Very luxurious and stylish decorated. Friendly staff. Restaurant facilities (menu & quality of food) are better than in comparable other Spanish hotels. Hotel is close to Pamplona and to the Pyrenees, also the beach (San Sebastian) is within reach.
The very limited ability of the staff to speak English. Not all restaurant staff had a level of expertise that was expected for such a hotel.
Showers were excellent
Restuarant was smoking allowed we had to make special arrangements to eat in the bar and the food was very very poor.
incredible spa experience!
Employees has trouble speeking english
Gorraiz opened one year ago it without a doubt has the finest rooms beats even the best luxury youll find in las vegas or anywhere the entire hotel is done with exquisite taste including lobby and bar and library sitting area---the spa is superb-----the only downer was that the supposed gatronomic resto was horrible we returned our meal in a second slow cooked lamb which in spain is normally great it was inedible!!!! this hotel is owned by a family that had a large resto and catering business---they bought an old castle to do weddings and added the hotel to the side of the castle their focus seems to be weddings the day we were there they had 3 wedding parties in the castle but they seem to have no interest in serving great meals in the hotel we will say however that their breakfast included in the price of the room was the best weve ever had---the golf course right next to them is professional tour course and the hotel will get you a special price--great great htoel but dont eat in the gastronomic room--go to bar and have a sandwich----robert and dana ornsteen
Great location to relax in. Nice atmosphere.
All hotels I've stayed in have included complimentary use of the SPA facilities. We had to pay extra to use this one and it was restricted to 2 hours. Also, no proper swimming pool seems a little strange to me in a SPA hotel with plenty of space around the grounds.
No Internet access
Rooms were very well furnished, it was quiet and comfortable
