Cons: We booked a suit got there realized it was small, stayed 2 nights and took an extra room.Day 3 we booked a two bedroom suit which really isn't it's just them bringing two rooms together. We were shown a suit with a balcony & since my artist is super claustrophobic and has a lot of luggage we agreed to that.Upon going to pay they claimed someone booked that particular room for 2 nights and we booked it right with them less than an hr ago for 3 nights. These super racist hotel people just because the person was black almost even lied they never showed us the room.We left the hotel and booked a huge 3 bedroom penthouse suit somewhere else.Mind u we had no issues we these people we just decided to leave after realizing it was more of a racist thing, I forgot to mention their services suck, they barely help with anything like umbrellas and opening doors smh we never even had a conversation with any one except the manager the day we left but go this email today claiming we were rude to their guests.
Pros: Loved the location in Central Manchester. Made it very easy to get around. Opus bar was fabulous and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Room was lovely and made for a great experience.
Pros: Nice setting and location, good breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: Needs investment certain things looking old now, my first stay years ago was very impressive it seems more like a 4 star now and the little touches aren't there like before.

Pros: I liked the lay out of the room and the hotel is nice. Perfect location.
Cons: Its 2014, u can offer free WiFi. 99% of hotels do
Pros: Fantastic location! Loved the look and history. Loved the age of the hotel. Breakfast on site was a plus. Good selection, easy and started the day off right.
Cons: The booked us in an ADA room and that was all they had. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable but the shower was awful and the sink was too low if you stand at it. I felt terrible taking a very well equipped ADA room and it was not super comfortable for tow very tall adults.

Pros: Close to the trains. Clean. Excellent staff.
Cons: Rooms are tiny. Bathroom is like a cruise ship's.
Pros: The double tree is a nice hotel at first glance. I found the staff at the front desk were not the most welcoming but that wasn't the biggest problem. The room was comfortable for the most part and me and my companion were looking foward to a nice stay.
Cons: The shower had two choices, freeze or burn. It was nearly impossible to get the shower at a normal temperature which was a huge issue. But we were only there for 2 nights so decided it would be better to give it another try than moving rooms. On our second night which was a Saturday we were awoken at 4 am by a group of drunk girls that were screaming down the hallway. I felt like I was transported to the worst spring break all inclusive. I called the reception 3 times and in all fairness they came up every time to get those stupid girls to shut up. Then their guy friends came from the party minutes later and started retaliating to help their skanky girlfriends. They were standing outside of our door yelling obscenities. I called again and eventually the noise stopped but at that point I had one more hour before having to get on a train to the airport so my entire night was ruined. While they were definitely responsive to the times I called they should have kicked these people out. What kind of reputation do you want to have? I know that on my next visit to Manchester staying at the double tree and staying at the hatters is pretty much the same. If you want to maintain an upscale reputation then be more selective about who you let stay in you hotel or at the very least have your front staff make the rules clear when these drunken idiots tumble in through the door of your hotel.

Pros: Layout, number of bars available, proximity to amenities, room.
Cons: Pizza we ordered on room service was clearly an oven pizza (Goodfellas). For the price I was expecting homemade.
Pros: Nothing is to much trouble for the staff, everything was 1st class.
the hotel is part of Bolton Football Club. On matchdays it can be quite chaotic, but you expect that. the hotel is close to a complex I identified about 15 years ago as an up and coming 'place to live.' I am pleased it has lived up to expectations. Whites' staff go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. All credit to them.
Pros: the staff are friendly and welcoming, Sarah, in reservations made contact with me by email, and helped me out. I was grateful for this.

Pros: The Clayton Hotel is very good at providing accommodations for lots of people. Lines are long but move quickly. Food is what you'd expect. The bar has lots of seating. Basically, it is a very convenient and well-run hotel.
Cons: The Clayton does cut a few corners. There are no tissues in the room (my nose was running from a cold). The soap bar is amazingly small but more than is needed for a shower or two. Would I stay at another hotel at the airport, no. I recommend the Clayton.
Pros: Very clean and efficient. Good service with the shuttles to the airport.
Cons: The bar could have had more ambience. Seemed a little sterile
Pros: It was close to the airport and they have a 24 hr shuttle
Cons: However, the shuttle was late, like 40 minutes, and we had to call twice to make sure they were coming. The room was old. Like 1975 orange couch old
Pros: I liked the room, the bed, and the large bar/lounge/dining room.
Cons: The price goes up every time I book. The mini-bus transportation, even though it requires booking, seems a bit of a free for all when waiting to board the bus, leading me to believe that the number of bookings do not match the number of seats!
Pros: Convenient to the airport with a good restaurant
Cons: The only thing I could complain about is no one advised us that the heating/cooling system was turned off in our room upon arrival.
Pros: Free Wifi
Cons: No ice machine
Pros: Very convenient for airport and car rental. Will accept early arrivals. Excellent full breakfast.
Cons: Some rooms are not up to par - smell and have been patched up. There is no air conditioning so it can be bad on a hot day. They will supply a fan, if you ask.
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: I thought I was booked into the Crown Plaza next door. I arrived a was greeted with a smile. Since it was 10am they had no problem allowing me an early check in...then I realized my company booked me in Bewleys :(
Different experience altogether..check in lady was Eastern Europe...not very friendly and recited the welcome greeting with teeth clenched. Then I asked if I could check in early having flown 25 hours. Yes for 20 pounds...OK no problem. I had already paid in advance for the hotel and because my credit card would not work in the machine I had to go and find a cash machine for 20 pounds which meant driving into the nearest town. Then was advised there was a charge for parking and breakfast!
Honestly, if you are traveling long distance and prepaid your room I would like to think that for 20 pounds they could have let me had a shower first before my meeting that afternoon!! I will be staying at the Crown Plaza next time for sure.
Ho, and the gym was terrible...one bike one tred mill and thats it!

Beyond these urban attractions rise the limestone valleys of Peak District National Park, just a half-hour by car.
Pros: Location, spa, gym, tea shop and other shops
Cons: No choice concerning price for breakfast
Pros: the spa!!!
Pros: Good service in restuarant
Pros: The location - great views. The interesting layout of the Village, and the way the buildings have been created around the original farm buildings is unique
Cons: The bar was dull and the drinks expensive. The restaurant dinner was very ordinary and the waitress didn't know what the dishes were when asked. The breakfast was excellent
Pros: Layout and general ambience of the hotel was good and very user friendly
Cons: In the current market place I think you should think about a bedroom refurb - getting a bit dtaed now
When visiting Bolton, Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa is a great choice to consider. Guests can be pampered with massages at the spa and grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. An indoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer 24-hour room service and bathrobes.
The staff were great and made our stay (my dog) very welcoming! Had a lovely stay and enjoyed the hotel?
Pros: The staff
Cons: It was a little further out, but bus service was good!

Pros: Good business hotel, warm and friendly staff, 5 mins from terminal
Cons: expensive wifi just because I didn't book direct - it's a standard feature thesedays to at least offer a free basic connection - Hilton: please accept that most customers will use price comparison sites out of convenience rather than booking direct.
Pros: Convenient to airport.
Cons: Afternoon coffee and tea stupid expensive
Pros: Room was clean and well-presented and bathroom came with nice toiletries and fluffy towels. Front desk staff were very helpful when we found we had left our toothbrushes behind they had toothbrushes to us within 5 minutes! Airport/train transport was quick and efficient.
Cons: Given its proximity to the airport it would be helpful to have in-room USB charging. We had left our plug converters with family and were unable to charge our phones/devices till we returned to the US.
Pros: Good shuttle to airport.
Cons: Service in the bar was poor.
Wifi in room had weak/intermittent signal and was unusable.
Pros: I liked the plentiful hot water and good toiletries.
I enjoyed the quietness of the room.
The airport "shuttle bus" service was EXCELLENT. It was prompt and courteous. HOWEVER - it would have been useful if I had been informed about the shuttle service when I made my reservation. There is NO information at the railway station and the hotel "hotline" phones are in disrepair which meant that I had to wander around quite late at night looking for information that would direct me to the HILTON .
Cons: The bathroom sink did NOT empty out - there was 'standing water' for a considerable length of time before it finally drained away.
The bed mattress was not particularly comfortable and the skimpy bottom sheet kept pulling out of place - it needs to be a fitted sheet.
The TV instructions were a little confusing - I never did figure out the "Morning wake-up call" system.
Pros: Free shuttle to airport, close to train station, helpful staff
Cons: Need more outlets
