The hotel's pool was closed, and that's the only reason i picked this place. I get my kids 2 times a month, and this was one of the times....and I wanted to take them swimming. I show up to this hotel and the pool, and lobby are completely closed. FAIL
Closed pool, crappy personnel. The desk clerk wouldnt answer the phone and made comments about 'not caring who calls'. Manager wouldnt work with me on the price after selling the room through priceline without an open pool/lobby. ripoff.I'll never use priceline again, and I will never use this motel again. Priceline books room at hotels without knowing the status of the hotel...meaning if the pool is closed they dont tell you and when you show up and there's a problem, priceline calls the manager and if the manager doesnt want to help you out, then you are screwed. Worst service ever from priceline.com. Ill be telling all my military comrades about my service as well.
All rooms have been renovated so everything is nice and new.
The front desk and pool area is not finished yet - it will be wonderful when it is all done.
The room was newly renovated and very nice.
Because of renovations, the pool was closed.
Great Staff. Very good warm breakfast. Better than most 2.5 and 3 * hotels.
The swimming pool and the lobby were under maintenance. I did not give the hotel better rating b'cos of that. They need more comfortable pillows. They were kind of small. All rooms have microwave and a fridge which is great for people with kids.
Was very well kept, everything looked like new.
We were unaware that the pool was closed for renovations, it was one of the reasons we chose this location
Rooms were old and out of date. Pool and hot tub were dirty. TV didn't work well.
The staff was great, the location is very centralized for getting around Grand Forks
The hot water was not hot. Even the hot water for making tea was only warm.We really enjoyed our stay overall. Nice clean rooms, good choices for breakfast, central location and a very nice helpful staff.
the breakfast was sufficient. the morning staff refilled the food when it started to run out. the breakfast front desk staff were pleasant.
the pool bathroom was not cleaned regularly and there were rust stains on the door frames. the arcade games did not work in the pool area. the rooms did not have very good privacy from the bathroom, which were quite small. no separate clothes closets.the pool bathroom was not cleaned regularly and there were rust stains on the door frames. the arcade games did not work in the pool area. the pool area was dark and dingy. the rooms did not have very good privacy from the bathroom, which were quite small. no separate clothes closets. our rooms were not cleaned during our 2 day stay. this meant the beds were not made and no clean towels or toiletries given. we had to ask for towels. when we complained, we anticipated the rooms to be cleaned but they were not. when we asked for a late check out, the f...
lobby was nice and breakfast was decent for the price we paid.
We requested a room with a king when we were checking in, but the front desk person refused to accommodate us even though the hotel was nearly empty. The hotel was in a decent location and lobby was nice. The room was below average with outdated beds and bedding. The mattresses felt like they were 100 years old. The carpets felt damp and looked quite dingy. Considering the price we paid through Priceline, it was not much of a deal and I don't think I would use this method again. I have had better experiences just walking into a hotel and getting the room we want for a better price...especially on a Sunday night when vacancy is high.
