We felt at home. This place is obviously old and being renovated, but the old trees and nice views were perfect. There are a lot of things to do at this place, including several kids activities, or adult. There are multiple restaraunts. The place is under construction currently, but it was not a bother, just ugly in certain parts.
Golf Course The room was tired. Funky plumbing in shower. Very small bathroom. Broken sceens below windows would allow rodents in. Overall the place is looking worn out. Salashan truly needs to upgrade for the prices they are charging. Slight mold smell in the room. I probably will not be booking anything again untill I see the place upgraded.
Lots of construction but much of the facilities were in disrepair and felt a little unsafe, such as stairwells and decks. Wait staff was not always very kind or helpful and we felt like they were angling for tips. We had a good experience at the spa except that we were really looking forward to the coed jacuzzi and it was closed. We may not have spent all that money had we known it wasn't available.
Excellent breakfast at the grill.
Not great but over all was a nice and very relaxing weekend and that's what we were looking for. Would have liked it to be closer to to the beach and or town although if you come prepared they have everthing you would need on site. Lots of amenities. Overal we enjoyed out stay.
I went to Salishan for a personal rejuvenation retreat weekend and it did not disappoint. The room, views, property, and service were spectacular. I'm not a golfer, but the golf course views and landscape were fantastic. The crown jewel is definitely the spa - excellent value as you can make a day of using the facilities there. Salishan is great for fitness as well, with the gym and trails right off the property. I even used the nearly-empty beach for yoga and meditation. My only complaint is that I didn't stay longer! How do I put this... the restaurants need an upgrade. The family restaurant is fine and the prices are good for a resort. I didn't eat at The Attic but it has a great atmosphere. The fine dining restaurant, however, is about 30 years behind contemporary cuisine -- which may be fine for their demographic or what's standard for small town "fine dining." But if they want to cultivate generations X, Y, Millennials, etc, especially coming from the food mecca of Portland, they severely need to overhaul the menu and service style to 2015. The Oregon coast is way behind and the restaurants that update stand to become destinations and profit accordingly.
decor was heavy and gloomy needs some real updating color were baroque (more like a dungeon.
Free upgrade to a very very large room with a partial bay view. Comfortable bed, gas fireplace, lots of large windows and beautiful furniture. Comfortable and a steal for the price.
Everthing you need is on site Under construction booking site did not say this I didn't know tel after I booked and the hotel emailed me to confirm by this time it was too late
There was no hot water, barely warm enough to take a shower. They use to have a lot of nice shops in their shopping village, not any more! At least 75% are closed and out of business. The lounge closed way too early given that they call themselves a resort. I have been to this hotel many times in the past with nothing but positive things to say...not this time. I won't be back
Awesome room, clean, good view, perfect access directly to the beach! Nicely renovated and romantic, quiet due to being far from 101. Love the lobby. Fireplace wasn't as hot as expected. Sliding balcony door needed to have salt water washed down more.
The surftides is a very clean motel with outstanding ocean views and a great staff. This is our third time staying here in the past three years and we will definitely return next year. It's spendy but worth it. We highly recommend the surftides.
Staff was very helpful when we left a few items behind in our fridge and had to go back and get them. Oceanfront view was nice and the small balcony gave you a great place to enjoy it. the pool, hot tub and sauna facility was GREAT! Carpet was a little dated
I love the setting. Right on the beach, but far away to feel private as well. New decor was a bit severe. A dresser was not available for the room. When we complained, the situation was rectified. I generally got the feeling that they were understaffed.
Loved the view. appreciated the front desk, taking fifty dollars off the room, for the inconvenience of the people above us. They took it off on their own terms. I didn't even ask for a discount. The person in the room above us,was very loud and rude.
Large room The toilet was broken and the maid opened our door and knocked several times during our stay. The toilet at first wouldn't flush so I had to take the back off the tiolet to flush it. We told the front desk and she said if she couldn't fix it she would get a plumber for our room. After she "fixed" the toilet. Pushing the handle down to flush took 2 hands & all my strenth. It was pretty annoying.
Nicer hotel than we expected; incredible hot breakfast--so many choices! Very affordable.
two blocks form beach, balcony rooms ocean view, casino and town shops close by... Breakfast included.
I love the fact that this hotel was close to the ocean, shopping, and hiking. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I plan to be back again when I travel to Lincoln City.
Staff,breakfast,clean,affordable Liked everything.
Loved everything the hotel offered. Was a great experience Last breakfast was really cold..
This is our second stat at Inn at Wecoma, and we absolutely love it! The staff is wonderful, the rooms are nice (balcony rooms have a distant but nice ocean view), it's a 2 minute drive to great beach access, and the indoor pool/hot tub area is wonderful! The lobby is very cozy, with a fireplace and couches, and you may even find cookies waiting for at the front desk after your fun filled day in Lincoln City. We found out that if you book directly through the hotel, they offer a reward program (stay 10 nights, get 1 free), so we will definitely be doing that when we stay here next. Great place to stay at a very reasonable price! Our only complaint was the breakfast was just okay. There were several hot items, but they weren't great. The cold items (muffins, bagels, etc) were pretty tasty.
Loved the included breakfast, they had a little of everything. Pool closed too early for a weekend, which was 10.
We really enjoyed our short stay. It was a calm, relaxing environment for our fast paced road trip. We appreciated the friendly service and great dinner suggestion of the Mexican restaurant nearby.
Cleanliness and privacy. The great breakfast was an added bonus.
Comfortable beds and nice decor No air conditioning!! Just a fan to circulate air
Proximity to amenities, breakfast, cleanliness, price and location.
Staff was great, very courteous and willing to help with information. Wonderful beach and views. The beds are great. Showers were so loud that our neighbors woke us up when they got in it. Extra blanket was very obviously not cleaned at all.
Everything about it. Nothing
Clean, friendly and helpful that combined with the fabulous location and great value was unbeatable. Widows could have been cleaned .probably due however to constant ocean spray
Best thing about this hotel was definitely the incredible view of the ocean. Our room was a first floor room with a patio but it looks like every room in the place had a great view. It was awesome to be able to relax in bed and watch/listen to the ocean. There was a convenient set of stairs to walk right down to the beach and, for the money, you can't beat the location. The lamps have convenient outlets to plug in your phone chargers etc. Free wifi is pretty nice. We have been spoiled and gotten used to our memory foam mattress at home so the spring mattresses there did not provide much comfort and the pillows were to fluffy and soft for my taste. It also would have been nice to have a screen door on the sliding glass door to the patio so we could have the glass door open to listen to the ocean without letting in mosquitos/bugs. It looked like some of the rooms had screen doors so depending on which one you get it might not be a problem. No outlets on the wall with the tv which was a small issue when I tried to plug in my laptop to stream some netflix. Lastly, I would have loved a hot tub to soak in while enjoying that incredible view.
View was excellent and beds were nice. Facility could use a little up dating to the interior suites . carpets could use a good vacuuming after each persons stay.
Location Old out of date not well taken care of cand find better for your bang for your buck elsewhere
Nice beachfront location Comfortable bed Clean rooms Did not have tissues in room Towels are old Drains are slow Take your shower early or you won't have hot water
Loved the sound of the ocean all night. Incredible views. people upstairs were jumping it sounded like not much parking.
We stayed in their first floor king with patio and the view was amazing! The ocean was so close we felt like we were right on the beach. It was only a 1 min walk down the stairs to the beach. I would've rated a five but the room was a bit dated and smelled very closed in when we arrived. Luckily we just opened the patio door and the room filled with ocean breeze smell. Also they don't have any amenities like a pool, no elevator and there are 3 floors. No facility amenities. Very dated, old appliances etc.
Fireplace and view. No bathtub.
When it says ocean front it really means it. I opened my window to a stunning panorama of the Oregon coast. It is on the side of a bluff so there isn't any direct access to the beach from the hotel but about a two minute walk down the street. Would definately stay here again.
Right on the beach. Clean, comfortable rooms. Elevator available. Security. Never had room cooled to comfort. We like it 60. Even with a/c room temperature was never comfortable.
Very friendly and courteous staff, clean rooms, great view, and appealing prices... We've stayed there 2 years in a row for our anniversary :-) No complaints!
The view Parking off site. Not handicap friendly.
Clean. Room was very well maintained and spacious. Had nice Balcony on 2nd floor. Wait staff in restaurant/bar were excellent in service. We were able to check in early and leave late.
Beautiful room and view! The restaurant seemed overwhelmed, but the food was excellent

The view of the ocean is spectacular. The room, while small, was nicely decorated. The armchair in the room was very low to the floor, a little challenging for this senior citizen to get up from, but it was comfortable.
The restaurant Fathom The room was dated and mismatched furniture filled the room like they were garage sale items. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and I had the worst night sleep ever. The hallway leading to my room on the second floor smelled of animal urine.
Room was kind of cramped.

All the rooms face the ocean. It's built in the cliff side so you can get access to the beach from the 1st floor of the hotel.
The breasfast was delivered to our room at a preset time for no extra coast. No weird contanetal breakfast meetings
Room was clean and comfortable. Inn was well maintained and staff was friendly. In room breakfast is lacking. Bagel wrapped in plastic wrap, fruit wrapped in plastic and instant hot chocolate.
We loved the location and the view of the bay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very quite and allowed us a place to relax. The jacuzzi tub was huge. The continental breakfast had a nice assortment of fruit, drinks, cereal and assorted breakfast pastries. Parking was an issue for us. We returned late after seeing a movie and there was not any parking in the lot but the public lot was empty across the street. It was a busy area early in the evening due to close proximity to Moes but it was fun to sit out and people watch from the balcony.
It was very clean. And the rates were very good compared to other hotels in the area. The front desk was a little over barring. She wanted to to charge me $10 for me having my two month old. I pretty much Told her where to go because what in the world is my tiny baby going to use in the hotel? After arguing with her, she decided to let me "slide". I then looked in the guest book inside my room only to find out that children under 10 was free. So she was just pulling that info out of her behind. Then in the morning the breakfast was supposed to go until 9:30 well at 9:15 there was NOTHING left! They had cleared out the batter mix for the waffle machine and everything. So I got cereal and asked for milk and they acted like it was going to kill them to refill it. The man who was helping in the kitchen and front desk was a drill Sargent I swear. One lady who showed up to breakfast the same time I did only was able to get coffee (so she thought) when she went to turn and walk out of the breakfast area just to be yelled at by the drill Sargent. He said she can't take the coffee out of the area because of health code. Well maybe if breakfast went as long as it was supposed to then she wouldn't of had to take her coffee out of the area. He then went about his way to yell at the house keeper who was vacuuming the hallway saying "that is a Heath code to be plugged in here". Seriously!?! She was doing her job!! I stayed here two nights and every time I would see this worker I would walk the other way. Because I was scared he would find something I was doing wrong. This hotel definitely needs to work on its customer service because traveling with a 2 month old is hard enough and not feeling welcome in a place that you paid to stay is ridiculous!!
Nice room, good breakfast, friendly staff, no complaints.
Good breakfast great pool, hot tub and sauna. Comfortable beds Hotel has a library of DVD movies to rent. But $4.00 a movie is a little steep. Went to Red Box instead. $1.35.
The pool, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast.
Wonderful hotel right on the beach. Beautiful setting. The room had a kitchenette and fireplace with a spectacular view. They were one of the only hotels with stairs down to the beach. We would stay again.
The view of the ocean from our room. Nothing.
Right on the beach, balcony. Very relaxing.
The balcony overlooking the beach and crashing waves made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable! We stayed in the fireplace suite and the sleeping arrangement worked well for our young family of 5. Kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Very clean! The room decorations were lacking; there was only one picture in the entire suite. The Murphy bed and sleeper sofa are about 2 feet apart, offering very little privacy. It worked fine for our young children, but might be uncomfortable for adults.
location, helpful staff, the murphy bed. pool hours. the view. Not enough kitchen supplies. Needed baking pans, but was able to get them from the office.
It's right on the beach and had alot of room for
Very friendly staff, clean room. Pillows were uncomfortable.
Every thing. Very nice place to stay. We did not get to stay longer.
The rooms were nice. The breakfast was awful, low quality food. We reserved a King and arrived to a double queen, the attendant stated they were over booked so she moved our reservation without consulting us. Poor customer service.
Room seemed fairly clean. Bathroom had a horrible odor. The hotel was loud with people slamming doors until 3am. Very expensive for the quality of the hotel. Did not offer many amenities like shampoo or bar soap for the shower.
We booked a room with a fireplace. When we arrived and tried to turn it on it did not work. We were leaving right away for dinner so stopped by at the front desk. They asked if they could have someone fix it while we were out. When we returned later and tried it again it still didn't work. Called front desk and was told someone would be by in 15 minutes. Received a call back in a few minutes that there was no one there to fix it and it would take another hour before they could have someone look at it. They stated that it needed relit and this one happens all the time. I told them to forget about it because we were getting ready for bed. If they knew about the problem then why not fix it correctly?
Had a great breakfast every morning, friendly staff and just a short drive to the beach
We were in Lincoln City for a basketball tournament. On Sunday, the day of our check out, we had a last minute game. I called to see if we could extend our check out time to one, so I could watch the game. They gladly let us. Nothing but smiles from all the staff.
The location was great. The staff went out of their way to make it enjoyable. Rooms were clean. The beds were hard
The ability to take a morning walk on the beach (because the beach is right there) Having to leave.
Unbeatable views and beach access with the bay and ocean. Watching the tide ebb and flow was wondering peaceful. Watching the blue herons and Eagle fishing in the bay, as well as the harbor seals frolicking right from our room. Excellent friendly front desk ensuring the continental breakfast was well stocked. Loved having fridge in room. Carpets and rooms were a little old and not the cleanest, but overall not bad. Hot tub not working when we first arrived but was working next day.
Horrible parking garage Way too small shouldn't even waste space with it Tried going in with our Tundra truck and scrapped up the sides:(
comfort of room n/a
It had nice amenities and had a gorgeous view. Their key card system was broken and the manager was a bit nervous.
The location, the breakfast, and the spa, and the memories. The staff was above and beyond friendly...even when I had to call them at odd hours. The room was beautiful and I dare anyplace to have a better view. One of the windows in our room had a few cobwebs, and there was some sand in one of the corners, but the staff quickly fixed the issue.
The location was nice, right in town with pretty views The hotel was under construction, with many stairways closed off and unsightly plastic everywhere. The king size bed was comprised of 2 twin box springs, and the comfetor needed to be removed with rubber gloves! The room itself was dark and damp, and we didn't feel clean until we left. Also, the front desk wasn't manned at night, so when we forgot our key in the room it took over 30 minutes to get someone's attention to get a new one
Good location, view, friendly staff. Breakfast was all bread, cereal, waffles, etc. Would have liked to see fresh fruit, and some form of protien. Even boiled egg would have been ok.
The view was great. If you just care about a great view, stay here. Otherwise, the room furniture was so dirty I told my family not to sit on it. Carpet was awful too. Breakfast was a bunch of unhealthy carbs-nothing healthy to be had. Windows were real dirty as well which took away from the view. Would not stay again.
Clean rooms, very accommodating front desk, enjoyed our stay
The staff was nice and the hotel was clean and bright. Great location. The bed was like sleeping on a board very firm and uncomfortable and not enough towels.
The whole staff was very friendly & helpful. The desk people reeking of cigarette smoke after break. They need to stay out a little longer, & spray some breath freshener or pop a breath mint.
This place was perfect for the money. A nice, clean, comfortable, well-appointed room. Nice dark wood accents and the bed was amazingly comfortable with pillows that were hard not to want to stick in my suitcase. Ha ha. My boyfriend and I just wanted a nice, semi romantic place and this fit the bill. The breakfast was serviceable, the coffee not too shabby. The room seemed solidly built and pretty quiet. Everyone was very nice as well. Didn't get to check out the pool, but the ocean was steps away and close to lots of commerce. We also got a room with balcony facing the ocean for only $100 ,very last minute as well! The breakfast should run till 11:30am instead of 10 to accommodate those fully utilizing their vacation weekend sleep in! Otherwise it was great for the last-minute reservation.
Nice location and overall quality room. Parking is a bit difficult
Super price for a weekend night. Comfortable and great to have an elevator. Nice little ocean view. Cookies were the lowest point.. . Try a new supplier.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff, clean pool & spa.
The Otter room slept seven people which made it perfect for a small group. It's a very large suite - 800+ square feet. The full kitchen with a stove and full sized refrigerator were also nice for several people. We saw whales out the window. Some updated furniture would make this room more in the luxury category but overall we were very happy. Only 5 forks in kitchen. We had to go get more.
