. They are a very aggressive staff force and we were terrified.
Good value rooms, clean & well located in the city The staff.
Good situation. They only speak italian !
central & close to station We had to carry our baggage up two flights of stairs to reception. No lift to foyer but lift to rooms. Was inconvenient with 5 women & suit cases
This Hotel had steps to get to reception and no help with elderly mother. Room very small and cramped wod not recommed unless very cheap. Up side street and not easy to find
Very comfortable breakfast was adiquit The bed was only 2.6in like a childs trundle the first day the room was unserviced
no lift and a large number of steps to climb at main entrance
Position in the heart of Genova Very small room, very small bathroom. Breakfast available from 8.30 to 9.00!!! Very bad people coming back in the evening/night. Really too much expensive for the quality they offer.
Nothing For a 3 star hotel, they do not have functioning telephone lines. You can not make a call outside. No internet facilities, no ironing facilities, a very long, narrow stairs at the entrance without lift and the worst is; the area is extremely dangerous in the nights. You can not go out at all.
Breakfast was goos Online said parking 15 euro, he charged us 166 EURO for 2 days of parking... It also said it was private parking, but it was on the street. Very hard place to find. Rooms were small and stuffy. Bathroom was not great, the toilet was cleaned daily which was good but the shower was not good. It didn't drain so it was very dirty. Also saw a cockroach in the bathroom
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Although very small , Very good location on main street , Very very good service from the staff . rooms are very basic but clean and have all you need
The elevator was really old and really cool. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The worst, though, was the fact that the hotel staff turned the Air Conditioning off before they left for the night and only turned it on the next morning on the second night of our stay. It was still 30C out at midnight. Needless to say I woke up in a pool of my own sweat. It makes no sense to turn the AC off during the main hours guests use the hotel.
we loved the place and the staff. Sergio was super accomodating. He patiently answered our questions.Rooms were small but still we enjoyed our stay because of the warmth of the staff.
Great location, friendly staff, very spacious and comfortable for two star hotel. Only minor moan was room overlooked main road and was bit noisy at beginning of the morning after a late night, double glazing?
The hotel's location to the train station and the city centre. A bit noisy at night time.
Nice hotel in Genoa center. Very kind stuff
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the location was very convenient.
The hotel is very clean & tidy, close to underground & old city, also there is a local market close to it. A little bit noisy due to my room was facing the main street, but was acceptable.
Good location near the historic city center Old building, I think that the main door closes at 1 PM
