Pros: Pretty much everything! I chose this Hotel because of its proximity to the area where we were taking off in a Hot Air Balloon with a company called 'Aeroglobo'. The staff were very friendly and the hotel clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't speak much Spanish and the owner didn't speak English but he was very helpful and we managed to make ourselves understood. There were eleven people in our party and I speak for them all when I say that we were extremely happy with our two night stay. We chose to eat breakfast at a super Spanish bar a ten minute walk away and in the evenings we ate at two excellent restaurants in the town. One night we spent drinking copious amounts in the bar until after 2am and were more than happy to see that the bill was just 40 euros between us! One of the party was celebrating his 70th birthday and had booked a suite for one of the nights but the owner kindly allowed he and his wife to stay in the suite for both nights. We would stay here again for sure.
Cons: Maybe tea and coffee making facilities in the room but I know it isn't common in Spanish hotels so it isn't a criticism.
Pros: Lovely boutique hotel. Great value for money. Very friendly staff. We stayed for two nights as we were going on a hot air balloon trip and it was ideally placed. There’s a lovely suite including a jacuzzi bath if you want to upgrade.
Pros: clean simple and handy for the A7 motorway. Just what we wanted at the time. Easy access to the rest of Alicante area
Pros: Spent 2 nights here with a group of friends to do a hot air balloon trip nearby. The hotel was spotlessly clean and I was delighted to find a had been given a double room despite only booking a single. The owner was so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend
Pros: Great for an overnight stay on the way down south
Pros: The building is very pretty and easy to find, right off of the A-7. The staff were friendly.
Cons: The lights were always off in the hallways and the doors were very awkward to unlock and lock. Traveling alone with my young daughter I did not always feel safe. One night someone tried to open our door. Another morning (5am or so) there was a lot of noise, like an exercise program or someone moving furniture for an extended period of time. The rooms were also very, very small and our window opened into an alcove, so we got no direct light.
Pros: Very quite and very high standard of cleanliness And very friendly but no English spoken here
Cons: Tea and coffee in room would of been nice as we arrived very late
Cons: check in was delayed by major misunderstanding. Owner should have read our special request properly

Pros: The evening tapas and drinks were affordable and nice. Although the staff had limited English and I have non-existent Spanish, we managed to get through check in and food/drink ordering :)
Cons: The pastry breakfasts looked unappealing and I left the hotel hungry.
Pros: Clean room friendly staff, great food, and perfect location for the motorway
Cons: For the price great value for money couldn't fault it
Pros: Very friendly staff, rooms cleaned daily, Accommodation and facilities excellent. Good selection of food.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Cons: We arrived to check in with our booking.com reservation confirmation. They took one look and said we should not have it as they were fully booked. That was it. Five hours from home and we were told we did not have a room for the night. Not a language problem either as we speak Spanish. "Fully booked and you are not staying here" was clearly understood.
Pros: Great value for money, the restaurant serves great Spanish food.
Cons: Alot of noise during the night with customers refuelling their vehicles.
Pros: Great staff
Pros: Very clean and comfortable
Cons: The wifi was poor

Pros: Hether and Richards place is what we would call a "Geheimtipp". Laying in the middle of orange farms, it is somewhat hard to find, but that's what makes a Geheimtipp a Geheimtipp. At the end of a dirt road, after you start answering the question of your passenger(s) "are you sure that we are on the right way here?" with a slightly desperate "I hope so", it turns into a white marble gravel stoned and well organaised parking lot, behind a renovated wall. If you turn round after having parked the car in front of a tile saying "1" (or "2") you find yourself in front of what ordinary mortals, like us, might call a paradise, provided you arrive in summer with beautiful weather, which was not part of our trip at Easter 2019. Nevertheless the cottage, our lovely hosts had built all by themselfs, saved our days -and our marriage- and was equipped in a way, giving me the chance to execute some fancy cooking to overcome the mood of my wife, created by the incessant rain. At the end, we decided to come back in summer -after a thorough check of www.spainweather.es- to learn more about living in paradise, Richards cocktails, Hethers cooking, the pool, the bar, the garden, the shadow under the pine trees... We are looking forward!
Cons: Nothing, that could have possibly been influenced by Hether or Richard.
