One counter manager was particularly friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent. There was a leak in the bathroom (under the sink).
It is a clean pleasant hotel on the skirt of the city centre and within easy walking distance of local amenities, bus station and railway station. The staff are very welcoming and happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible. No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.
close to the city centre noise levels from traffic
I found the hotel to be comfortable in a good position and staff were always friendly, helpful and available. I would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
very friendly helpfull staff. place very clen no
the quality of the hotel and the room was very good, and the staff where extremly nice and helpful. .the only negative aspect of it that the room was very hot and sticky.if i thad air con it would have made a hug difference.
I thought the staff were exceptional, the room was very clean and the food was good.
The staff were excellent and nothing was too much. Breakfast was expensive compared to what was available locally.beds hard
nothing You have probably heard the expression "Not enough room to swing a cat". In the Ibis Hotel room I hardly had enough room to move my computer mouse! I have stayed in many hotels across Germany. I would never stay in an Ibis Hotel again because the rooms are far too small, and they cost far too much.
The staff were good at their job , rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable Breakfast was expensive, corridors could do with a face lift , under staffed on bar /reception
I liked pretty much everything about your hotel really. Well, the minor inconvenience there was the entrance renovation work in progress but I was informed about it in advance, thanks to the hotel administration. Thus there were no unplesant surprises at all.
cleanliness / choice of food at breakfast
Cleanliness, proximity to Paderborn's city centre
the quiet rooms, the honesty fridge
Reception was only open until 14.30 on Sunday
Very good value for money
very clean and tidy room
the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was lovely. the location was perfect.
centre of town did not speak english
We attended the British Fest ,and went down memory lane by meeting with ex Army pals from the 1980s We went for Breakfast on the Sunday , The Standard of the food for the money spent was poor the scrambled eggs were cold and the bacon was very greasy .
Frendly staff, good service. Good breacfast Wery hot in the room during the night.
Rooms were very clean
Nothing special. It has no special interest. It is just a place to sleep
Nice, clean room, also very quiet surroundings. Recommend coming by car though.
Polite,helpful,english-speaking staff.good pizzeria restaurant. No lounge or bar.NO Coffee making facilities in room.Too many flies in restaurant and on buffet food.NOISY Road position if have to open windows(no aircon).Beware group bookings on saturday night- v noisy party meant we had to move rooms at 4am.
Staff were very friendly and kind It was very hot and there was no air conditioning.
Convenient on-site restaurant. Good breakfast. Town centre walkable, also on regular bus route. Airport taxi service. No tea/coffee facilities in room.
Easy access to Autoban
It was basic but comfortable. Unfortunately it was further out of town than I expected.
rezervation for 2 rooms. In the rooms is not heat. The heating it's don't work.In rooms is about 5-6 degrade.I't very could.
close to McDonald's and full service gas station with restaurant close to road noise, no vending machines
24h check-in The thermal insulation of the room was not very good, so the temperature during the night was quite low, even with the heater at full capacity.
Manager of the hotel went out of his way for us - even let me do laundry in his personal machine. Hot water system was excellent. Would definately stay there again
Location was excellent if you wish to visit the Warsteiner Brewery. Rooms were to the usual exceptional German cleanliness and decor standard and were in the design of a countryside style, largely pine. Mini bar, which incidentally was really only full of Warsteiner beer, was refreshingly at lower than bar prices. Breakfast was to the usual standard as a continental buffet with plenty of interaction with the hotel staff. Only real dissapointment is that the ground floor bar was not open in the evenings so an evening meal neccessitated a 1km walk to the nearest restaurant at the entrance to the brewery site (Pluckers). With a bit more effort on this front to provide bar hot snacks and drinks at the hotel it would be a great option, but sadly No evening facilities (drinks/food). Had to walk 1km to nearest bar/restaurant on an unlit gravel track.
Is part of the brewery complex so convenient for access. Needed to contact hotel to get instructions and an access code for key as arrived after 6pm. - not a real problem but might be difficult if you do not speak any German.
Lovely location. Staff very helpful but language was a barrier. Room very clean but no refreshments provided. ( Tea / Coffee ) Will defenatly stay here again. No tea / coffee making facilities in room.
Location. Not far from the A33 motorway but a quiet location. Pleasant walks to be had. None
Very welcoming, beautiful house and garden, lovely room, excellent breakfast. None
nice small family hotel the blankets are very small. and there not any extra blankets or pillows. and in the night time there is nobody in the reception.
First hotel ever in my life offering no soap or shampoo
Good staff attitude nothing
A family run hotel with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Very convenient for the motorway access.
The staff is plesant and efficient. They apologised that there was no menu in english and quickly located someone in the staff to sit with me and translate what was in the menu. This is *Service*. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel advertise free WLAN, but it requires them to generate a voucher to log in to the system and this is not done unless you ask. The WLAN then blocks outgoing VPN connections which was somewhat irritating. I can work around it easily enough, but I did not expect to have to do that.
The staff could not be more friendly or helpful. I shall certainly return.
The accomodation wing has only recently been opened and the room was beautifully appointed. The restaurant was excellent and there was a first rate sauna as well. Convenient for Paderborn and the army camp at Sennelager Nothing
Sincerest thanks to the lovely englishman who stayed up late at reception to welcome us into the hotel. No criticisms really - freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast would have been nice and also a non slip floor in the shower tray!
We arrived very late & left early - simply a place for us to sleep when the drive home was too far. However, we are regular travelers and know good quality for the money. We had two nice rooms for a very reasonable fee: a single room on the front side facing the parking lot for 80 euros & a double room on the back of the hotel facing the golf course for 100 euros - obviously ask for the backside if you are staying any length of time. It does have a large function room and, if you are a light sleeper, you may want to ask if there is a party scheduled before making your reservation or make sure your room is far from the action. The breakfast buffet is very nice - smoked salmon, prosecco, good scrambled eggs, etc.
Nice room and building. We arrived just a few minutes before the latest check in time (due to roadwork on Autobahn) and when we two times, 1 hour before and 30 minutes before, try to call them, they neglected to answer the phone (which was apologized later). That caused us more stress than we wanted, since we had to drive faster to get there in time.
Dispite the very few guests (sunday), all facilities were available, and all personel were helpful and kind. Even the breakfast buffet was fully available for one or two guests..
Very quiet. Nice mixture of old and new. None
The staff was very prompt and helpful Concept of double bed -two single beds joined together with single matresses,Need to have tea/coffee making facilities.
Very quiet at the time of our stay, which was a bonus! Very wide choice for breakfast despite the apparent small numbersof guests. Staff very friendly & helpful. Nicely maintained grounds. No tea making facility in bedroom. Spa treatments very expensive.
Our stay at the Landhotel Puster was excellent. Dinner and breakfast could not be faulted and the staff were very helpful. A great location for surrounding area which has many places of interest and is very beautiful.
Good food, good room, good restaurant. VERY friendly owners and staff. No tea/coffee facility in room.
The staff here were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The room was large very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent.
Excellent room, nice pool and food quality was also good.
staff couldn't be more helpfull. nice quiet location
Good service, nice room, good late check-in facilities The owners smokes and allows smoking in the bar.
Quite nice hotel as four stars. Room is clean and big. No wireless internet in the room. I live in two nights, but the second day, I find out the towel and tissue box are not changed in the bathroom. Drink and snack in the room need to be charged.
The staff in the bar where I took a meal in the evenings could not have been more helpful and spoke good english as did the desk staff. I was there for 8 days after extending my stay and my bedding was not changed once. Also you have to tell them if you are not taking breakfast as you get charged. I was also charged for parking but they did take it off when I explained that I did not even have a car. It is a bit of a walk into the centre.
Would like coffee/tea making facilities in the room
It is a good business hotel For the second time staying here they tried to charge me more than i had agreed on booking.com. They did change it when I got my e mail to show them. Luckily I knew what I'd agreed to pay.
great breakfast Extremely small room. Overpriced for the facilities available.
fresh atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, breakfast excellent standard of evening meal not great
i was staying there to see a friend, so was ideal as easy walking distance into town
Hotel was modern and clean. Beds require 2 pillows per adult which is expected by UK customers. Lack of Tea/Coffee making kit was not good.
Good location, good size room, everything working, good breakfast
Spacious rooms, attentive staff. No bath in otherwise luxurious room.
What a fantastic 4 star hotel!! Such lovely design, beautiful rooms with super-clean and nice bath, free internet and mini-bar, lovely buffet breakfast. Excellent value for money as well, at around 100 Euro per night. Highly recommended.
Surrounded by countryside. Not commercialised. Easy to catch the bus into nearby town of lippstadt. It did not have an oven. Only a microwave oven.
Hospitality and friendly ambience. Breakfast manu was short.
Fantastic room. All the facilities you could need. Beautifully furnished and presented. Does not take Visa. Had to go and get cash!
Large rooms, good beds. But the atmosphere (and kitchen) is similar to return to the old ddr, but it works It's situated nere a busy road
The Hotel is in a good location for Paderborn city centre, an easy walk to loads of restaurants and shopping. A large parking area is also nearby at a cost of 2.5 euros for a day ticket. The internet was very intermitent and did not work at all in the evenings, this was a dissapointment
I had stayed in Stadthus on a short business/holiday trip with my husband in Sept 09. We liked it so much that when I needed to do a short solo business trip there was no question of going anywhere else. Overall I consider it excellent. I like the hotel very much but as a solo occupying a double room it is a little bit expensive.
This hotel was an excellent find. It is at a central old town but quiet position, had a night porter on duty to let us in at midnight, a beautiful large bedroom, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff and stored our case for us on day of departure. The room we were allocated does not have lift access - a difficulty for my husband who has mobility problems. There are other rooms which have lift access. I had not asked in advance and staff were willing to move us but we did not want to give up our lovely room!
The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, efficient and friendly.
Staff were absolutely brilliant and the hotel was spotlessly clean No tea or coffee facilities in the bedrooms
The hotel was located centrally for the city and the staff were excellent and could speak good english
Great location, quiet position, large room and spacious bathroom. the breakfast was execellent. very heppful staff. -
A family run traditional type of accommodation with character and charm. The staff were very helpful and friendly
Visit to family Bar closed on saturday
Great place, nice people, very nice design.
nothing stale smokey smell all through the hotel, 1960's decor could do with being up dated
OK hotel in any way. But we did not know it was out of town Paderborn. Good breakfast, served by a smiling woman, but the restaurant was closed an we were on the country side almost.
Helpful staff in a quiet hotel on outskirts of Paderborn. Very handy for public transport, local bus every 20 minutes to Paderborn.
cleanliness, buffet breakfast was good although one morning no boiled eggs and sparse bacon. no lift, we are both 65 and two flights of stairs was a struggle, also would prefer a double bed not 2 singles pushed together
It was just an overnight stay for a late business visit to Paderborn My compliments on the service of the hotel. Got the key for coming in
The people were extremely helpful and friendly Breakfast was an anticlimax. Not as good as expected
Nothing special, standard good hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but it was closed for hole day. That was a problem, especialy in the evening. The nearest restauration for a dinner or a glas of wine was about 10 kilometres.
Really nice experience and people !! all perfect !! good price !! (todo perfecto!! Y gente agradable y sin problemas... Es recomendable...)
