The staff were so helpful and kind, nothing was too much trouble.
The staff were so friendly and the hotel is tastefully decorated. Very convenient to all of quimpers interesting sights. Highly recommend.
Breakfast expense...can 't eat enough to break even
The rate was too expensive the call the room deluxe but does not exist the minibar incredible bouffet breakfast very faschion but just few things No wifi in the room
Good location for Quimper centre. Clean room. Parking. Breakfast buffet was good, but a bit expensive at 13 euros. Paying for the parking. Lift very small, had to remove foot plates to get the wheelchair in the lift. The minimalist style ment there was no atmosphere.
I asked for a quiet room and got one on the top floor at the back, overlooking a forested hill across the river. The room was very stylish in cream and black. The entire hotel is very elegant modern and classy yet underpriced. The breakfast was excellent and the very friendly staff speak excellent English. The dreamlike enchanted town is a stonesthrow away - all very safe and easy to walk through - great restaurants and lovely friendly locals.
The room was spacious and clean. The hotel personnel was polite and helpful. The breakfast is average (extra cost for fresh orange juice or boiled egg). There is also an extra cost for the parking.
Staff were very helpful and professional and breakfast was very good
The staff were very friendly and helpful especially a staff member called Stanislas. There was not an English speaking TV station on the TV.
The room was excellent, the decor is fantastic, we really enjoyed the comfort, and the owner was also very nice. We definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff of the hotel was very helpful in all our problems. Moreover, the last day there was not hot water and in compensation they did not charge me the breakfast of the last day. The hotel has rooms for only one person but they are not offered in the booking webpage.
This is a really lovely hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in a junior suite which was beautiful and very comfortable. We were just disappointed we couldn't stay longer!
The price we paid through yourselves was a fair bit higher than the price being offered on a big board outside the hotel for the entire length of our stay. The staff refused to reduce the price we paid to the price being offered to people walking off the street. It makes us suspicious of advance booking with yourselves if it means we finish up paying a higher price
There was no connection in the bathroom for the electric razor
The hotel was very nicely renovated, very good quality showeroom ensuites. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was very nice and not expensive. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as 12euro each for a family of five seemed expensive especially as the room rate was reasonable, but the cafe at the supermarket next door is good and we walked over to breakfast there.
Really very good hotel with motivated/ trained staff and well equipped facilities by the time when we were there second time I was negatively suprised by very poor breakfast service (no spoons and forks , no plates and some kind of mess . The only excuse I can see that they served for very big group of japaneese . But this very little exuse for good hotel . I guess that good hotel (as Oceania is ) should predict such things before it happened
hotel room was very clean there was no refridgerater
The decor of the room, especially the shower. The restaurant evening menu does not have enough choice
Good swimming pool. Within walking distance of town centre. Quite a good breakfast. Very good bedroom and bathroom Understaffed Attitude of some of staff at reception
Our triple room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Decor was good too. It's a little difficult to find.
The helpfulness of the reception staff The smell of the rooms - you could smell the drains - I paid more money for a good hotel so did not expect to smell the drains would have liked a more comforable chair in the room to relax
modern & clean building, lots of parking space, close to super market, nice restaurant receptionist didn't speak English at all at checking in
The hotel is in a rather old building, but on the other hand all the rooms have been quite well renewed. Personell is very friendly and helpfull.
The excellent service of everyone at the hotel, the comfortability, and good taste of the rooms. It was a very nice experience staying there. The best hotel in Quimper. The hotel has no lift but if anyone has a problem there are good rooms in the ground floor too.
Superb Staff running a very clean and comfortable hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Hotel is very convenient for access to the major sites of Quimper.
Family run hotel with helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent.
Nice staff, god location. None
Courtesy of staff, cleanliness of the room, secondary matters like absenceof magnifying mirror for shaving in bathroom and wi-f malfunctioning in the room but impeccable in the lobby
Room, staff and breakfast were excellent
The location was great. The room was very pleasant, nicely decorated and situated overlooking a garden courtyard. The staff was pleasant. The parking was difficult. The breakfast room was austere.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and welcoming hotel No restaurant, Parking limited
Very helpful staff and well run with personal attention to detail. Charming rooms and very clean. Beautiful breakfast. Great location to walk to old town and see sights and enjoy restaurants. Very quiet room to charming interior patio. Loved it!
Excellent lunch staircase with heavy luggage!
The rooms were situated in a motel style, the bedding was fresh and clean. Lack of space, basic accomodation , poor facilites,
Comfortable room and clean. Good location. We had requested an additional bed for my youngest child (age 6) which they could not do and we had not been advised prior to arriving.
The bar was very cosy...thats small to normall people, the barman was helpfull. When I checked out drinks had been added to my bill, they were cleared off when I questioned it, however this could be stopped by signing for your evening exps at the time of leaving the restaurant!! A lot of people dont check their bills is this a way of increasing hotel revenue??
It was a good area for us exploring beautiful parts of Brittany with our car We were glad we had transport, or would have found it a bit quiet as when we returned in the evening, no one seemed to be in the bar.
Staff is really welcome It smells like hell.
Everything was good apart from the comments below which made it very poor value for money The noise--you could hear everything from other rooms and guests were coming in and making a noise at all hours.we were unable to sleep satisfactually throughout our stay
Pretty, clean and quite rooms (but small), nice garden room, good hotel restuarant (works till 10p.m.). Private parking with pleanty spaces. Location is good if travel by car. Overall impression is very good. 30 min walk to town center, 5 min by car. No acsess to nearby beach as it belongs to Cathedral.
The bed was too short.
Frindly morning staff and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located in a commercial area of Quimper (see below) but is in good location for coast at Benodet. Three failings - one serious, the others less so. Despite the hotel being advertised by Booking.com as having a restaurant, we were informed on arrival that it was closed Fri - Sun during the winter season (Oct - Mar). We had specifically booked a hotel with restaurant as we were on a tight time schedule. The hotel is advertised as having free wireless internet - this is incorrect as you have to pay. In addition the hotel, in a commercial area, is hard to find at night as there is no illuminated sign at its entrance and the area is badly lit.
Cheap, Clean and Excellent value for money!Location superb as a Brittany base.
The manager, Sebastien, was very friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure our needs were met. The breakfast was excellent for this basic type of hotel. We stayed in a ground floor room for 3 people incorporating a "wet-room" with folding doors at the side of the room. It was very difficult to contain the water from the shower in the shower area and consequently the floor of the bedroom became quite wet and slippy.
The beds are to hard
24H-Checkin-Automat; the hotel is ok for that price, staff very friendly! The city centre is not 5 minutes away from the hotel, only by car! We walked more than 1 hour with our baggage. Thin walls; Toilet/WC-Box.
very helpful staff, wifi, parking.
The staff were helpfull and the hotel is well located to explore the region. The room was sold as a triple room, for 3 people it was very small and would have been more suited to one person. The shower room was also extreemly small, making the use of it rather uncomfortable.
Breakfast was excellent value.
Friendly and helpful staff, easy to find, nice location/access. Hotel room interior to some extent weared out.
Cheap Very very basic.
Hotel was readily located&close to a number of places to eat. I liked the quick check in-no fuss Didnt like the room size and proximity to residential housing
It was a easy place to stay on route from Brest airport. Did not have any curtains and we coudn't check in until after 6 as there was no staff about.
Clean, value for money hotel in an attractive village near Brest Staff were very attentive and helpful at all times.
Hotel very quiet situated in a very nice old little town with a good restaurant. No problem for parking the car.Very interesting surroundings. A lift would be appreciated by old people.
Well located and comfortable.
The lobby is pleasant. It's close to the centre. The bedrooms are very cramped and the first one we were offered had a view overlooking a dirty blank wall! To be fair, they offered us another - in the attic. Bedroom fittings are cheap and functional - Compared with the Hotel Oceania we stayed in in Brest this hotel comes very low by comparison! I would not return.
Frankly we were very disappointed having stayed in you excellent Art Deco hotel in Brest. So there was not much we liked. See below. Location opposite the Police Station and a busy road did not help sleep. On our first night we opted to stay in for dinner. First course quite acceptable. But main course (Chef recommended steak) was a disaster. We asked for medium steak but got rare. Sent it back and it was then inedible. Pudding very dull. I mentioned this to the young lady in charge. She said that no one else complained so it must have been alright. When the subject of customer satisfaction came up she told me that customers were wrong and she and the hotel were right. At that point I thoght it best to avoid further communication. Breakfast, when compared with your Brest Hotel was dull, uninteresting and presented with labour saving devices.
Good location in the city centre, good room size and pricing Room and furniture a bit tired
Nice friendly staff. Nice room.
At reasonable price, located near the old city center, this hotel is Very good! Bath room is wide, clean, and comfortable.
Being in the center of the city and at walking-distance therefore. It was my fault : I did not know until after our departure that breakfast was free for one person each morning. I would have sent my daughter down every morning. I was charged for my own breakfast (1st day/only time).
Central location Nothing
facilities for tea/coffee in room would be good also, a hairdryer...
That we could place our cycles in the office-room That we couldn't place our car in the nearby garage, that the hotel has't got special places reserved for it.
Very friendly staff!!! Late parking a bit tricky but fine! good breakfast and thanks for the free one Only one soap for a twin room? Wall outside the window but ok for two night.
One of the nicest places we have stayed at in France, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bathroom was spacious with a good shower and lots of hot water, the bed comfortable and our room had a patio to sit out on. At night it is very peaceful and we heard no noise at all from other guests.
Stunning old building, excellent rooms, good food and very helpful staff. Location good for visiting attractions in area
Interesting old manor house Rooms need to be re-renovated - but then they were cheap
There was a single fixed menue each night that we knew about in advance so could make plans if it didnn't meet our tast. The food and service on a whole was excellent except for coffee service. One night we had to wait 45 minutes and another 30 after desert was finished to get our coffee order placed. Notheing, some from the USA might find the location a challange.
Our room was comfortable and spacious with wonderful views over the countryside. The dinners were excellent we were a litle dissapointed with the breakfasts we felt could have been more substantial for 12 euros withiut having to pay extra for more choice. The staff and the owners worked tirelessly and are very professional and wew hope to stay there again. We were surprised at the lack of detail about this hotel on the website when booking, the difference in the bedrooms could have been clearer.
staff is friendly . Surrounded by mountain view...nice place to relax and rest. Not sufficient information about the location of the hotel. Hard to reach without good car navigation.
It was the highlight room of my trip. Staying on the grounds of a chateau near the picturesque town LoCronan could not be any more than perfect! Our room was so cozy and inviting with a bathroom that Americans can enjoy! Shower has power!! :) Breakfast and dinner is served in the chateau which is excellent. The owners' were so very kind and helpful when needed. I will always stay on these grounds shall I ever get the chance to come back to beautiful Brittany!
It was a well run family hotel
Very relaxing country stay with delicious dinners. Owner/manager very kind and helpful.
Beautiful hotel, grounds and scenery; entrance direct into room; separate toilet; tea/coffee making facilities; safe parking; convenient for exploring region. The bed was not too comfortable and the room a little stuffy. Would benefit from using quilts and having a safety mesh on window so that you could open it at night.
Nature is great and beautyful The beach was a bit boring -
Hotel staff is very "at home" type and kind. Hotel is not far from beach and room has enough space and clean rooms. If you stay long term, this place is nice. This is not hotel type. So it is good to stay some nights but not good for one night stay. There is no amenity goods (bed sheets, towels, shampoo, etc).
This was a wonderful location and the apartment was superb----built to very high standards. it was exceptionally clean with dishwasher and washing machine too. adjoining restaurant served excellent crepes and drinks. superb location for families as well as older couples like us. we were there at the end of june ,but I would imagine that the resort will become very busy in high season. the nearby beach is delightful. fabulous holiday!! It is advisable to take your own bed sheets, pillowcases and towels. these can be provided though for a small charge.
Excellent location to explore the west and south of Brittany. Nice seaview (terrace). 5' from beachside. Basic comfort but very clean. 6 beds, but only 1 enclosed bedroom. Was not apparent from info on the side
Close to the beach This is Self Catering Accomodation not a hotel. Linen had to be hired. Rooms withe very sloping ceilings and not easy for tall people. Resturant already closed- early September. Web site description did not match the real situation.
excellent creperie with some newly built appartments to let, have been upgraded to first floor appartment with terrasse with sea view which was excellent, excellent kitchen equipment, clean, very friendly host, excellent galettes ;-) price for the rooms on ground floor would be too high (two very small windows only)
The people running the hotel were very welcoming and helpful, room spacious, comfortable and all close to town centre.
I was very happy with my staying at this hotel.
Very comfortable beds, large rooms, nice breakfast, own parking garage, close to town centre and cathedral, good value. Very pleasant staff, but best if you speak some French. Oddly: lack of a shower curtain over the bath, so floor gets wet!
Ease of access and a decent view from our room. Generally, hotel breakfast rooms are pretty poor and this one proved the rule. The push button coffee machine must be the worst invention ever.
It's convenience to city center and wonderful breakfasts.
Central hotel to where I wanted to be
Hotel was in good location to explore city and attractions. No Air Con.
The location was excellent. We could walk to shops and restaurants. The parking garage was small, but we were able to park there throughout our stay. We asked for a triple room. The room we got was actually a double with a twin bedded loft. The loft was hot and the street outside was very noisy, especially with the windows open.
Dinner, Bed & Breakfeast, all okay found dinner very enjoyable.
easy to find near a big road junction. ok for an overnight stop en route to somewhere else. clean tiny, dated rooms, could do with updating
The staff was very helpful.
The staff were friendly, the cuisine was varied and tasty and the location was easy to access
Internet not realy
Very fair rates, good breakfast, friedly staff, good facilities (restaurant and parking etc) The location in an industrial area (but it did not matter, the centre of Quimper is only a 10 min drive away).
Convenient stopover when exploring Brittany. WiFi available. Small bathroom, breakfast a bit too expensive.
Room was clean and staff were friendly The standard of English was not high amongst the staff that were on duty during my stay but maybe I should put myself out and learn some more french!!!!
meals and breakfast particulary good
The rooms were quite the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good
