Pros: Out host was very agreeable but the facilities are fairly basic. It's been a long time since I haven't had en-suite facilities! However, it was fairly central and close to the motorway. We only needed an overnight stop on our way to the ferry and it was great for that.

Pros: Located just off Via Verde de Cidacos, close to hot springs. Hiking opportunities. Great food at the restaurant run by the owner in town.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous, peaceful location, lovely place to stay
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A quiet and restful place. A restored 1760 house has a lot of character – and ability to stay relatively cool in the summer heat. The management is super helpful and friendly. Bikes are available to take for a day and the disused railway provides excellent cycling opportunities. Hot springs are a short pleasant walk along the river. For parking, it may work best to park alongside the main road and walk down around 5 minutes. Good wi-fi. Breakfast in restaurant La Pista up the hill is excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming owner, comfortable lounge with open fire and stove. Very quaint village and hotel is well placed by riverside walks and the church. Good meal in restaurant in the same ownership.
Cons: Breakfast not available when we left about 8am to catch ferry in Bilbao.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This parador is one of the best we have stayed in. Excellent food, really friendly staff, check in very personal and welcoming. Highly recommended.
Cons: I really cannot think of a thing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Central location within the town, some parking spaces which are free to clients, handy location for stopover if using Santander/Bilbao ferries. English spoken at reception, Staff very helpful and excellent service at breakfast which was of a good standard, not 5 star choice of food but what was available at the buffet was of good quality and quickly replaced if there was high demand. Top marks for cleanliness and comfort.
Cons: Creaking floors could be an issue, which were timber with excellent finish, but we would definitely stay again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very very clean and also an extremely comfortable bed! Parking on site and near to town centre.
Cons: A lot of noise from adjoining rooms , banging doors , furniture being moved around and could quite clearly hear people talking , maybe walls not soundproofed ?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location , able to park at the hotel itself, great breakfast , good restaurant.
Cons: Being woken by television playing loudly in next room. soundproofing not ideal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities with superb rooms
Cons: Although Calahorra is a very old city with many fine old buildings I would not describe it as a holiday destination.
7.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is a good facility and feels historic. My room had a nice view of the countryside.
Cons: The internet service at the hotel is terrible. I stayed here 6 years ago as well and it was terrible then. One would think that they would have upgraded since that time, but no. The wi-fi doesn't reach all rooms and even when connected to a strong signal in the central area, the service is extremely slow, particularly at busy times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: all
Cons: nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was easy to find, and we were able to secure a parking space in the hotel car park. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Drinks in the bar and dinner in the restaurant were lovely if a tad expensive. Hotel prices I guess. We would stay again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, room. Very accommodating to requests. We have stayed at the hotel about ten times.
Cons: Having to walk passed people smoking by the main entrance, whether entering or leaving the hotel.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Room looked lovely. Very clean.
Cons: It was a hot day. When we arrived we put the air conditioning on and went out. When we returned the room was like a furnace and when we complained we were told. Too bad. The air conditioning isn't working. When you put it on the heater comes on. You can't control the temperature. It's either on our off! Really NOT acceptable!

10.0 Excellent

Balneario De Arnedillo - Arnedillo - Building
10
8.3 Excellent (1,706 reviews)
7.5 Good
Pros: the therapay staff was friendly, the waiters were attentive..
Cons: my front desk staff were not attentive, the food was not high quality. the dining meals were repetative, and lacked creativity. The cost of room was not worth the meals
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The setting and the staff
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location, food, outdoor pool looks nice. Some people on breakfast/dinning area are working hard, kind and helpful with clients.
Cons: I believe we got the worst room in the old wing. 2 stars rooms priced for 5 stars. Paid 350 for two nights with spa access and breakfast in a max 2 stars room with old furniture and no renovation. Because we rented via Booking, we were announced that we have to pay 6€ each for bathrobe, which I was expecting to be included since the spa access is included (all 4* hotels have bathrobe in the room). The heating is centralized, stopped by night. A timed 30-40min electrical fan is heating the bathroom. You need to switch the knob well in advance before shower... if the water pressure allows you to shower. Door/window towards outside not closing well, low cost, no rubber - cold and noisy. I will recommend to all my friends to avoid that place.
7.1 Good
Cons: marcharme
4.6 Okay
Pros: The room was adequate but the hotel was dated
Cons: We were booked into a message and they kept my wife waiting for 1/2 hour before saying that the person giving the therapy was off sick The swimming facilities indoors were dated and in a poor condition We were told we needed to wear swimming hats and they charged 3€ to wear them
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice quiet room with a view of river; clean; love the baths ; meals were excellent
Cons: Receptionist on arrival was rude and abrupt with us, and then got into a heated argument in front of us with another guest. Thankfully she was not there the rest of days we spent at the Spa and the front desk staff didn’t disappoint. The rooms retain a lot of humidity so a de-humidifier will help to dry all the wet bathrobes and towels.

5.0 Okay
Pros: There was parking space outside. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. Lively restaurant with choice of simple snack foods or main meal menu. Our dinners and breakfast buffet excellent.

Overview Reviews

10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a gym available, I didn't use it as not enough time. The single room was small but did have a tiny balcony and overlooked the rock at the rear. The food was actually very good considering the large numbers catered for and a cooked breakfast was possible as well as the usual self service choices. There was a good cafe/ bar open most of the time and lots of treatments were explained and offered. I didn't use any as it was only an overnight stay for me. There were a few nice looking bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity with good menus and reasonable prices so not necessary to have hotel meals. It was dog friendly and had good parking.
Cons: Very limited outdoor pool access times. Didn't realise not possible to swim first thing in the morning and didn't realise a spa pool was different from a normal swimming pool. People lounge around in the outside pool, unlike a normal swimming pool, it was very difficult to swim lengths and I have MS and it was actually a little too warm for me. The evening meal was at fixed time of 9pm.
7.9 Good
Pros: Large spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the river, super comfortable beds, pleasant public rooms with a good cafe and wonderful thermal spa facilities. Expect to have to see a "doctor" but, fret not, this just involves sitting down with a sales person who gives you prices and schedules your treatments. The best priced package includes breakfast and one 30-minute daily thermal water plunge. Also, recommend eating lunch and/or dinner at the facility since the local restaurant alternatives are not great. You can book additional meals when you arrive at the hotel. Highly recommend booking the Halotherapy treatment which involves inhaling the steam vapor coming straight out of the hill behind the spa.
Cons: First of all, be prepared for an older style spa facility accommodating large numbers of Spanish pensioners who have been going there for many years and simply love it. There is a kind of institutional feeling about the place. If you are driving, the free parking lot is a long walk from the hotel, and the cool water swimming pool is across the street which is somewhat awkward. If you can get over these items, you will enjoy your stay. I don't recommend this property for families with small children.

Cons: No where to park car whilst booking in
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome and facilities, room and pet friendlyness from staff.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. One case in point, when I was checking out I asked the front desk how to get to the bis station. For whatever reason it wasnt coming up on google maps and so he drove me there. He took the time to drive me in his personal vehicle to make sure I didnt miss my bus. When was the last time your hotel had that kind of service for you. The property is nice and in a good location close to restaurants, markets, cafes.
Cons: All good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Central location, nice bed, silent
Cons: Poor options for breakfast, needs a small maintenance with regards to the furniture

6.7 Good
Cons: The room had a small window so high up that you could not see out. You had to stand up on something to see out of it. Not good especially when there were lovely views to be seen outside. The room felt very closed in. It was on the 3th floor.
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast is good and the bedroom with a balcony with nice views. Very quiet place. Smell sulphuric water, but that is normal if it is a natural spring.
Cons: Both saunas were not working. Temperature in the dry sauna was 45 degrees, so no sauna. Other sauna no steam.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful
Cons: Unable to get food in the cafeteria at 2.30 pm (open until 11 pm) but only serving drinks. Having failed to get food earlier we were unable to eat in the restaurant at night as we had not booked. The restaurant never had more than 3 couples in it the whole evening - we could see it from the cafeteria where we were able to get light dishes. The obliging waitress was trying to cope with the cafeteria on her own - with people like us unable to eat in the restaurant Disappointed that at a spa there was no pool in which to swim- website misleading with its tall of a pool - which there is but only with warm water and sprays etc. All very nice but not the same as having a proper swim.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Good with the dog
Cons: Air con in room wasn’t effective. Maintenance man looked and said it was working and marched off leaving us in hit room. Good times are limited
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel possibly from the 1970s, at the border of a very small village. Not much of a cuisine in the village, so you are left with the hotel restaurant only. Large free open parking. Efficient and very friendly staff at the reception and in the spa and very friendly but much less efficient staff in the restaurant and spa ( nearly no english spoken ). Sufficiently spacious rooms and bathrooms, all very well kept and clean including the spa. It is a health spa with hot mineral water. The spa is open only in some very exact hours, in between guests should rest. The Spa itself with hot and wet sauna and inside hot pool containing several whirl pools is included in the price; concerning this the hotel offers a _ r e a l l y _ o u t s t a n d i n g _ relation value for money. But additonal health applications are rather or even very expensive. WIFI in the afternoon rather poor, but quite well in the night.
Cons: Completely in contrast to the health spa most of the food was very heavy in calories or even in fat; many things deep fried or very fat pork. Food quality in the sense of taste rather mediocre or even poor. Breakfast buffet ok, but not too much variety. You have to book your times for the spa and for the restaurant in advance and have to respect them quite exactly. This is no problem for guests who will stay at least for one week but could be a problem for those to stay only one night. But I did really have an excellent white wine for dinner.
6.7 Good
Pros: We were able to have our little dog there. Lovely view in daylight, quiet, nice starter and dessert for our meal.
Cons: It was soulless, smelt heavily of sulphur, because it is a spa maybe? Not overly friendly staff other than one waitress who was charming. Very tough steak.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff was helpful and kind.

Very close to open air thermal springs for free bathing and opposite luxury spa for top treatments and luxury pools. Hotel has discounts for spa access & treatments. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable room. Good blackout & quiet at the back of the hotel. The restaurant food was OK but basic & reasonable value. Not haute cuisine but this is a commercial hotel [with a kids play area]. We booked the hotel as it is easy to find & access, with plenty of free safe parking outside. We also booked the hotel to take advantage of the swim deal i.e. inclusive admission to the nearby indoor/outdoor pool.
Cons: As with many budget Spanish hotels the state of repair of the room was lacking, One bedside lamp fitting did not work and the shower curtain rail was broken and fell down initially when used.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nada.
Cons: Book having paid extra for pool which was shown in photos, only to learn that it was municipal, a quarter mile away. No restaurant as it was closed on Sunday evening, even though told by staff that it was open. Not good.

Cons: The staff were great and very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
