Pros: Wonderful location. Free parking is always available. Very good breakfast, which will meet all possible needs.
Cons: Wifi is somehow poor, but I think this is because of the thickness of walls in the old building.
Pros: really friendly owners and very clean and great breakfast and FULLY equiped kitchen. really great location for thermal baths and reduced entry tickets at reception.
Cons: double bed was two singles together so there was a gap which on a romantic weekend can be annoying
Pros: All things was great. I can recommend .
Cons: Wi-fi doesn´t work.

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: good breakfast included
Cons: when you book the suites which are on the 3rd floor then you only can use the lift to the 2 nd floor. Nobody offered us help with the luggage so it was quite heavy to carry them up. No aircondition, nobody explained us if there is one.
Pros: Any request was immediately taken care of (late check out, special request for poppy seed item at breakfast -after all, this is what the area is/was famous for (Mohnzelten or Mohnstrudel). Warm welcome at reception and nice welcome amenities in room
Cons: Some hooks for bath towels in bathroom would be great and -going forward re. climate change -Aircon in rooms
Pros: Staff professionalism and friendliness.
Pros: This was my 3rd stay at the Hotel Goldener Stern! I have really enjoyed the food and location of the hotel, which is in the city center about a 10 minute walk from the train station, and a 5 minute walk from the Czech border. A special feature that I appreciate is that the contents of the mini bar are gratis. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and make the guests feel at home.I look forward to future visits.
Pros: Very good restaurant. It closes at 21h30.
Pros: The staff and the food. The sauna area for a relaxing afternoon. It was small but ideal for two people. We only had to use our motorbikes to get to the hotel and home again. There was so much to do within walking distance of the hotel.
Pros: Very relaxing and 1st. Class hotel
Cons: Too short a stay

Pros: No soap for hands, very small double bed. Breakast two rolls with honey and butter, coffee and juice is way too much. One part of the coffee shop is a smoking, the other one non smoking but with the door open so cold.
Cons: Breakfast very poor in my opinion, smoking room next to it is quite horrible.
Pros: very clean room, excellent value for money.
Pros: Very good breakfast, comfortable beds, free parking, clean room, close to Sole therme, playground in the restaurant
Cons: coffee not so good

Pros: Check in clean room and very good breakfast
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: Room new and clean. Private Parking
Cons: Check in no English language, only German The bed was too soft..Very difficult to sleep well. Breakfast Basic. No croissant, no cakes. 90 euro is no a good balance quality/money for this area.
Pros: Easy to find. Price included parking and breakfast
Cons: Not enough toilet paper available
Pros: Delicious breakfast, friendly staff and nice clean room.
Pros: Very pleased with the room, fully recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice comfortable stay in this area.
Cons: The things I would suggest to improve are the WiFi signal strength and the TV channels for evening relax.
Pros: The room was clean and the breakfast variety was great.
Pros: a nice place to spend a couple of quiet nights. the room was big and had a good shower and the breakfast good also .it is about 12 mins walk into the centre where i only found two places to eat and four for a drink .
Cons: the car park is in a back lane to the football pitch with lots of loose gravel i had to be careful on my motor cycle .
Pros: For us, worked well.
Cons: Room was really too cramped for comfort. But, it was quiet and we slept fine! :-)
Pros: There were a lot of choices for the breakfast, fresh vegetables, fruits and bread. You can get a discount for the Therme. The rooms are very clean and newly furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is only a 15min walk from the centre.
Cons: The mattress. It was completely worn down and therefore very uncomfortable. As well, I had a room with the window to the street and it was very loud, when the window was open. Unfortunately in summer it was very hot, so you had to decide to not be able to sleep because of the heat in the room or the noise of the street because of the open window.
Situated in Hoheneich, 46 km from České Budějovice, Pension Hoheneich boasts a restaurant, bar, an indoor playing area, and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. The functionally furnished budget rooms include a private bathroom. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is offered. You can play billiards at the guest house. Gmünd is 2.6 km from Pension Hoheneich, while Nové Hrady is 18 km away. Blue Danube Linz Airport is 86 km from the property.
Pros: Rooms here are very humble, and somewhat worn out, but absolutely adequate in terms of furniture condition, size and cleanliness to this budget point. The main feature, however, is the huge entertainment indoor park for kids. Facility of this scale we haven't seen even at many fold more expensive and explicitly children friendly hotels. Our kids fell in love with it and it was very convenient to have a back-up plan to outdoor activities in case of bad weather.
Cons: Lack of breakfast buffet. With very few coffee houses in this small town we had to always plan ahead and buy some sandwiches and snacks in grocery stores the day before to have something to eat early in the morning before hitting the road. Also, anemic and balled up pillows alongside synthetic bed linen made sleeping too uncomfortable to our liking.
