Pros: Lovely large room at the head of the main stairway in this lovely large house. Gated, secure parking and entry to the house. Hosts were welcoming and spoke some English, although we communicated in French most of the time. Breakfasts were lovely and plentiful. Helpful with recommendations for local restaurants, sites and way-finding.
Located in Cazaux-Villecomtal, Ancienne Ecole is within a 15-minute drive of A L'Ane Bleu and Natural History Museum.
Pros: Friendly, nice welcome, excellent evening meal which was very good value and very comfortable room. Enjoyed the lovely views to the Pyrenees and the fact that much of the food was grown in their own garden.
Pros: Very clean, excellent food, and a perfect view of the Pyrenees and the plains of the Gers.
Cons: I likexeverything. The place was excellent. I would go back again. The hosts were efficient and very accommodating.
Pros: Perfect hospitality shared with the hosts
Cons: For me, nothing
Pros: It was our second visit. We love the secluded countryside location. The warmth of the greeting, being remembered from our first visit. A lovely room with a very comfortable bed. The availability if wanted, to have a delicious home cooked evening meal. Totally lived up to our first enjoyable visit.
Cons: Not what I didn't like, more a bedroom tv being available, would have been nice to catch up with the news and make the visit perfect.
Pros: The warm welcome we received during our stay. The tranquility and relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Creaky floorboards in our bedroom , but hey it is the Ancienne École , so to be expected
Pros: The location is perfect with stunning views of the fields and pyrenees beyond. David and Teresa made us feel at home. The property is very cozy and simple. Our twin room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. In the evening we enjoyed the best meal of our French trip cooked with vegetables from the garden. In the morning we had breakfast with homemade bread and delicious preserves. I hope we can come back for a longer stay.
Pros: the owners were very nice , made us a nice meal even though we arrived a little late, also gave us wine and coffee at no extra cost, they were a very nice couple.views were great from the hotel.
Cons: the room was very cold, even though the heating was on and a small electric fire, but still very cold during the night, breakfast very basic, could do with a little more choice.
Pros: Coming here isn't like going to a b&b, it's more like paying a flying visit to friends. I felt totally at home, and have already booked my next stay. I ate with my hosts, enjoyed their company and a glass or two.
Cons: My Sat Nav struggled a bit, but I had stalked it already on Google, so knew what it looked like. So easily found.
Pros: breakfast was excellent with homemade bread
Cons: showerroom is little bit outdated
Pros: Very welcoming and homely accommodation. Teresa and David were excellent hosts and made us feel very comfortable. Evening meal was delicious. Would definitely highly recommend.

Pros: Christine made us feel so welcome and was a fantastic host - all food was delicious and most was homemade. Would highly recommend
Pros: First and foremost, the hosts Christine and her husband are extremely friendly and welcoming. They provided us with an excellent and delicious breakfast with homemade bread, cake and yogurt made by Christine especially for our arrival. The bedrooms were large, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and with spacious immaculate en-suite bathrooms. The garden is a serene little piece of heaven, with plenty of space to relax in the sun by the pool. The location is the perfect place to relax. The hosts could not have been more helpful, e.g. getting in touch to arrange arrival, recommending and booking restaurants for dinner and providing advice on travelling in France. Highly recommended. 10 out of 10 score.
Cons: Nothing - can’t wait to go back!
Pros: Staying at Vintage Vert was a highlight of our trip. Our room was beautiful with fresh flowers, chocolates, and crisp clean linens. The food was outstanding!!!. Our hosts were fantastic!!!
With a stay at Bel-Endroit in Saint-Justin, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of A L'Ane Bleu and Natural History Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Sidi and Anne are incomparable. Absolutely the best host I have ever encountered and that is saying a lot
Cons: That I needed to ove on.
Pros: This was the ideal and very lovely place to visit Jazz in Marciac. It's close to but not in Marciac, is situated in the quiet country-site, has really wonderful hosts and offers privacy for those that want it and invites guests to join in conversations with hosts and other guests if that's what you prefer.
Cons: The only thing we liked a bit less was that our private bathroom was not "en-suite". In order to get to it we had to use a landing where we could be seen by those one floor below. Bath-robes were not provided, nor had we brought some.
Pros: The gardens at Bel-endroit are fantastic with beautiful views over the local fields and lake. Sidi and Anne are exceptional hosts and made us feel very welcome.
Pros: Great hosts , lovely surroundings comfy bed
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: Work going on so pool not available. Room very spartan. Few seating areas outside.
Pros: We liked a lot the hosts who share their way of life and hobbies with us. The quiet. Common meals with the other guests. We realy enjoyed to be there and will be happy to return.
Cons: We were in the place in a very hot week. The room and its walls deal with this situation very well and it was not hot in the room. but having a fan could be nice.
Pros: Beautiful house with large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Hosts are extremely kind and welcoming, and breakfast is superb. If someone in your group has limited mobility (trouble with stairs), make sure to call before you go, since not all rooms are staircase-free
Pros: Magical French country side location with superb historical architecture , the home interior and exterior absolutely stunning - the hospitality attentive and warm

Pros: Very clean
Cons: Car parking arrangements were peculiar
Pros: A really underrated hotel. Great facilities and good value.
Pros: Staff were extra friendly, a good dinner and exceptional breakfast.
Pros: This hotel punches well above its weight. The staff are excellent and accommodating. We arrived mid-afternoon after a long drive. They rustled up some excellent sandwiches quickly, without all the usual complaints about the kitchen being closed etc etc. The hotel has a charming terrace where they serve lunch and dinner. The buffet breakfast at 8 € is well worth it. Our room was 76 € a night. We went for the Marciac Jazz Festival, which is 22 km away. It's our third Marciac Festival and out second stay at the Tivoli. We'll go again.
Cons: I've no complaints. If you insist on a large room with deep pile carpet and fluffy towels, for this you must pay more than 76 € a night. The last place I stayed that met that description cost somebody (not me!) 1,000 € a night But if you want a clean and comfortable room with pleasant staff in a pretty part of France, all at a modest price, this is the place for you.
Pros: Welcoming, comfortable and very helpful staff, the hotel is located in the central square of town with a car park just outside the front. It's a smart and clean place, with modern rooms, free wifi and a restaurant and bar open to the public. Our 2 night stay was wonderful - it's surrounded by beautiful French countryside. The town is warm and welcoming too.
Pros: All very good
Pros: We wish we could have stayed longer but our itinerary didn't allow.
Cons: We would have liked to have had the facility to make tea/coffee in our room
Pros: This is a great hotel, the staff were brilliant and really helped me as I ran from Toulouse to Santiago. The food was lovely and so was the wine. Perfect stay in a lovely hotel in a great location.
Pros: Nice bathroom. Had the bonus of a large balcony at the rear, particularly useful as we were travelling with dogs.
Cons: Restaurant was very expensive. Breakfast also costly (€8) for bread/croissants & coffee - no fruit, eggs etc. Much cheaper to go to the bar across the road for coffee & croissants!
Pros: Nice enough and not too far from Marciac Jazz Festival
Cons: Happy overall

Cons: not the easiest place to find as set back off the main road but worth it once you do!!
Pros: Very clean.warm welcome.excellent bteakfast and magnificent virw over the rolling hills of the gers
Cons: Lacks a road sign because it is difficult to find
Pros: They were flakey, a bit dry but pleasant. Bed was very comfortable as was the room. The "hotel", more a very welcoming private residence, has a fine view of the rolling Gersois countryside adding to the feeling of relaxation. Services very good, breakfast very satisfactory. All on all, ours was a short, but very pleasant stay.
Pros: The hospitality shown to us by Betty and Alistar was exceptional. They were kind, welcoming and generous. They provided excellent suggestions on where to dine and what to see as well as maps for our use. The beds were comfy, the shower was excellent and the music from the juke box was really nice (you must inquire as to the provenance of the piece). Oh yes - the breakfasts that they provided were yummy. I highly recommend Maison Rose!

Pros: Very welcoming and probably the largest bedroom we have ever stayed in. Hard-working hosts creating a relaxed and friendly place to stay. A quiet country location with easy access to local places of interest including Marciac for the great jazz festival. Nice clean pool to relax by as well.
Cons: Nothing specifically.
Located in Nouilhan, Hotel Restaurant les 3B is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Church of St. Lezer and Vic-en-Bigorre Town Hall. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Secure Parking, Excellent Breakfast, Good Arrangement for Room Key Uplift.
Pros: Friendly and professional couple managing this hotel. Good sized clean rooms, comfortable bed, secured parking, decent breakfast. Dinner was also good. Very convenient for the Marciac Jazz festival or for visiting the Madiran wine region. This is the third hotel we've tried while attending the jazz festival and by far the best!
Cons: The hotel is right on a busy main road in the middle of the countryside. Windows do have to be closed if you want a bit of peace. The double-glazing works great though!
