Excellent hotel, perfect cleanliness, comfort at the highest level. Near the airport, but quiet, cozy. Highly recommended.
Close to the airport, shuttle bus, helpful staff, bar, reasonable breaafast and wifi The room was rather hot and it was not possible to open the window very far or operate the air-con
Ease of booking. Straightforward room key availability with no delay at the hotel check in desk. Problems with towels and air conditioning sorted out immediately by English speaking staff (I unfortunately do not speak any Spanish). The breakfast arrangement was very good, with plenty of space and there was a good food selection for a continental breakfast. The hotel location made our return travel arrangements very easy and it was also easy to get to Bilbao by train (10km) where parking is quite difficult. No complaints
Free parking, Rooms are quite silent and very clean. Difficult to connect internet via-wifi :(
Modern, comfortable, very clean rooms. Good breakfast, Excellent parking and free shuttle to and from the airport. The staff spoke excellent English.
Just usual hotel near airport - clean & comfort. Very bad navigation in the surroundings...
The only reason I stayed in this hotel is because it is 3 min. from the airport and I had a very early flight to catch. The people at the reception always seemed to be in a hurry. Eventhough nobody was waiting at the counter. When I asked questions they were very short. They didn't even made eye contact. or stoped doing whatever they were doing in the computer. Rood.
Conveniently near the airport, large rooms, nice and efficient staff It's a hotel that is ideal for one night before taking an early flight at Bilbao airport. No charm and in the middle of a business/industry zone. No retaurant, but you can order food from a restaurant nearby.
Quiet, clean, spacious and elegant This is not your fault--For reasons unclear, the cab fare price to the airport, a very short drive, was the same as to downtown city center.
Katerine was very helpfull when the hotel was ver difficult to find, we were on the bike.
For beginners golf, driving range is good, but the 9 hole course may explain why the hotel was so quiet Lack of simple food for children. Difficult to find, we joined a spanish couple who were also lost because "s/n" in the address means sin numero, and if you navigate by post code sat-nav will send you 4km too far north. From the motorway north toward Mungia, take first exit which mentions Laukaritz, and go to the right and 1 km up hill. The motorway exit is opposite a Petronor filling station.
The location was very nice and the hotel room was of a high standard. We had dinner in the restaurant however this fell a long way below our expectations. A bit of a disappointment.
great rooms, great landscape, swimming pool, nice staff... the restaurant isn't open at night...the bar still serves food but it gets quite expensive for not a lot.
Very plush and comfortable. A quiet refuge from the noise and pollution of Bilbao! Dinner had a limited menu. This may have related to the fact that we stayed on Sunday and Monday nights.
Very good attention from the staff at all times.
The hotel came up to tne standard of the good reveiws on line. Very pleased with the over all standard and good location for visit Bibio and the beaches close to the city. Minor point - was rather shocked by a bill for over 80 euros charged for having some laundry done- quite the most expensive wash we have had done any where the world!
Comfortable and spacious. Quiet. Check-in staff extremely rude on arrival but atmosphere improved greatly when new shift started. Fake flowers in public areas ruin what would otherwise be tasteful decoration.
big rooms and settings need a shuttle to and from the airport.
A quiet and peaceful hotel with friendly attentive staff . The bedroom/bathroom was modern, clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is close enough to major roads for exploration of the surrounding coast and countryside. Location on a Business Park is rather restrictive - although a bus service is advertised a car is essential.
There is free internet. Although there is wireless internet, the signal quality is not very good. But if you have an ethernet cable with you, you can use fixed internet. Breakfast buffet is not bad but rather basic. It can take some time before they resupply the buffet. Eggs, bacon and/or sausages would be very appreciated.
out of the city with good access roads to the region, very secure parking.
we like the warm welcome, very friendly and profecional we had room 212, when coming out of the lift, one get very surpriced over a small step in the floor, it is very dangerous,
The hotel had a warm and inviting atmosphere and I liked the spanish decor. Thye rooms were spacious and well appointed. The staff spoke English well enough and they friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our stay. nothing
Absolutely beautiful. Room we stayed in was just lovely. Everything about the hotel was fantastict. Staff all very friendly and very helpful. Sitting outside was very peaceful. We stayed here during San Antolin festival so the peace and quiet of the hotel was very welcome. Will definitely come back and request the same room. Nothing, everything was great
Staff were very friendly and willing to help with advice on where to eat and places to visit etc the only problem was the noise from the wood yard which was at the side of the hotel but the smell of the pine trees being cut was loveley
i tjink a rail in bath for older people would be helpful. also i think with the restrictions on what you can take on airoplane, theavailability of a weighing scales for luggage would be helpful
Friendly staff, lovely hotel in a beautiful setting
Hotel was very nice. Lovely terrace outside. Very nice setting. Room comfortable, old country style.
Very pleasant hotel in good location in large grounds when you eventually find it :-) .... very friendly staff and breakfast at 10 euro was good value ... a vert enjoyable and relaxed stay highly recommened Hard to find ... The hotel is located on the edge of Lekeito which has an interesting one way system which our Sat Nav could not compehend ... it is best to appoarch Lekeito from the south along the BI-2405 or get onto that road using the ring road from the BI-2238 if you approach from the west... you will then see a sign saying Hotel Zubieta 175 metres ... effectively the hotel and grounds are on your right from this sign behind the wall ... but need to look carefully as the entrance is through an arch in a corner of a small carpark which you can not see unless you look backwards having driven pass it ... especially if someone has parked a van blocking the entrance from view .......
It is a sharming little hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was very good. The caffe is open all day for drinks and light snacks. The teracce is a bit too noisy in the evenings and you are greeted by a donkey early in the morning :)
its an excellent hotel ... we enjoyed in its environment,, so comfortable,, the staff was are helpful,, i recommend this hotel for
This is a wonderful small apartment hotel, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the island in the bay in the town of Lekietio. This is a renovated villa, and owner has done a terrific job. The innkeepers live on site, are extremely nice, but speak no English, which was no impediment for us although we do not speak Spanish. The rooms are quiet and tidy, the rustic hotel spotless. There was a small kitchenette and sitting room in our unit, with a large comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The innkeepers will supply a continental breakfast if you request it, but you can purchase your own supplies in town and make whatever you wish. There is plenty to do, visit the island at low tide, explore the town, and hike on the extensive walking paths.
The room (actually more like an apartment) was spacious and comfortable. The view from the deck was wonderful.
The view is absolutely stunning. Village on one side, sea on the other. All from the same room
Beautiful hugh rooms with fantastic views in all directions. Although the host only spke spanish, she was wonderful.
Nice hotel, nice rooms, nice position in front of the Sea. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and the woman is a first class cook!! Perfect for business and also for a romantic weekend... I will return there for sure!
Fantastic localization, with great sea view. Nice design hotel with very kind personnel. The restaurant was closed in the day we stayed there. not so big room for the expectations created by the photos.
visit the surrounding, perfect basis to visit Basque coast
Great place but expensive for what it is, well worth a stop though.
the location, the style of hotel rooms
the view, rooms and decor It would be nice if they provided lunch as it is a nice place to stay for a whole day
Beautifully designed hotel with helpful, attentive staff and wonderful food. The location and views are really beautiful. Swimming pool and gardens are immaculate. A lovely place to relax or explore the northern spanish coast.
beautiful hotel, very friendly people, very nice surroundings. We enjoyed it very much!
Everything, starting with the hosts and finish with location.Highly recommend and I suggest to everyone who travel in the Basque country,to stop for one night in this hotel. They never regret.Positive 100%.Cristian from Toronto
very nice clean room with view. extremely friendly hosts. Reasonable price none
The rooms are comfortable. I didn't like the breakfast room. It is a bar in the basement and it is allowed to smoke. The included breakfast is only a coffee, a juice, and a pastry. Additionally, I had troubles with the WIFI.
Staff was very helpful on locating sites to visit. Free parking was available nearby on the street.
We only stayed one night and therewere no problems at all. Staff were very helpful.
The bed was comfortable. The spa was nice. The restaurant food was not good, but for the price you couldn't complain. A shame because the view is so good. It is better to eat somewhere in town.
Value for money meals at the hotel restaurant. Improvements needed in facilities as general
Nice enough place although basic and a little dated. Parking was difficult at times. Needed updating and a thorough clean. Seemed expensive for standard of hotel.
beach view from room was very nice, and Deba is a pleasant town with good atmosphere. spa would benefit from some investment, as it looks a bit tired.
Proximity to the beach not well sign posted and difficult to find because of building work blocking the entrance.
This hotel is situated in a prime beachside location, however it is begining to look a bit tired.
Excellent food and the Menu del Dia was extremly good value and delicious. The restaurant environment was very stuffy which disocuraged us from eating here - and the waitresses did not speak to us at all, even to apologise when one of them tipped my husbands main course all over the table!
Location on the beachsite Their Spa and Wellness is very poor. It doen't smell good, it doesn't look good, it is out of date and dirty; ready for a big maintenance and overhaul. They still try to charge you for the use of the pool, what I refused.
