Our stay at this hotel was fabulous. In the middle of vineyards and olive trees, this hotel is beautifully situated. The hotel provided bicycles so we could ride through the countryside. Our children enjoyed the tenniscourt and pool. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is a bit overpriced compared to the quality.
The hotel was amazing, perfect size and the service was amazing. Two choices of restaurant would have been good, especially with little children.
Extremely professional staff. Rooms are large and very well decorated. Restaurant is excellent both for dinner and breakfast. Great outdoor pool. A bit disappointed by the Spa world: huge surface but only one indoor pool and saunas. No steam bath nor jacuzzis... More was expected for a hotel of such a level... Besides, saunas are separated men/women but men were intruding the women's part... A bit awkward....
Relaxed atmosphere. Possibility to work out and use mountinbikes. Friendly staff. Neat resort with nice pool and garden. The private beach was overrated.
Beutiful hotel. Nice and large rooms and common areas. The inside pool was magificent. Superb breakfast. The lunch and dinner menu could have some more choices and also the children menu was to expensive for what you got.
The staff was very accommodating, and there is a nice feeling of space in the hotel - wide corridors, large rooms with high ceilings and big windows, and a big pool outside with plenty of terrace surrounding it. It was all very clean.
Large pool but not often available for proper swimming. Animation team took over the pool 10-1( closed for lunch ), then took over again 3-30 - 6-30.
This is a charming place to stay, particularly at night. The location is not fantastic, but it's a short drive to the nearest beach and the towns of Marsala and Mazzara del Vallo. Breakfast was great. The apartment we stayed in was spacious. There's a huge supermarket just down the road. I thought it was nice to see the wedding parties in the courtyards. Ample parking, but you would need a car in order to stay here. The personnel speak very little English. It wasn't clear exactly how the AC worked. The cutlery/crockery in the apartment was very limited and the kitchen only had a two-pit electric stove. The swimming pool does not have a children's section and you have to wear a swimming cap.
Very pleasant hotel although the food on off only available at certain times and more for coach parties
beutifull building staff at meal time always arguing about who had to do what.lack of communication between reception and dinning area
lack of an english speaking front desk person. Lack of towels in the bathroom
Huge complex with swimming pool, number of restaurants and other attractions. Good breakfast. They had very noisy events every day during our stay (wedding and some other parties) - the hotel seems to be only an addition to the restaurant facilities. The wine cellar was not available for hotel guests. Car park for hotel guests is actually in the back of the hotel - it's poor and seems not attached to the hotel - just plain ground with a lot of flying dust.
handy for supermarket and ice cream cafe room seperate from hotel. no wifi there. pretty basic finish
Pool, friendly staff
Rooms were very comfrotable, facilities good and dining excellent. All at a very resonable price.
For our trip the location was perfect. It was also a nice experience to be there when they were picking the olives. We also liked that we were able to get dinner at the Case di Latomie and not drive into town. The dinner was amazing including the use of their own olive oil, many excellent courses with ample portions.
The dinner for 22 eur is value for money (4 course dinner)
Close to the ruins no elevator
*Extraordinary* nice owner family who runs the hotel. We felt almost like part of the family. The WiFi proved quite good too.
Very welcoming staff. Hotel at all is a good value for it's price if you need place to stay near Selinunte's ruins. No wifi on the 2nd floor. Narrow beds. No elevator.
free internet room, breakfast, service
View of sea, close proximity to ruins Staff were not very responsive. Room was marginal.
Staff were eager to help, friendly and oatient with my Italian. Hotel was tastefully furnished, spacious and very clean. Wonderful sea views. The only thing that upset us during our stay were the wild packs of dogs on the beach and road in front of the hotel. On one ocassion they chased our car into the grounds of the hotel. I had to get out of the car to request opening of garage door and felt vulnerable. I have no fear of dogs normally, I have two of my own! Perhaps the hotel owners should pressurize the local authority to have them destroyed.
the friendliness and courtesy of the staff. The proximity to the town of mazala del vallo. a swimming pool is badly needed. The absence of same was not evident from the booking information ( or was overlooked)
beautiful hotel in nice town. directly opposite hotel very dirty though.
The hotel is new and modern, but was not what I expected as far as facilities go. I thought we had access to the beach and could swim. The building is across the road from the ocean but not on a beach you would ever swim on. It is dirty and polluted. This hotel is popular with tourist buses, so unless you like to be woken up at 11.30pm when the karaoke starts, don't stay there. The staff seemed to be very young and inexperienced.
The overall quality of the modern European style rooms, the professional staff spoke perfect english. A very pleasant stay The Spa employees did not speak english
Location was good, easily walkable into centre and on sea front road. Room was great, very comfortable. The hotel is obviously very new. Ample parking available. Staff were very attentive and helpful at all times. Perhaps a few more signs around the hotel would be good to direct you to breakfast room and various bars. Lack of signage could be because its brand new.
Clean hotel. We had a seaveiw room with a very small balcony. You can't even put a chair. Expensive.
We found the hotel to be of excellent standard, the staff to be very helpful and very pleasent, The hotel was spotless. Pity there was such a bad smell of sewage across the road from the hotel.
Everything was spotlessly clean. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. No beach or place to lie in the sun. Felt it was really for business people. Area around absoloutely filthy. No entertainment.
Good hotel, friendly professional staff, good breakfast, OK pool area, nice room. Overall a quite good hotel. Maybe a bit high on the cost side. No toilet in connection to the pool area.
Location, cleanliness and general comfort. Terrace breakfast bar was superb. Mini bar fridge was warm, staff could be friendlier and satellite TV could be more comprehensive.
Beautiful views. Liked the position of the Breakfast Room. Nowhere to sunbathe. They had lots of areas which would have been suitable, but no sun loungers.
The staff was friendly and helpful. I also like the proximity to the beach. I had a view of the temple from my room. That was nice. The supermarcato was very close and, therefore, convenient.
I was told it had internet. Only possible to connect by phone which is very slow and very expensive.
Good location for visiting Selinunte architectural site; lovely ocean view from balcony; the breakfast room is on the top floor with views of the ocean and Greek temple; Adequate breakfast. Staff was efficient and helpful. This is a relatively new hotel and was not full when we visited ( we were there off season); but even so, 'plumbing' noises' could be heard from room to room.
This hotel has good location on the beach and near Selinunte ruins. Wondeful view from the top floor (restaurant), room is big enough. I think the four stars hotel could have some fitness area (sauna , gym, swimming pool). Hotel is open all year round, and it could be quit useful. There are bo bathtub in the rooms, but I like to take a bath during the winter.
Very nice room with seaview from two balconies. Excellent breakfast. Nice personnel. Close to Greek excavations.
Efficient, helpful and friendly staff at an hotel with good all round facilities.
Excellent location, beautiful hotel.Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast
Excellent Restaurant. Great fish. Great price
Close to archeological site, within walking distance to the beach and dinning facilities. Principal reception staff member very helpful.
Very informal and friendly atmosphere, staff very helpful. Evening meal (cena) remarkable value and excellent quality. Bathroom facilities very high standard. No
Very modern, friendly staff and very close to archaelogical park.
lovely hotel, good food, helpful staff, very good parking.
A beautiful, new hotel, with wonderful interior design, large rooms. Terrace, swimming pool, spa etc. Great food. I had not reserved for half board so of course had to pay for dinner. The menu however didn't mention the prices.
very nice hotel
New, clean, comfortable hotel. Nice pool. Restaurant understaffed. Breakfast could be better. Internet only at bar. Poor surroundings.
Our Sky box didn't work, but the staff did provide a replacement. I had booked a room for 3 nights, but left after one. There was a Valentine's party on the Saturday night, which went on until 3am. I was staying with my teenage son and we were probably the only guests booked in not attending. However, they put us in a room directly above the very loud disco! The noise went on until 3.
Lovely swimming pool, tenis courts The only thing it was not apartments as it said on the web site, but it was mobile homes where 5 normal audlts wouldn't fit to sleep...was big disappointment
Nice place to stay. Kitchen and a lot of things to go. Comfort and very simple mobile houses.
Nice clean and comferable room and bathroom
the staff was excellent. They where very helpful and tried to meet my every need. The advertisment says that it has wireless internet. it does not, the internet is dial-up and was very difficult to connect. I had to take my Laptop to a computer service area to get it configured, a username and password to a server that i did not know of.
The room was big and comfortable, the breakfast was good. The staff was very nice. There are brochures in the room about how to get to town centre and what can be seen there. The location - the area was a bit dirty, there is a harbour in the front of the hotel, that does not look appealing at all! There is about 20 minutes walk to the town centre (all restaurants etc) - personally we didn't mind it - but it was a bit unpleasant to walk in this area in late hours. The staff didn't speak english. Generally - it was ok for one night.
When we couldn't find the hotel, they cam and found us. We didn't have an accurante # and street address. we loved it.
Nice friendly staff. Clean and fairly quiet. By the description it says 'a short walk to the center and white sand beaches. The hotel is opposite the harbour and it takes about 20 min to walk to the center and 25 min to a not very white sand beach. Staff don't speak much English.
It's not a hotel, it's an agriturismo, which is a B&B on a working farm. The food was fabulous, the owner is hilarious, and the service was great. It is a hidden gem, worth the drive! It was somewhat challenging getting there (had to drive on an unpaved, dirt road, but worth it once we did!
Close to the sea and archeological park Selinunte, nice breakfast buffet
nice hotel, friendly staff
I liked the balcony. it was very high music in the evening, slaming in doors, moving around furniture on the terass above us.
Helpful person at reception Our guidebook said that it has one of the best restaurants in Sicily, but we were quite disappointed in our dinner.
breakfast choice was very limited.
Impossible to sleep due to noisy fan on the roof above my small room. Restaurant meal promised well but main course was inedible. Breakfast (good) was served at a nearby hotel.
Hotel's location is excellent, very close to Selinunte's temple valley. Also the breakfast was very nice. Our shower was a bit degraded. Not related to the hotel: If you park nearby on the streets, don't put your car under a lacony or it might get a dirty water shower like ours.
breakfast in the nearby 4 star hotel with a fantastic view although i had to walk in the rain to get there staff were unsmiling bordering on the rude, credit card machine wasn't working
The hotel is situated close to the beach and port and had a nice roof terrace for breakfast We had no balcony and the lady who met us on arrival must have been having a bad day as she was not very welcoming or helpful at all! However other staff were fine
good location to Selinunte archeological site, near to beach and marina, nice breakfast, elevators old hotel need renovation, poor bathroom
