Pros: Very pleasant breakfast. Intriguingly quirky and museum-like interior, but also perfectly comfortable and practical. Good wi-fi. Very helpful owners.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Although the room was small, it is decorated in an original style. Especially the lights created a warm and cozy atmosphere. There were fresh roses, sustainable products in the shower (ecological shampoo), a coffee machine and a water boiler with tea in the room. The lower part of the windows was covered with blackboards and chalk on which former guests had left their greetings.
Cons: You have to move a bit carefully on the floor because the house is old and you might disturb the neighbors if you jump around. But that wasn't really a matter.
9.5 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The person who welcomed us was super helpful and nice (thank you Xavier!). The bed was comfortable and the room wide, bright and clean. The house is on a hill, about 10-15 min ride with the bus, there is a bus stop just in front of the house who brings you directly to the city center with regular runs (about every 20 minutes - 2,50 € only cash at the driver) - you can also go down to the center walking but for going up to the house, I would use the bus if you don't have a car. Parking is free of charge and normally you can find a place just close to the house. I would go back again without hesitation.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like is that if you want to have electric power in the bathroom you also have to turn on the light. Sometimes I like the shadow... but probably it's only me :) A little small the TV, since it is far from the bed. But we are not TV addicts so we didn't care!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We where welcomed by our host, we received a map and detalied information about places to visit. There is a bus station in front of The house and in 10' you are in the center of Liege. Also, there is a short way to Guillemins if you go just to see it. Otherwise will be a little difficult to carry a suitcase. Large room, bed, bathroom, good parking place. Beautiful view being on a hill and second floor.
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: Very nice couple
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hosts. Good breakfast. Spacious room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Vinciane and her husband were such nice hosts. They were very helpful with directions and places to see and eat. The room we stayed in was very modern and lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable. This location is a short way from the city center, but we had a car and drove closer to the sites the next day.
Cons: We had a little bit of a hard time finding the property. The address was correct and our GPS took us to the right place, but it's in a neighborhood and we were uncertain that it was the right building until we got out of the car and could see the small door plate. There is street parking, but you may have to park a short walk away if spots are full. This is just for information for others, these things did not take away from our good experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and Vinciane was very helpful picking me up from the station.

5.5 Okay
Pros: Big room
Cons: No lift very small stairs. Was not easy with the luggage’s. No AC it was hot in the room.
5.0 Okay
Cons: We could not have the breakfast there because nobody was present for the preparation of the breakfast. We had to go somewhere else: more expensive and not fine. The service for the client was thus bad. No service at all because the owners were not present.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom was lovely, also Marius and Caroline were lovely hosts.
Cons: The spiral staircase was a big shock and took some navigation and it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room so we could have an hot drink
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The three rooms we had booked (there were 6 of us) in this very old house had lots of charm and were tastefully decorated. The beds were extremely comfy and each room had a wonderful large modern bathroom. Breakfasts were OK, you could either choose "sucré" or salé". The small pancakes were super. (Waiting time for being served a bit long though). Owner Caroline was delightful and immediately took care of things when pointing out small things, e.g. the almost empty soap bottle. She also took me opposite the street to a fantastic restaurant - she knew the owner - and asked him whether he could specially cook two veggie meals out of the six we were going to have that night. Location is wonderful, right in the middle of a most charming neighborhood with lots of small boutiques and restaurants but... heavenly quiet at night! Would definitely send my friends to this place!
Cons: No space to store your clothes, just some hooks on the wall with a couple of hangers. The beautifully old but also very narrow and extremely winding staircase, even though I knew this beforehand. There is no elevator in this funky and delightful house that rents out 4 rooms. So if you have any mobility problems, forget about staying here. But if that is not the case, you definitely should try this place!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect to visit Christmas markets, it is easy to find it. The room is enough for two people. Even though there is not a reception, the people in the cafeteria is so nice and willing to help you. They even helped us with the luggage.
Cons: The building is nice, but there is not a elevator and the stairs are narrow so it should be careful when go upstairs and downstairs, more when take the luggage. I had appreciate if it would have had a bathtub, I saw it in the pictures but i suppose that not all the rooms have it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, steps from the parking garage, very close to the center of the city, many nice restaurants and shops close by, easy access to the building/room, charming old building, nicely decorated and cozy rooms, view of the river... What else could you ask for?
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was fantastic, the location is very good. Close to everything in the old city centre. The building and rooms are comfortable and decorated well. is It was hot weather and I was even offered a fan for the room. There is attentention for the details here. Felt safe as a solo traveller. Will not hesitate to stay again!
Cons: No complaints. Everything was as things should be.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location and room style
Cons: Too warm and no minibar
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is great, and the owner is so nice and helpful. Some comments mention the spital staircase, and if you have any mobility issues then it will be a problem but personally i loved the staircase (and i was staying the top floor)! It’s a very old building, full of charm and the staircase just adds to it being very special.

Pros: Extremely helpful staff at reception, and on breakfast duty at the bar on the 12th July Comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: We were travelling by car and found the property slightly difficult to find. maybe we needed to do more homework in advance. We probably ordered our meals in the restaurant too late in the evening. The waitress was pleasant but was overstretched and needed more help.

Cons: Nothing bad to report during our stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfort and size of room, Location
Cons: Wifi was poor
7.5 Good
Pros: + Nice big double bed with good quality bedsheets + Appreciated the kettle, free coffee and tea, and free bottle of water in the room + Great location, close to old town and main station + I liked the refill toiletries - good quality and no plastic waste + Room was clean, cleaning lady very nice
Cons: - Shower floor didn't look clean or needs remodeling - Loud techno music from somewhere in the area on Saturday night made it very hard to fall asleep - Appreciated the mini fridge but, alas, it never cooled down - A lot has been said about the slow WiFi (all the more peculiar that this still hasn't been fixed...). It's basically useless. They should at least state this correctly on booking.com, nobody expects 1992 WiFi when it's advertised as "WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge" - Altogether found the value for money not sufficient. Should be 20% cheaper or offer decent WiFi and soundproofing, and look nicer - the building and the parking deck-view are indeed hideous
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, very helpful, great breakfast, fine food in the restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, very friendly and competent, and always eager to help. Location is great. Nice bar as well. We had a big nice clean room. My wife and I had a great time here and we can recommend this hotel.
Cons: Only thing I can think of is that the room had a terrible view, but let's be honest, during the day you're there to explore the city and during nighttime there are better things to do than look out the window...

Pros: Nice clean room which is located about 20 minutes away from the center. Owner was really friendly and there were zero issues with communication. For the money you cant really find better place.
Cons: I'd prefer if room had 2 separate sheets instead of one big sheet. Wifi could also be a bit better but those are just details.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Having a quirky place to ourselves. Loss of space, character and host extremely helpful. Saved us from missing or train when no taxis were to be had on bank holiday!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We had both the upper and lower floor with all three bedrooms. The place is huge. A lot of stairs though but we didn't mind. There is a kitchen and living room area to hang out. Quiet neighbourhood and free parking
Cons: Some of the kitchen utilities hadn't been used much i guess because some had some mold on them. So wash the dishes before using them.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were made very welcome by host who made sure we had a great stay. She was very kind to accept a parcel from our daughter which was delivered there. Our room was large and well furnished, which included fridge and microwave oven. We stayed in a quaint but charming house, which we learnt was quite old, thus adding character to the accommodation. Parking was on-street and adequate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: La Maison Sainte Marguerite is a very stylish and cosy place. It's located in a beautiful 17th century building, furnished with taste and authenticity. Pros: We were given the entire apartment which was a very lovely surprise. The rooms were very clean and we just loved how Lydie has done to the place. The house itself is over 200 years old and we lovely every bit of it. It's also really close to the city centre and free parking all around.

Pros: Hotel is very new so everything is newly decorated and still looking exceptionally good. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable and we had very good sleep fro the duraton of our stay. Bar staff in the main bar and the sky bar were very friendly and worked hard to make sure you had a good experience all the time!
Cons: Tv in our room wasn't working using the remote control... a man tried to fix it but couldn't. We also had for fight with non hotel guests to get a table for evening meals... Hotel guests were not given priority seating, which we thought was a little unfair!
7.5 Good
Pros: the food was excellent, very friendly waiting staff.
Cons: The staff on reception were rude and unhelpful, apart from two young men who were very good. the room had no partition blind between the shower and bedroom. there was a fire alarm, no evacuation started
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was just perfekt
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, facilities, clean, comfortable and good location. Many thanks for a great stay.
Cons: Layout can be a little maze like on some floors initially downstairs especially and the cupboards in the rooms are a bit thrown together but this won’t stop us staying again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: spent 4 nights here after car breakdown in Liege. Very expensive Hotel but central and fantastic breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Cons: it was impossible to find the pet supplement on the website or on booking.com if we knew it would be 25€ we might have considered another hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a quiet room at the back of the hotel. Apparently the rooms at the front overlooking the river are more expensive. Nice bar and restaurant, although the latter was full so i couldn't dine there.
Cons: The rush hour scrum at breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great room, facilities, restaurant and staff.
Cons: Quite a walk into town and not a lot going on nearby.
6.8 Good
Pros: The Restaurant was great food staff fantastic work together like a well oiled clock.
Cons: The man at the reception desk rude arrogant impatient no regard for other nationalilties
9.3 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location idyllic, warm welcome from Michael, well appointed rooms.
Cons: Everyone needs a holiday - the bar and dining area is ideal for light lunchtime bites but if you arrive when the restaurant staff are on a break be prepared for a short taxi ride to the centre which is great for dining. Depending on traffic the fare can be between 10 & 25 euros.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A spacious room with kitchenette facilities situated in a well-renovated chateau in a quiet environment. Nice restaurant on site also.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Internet can be improved, but is small issue.
7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious room, quiet lovely surroundings (golf course) and good on site restaurant
Cons: It is not an hotel. No cleaning during your stay, no bathroom utilities and no one at the reception. Strange for a place with so much potential...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room atmosphere
Cons: The sheets were too small for the bed and they didn't feel comfy We had some problems with the shower. The water wouldnt heat up.
7.5 Good
Pros: When we drove up to the property it definitely has the “wow factor” on entering the room again had the same feeling however
Cons: The big things about this property like room, decor are great but it’s the very small things that let it down like fridge did not work, 2 TVs in living area did not work, not enough toilet paper for 2 toilets. However do not let me put you off. The chateau is first class , very nicely decorated, very luxurious but just needs a few very small things sorting out for the £175 per night price tag . Would stay again though as perfect for what we needed it for
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice apartment next to a clubhouse of a golf range, in a great looking small chateau. Free parking.
Cons: Out of the city, no restaurants or other facilities in the neighbourhood, breakfast not included.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large, clean modern apartment with excellent on site restaurant/bar with nice views of the golf course
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Looks good, near golf course, nice building.
Cons: Heating was off. Nobody was at the reception, sent sms with no reply.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great apartment, very large and well appointed. On a golf course. House well renovated to a high standard. It is an apartment as other people lived in the block.
Cons: We were asked what time we would be arriving and messaged back with an agreed time. When we got there noone was around. We were forced to call the owner who did not seem to be expecting us. We were finally let in by a lady with no english. My bad french allowed me to communicate that the breakfast would be 9.30 next morning. Next morning, no one around again. Again had to call owner. There seemed to be nowhere to have breakfast that we paid for. It was Sunday morning so nowhere around either. No one around to collect key on leaving?? Would not stay there again. No reception at all. Never have I experienced anything like it. We asked for refund for the non existant breakfast which he agreeed to do.

Pros: Room was comfortable and very well decorated in an almost theatrical French style and was equipped with a spa bath. Own private balcony which we did not use as it rained heavily on our arrival. big king size comfortable bed. Continental breakfast served in room.
Cons: No rack or table to put suitcases on. Otherwise no complaints.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent reception x lovey host

Pros: Very good location, in front of the train station
Cons: Small rooms; ironing board cover could be washed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Virtually across the road from the railway station which was great for day trips. But if a walk to city centre but doable. Spacious room and bathroom with separate toilet.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No handrails on stairs
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is just across from the train station. It’s near many buses and therefore it makes it easier to travel downtown when needed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Air con. Great pizza and ice cold Belgian been just next door!
Cons: Toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall (minor issue). Coffee facilities in room are poor (cheap instant coffee) - again - a minor quibble. Parking ticket has to be obtained prior to entering the multi storey opposite or you'll pay almost 20 euros instead of the 10 euros advertised for an overnight stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: clean and confortable and very convenient, helpful staff
4.5 Okay
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: The staff were extremely rude. If you don't speak their language they don't have time for you. The air conditioner didn't work. When questioned about this the very rude receptionist said open the window. Luckily it wasn't 37°C like the previous day otherwise we would have sweated. The carpet in the corridors smelt like mould and wasn't very hygienic. The service was inconsistent. Do not stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean and comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to the railway station. Restaurants very close by and supermarket in the railway station. Bed was very comfortable
Cons: Shower in the bath

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous building – have stayed here 3 times previously, and it has always been a delight. The staff are excellent, very helpful. The breakfasts are fairly standard but of good quality and the fact that one could squeeze one's own fresh orange juice was a plus.
Cons: Getting to our room on floor 7 involved two separate lifts, with a longish walk between them – slightly confusing! – but other floors don't have this problem.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly service, comfortable beds, well-maintained wellness area (free of charge), air-conditioned rooms, cleanliness adequate, extensive breakfast options and staffed breakfast room at 10 o'clock. No problems at all.
Cons: Of course, what you pay for is what you get: the hotel is good value at 100-140 Euros/night, not comparable to 5 star hotels charging 300 Euros/night. Paid a few Euros extra for a room with garden view, recommended.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: not much unfortunately
Cons: vastly overrated, not a luxury hotel. overpriced for the product and services. suites are not well kept, food and restaurant service absolutely insignificant. big fancy names for the food and fancy presentation, to hide plain cuisine. restaurant service very lengthy, count 2h to have a meal even in an empty restaurant. after seeing the type of customer roam around the hotel it seems apparent that it is used a lot for old men to meet young "professional" ladies, or their mistresses.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A dreamplace in all its aspects...the mix of the old cstle and the modern architecture..the food ..the lovely terrace..the pool...the cocktails..but in first place the friendliness of all staff members!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything super
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The nice hotel in the central of Liege with historical part as a Castel and a new one. Very good Spa, swimming pool, restorant, breakfast, equipment . Beyond the windows of swimming pool lives two wonderfull rabbits. Beautifull view from restorant to the city, good work of the stuff.
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Building and service.
Cons: Not 5 star worthy Rabbits and cages visible from spa. Very limited gym Old shower installs No soaps Not clean / breakfast limited No fresh fruits Room curtains did not close We booked the Royal suite. Which is the biggest / most expensive. The queen was not impressed and the king pissed off.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great service and restaurant recommendations upon late arrival. Also valet parking service was great, with the car sitting outside upon leaving after breakfast, as per request.
Cons: Next to an alleyway with very long steep stairs to get to town but is not lit up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk and concierge always go above and beyond the call of duty when you have a need or request. The hotel is impeccable in its presentation, amenities, ambience and location. If you wonder whether it is worth the price - the answer is yes.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Loved being able to get a great cocktail at the (indoor) bar. Great view of the city. Decent location to get into it too. Grateful for the valet service.
Cons: Quiet room means a room beneath the building airco units on the roof. Hallways weren't vacuumed by the looks of it, after our three days the white paint dust on the corridor between the two elevators was still lying around. Due to rain and wasps the outdoor cocktail bar was closed. Would have loved to get a king's landing. Leaking shower door and mold in the corners, did not meet expectations.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, room, service, parking just near the enter - all was great
Cons: We spent 2h to fill jacuzzi with water but it was fun))
5.0 Okay
Pros: The decor was lovely.
Cons: The lighting in the bathroom was poor and there was nowhere to put a toilet bag, no shelves etc. The room had no air conditioning so it was very hot. There was no restaurant, breakfast was delivered to my room at 9am. The breakfast was very simple and basic. I had requested gluten and lactose free and both were catered for.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Family house, recently converted in a nice 6-rooms hotel. Quiet location in a Liege suburb, not far from center. I got a very big room, well furnished and with great bathroom. Ample free parking in the street, good internet.
Cons: 3rd floor but no lift. Top floor room may become hot in summer, and I haven't see air conditioning. Decorations are a bit eccentric (bright colours...) but ok for me
5.5 Okay
Pros: At least the shower was alright. They have a bike parking.
Cons: This is sex hotel and should be made clear on their profile so that people that have nothing to do with it avoid this property. They should stop asking for credit cards in order to copy them. This is illegal. They should accept card payments and stop avoiding tax. The breakfast is nothing for EUR 10. For the same price in Liege you will get so delicious a breakfast, you won't forget it.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful room. Good in-room breakfast. Comfortable bed. The hotel is in a quite district of liege, few km away from the city center. We'll definetely come. Back !
Cons: No elevator
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was a very positive and helpful person. The quality of the hotel was ok.
Cons: The check out was a bit too early (10 am, it shall be 11 am).

Hôtel Hors Château is centrally located in Liege, a 4-minute walk from Montagne de Beuren and 7 minutes by foot from Place Saint-Lambert. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
7.0 Good
Cons: We wait 5 minutes and and then search for the ladies who suppose to deliver breakfast at our (small)table. Pré-baked croissants and buns and no fresh slices of bread, plastic cup of yoghurt, there were no eggs nor fruits. When we asked for a few more buns we were told to wait for 20 minutes so they can heat the oven.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location on the most beautiful street of the renaissance city, modern accomodations in an 18th century building.
Cons: I liked everything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent location to access Liege old town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable alone.
Cons: No lift. They were refurbishing the rooms on the 1 floor so it was noisy. But soon it will be finish. No door for the WC so as a couple it’s not much fun.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location, basic but sufficient facilities
Cons: Sticky switches probably not cleaned sufficiently.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Is clean and well maintained. Benoit the Manager is extremely helpful and very kind.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very close to City Center, very friendly staff en breakfast was fine to
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Very steep stairs to get to the reception area and even steeper stairs (and very very slippery) inside the room. My partner had a fall in the morning as the stairs were extremely steep and very slippery when wearing just socks. Just getting your luggage to the bedroom (it was a split level room - bathroom downstairs and a bed upstairs) was a hassle.
5.3 Okay
Pros: The rooms were modern and the staff was very friendly and helped us find the address of the restaurant we had made a reservation at.
Cons: The rooms were very small and there was a lot of noise from the street.
6.8 Good
Pros: friendly staff,nice style
Cons: -
3.6 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel was in a good location within easy walking distance of the city centre and atractions.
Cons: We booked the 'suite' which was actually a small entrance room with built in wardrode, wall mounted TV and three quarter bed, with a staircase leading up to a very narrow bathroom with low ceiling and large bedroom with double bed, TV and small seat. This was not a 'suite'.
4.0 Okay
Cons: We have selected this hotel, because it offered Wireless network, however we could not get on line. No alternatives were offered, and we were on a bussiness trip. The shower was broken, and the breakfast for €12 was totally overprised (should be half!)
5.2 Okay
Pros: Close to Liége downtown
Cons: Extremely hard to get there in a car (at least while there are public works going on nearby). No hotel parking during the school year, unless one committs to leave before 8am
3.5 Mediocre
Pros: nice and new and good location
Cons: ice cold water - I could not shower because the water was ice cold!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hostel, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good breakfast included.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location: It was easy to find; there are restaurants just outside the hostel, walking distance to city center Bed: Clean linens; comfortable Breakfast: They have several choices of spread and toppings to choose from - this is what really exceeded my expectation. I'm used to hostels offering free breakfast but with few or no options at all.
Cons: I didn't like that there was a little incident in regards to my deposit; but it was quickly resolved without any arguments - so I still find this a positive experience. :)
8.0 Excellent

Cons: Charged £5 more when i checked my bank card.
