nothing! 20 euro ride into nantes town and even further from rugby stadium. 1st night there 5 of us had to sleep in 1 double and 1 single bed, even tho 5 beds were booked! no bedding on 1 of the beds for weekend.
It was quiet. Rooms available when the rest of Nantes was full. No staff.
Friendly staff who assisted in finding another hotel due to over-booking Over-booked, even though confirmation was e-mailed!
I found 45 euro per night far too expensive for a hotel like this. I would classify it more like a 20-25 euro experience. Basically I was very dissapointed, because for 45 euros I had expected something different.
Cheap & convenient location(close to the highway exit). The restaurant in the same block is value for money. Just as other customers mentioned, the self check-in machine does not always recognize the credit card which was used for the booking. We arrived at the hotel after 2:00am when the reception was closed, so we had to use this machine however my credit card continued to fail the check-in. It was miracle that the machine read my husband's card after all.
Restaurant at nearby Camponile hotel was very good Poor lighting in room
It is OK value for money, and for one night, it is fine. We could park our car out front for free. It was clean, had a bed, tv, and the shower worked and the water was hot. Very basic - reminds one of college dorms. We call it the plastic box - that is what the bathroom/shower is like. A big person would have trouble taking a shower. I wouldn't stay more than one night.
very good, but first night so many mosquitos bite me. oh my god, 2nd, 3rd night were
the price. very comfortable double bed. the bunk and shower are not very suitable for a large person.
Bed and pillows comfortable These used to be very cheap - 3 very basic rooms cost more than an appartment hotel with three rooms. Same chain as Campanille who have aso pushed up theirs - look elsewhere
The hotel was situated near to the access to beautiful walks around the Loire. The food in the restaurant was first class and the staff very helpful.
Clean, practical hotel suitable for one night stay. Staff were unwelcoming and totally ignored comments made regarding restaurant standards.
Staff were attentive and polite. Bathroom and bedroom spotless. Breakfast very good and service excellent for dinner.
The food was excellent and the room was comfortable enough. We enjoyed excellent stroll along the river & to the local castle ruins.Excellent shower. The room was cold - the weather was exceptionally cold for May & there was no heating other than the towel rail.
What a fab find - a grea little chateau. Located out in the wilderness, but only about 30 minutes from Nantes if you want to visit. Peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are very well decorated and equiped. The host very pleasant and serves an excellent french breakfast - sets you up for the day. Great court yard to chill out in and sip some vin!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely castle. It is a very elegant building with very good staff.
Stunning place to stay, however as we were the only people staying there in July, and with no air conditioning, it was pretty uncomfortable, and a bit desolate
This is a lovely chateau that has been beautifully restored and furnished. Despite the website promise of candlelit gourmet dinner, the restaurant is not open (well not in October) and arriving after a long day we had to drive 5km to the nearest village. There appeared to be only one man running the hotel who was good enough to show us around the chateau but whose duties did not seem to extend to helping with bags or opening the bar.
Peaceful location and building Customers should be aware there is not restaurant at the hotel and the nearest place to eat is 5km away.
The hotel had a nice setting and was quiet. The bar staff were quite friendly The restaurant was closed
The house. This place is wonderfull to stay
The hotel is quirky and charming, its location peaceful, the staff supportive, the rooms interesting, the gourmet food outstanding. Nothing
This is a charming hotel. All of the staff and the unassuming propieter were anxious to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We found the fare in the restaurant of a very high standard, if unusual to our palate, an experience.
Very good restaurant. poor television set; bathroom a bit poor: not easy to take a shower in bath without a shower curtain.
Most positive was our upgrade to a most beautful room from our classic room booking at no extra charge. The opportunity to experience staying in such an historic and beautiful chateau without it being pretentious and overdone. The sense of place and time has been preserved in its restoration which makes it stand apart from 'noveau' restoration projects which usually lack sympathy and understanding for the original buildings. One small item would be that there sitting/lounge room could be made more homely with more comfy couches. This would also add more warmth to the adjoining cloister walkway and help balance out the beautiful stonework within the overall building.... ie a touch of softness..
A really peaceful quite place to relax and enjoy some luxury. Great food. Worth the money. Pool could have been cleaned better.
Comfort & tranquility
The food vg No wifi in rooms- 3 Flights of stairs no lift- No check out till 9am
Very good hotel looking like countryside style- romantic and quit atmosphere. The room was great with nice view. Breakfast was expensive and not delicious.
It was a very nice modern hotel, which fitted in with it's much older surroundings. The staff were friendly and the room was great. Also it was reasonably priced. It was difficult to find.
Clisson is a beautiful town and the hotel is in a stunning location. We would love to return for a longer stay and enjoy the surroundings at leisure. This time we only stayed one night passing through. Very difficult to fund the hotel and access by car is also difficult. The Aircon system did not work and one of the staff on duty tried to pretend it was working fine.
nice staff, clean rooms and sanitaries internet acess
Stunning location..very modern bedrooms..excellent bathroom..friendly staff..very good food..definately exceeded our expectations. Have already recommended it to friends in Jersey. Will certaiinly use the hotel again..perhaps for a weekend break from Jersey Difficult to find !!
Great experience! Excellent location for a business/leisure combination.
Very nice, cosy, comfortable room... very clean. Beautiful pool surrounded by a garden that could sell any product! Easy parking. Interesting area, wish we could have stayed longer to explore further. The toilet, which never malfunctioned but which we were warned against flushing even toilet paper down.
Nice pool & garden. Hotel very quiet. Overall nice but lacking and expensive for what it is. Our request for a cot had not been received by the hotel from booking.com or they had ignored it. Either way we had to wait and they made some comments about how we should have requested it with the booking. Staff not around much and no food or drinks available after breakfast. No towels for pool which I would expect for price.
Gardens, quiet athmostphere.
A lovely big room in a mansion with beautiful pool and landscaped gardens in the heart of the town close to a cafe and restaurant. I had expected carparking from the ad but when booked told there wasn't any available. Managed to park in the street thankfullly. The hotel overlooks the church and the bells toll every 15 mins from 8am to 9pm. No staff at the counter so had to always ring for them. No air conditioning and place seemed deserted in the evening so had to call staff just to get some water at 10.30pm .
helpful staff and good location
The standart rooms too small but clean. Hotel staff and services was fantastic. 20 min from Pue de Fuo attraction.
The silence was OK. The environment was nice but a little poor.
Noisy and old accommodations and too expensive for what you get. ...bathroom was outdated, narrow stairway to bedroom, lamps that have no bulbs...really, I don't see any charm in this hotel...I advise to stay at any other hotel in the area!
