Pros: Tranquil is too frenetic a name to describe the peacefulness of this stunning location. Adele and Bob are the most amiable of hosts and are full of excellent advice on things to do, where to eat etc. even making bookings. They were never wrong. Adele's seemingly endless cooking and baking produced wonderful results- see calories. Cakes aside the breakfasts were wonderful. We will most certainly return. Can't recommend it highly enough

Pros: The hosts were amazing. They loved to share information about the home's history and they helped us figure out how ti spend our time in Annapolis Royal. The breakfast was otherworldly. There was homemade blueberry cake in the morning with fresh handpicked berries that are from a variety you couldn't even buy in the store if you wanted to. (heritage berries!)... The view was great. The coffee was good. The whole experience was exquisite.

Pros: I went to stay for a treat for my birthday and it was wonderful! We toured town a little and when we came home in the evening, the hosts offered to play board games with us. That was fun. My son loved playing the old pump organ with the patented mouse-proof foot pedals, and I loved the stories about the history of the house and the town (and ghost stories of course!). Birthday breakfast was just as wonderful as we hoped and we even got some delicious muffins for a picnic later. I can imagine us returning to this place! Definitely a place and people you'd like to return to.

Pros: We found this place my accident as we were trying to find a place to stay for my family of 6 in the Annapolis Valley, and this was one of two places available, and had an excellent rating so we booked it. When we drove up, it was such a cute, quaint location. There is the main house/store, with a large pool and multiple cabins, with a large park in the middle for kids to play, bunnies hopping around and goats. At the back there is quite a few RVs. We stayed in one of the cabins (#4) and it was spacious, and immaculately clean! There were all the conveniences provided in the kitchen, and even some games above the fridge. The main house has DVDs or games to borrow for their guests. The host family was very friendly and accommodating. We loved in so much within the first few hours, I inquired whether there was availability the following day, but it was booked. It is a must stay if you are in the area, and we will be back next time we are in the area.
