Very dated and plain. Furnishings had tears and chips in them.
The location and excellent staff. Spacious rooms. The room decor, fixtures, carpet need serious updating.
Everything very good, especially staff The bath tubs are too narrow for earthlings.
The roof top restaurant was excellent, the food and service surpassed my expextations.I would highly recommend anyone going to Athens to go to the restaurant for dinner or host a function. The lay-out of the room was unusual-the cupboards were blocked by the bed being so close as was the side table. There were no coffee or tea facilities-kettle and cups and the fridge did not have space for drinks to cool well.
It was too loud at night because of the bars and night clubs.
the beach was across the the road, very easy ascess. the bottom 3 floors were unrenovated and not fit for occupancy, we complained and were put on the 4th floor which was excellent.
It was excellent value fo rmoney. We had two linked rooms and were very pleased by the good standard of fittings and comfort. It is well placed for the beach and only 15 minutes from the airport. The breakfast was also very good and excellent value. No
Was direct on the promonade The hotel was being renovated. There was no parking. Publich parking across the street. Kalamati was not the best choice to stay. Some of the smaller villages along the sea, Koroni, Methoni would have been much nicer.
We found the staff to be most helpful, the location great and the breakfasts were satistying! Everything was great!
Great rooms and a huge deack with good views. Okay inside, but the outside needs some work.
The room was big with nice hard beds. It has also a nice swimmingpool with grass recreation field it's a bit outdated
We were immediately impressed with the professional way were were greeted upon arrival. We were given a wonderful room with great view. The bed and comforter were extremely comfortable. The staff very amiable and the breakfast quite well done and substantial. If anything in this category could be said, it would be that WIFI was not available in the room, only in the lobby.
The swimming pool! The breakfast wasn't so great, and the bar with the food is so high that children can't reach it...
Location is excellant for seeing Mistras. Good air conditioning.
The location was excellent. Our accommodation with the double balconey was comfortable although the Refridgerater was in an awkward place
the staff and location
Its perfect location. We were able to sit on our balcony & look up to Mystras & below into the village. Just magic.
The hotel is an attractive building of a simple style appropriate to its surroundings. The rooms are spacious and comfy with views of the lovely surroundings, and I think they all have a balcony. When we were there (early May) to a wonderful scent of orange blossom pervaded everywhere. It was very peaceful. Service was efficient, friendly and unobtrusive. Brealfast was good (except for the coffee which was Nescafe - this is true of much more expensive and luxurious hotels throughout Greece). Mistra is a small and pretty village near the wonderful site of Byzantine Mystras - the hotel fits in perfectly.
The location was very good, the staff friendly, and they had a good included breakfast
The view, could not get tired of that view, breathtaking! Also liked the infiniti pool, gourmet dining with good prices, the peaceful isolation and the uncrowdedness of this unique and wonderful establishment. Finally I cant fail to mention the exceptional service of the staff up and down the line.
The beach (it is small but remarkable) and its attached bar: a magnificent view on the gulf. The breakfast had a very large choice and was served on a beautiful balcony. Some people in the staff were not very friendly; the rooms, although quite comfortable, did not match the overall luxury.
We stayed for four nights in a standard room. The room was clean, but nothing fancy. The hotel has well kept grounds and a has very nice pool. We liked the location of the hotel, it was 10 min to the city and away from the traffic and noise.
Good hotel for those who wants to travel in mountains and swim in the sea in the same day. Very good breakfast, friendly staff. Kalamata is too populated city, this country side is much better. Room was warm and comfortable. Resume: Beautiful hotel, I would stay there my next visit in Greece. We saw the rooms in boongalow - it proved to be cold and with poor design.
Good and friendly service, nice location and environment Shading was not provided in the parking area
hotel staff.service and the location the small size of the bathroom
Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice garden and pool. No rug on the floor and no slippers offered - disappointing for a 4* resort and bad for our health. Also not many choices for breakfast.
The hotel had a quiet relaxed atmosphere and it was set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and quietly efficient. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, and the grounds of the hotel were immaculate.
The staff and facility are really nice. The grounds are beautiful with view of the sea to the front and mountains behind the resort. The hotel is close enough to Kalamata to go in for dinner yet far enough away to feel like a resort town. Our beds were very firm and not very comfortable.
Staff were extremely polite although fresh orange juice was served at breakfast, the quality could be improved
The room was clean and the breakfast was very good As April is still classed as winter in Greece lots of the restaurants around the hotel were closed. No information about any of the facilities in the hotel, no barman in the bar.
very comfortable beds Not enough privacy for parents in family room
Clean, perfectly refurbished, helpful polite staff.
With the busstop in front of the hotel, every 15 minutes a possibility to get to Kalamata (20 minutes to walk to the center, along the beach). While situated near the road and boulevard, the sound of the waves is stronger then anything else you hear. Excellent swimwater and breathtaking mountain view. Class and Peloponnesian friendlyness of the staff going perfectly wel together. The hotel kitchen offers mediterranian refinement for reasonable prices.
The friendly staff & hospitally shown by one & all you made us feel at home even though we were some very far away (Melbourne Australia) Nothing, although I would recommend you add a Massage service option as an optional extra. As a guide the Le Meridien in Pukhet was an ideal model which offered a total relaxation package.
it is a quite hotel a bit away from the city of kalamatas. You will see very beautifull sunsets! the place that excists the hotel is not very good for swimming at the see althugh there is a swimming pool
The view The hotel was in refurbishment mode and at Saturday night thre was a wedding reception at the veranda! It was very noisy
staff was in general very helpful and friendly. my car was blocked/hindered twice, same goes for hotel entrance and ramp. maid refused to bring hangers and balcony was never cleaned. baby cot was smaller than regular. heating had to be requested each time/night. in general it loss in details.
location, great sea view, clean room, good Wi Fi, parking, private beach, free sunbeds, bar service noisy wedding parties are organised during weekends, poor breakfast (no vegetables ! in Greece ! could you imagine ?), more smile at the reception desk
The hotel is not special and is in the road. Fair breakfast, comfortable rooms. The good thing is that all the rooms face the sea. Very noisy people at night and no staff to look for it.
Great facility for children and greatly located. The restaurant needs to have a menu change, it's not enticing or child friendly.
A very accomodating and helpful staff. There could be more information for non-Greek tourists about the sights and events around the Kalamata area.
Rooms are large and bright. Facilities good. Location wonderful. Everything is not quite ready yet. Hotel is making a step up in class.
A very nice ambiente and a prime location, great room. Staff at restaurant could be a bit more friendly and service better organized
The size of the room. The breakfast buffet. The price is too high. The hotel hardly corresponds to 4* let alone 5*
Location of the hotel and vicinity of services(restaurant, pool, beach.excllent bar beach service and very reasonable prices. The beach umbrellas are too small even for 2 and the material of the umbrella needs to be changed as allows the sun o get through. i've seen a lot of guests placing the towels above the umbrellas to be protected by the sun!!!!
Great relaxing hotel. Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Beach is a step away, get to it early and book a cabana for just 10 euros a day. We added an extra day and had to move in standard room, suggest you book the superior room.
The quality of the facilities and the service were excellent. Plenty of space, good pool and easy access to beach and to town centre. The buffet meal on arrival was poor and the menu through the week looked very limited. We chose not to dine there. Breakfast was good.
Price was right. Hotel was perfect except for the menu at the pool restaurant. They need better and more native food options.
great view, nice pool, nice beach. People was kind and everything was okay. we stayed for 1 night only.
the pool and beach too many people at meal times
Location, quiet, romance, breakfast, service, courtyard, cats, view, walking distance to town, friendly staff, beauty
Excellent staff, homemade snacks and breakfast items. The courtyard is lovely. Not the hotel's fault, but just want to mention that the map currently on the booking.com website and the GPS coordinates given on the booking confirmation are incorrect by a few miles. The correct coordinates are N37.06728 E022.37564. This is about 200 meters from the central square in Mystra.
Very helpful staff, tasteful rooms, with all amenities. A perfect stop for visit to ancient Mystras
Staff was very accommodating to our needs and level of satisfaction.
Home made breakfast, friendly service Water pipes were very noisy and we were awoken by our neighbours having a loud conversation outside our door.
The room was beautiful and very well appointed. Big bathroom. Great breakfast with most items made on premise. Good location in Mystras with a short walk to the town square and several tavernas
Very welcoming staff, beautiful room, peaceful setting, nice courtyard for drinks and breakfast. No lift for taking luggage upstairs and no porter to see to this.(Although the young receptionist helped with my luggage,as I was recovering from an operation on my hands, this was a definite minus for me at the beginning of my stay. There seemed to be a general lack of staff at the hotel as we only ever saw one person on duty at a time.
Beautiful tasteful decor in elegant house and delightful helpful staff. Terribel lumpy old pillows not up to the standard of everything else!
Very kindly staff, very nice and clean room, very comfortable bed, very delicious breakfast. No.
Fantastic hotel well worth every penny. Wonderful staff
The villas offer the height of luxury, in all respects. Soft, comfortable furniture, working fireplace, magnificent vistas, delicious breakfasts added up to a perfect holiday. The staff is incredibly attentive and sweet. Somewhere during the night, a fuse got blown, so we woke up without hot water, but the staff dealt with it quickly and efficiently. Getting there was an adventure in itself! Don't even think about it if you don't have a car. The serpentine road leading up to the site was steep and narrow, but the climb added to the overall experience, which was wonderful.
Staff, ac, bathroom Walls in room were dirty/scuffed
excellent staff family environment
Welcoming, family-run hotel - 5km airport, Kalamata town, two blocks from sea/harbour with cafes/bars. Pool.
Centrally located, friendly and helpful staff, nice room and bathroom, the swimming pool on the last floor. Perhaps, there could be a biggest variety in breakfast.
Very friendly staff, good facilities, rooftop pool, close proximity to restaurants and beach.
the Staff were great, and the roof top pool was memorable that i couldn't stay longer
Everything - enjoyed the entire experience!! The room was very comfortable; the unique design was contemporary and funky with full amenities. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. Highly recommend it.
Hotel beautifully appointed. Staff very helpful and attentive. Great breakfast. Pool salted and felt wonderful. Na
Nice small hotel with small but cozy rooms, with friendly staff. The location is good near the port but a little far from the city center. Breakfast was realy poor.
The roof top restaurant is affordable and convenient. The rooms are nice and modern.
Everything, except the way the spa was run. It says Elektra hotel & Spa. We ask: Is the Spa a business itself? When a hotel in Norway has a jacuzzi, the guests can use it for free. It's in the price. At Elektra you must pay € 25 pr. person pr. 20 minutes!! You can have a double room at many of Booking.com's hotels for that price. First of all, this is not good. Secondly; the hotel must not say Hotel & Spa.This is a hotel + a Spa business!
Good facilities, friendly staff. Location
Very efficient & friendly staff. A gorgeous roof top bar and pool area. It is handy for walking out and visiting the sea front cafes and marina area. The room was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. One of the best beds I have slept on in Greece, very comfortable. Its location against the main harbour basin makes it ideal for walking out to the local cafes and marina but it does mean you have to walk further to get to the start of their beach area. I would recommend this for short stays but not for families as it has more of an adult feel to the hotel.
It has a nice location and complete faacilities very near the beach. There are numerous cafes and tavernas wiithin walking distance, the train station and downtown are a pleasant 20 minute walk away.
The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable, the food excellent and the roof top pool breathtaking. By far, the best part of this hotel was the staff. If you are familiar with Greece, no offense to the Greek people, but many of the workers here go out of their way to not provide service to guests or in stores. It's crazy. Not so at this hotel. They were right there taking care of every request -- even childcare. The girl at the front arranged to have one of the stylists babysit our kids in our room for the evening while we enjoyed the rooftop pool bar, even though this is a service the hotel doesn't even offer! We are definitely going back next year, as we go to Kalamata every year.
Lovely and new hotel, everything worked and was smart. Great pool and cocktails on the roof, very enjoyable spa and facilities in the basement. Service was very good and always with a smile. If you hate aircon and want windows open the street is noisy at night. Balcony very hot in the morning.
Convenience to the waterfront. Friendly staff. Could not find an adapter to plug in our transformer for US current.
Spacious, comfortable rooms, very clean, nice brekfast with wonderful fresh orange juice. Not really
this is a very nice hotel, comfortable rooms and exquisite pool bar
