I stayed at the hotel to help my mother who had suffered from heart problems while on holiday there. All of the staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful. They were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and they really went above and beyond to help in what was a very challenging situation for my father.
- rooms were comfortable, clean and modern; - grounds were well kept and attractive; - great view from the restaurant terrace; - staff were fantastic; - food was much better than we expected for all inclusive and was available more or less all day; - fruit bowl in the room and glass of bubbles of arrival were a nice touch; - local buses were great for getting into around.
There wasn’t much we didn’t like but... - ‘beach’ area was great for sunbathing but not so appealing for swimming. Although the view across the bay to the church was lovely; - extra fee to use the safe in the room; - swimming pools only open between 1000 and 1800 hours.
The place itself is beautiful. Small villas, the sea is quiet, very old olive trees, very peaceful area (in October). The territory of the hotel is big, so you can even do jogging. Kids are running around, it's safe. The view is amazing. It's easy to go to neighbour places either by bus or by taxi. It's possible to rent a car in a hotel.
Coffee. Food in general didn't meet our expectations. Some facilities (playground and minigolf) could be renewed.
Beautiful vantage point, and we were upgraded into the most beautiful bungalows right by the sea ! The staff were super helpful and friendly, we could not fault the service. Even though it is a big hotel it never feels like it is, because the grounds are very cleverly set out. The food was good and drinks plentiful! Our flights home were late in the day after we had checked out, so we were offered a room to have a shower in before we left for the airport, which was really good. It meant we relaxed round the pool without worrying about getting too hot and sweaty!
The only thing that let the whole place down was the wasps. There were so many wasps around the square pool and the main restaurant during breakfast and lunch time. It really wasn’t very pleasant. I don’t know if this is a resort problem or a problem on the island but it is making us question if we want to return again
Cottage was quiet and comfortable. Good air-con. Nice to have a bar fridge and tea/coffee available. Good variety/themes for dinner each night.
All inclusive does not accommodate non alcohol drinking guests .i.e no alcohol free beers, no mocktails. Breakfast needs a more personal approach e.g. order eggs/ omelettes as per your preference. Lunch at the pool is sub-standard. Gardens and pool (by the sea) need some TLC.
This Corfu property is on the beach, 2.1 mi (3.3 km) from Dassia Beach, and within 6 mi (10 km) of Port of Corfu and Ipsos Beach. Barbati Beach and Aqualand are also within 6 mi (10 km).
