The central position, close to the main high street and station.
The hotel is lovely, the staff was very helpful and nice, and the room was attractive and had many amenities. The free continental breakfast was quite nice and very welcome. Also, the hotel is very close to shops, restaurants, cafes, etc., being in the charming downtown area of Kalavrita. The beautiful ski resort is about 14 km away, and the drive there was good. The room was very nice but the temperature was too warm, and we could not turn it down effectively. Also, the promotional information said there was some onsite parking, but we only saw street parking and no available parking spaces on the same street as the hotel. Also, the hotel is very near the local church, so bells rang often and loudly.
Proximity to town facilities and railway station Service did not come with a smile
The room's patio overlooking downtown Kalavryta and the free breakfast. The staff smoked constantly and the smell found its way up to the room. Also, they have wireless internet, but it's 5 euros for 90 minutes and not free as the hotel's website might lead one to believe. The razor that was provided with the room was rusty and there were other signs that things might not have been as clean as they appeared.
Street noise was a problem
Restaurant staff were obliging when my daughter asked for a Greek Coffee every morning. Spotless cotton sheets on bed and lovely clean towels.Location very good for getting about. Breakfast: Fried eggs, omelettes, sausages never warm enough to eat even though we were early (08.00 am) to breakfast. Street Noise: My daughter was awoken by street noise early every morning.
Location of the hotel. Had booked two single rooms and we were pleasantly surprised to be given two good sized rooms. It was hard to find any staff when we came to check out and we did not find them particularly helpful or friendly.
You have only two hotels in kalavryta, this one is fair enough. We stayed for 1 night in september. Wireless internet did not work from the room.
Nice but very small rooms.
Lovely, well restored old house with a great taste of the owner. Love for details, kind of old fashioned in a positive way combined with quality and modern equipment. Owner very flexible in terms of check-in and breakfast time. We had no warm water due to some malfunction in the system. Taking care of these "situations" in advance could help avoiding the spoiling of the good overall impression.
Very warm welcome from the reception. Real nice breakfast arrangement.
Superb hotel, in a wonderful location. Very romantic room, traditional decoration, warm and cozy. Sonia was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast! We had a great time, and will be definitely coming back.
Cosy bedroom and charming woody interior. Breakfast is very satisfying too.
Kefalari is realy lovely and peacefull village amoung the mountens. The hotel and the room are beautiffly furnished and the breakfast is plenty and dellicious! We spent a really wonderfull time here! the Lady does not speak English at all, but it was very funny
Traditional Greek old house fully restored, placed into a very quiet and remote area.
beatifull room on a beautifull location everything was perfect
Beautifully renovated small hotel. The detail and decor were great. A GPS is a must to find the place. It's about 20 minutes from the Korinthos ruins. No tour buses!
The hotel stuff was very nice and helpful, we felt very welcome and all our special requests were kindly met. The room was spacy and the balcony and the view from it was great! The mountainious area around is definetily something worth visiting, absolutely beautiful! We all enjoyed our stay very much!
We liked the pool a lot, the fresh air, the large room with the comfortable beds and the good breakfast. The location of the hotel is poor, but if you do not mind of the bad road network you can visit great surroundings, like the cave of lakes or planitero village. The hotel is a good place to isolate and relax for the summer period and surely it is more alive on winter time We didn't like that, though the hotel was almost empty, we were originally given a bad room, with a very small bathroom and furniture that looked like they were bought from an old country hospital. Thankfully after our request and the kindness of a very polite employee, named Evdokia, we were given another room that was much better and spacier. The rooms also do not have a private air condition unit but a central one, which didn't work well, plus the fridge has very low cooling power.Last, opposite of the hotel, there was a small construction site which was noisy and dusty during the day.
We stayed at the hotel for one night and our impressions are really good. The staff is very polite, the rooms are nice and clean, the bed is big and very comfortable. The view from the hotel is great. The hotel is suitable for families who would like to have a quiet rest in the mountains. The bathroom is too small and the curtains inside are quite old and not clean.
A nice hotel located conveniently in a nice village close to ski centers, caves, rivers with rafting activities. Decent clean rooms with a large pool and very good management as well as skilled staff. Maybe some more variety in the breakfast and a renovation in the rooms
