Pros: Catherine was a wonderful host, very caring and provided good ideas and recommendations for dining and activities. We felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: The bathroom was tight, but very clean and adequate. It is off the beaten track, but within easy driving distance to the Marble Arch caves and Cavan Burren Park.

Cons: Decor somewhat old fashioned. Although heating on room was cold when sitting watching TV. More to do with windows. Would have preferred toiletries in small bottles than in sachets, difficult to open. Also glass tumbler in en-suite rather than plastic beaker.

Pros: The hosts were absolutely fantastic . Katherine made us feel right at home and gave us excellent advice on places to see. We had a delicious breakfast before departure and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The house and bedroom were the perfect ambient temperature which contributed to a wonderful restful sleep. I would highly recommend the Oaks.

Pros: Kathleen was a very friendly, family orientated hostess who was most accommodating and more than happy to meet our needs. My two very young grandsons were with me on the second day/night of my stay and Kathleen went to great lenghts to keep them entertained.

Pros: Spotlessly clean and as always a warm welcome. Ideal location for visits into Northern Ireland. Will certainly return.

Pros: We had the gite associated with the hotel. Travelled with two dogs and a parrot and no problems.
Cons: Kitchen needs a few more utensils to make cooking own meals a little easier but not a real problem

Pros: The rooms were clean with comfortable beds The breakfast was very good The location is good for travellers. Quiet despite being on main road
Cons: The power shower in one room is quite feeble and the shower cubicle needs repair or replacement The restaurant is under new management and is an asset but hours are 8.00 (9.00 on Sundays) to 17.00. So if you want an early breakfast or evening meal you will have to travel elsewhere.

Cons: Breakfast not served until 8.15. This was to late so although I paid for breakfast for two nights I didn’t get any or didn’t get any discount.

Pros: On a couple of occasions, I got tepid or cold baked beans at breakfast, and ordered tea but had to ask for some milk. The staff were not very communicative, which I guess may be because they have limited English
Cons: For the first two days, my bin was not emptied and the milk not replaced in the room.

Cons: Woken up at 4 oclock in the morning by people talking very loudly in the corridor. Also bed kept moving.
