The beautiful nature arround hotel augustiner kloster, the nice room, the spa, the very good breakfast, the staff was very helpfull. When i looked at the picture of the kloster i thought the kloster was situated in in quiet space, but is is in the middle of the center of Hillesheim, not so bad after all because you can also enjoy the small city of "krimi" Hillesheim. At our arrival we wanted to book a nordic walking workshop but that was not possible at that time, that was a pitty. But we did the wanderung in bolsdorfer talchen on our own and we really enjoyed it. Especially the cafe mit kuchen at am alten backhaus
The room is very spacious. Some of the staff do not understand English.
Very spacious and clean room, beautifully decorated with bright ( whites and beige) colors. Quiet location, the charming village of Hillesheim is worth exploring. The surroundings are beautiful and invite to make long walkings. The ( full) breakfast is very good, People are friendly, service is excellent. no.
the peace and quiet
Good location, friendly personal, excellent breakfast! The room was wide and equipted with all necessary stuff. The toalet was not very clean
The views were outstanding, and the room was superb.
The Schlosshotel Berghaus Kronenburg was a delightful treat. Staff are charming and the atmosphere is gracious and relaxed. The village is ancient, charming and friendly. Room was well appointed with character. Food and service were very good. The room reservation was a small problem. An error resulted in sharing a suite with two bedrooms rather than two seperate rooms. The staff were very accomodating and the arrangements were satisfactory.
The room was luxurious and even included a sauna in the bathroom! The food was gourmet and the service was impeccable. We loved everything so much that we booked a second night while we were there!
Great suite, with private sauna, very comfortable, nice beds, kind staff, and the location is absolutely stunning, especially the village itself. Restaurant, also Orangerie, is very pricy for the quality you get. Parking is a problem to be solved. We weren't warned about the Christmasfair around the hotel and had to walk 1 km up hill with our luggage. Also, the navigation sends you the wrong way, as mentioned before - would be a good idea to put a sign there.
fantastic veiws good food neat and interesting rooms nice and helpfull staff
The hotel was recently renovated so all furniture and fittings were new. The location was lovely and the pool was a welcome bonus. There is no internet anywhere other than the lobby area; hotel staff are difficult to find at times and thus service is erratic. There are no English speaking channels on the television. The restaurant food was reasonable but the fixed menu had no choice and on our second evening was very disappointing. The service in the restaurant was unbelievably slow!
Nice rooms, beautiful location, very friendly personnel No wifi the rooms
Great environment, lovely room, charachteristic hotel, beautifully renovated, delcious dinner and extensive breakfast. Staff very friendly. Very small parking
The breakfast was really good, the rooms were very beutiful. the room was lacking a bit of daylight, but that's normal in a castle i guess
Kronenburg! Very nice place to stay for some days, the old houses, the castle, very quiet, a lot to see and do in the area. Maybe there should be heating in the floor in the bathroom.
Friendly staff and good food at reasonable prices.
