This was a great place well placed to town and the plateau above to see the balloons early in the morning. The room was superb and breakfast wonderful. The staff promised us a packaged breakfast but forgo which is not a big thing but also forgot to tell us that the dining room was only available for dinner by arrangement. Otherwise everything was superb.
To live in a cave with modern amenties and luxuries. The ambience of the suite was wonderful. The breakfast was very nominal. It could be made more interesting!
The hotel is among the best in Gerome area and our room was a lovely cave room with a beautiful terrace. Though we checked in at 9pm there was no food available as the restaurant was closed and it is a really steep hill to navigate to reach the town for every meal. The restaurant hardly functions and room service is not really available, even for a simple coffee or ice cream. The breakfast spread was good but could have more cooked items.
The hotel manager was very accommodating and offered to drive us to local tourist spots like the Open Air Museum, which was very helpful. His pride in Cappadocia and the hotel were infectious. He was friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and the setting was awe inspiring. We couldn't use a credit card to check out because the machine didn't work. Had a challenge getting someone to help with our bags for early morning departure.
Do not stay here. If you're willing to argue about the rate after you've pre-confrimed it and have absoultely horrible service then stay here. The service. Full stop they try to overchage you for everything, including the room rate.
Everything, the athmosphere, the staff, the owner was very nice, April 3 was the birthday of my husband and he did a cake and sang for him. The place is spectacular, very beautiful decored. There is lack of closets and it was a bit difficult to organize our clothes.
We love the hotel, very beatiful and the nice view
wonderful position, very nice staff. the room was great!
The construction and layout of the hotel is excellent The service was slightly impersonal.
Our room was upgraded on arrival to a cave suite. The room was excellent. The hotel was in an ideal situation right in amongst the fairy chimneys. Price - We met 2 other guests who were also upgraded room on arrival, however, they had paid Eur 60 for their room. We actually paid Eur 120. I questioned this on check out and was told that we had been upgraded. I did try to pursue this issue to no avail.
The friendly staff made booking excursions very simple and easy. They also assured easy transport to and from venues. The rooms are absolutely lovely with cave characteristics. Above average breakfast buffet. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone. It could be a difficult place to stay for a person with walking and stair climbing disabilities.
The log fire in the beautiful cave hotel room THE owner and his wife were very helpfull and friendly
Sipping my coffee in the morning chill with a fire on the hearth in my room, a book in my hand and looking out the open door of my room, which was a cave carved in the side of a mountain, at a sky filled with hot air balloons. Stunningly beautiful
The location and atmosphere of this hotel was amazing - the cave rooms had fire places as well.
Friendly staff. Comfortable, interesting, well-furnished rooms
It was a beautiful hotel with attentive staff and a great view.
Just a beautiful location, spacious very clean rooms. We could not have been more pleased.
Great place, the rooms are amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The hotel resotrant has very good food at very reasonable prices. It is even better than the pictures and that is not common in Turkey.
The rooftop lounge on what is already one of the highest points in town is magic. The room retains a fairly constant comfortable temperature compared to outside. The plumbing leaves a bit to be desired in that the shower does not drain quick enough.
The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served on the terrace and was also excellent. The location is good - right in the middle of the town and no hills to climb.
Nice big bed, good breakfast, helpful friendly staff who were able to book us in for a great balloon flight.
Friendly staff, not intrusive. Quiet and relaxing. Very clean.
Stone House Cave Hotel is a new and clean room. Especially I liked that the bathroom and toilet were clean as it's one of the most important points when evaluate hotels. Breakfast is not buffet-style, everything was greatly served.
The hotel is very pleasant, the staff is hotel manager is helpful and the location is very good, close to the Göreme open Museum. The breakfast is excellent.
The set up was very nice outside. Lounging there is great. Also nearby city center and mountain top to watch the hot air ballon launches. Hotel ppl knew a lot about local trips and trans services to the airport. Overall made planning easier. Rooms were muggy sometimes, so a/c would make the hotel the best ever experience.
Service is very good. The boss is very nice. Best place in our trip.
The staff were incredible; Both Mustafa and Cem gave us their personal cell numbers incase we ever needed anything when away from the hotel. They were very helpful and provided assistance whenever they could. The rooms were very big and clean and the beds were comfortable. Although the breakfast was delicious, the selection was a little limited.
This is a family run hotel, which was previously Mustafa's family home he grew up in. His son Cem runs the hotel and they are a lovely, friendly family. They are very welcoming and will go out of their way to help you. The rooms are very beautiful and they retain family keepsakes. We highly recommend this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay
everything is fantastic, highly recommended.
A lovely, family-run hotel. Mustafa, his family & staff do not scrimp on working to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. Mustafa´s experience in the hotel trade shines through. His attention to detail and friendliness set Aydinli apart from other hotels at this price level.
Extremely courteous and helpful owner and other members, antique look of the cave dwelling, food and the location everything was excellent . A unique experience.
Mustafa and his son, Cem were very helpful and lovely people. They recommended alternative walks for us to do and even dropped us off at the start of these! My husband received a fantastic birthday cake with breakfast and we were looked after very well.Breakfast was always plentiful and very fresh and our room was beautiful. Nothing we did not like.
Amiable owners, very clean and nice ficilities and perfect for the turkey cave country Hot water a litle slow in arriving
Lovely position, high on the hill with good view, no noise and easy walk into town.
good location to see the beautiful paysage of Goreme
Great location on top of the hill in Goreme. Our room was cave-like but all the hotels in the area seemed to be like this. They were quite responsive The owner seems like a lovely man but is grumpy. Their credit card facilities didn't work but they did not inform us until checkout. Breakfast was very boring and the fruit was terrible considering they live in an area where the produce is fantastic due to the volcanic ash in the soil. There was a 'mini bar' in our room but the fridge did not work!
Amazing cave hotel, at very good price.
The rooms were very nice, and the waiter was very polite and helpfull the hotel did not get any sun at all, and we booked a trip through the hotel and found out that 50% had been added to the cost, so it would seem that someone was making a lot of commission from us.
location was good. if you are going to cappadocia stay in cave hotels as its speciality of the cappadocia !!! Tourist hotel dont have cave rooms..
Mixed feelings about this hotel. Price is very good compared with the quality of the Hotel and it's facility (although the airco lacks capacity when it is really hot). Also the breakfast and dinner buffet are great. However the hotel management has lost touch with their clients. The general tourist (family) do not want the latest rap noise (we cannot call it music) at 120 db at the swimming pool. Also management has decided to compensate the low room price with exorbitant prices for drinks at the pool and the minibar. At first prices looked OK, till we found out is was Euro's instead of TL. To make sure this pricing model works they have a strict policy on bringing in your own drinks from outside. We can understand this for bringing drinks at the pool and restaurants, but it gets a little awkward if they appose on taking a bottle of mineral water to your room.
Great location & views & pool. Rude & un friendly at reception should not be in hotel industry.Dining room staff fine. Airconditioning in room poor.
good concierge service, next to site of interests poor customer relationships, rooms are clearly in need of modernising.
This is a very nice hotel! Our room was probably the best in the hotel, a corner room on first floor with a beautiful view of the pool and the surrounding nature. The staff were all friendly and serviceminded, but I will especially mention the staff in the reception for being helpful, and polite. They also spoke good english!
