The tranquility, the pure contact with nature... something that´s worth all the euros it cost
silence Clean the rooms, renovate, for the price I expect better breakfast than cold coffee, cheep plastic cheese and ham, old bread
Helpfulness of the owners.
Could not pay with visa!
The house is charming: truly traditional Minho's portuguese family house, exquisite decoration, very confortable bedrooms and facilities.Great breakfast with biological and home made products, gentle staff, very friendly. A must see, stay and experience.
We really enjoyed the fine reception we had. The environnement is sublime.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place itself is beautiful. We had booked a double and were given a twin room, which could not be changed as there are only 5 rooms and all were booked. The room itself, while clean, was very old-fashioned, with religious images, and very little light, not a comfortable space to relax in.
we stayed 5 nights at S Vicente. Very well cared, splendid quiet location, romantic rooms, superclean, good beds and breakfast. The swimming pool was perfect and clean. Staff extremely friendly.
Wonderful hotel, charming place, excelent service
very quiet and nice place to stay - good service and very friendly people not any remark !
The place was gorgeous, the room was a bit small
Wonderful mix of modern comfort in historical building. No guest-staircase in the main building? We used the staff stairs...
Dining area Souless - lacked warmth - no heart
Comfort, Location, Design, Food, Service
Our visit was really a pilgrimage to see for ourselves this reconstructed monastery by the innovative architect Souta de Moura. We were not disappointed. The client and architect should be congratulated for creating this sublime pousada and the staff made it extra special We loved every single about your pousada
the dining room and the meals served
the location is very pleasant for a calm rest. The breakfast and restaurant are very good indeed. The outdoor pool is great. room tv is very small...Multibanco out of service, but that's all.
Beautiful area and hotel Area around the hotel with pool (big and small), horses, rabbits, pigs. Tranquil spot ideal for relaxing with the family Rooms are tiny and stuffy, air conditioning very noisy. "Clean" dishes in restaurante often dirty! Wireless access not available, as indicated. No childrens park (allthough the hotel was full of families with little kids)
superb location, quiet place, awesome breakfast. hotel staff very polite
The staff was particularly helpful. The facilities were very attractive and well maintained.
Very Bad. It was announced as 4 Star, but it was only 3-star. Ins that illegal? Besides, bathroom door of room 106 was broken (broken lock, doesn't close). Very poor cleaning.
Location is charming, surrounded by nature. Not very convenient if you have to visit around.
The staff was very helpful and kind!
An old family house makes it a special place. Luis, the owner, gives the tour thru family estate and museum. He was in personal contact since 15 minutes after the online booking. Great experience!
Louis and Anna were extremely kind and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We were encouraged to feel very much a part of the manor while we were staying and encouraged to make use of the gardens etc. You will learn a lot about Portugal by staying here. There was nothing I would criticise.
The care and attention to preserve the history of the 15th century house and property, the organic garden and the terroir of the spectacular Minho region of Portugal.
Our stay at Casa do Requeixo was wonderfull. Mr. Luís and his family were very lovely. The house offers comfortable rooms, a good view, a pool and the true contact with country life. An experience to repeat for sure.
Very kind reception, the organic farming and products are amazing and very tasty, also the fresh eggs. Kitchen is spacious and allows for cooking, washing and preparing your own stuff. if you are tall the beds may be a bit on the short side
