Strangely a part of a petrol/gasoline station, through which you have to enter it, but this assures 24 hour staff (for late arrivals, safety of your car in the car park etc), and so in practice is actually a good thing. Hotel only built in June 2010, so brand new furnishings, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Small café/restaurant is great value for money and actually had one of the best tortillas I have ever tried (savoury continental breakfast Eur3 pp). Excellent childrens' playroom also (Ikea shoppers will recognise the contents well). All in all, extremely good value for money, and I'd stay again if passing through Miranda de Ebro. On the outskirts of the town, so not great for city breaks, more of an overnight stop when driving from Madrid to San Sebastian or France for example. Looks like there's a brothel just down the road, but far enough away for comfort. Staff were a little quiet and slow especially in the café, but that tends to be the norm in Spain as a whole anyway.
the best nights sleep for a long time
All hotels are more or less the same these days, but we have been staying in this hotel for the past 2 to 3 years now on our way between our homes in the UK and Spain. Nothing.
Clean comfortable and more than adequate for an overnight stay Nothing
Location and service
The friendly efficient 24 hour bar-restaurant was excellent after an 8 hour journey from France The hotel would benefit from better signposting from the motorway to the industrial estate, and to the site itself. We arrived (with GPS) but could not see where the hotel was.
The feeling of space, the relaxed atmosphere and the cleanliness
Because it is located in the middle of an industrial estate it is really more of a motel However the room was huge and very nicely appointed. It was fine for an overnight stop on a long journey. Just the location
Hotel staff at reception very friendly and room was lovely The cafeteria staff were quite rude. Although I dont expect people in Spain to all speak English, I felt no attempt was made to try and help us when choosing from an all spanish menu. The bread was stale, the meal was horrible and the staff rude. It put us off the hotel which was a shame as we both thought it was a lovely place until visiting the restaurant.
Clean, good location, ideal stop for driving up from southern Spain. N/A
Excellent Size room for a family of four. Good air-con system (only works with Key Card in room but your get two key cards). Underground Secure Parking Free of Charge. Very quiet due to excellent double glazing - (right next to major Truck Stop and not far from Train line but could not hear a thing!! you could of heard a pin drop!!!!) There was restaurant next to the Hotel which was good value. All beds were very comfortable, even for the kids who are real fussy!!! Will be using again.
Reception staff were very good. The breakfast arrangements were chaotic and the food available was very poor and nowwhere near the standard of the hotel.
Close to town centre Noisy electric supply box and heavy water leak from airconditioning unit damaged my documents on the desk.
Cafeteria was very basic (although the restaurant was nice), bar only open late at night
easy to find. good stop off on return to Bilbao ferry
The use of the elevision and the A/C The noise of the beds on the floor whenever you moved or sat on them.
Good location and good restaurant; friendly and helpful hotel staff. What was very important for me, I could find them for check out very early in the morning (at 5.50 a.m.) without any problem. Very noisy. You can hear any movement in the coridor and people were returning back and clashing doors during late hours.
The evening meal was excellent Our room was west facing which made it very hot on arrival
the room was very quiet away from the lift.
excellent value for money will stay again
The hotel is brand new, the rooms are super comfortable. Excellent shower.
The girl on reception really looked after us and took us into Vitoria because their restaurant was closed. We chose her recommended restaurant and it was excellent. The restaurant had had an electrical fire and there was only fast food alternatives within walking distance. Only reason for marking down service facilities.
Classic Spanish woodwork with architect design features. Wireless internet free throughout hotel. Rooms clean and warm. Value for money.Staff helpful and cheerful. Promoted as farmhouse - OK description based on hotel design but it was on the edge of an industrial estate with nowhere to walk or other local amenities.
This is a small family run restaurant / hotel conveniently placed to the main routes in northern Spain. It is in a restored finca and the rooms are more than adequate, very comfortable and well appointed. The en-suite bathrooms although small have luxury fittings. The family were very accommodating and deserve to be successful.
Comfortable and clean rrom with modern en suite facilities. The half-hearty attempt to provide food in a restaurant that we suspect was officially closed. The meal was awful and it would have been better to tell us dinner was unavailable with a recommendation of where to go for a decent meal.
Very nice and helpful staff; lovely designed rooms. Unfortunately there was no hairdryer.
We thought the staff were very friendly & helpful. The food in the hotel was very good/
Really attractive village and location. Staff very helpful and friendly. A bit rushed taking the order for our evening meal. Not the relaxing experience I would have liked
IT's location - set right in the middle of a beautiful village.
its location food,bar and service.
Very nice rooms, good food, secure parking. Fantastic value for money. As there were few guests, the dining room was closed and the room they used instead was dismal and windowless. Not a real problem though.
Helpful staff, good size comfortable room. Ease of access to the motorway and a good restraunte attached. Nothing comes to mind.
This is the fourth time that my family has stayed in this hotel...twice in July, and now twice again in December & January. Our return visits speak for themselves. It is well placed for motorway access, and the village of Murgia is quiet and close to a glorious National Park. There is even a bank machine and a chemist next door! The hotel is reasonably priced with large, well equipped rooms and a easily accessible secure underground garage at 4Euros 50 per night. A good selection of toiletries is made available. The staff are professional & friendly. Breakfast is 4 Euros and consists of freshly squeeezed orange juice, tasty fresh pastries and tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The sister hotel next door-..rather boutique in style.. offers a more sophisticated bar and terrace. We were disappointed by the level of warmth in both the rooms and bar area during our recent Winter visits. It was freezing outside and, on arrival, the rooms were baltic. When we went downstairs for supper we had to take out the 'Power/Entry Card', and they were freezing once more when we came back. it's our only quibble but an important one off season, especially as we were travelling with my wife's elderly parents who feel the cold.
good food,nice town,helpfull staff.
GREAT service, nice cafe, great quality for money restaurant, parking facilities..all exactly as advertised nothing, great for one or two nights
We Have stayed at this hotel 3-4 times and have always found everyone helpful and friendly
It was extremely clean and the staff were friendly The English tv consisted of mtv and eurosports which was disappointing and in the shop downstairs there were no English magazines to buy.
convenience to bilbao rooms need decorating
Hotel was easy to find, staff were friendly and spoke english. The meals were tasty and not expensive.overall not excellent but good
The hotel is conveniently situated for the P & O Ferry terminal at Bilbao. I would prefer the restaurant to open earlier than 8pm.
Helpful staff and easy access to eating arrangements no
Convenient from motorway enroute from southern Spain to Santander. Needed an overnight hotel facility and very easy to find,
Breakfast only seemed available at the bar and it was not clear what was included in the price quoted on the booking form, as thestaff spoke no English and our Spanish was not good enough to ind out the information (which was our fault), but it should be made clear what the breakfast consisted of, we though the restaurant would have been open for breakfast. convenience to bilbao beginning to require facelift in rooms
On the highway The booking was not registrated-I could have not find my booked room after a long trip, bad food, noise in the room because of poor insulation
Good access to Northern Pots of Spain No hairdryer in the bedroom
