Convenient location. Do not book this property for a romantic stay, or if you want to lounge/swim/be a beach bum. Do book it for a convenient access point to explore Athens on a city break or if you have business in the area. It is a well managed, clean and pragmatic property which offers friendly personnel, excellent facilities incl free fast wifi and accessibility (car, rail).
l location was too remote, the traffic is very inconvenient. But from the sea near, the landscape is very beautiful Hotels are not attached to the network to use, expensive hotel restaurant does not exceed the value of property.
The view from the room is spectacular. Very quiet. Very clean. Very comfortable. I highly recommend.
Peaceful, clean, upscale environment, nice staff, great room.
Excellent room, with fabulous sea view. Very good breakfast with many choices for all tastes. Good size bathrooms, with full size bath, unusual in this day and age. Thin walls, could easily hear TV and conversations from next room.
The hotel room is big and spacious, provides a nice sea view. Location is too far from Rafina, and there is no nearby public transportation. Staff are unfriendly at all
Convenience. View from room; helful dining room staff. No extra pillows or face tissues in room
the view was nice, pool nice, nice balcony for sunset and sea view, good staff. poor girl in the inside bar had no idea how to make a capucinno, but the outside pool bar was well equiped with everything
Spa was great !! Nice & friendly quiet hotel. Great views of the sea from the room. Breakfast buffet did not vary at all & some of the cooked items were always cold. It was a bit of a trek up hill to the bus stops. Not much choice of restaurants in the town, not much to do in the town.
facilities, very nice and helpful staff, good choice for breakfast there was no shop's at all. Very difficult to get any things, if you need smt.
Nice location (only 20km from Athens); Wonderful hotel facilities (we really enjoyed the wellness center); Very fine breakfast and lunch/dinner. The hotel is (almost) only accessible by car.
everything it is a very relaxing place and lovely atmosphere the only thing i disliked is the distance its a bit far from the city and too much traffic in Athens!!
Nice design, good service
Hotel design So many christening parties during my stay that the boutique and wellness element of the hotel was lost; hotel felt like a conference centre and as such lost its charm
The rooms was very clean and comfortables. All the hotel was very quiet. Good hotel for relaxing. The instalations (swimming pool, spa, restaurant, etc) was fantastic. The staff was helpfull and friendly. Too far for the center of Athens and for the beach. If you want to book these hotel, I will recommend to rent a car.
Beautiful view by the pool with a bar (not on the water but still nice) great breakfast, helpful staff, 5min from port, free wifi, own patio Very hard beds, pool closed just as we got there to swim 6pm, shower curtain gross, very small bathroom, not many food choices around (less than 4 or so)
It was central to the area we stayed in. The resteraunt was good. The staff were helpful. The airconditioning would only heat and not cool making the room very stuffy at night.
It; s location in Kifissia which is a very nice suburb of Athens. The staff's atttitude and behaviour. They should be allowed to fight in front of the clients during breakfast.
The rooms are large and luxurious. The setting of the swimming pool is beautiful and relaxing, making you forget that you are at the centre of Kifissia. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Location; Staff; Room size.
The Hotel staff people were first class, polite and professional, very helpful at all times! The cleaning ladies were making a lot of noise early in the morning and were talking very loud on the corridor.
Its location, the swimming pool. The behaviour of the staff, the menu of the pool's bar.
The view from the balcony was great. The room was semi-clean and the 3 German channels hardly qualify as 'satellite TV'. Although we had booked a double room, we were given a twin and the staff refused to change our room since it was the only available, as they said. They issued a receipt only after we insisted on it (!!). The beach right outside is sad, the pool is way better.
The good attitude of the staff, the good location and the distance (zero) to the seashore. for our needs, the room/unit was too small.
it's almost impossible to find even with the newest GPS, I wanted to leave after the first night because I did not like and they made pay for all the nights, there is no restaurants or bars nearby,it is far from the village. They don't speak any other language besides greek and there are a lot wasps.
the pool, bar and restaurant facilities were excellent. The staff were fair and tried their best to attend to everyone's needs during mid august which is the busiest time for holidays in greece the rooms were quite bare and primitive. When we first walked into our room however, it had not been cleaned. This was from 2-5pm, so the room should have been cleaned. the beach was like swimming in a river, had to drive elsewhere for a satisfactory beach. overcharged @ 65 euro when the official prices on the door said 50 for high season.
Great hotel. staff was very helpful.
Thestaff is excellent and you cant go wrong by eating in the hotel for dinner. Everything was made by hand, fresh and delicious! Its not close enough to town to walk and the rooms are bit small.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Distance from Athens city and also airport was completely lied about on the website. Apparently they said it was 11kms from the airport but yet it took us 2 buses on the way to the hotel and 1hr 10 min airport transfers on the way back
used as a stay for the airport, so had only little time there to get to know the place there was a strong smell of old cigarette smell in the room , wasn't the hotels fault , it was who occupied the room prevously, and would take some time to get this completely clear, we opened the window and that helped
Reasonably comfortable and pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. Staff were appropriate and helpful. The pool and grounds area was nice. About 200 -300 meters from the sea. A little far from the city. The hall carpets were a little stained and shabby looking. There was no WiFi on any of the floors except on the ground. The orange juice at breakfast was very watered down. Need to have car to go anywhere (except the sea).
Quiet and relaxing, very good choice for a transit stop. Nice location.
The pool and access to internet.
A nice, friendly hotel with an excellent garden and pool. The greek salad in the pool bar is very good. The hotel is easy to find, close to the Marathonas avenue in Mati. It is easy to reach Nea Makri, where there are plenty of good shops and restaurants, both in the city center and on the beach. The hotel is maybe a little too far away from any shopping center (ie not within walking distance). You need to take a taxi there or have a car unless you want to use the bus.
The hotel was very nice, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was ok. Yes, the location was much more far from the airport. It was about 25 km from there and 30 Km from the City center of Athens
It was very close to the port of Rafina, easy to reach by taxy -arranged by the hotel easily- and the receptionist spoke an excellent english, a good plus! the hotel itself is on the ringroad, but you can walk to the beach and in summer the area was extremely lively
Beautifully situated at the outskirts of Arachova, minutes from Delfi. Very nice hotel, great view, charming dining room and very nice staff. If only the indoor pool water, right next to the dining room, were heated...
The Rafina bus from the airport takes you right to the hotel for only $4. Its location on the port provided lots of fresh seafood restaurants.
everything. i would stay there again. without fail
Proximity to the airport Parking accomadations
No comment, for one night only.
Many sea food restrant within working distance. Looks like family hotel operation, sometimes running out of people. But nice hotel.
Ease of finding, connection to airport great, staff at concierge very helpful service in restuarant was not the best, food was great though
Hotel staff is very courteous, resourceful. The hotel is in quiet place, good for resting and relaxing. too far from airport and the city (Athens).
near the ferry, 30 minutes to Airport by Bus.
proximity to the airport
Room was ok. 3.5-4 stars. This is not really a hotel but 10-12 rooms conjured out of an old villa. No hotel facilities, no life. Just a place to sleep. Athens has no hotel value--same type of hotel would cost less in Zurich and now even London. Best thing to do is avoid Athens altogether.
I think it was the best value for money.Free transfer from and to the airport, helpfull staff with a very friendly driver and hotel manager also.Nice room with a special decoration. There were also two personal bottles of wine in the room.
nice room no
Handy for Airport and visit to Marathon. Good Car Parking Local restaurants expensive or closed
The kindliness of the staff. A bit far from the center.
Brilliant Souvlaki delivery! Breakfast was a bit iffy, cold tea and coffie, very far from everything, if u dont have car.
Comfortable bed No bath - yet requested a room with a bath. If none wa savailable I should have been emailed and given the opportunity to cancel, as hotel description said room had a bath. only warm water available, not hot.
The receptionist and night porter were courteous, friendly and efficient. The bathrobe and toiletries were a nice touch. Distance from airport, port and centre of Athens. The room was not like the photo on the internet, but it was adequate if a little 'tired'.
A nice place to stay in. Nice furnished hotel, breakfast ok, parking available.
the (free) wireless internet that we where able to use. Yes we where told there was a free airport shuttle but when we went to book it we were informed it was not free it was 40euro's one way.. Said it was close to airport but a cab ride from airport was 45euro also said it was close to town (but is no where near it) breakfast was included but when we got down to the buffet it was empty when we asked for it to be topped up we were told there is no more as there is a strike (we paid extra in our accommadation price to only get a cold coffee and a glass of juice... not a nice place to stay at all.......
Great view to the sea, polite hotel staff, near to nice beach Old building
Location, excellent view. Friendly staff - very effcient
beach view and price. close to bus transit carpet dirty, all hotels were far from airport, transportation cost to Athens and airport costly or timely depending on bus or metro,
The site, the service and the relatively close location to the airport of Athens. The environment is quiet an the waves at the coastline are whispering. Rooms are not wll isolated against noise internally. Outside see above.
Be prepared to pay 50 euros of taxi to arrive at the hotel. The distance that they indicate on the descrition is not correct. It´s 45 minutes ride. It will be cheapper if you go to Atenas.
Nice ocean view rooms. Go for those. Clean and a bit ordinary. Stayed one night because it was reasonable close to the airport (30 minutes by car).
just beside the sea and in a nice area. the dinner buffet is ok. it is actually far away from the international airport. takes 20-30min driving and cost 25-35 euros. so totally, it is not cheap as we thought.
poor location and poor compared to its neighbouring hotels
The desk clerks were fantastic, went out of their way to get us to airport early in am. Convient little computer room in lobby with printer and unlimited use. Breakfast sounded good but we left too early in am to sample. Hotel is dated and could use a make over.
place, peace, silence, breakfast, design
I found the Nafsika to be a very cosy, quiet and relaxing place. Close to all amenities. The staff were also excellent and extremely helpful. The onlt thing I would like to add is tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Nothing all was good
Hotel staff was very nice to me. I sow, that they are adapting hotel outside look, which is realy necessary.
Close to the Olympic Arena (for a concert), nice quiet area, easy to get about on the train into Athens. Nice and clean. Very well laid out and tastefully done. Bed and breakfast only. Tea and coffee in the rooms would have been useful but it's not a complaint. Use of a computer would have been helpful to book return flights.
