Nice homely establishment Decor left a lot to be desired
Very nice refurbished hotel with excellent value for money, especially when booking the suite, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms; ideal for families!
This is an beautiful, recently refurbished hotel, a real taste of rural France. When you book on the internet you always take a chance but we were really pleased with our stay. We got 2 lovely rooms to accomodate our family ( 3 kids) . We ate in the restaurant (no other option in this small town) and the food was very good. Although the kids menu was limited they went out of thier way to find something for my somewhat fussy 13 year old. Even had free wifi in the reception.Overall I could not recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic little hotel, tucked away in a very quiet village. We did not get chance to sample the menu but it looked superb and from talking to others is excellent.Breakfasts were delightful and the staff could not have been more welcoming. In an area where there are not many hotels this is a brilliant find.
An excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were a pleasure to meet, being efficient, friendly and English speaking, Although our room was small it was beautifully presented. The hotel had a lovely terrace to relax on, with car parking across the road. The restaurant had a stunning menu, which was sampled every evening. One not to miss. On the down side the hotel was located in a village with nowhere else to eat, but with the standard of food at the hotel you would not want to eat anywhere else at all.
I liked the friendly atmosphere and the warm welcome. A pleasant surprise was the availablility of the thermal pool. It was great relaxing in the warm waters and thinking that the Romans had done the same centuries before! The restaurant was excellent.
we stopped here on our way to the south of the country and found it very relaxing and restfull for an over night stop.
The location was excellent for a stopover en route to the South of France. The food in the restaurant was also excellent and reasonably priced Sadly this hotel seems to have had its heyday in the 1950s, and was very shabby in places and also had the air of an old people's home about it!
Convienient for our stay in Evaux les Bains - all staff very helpful and patient as we do not speak French.
silence, quiet location
