Pros: Nicely decorated rooms and lovely staff - very welcoming and accommodating.
Cons: Very thin walls and creaky floors - means if people in other rooms are moving about it’s impossible to sleep. Also our room was over the kitchen - we had to have the window open as it was hot weather and the cooking smells that came up were a bit overpowering.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was fabulous!! The building was absolutely charming and as we were visiting our childhood it was very convenient.
Cons: My son his wife and 5 year old child were in a room with too much road noise and the motor from possibly the chiller went on and off all might. Also the extractor fan from the restaurant was outside their room making it very smelly. at the price we paid we really need someone to help carrying the bags up the stairs. There were a lot of little stairs going up and down all very charming but not with heavy suitcases.

5.5 Okay
Pros: Great looking property with superb character, good food and friendly staff
Cons: The room (an exec room) that we were allocated was disappointingly characterless and located in an annex to the main hotel. The room was on the small aide and the bed was a basic double. I am sure the hotel haven’t misrepresented anything but it just wasn’t our expectation for the amount we paid...

7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely breakfast, building and location.

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice gardens. Good breakfast and fab staff.
Cons: The bathroom was grubby, the sink was broken. I refused to shower there! Really was a big let down. And the biggest issue we had is the really bad night sleep we had. Someone was walking around at 2 am and it sounded like it was in our room. It was so loud, I honestly thought a room was being serviced. Sleep is the biggest thing someone goes to a hotel for and for that reason I wouldn’t stay again. I felt so ill the following day and we were heading into central London for a hospital appointment! The whole idea of going there the day before so we didn’t have to get up early.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Breakfast was amazing.
Cons: The food, service and everything was amazing. There's nothing we didn't like.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: - Wasps nest outside the room - Loud neighbors banging on doors in the middle of the night - Towels were on the floor on arrival - Very odd/suspicious dirt marks all around the room - Very hot and stuffy
6.3 Good
Pros: The approach to the hotel was lovely and the lady on reception was very helpful. Breakfast was good and the pool was a bonus.
Cons: They put us in their conference centre, if you hear them say 'the mews' when checking in, be prepared to be underwhelmed. The room was dated, hot, small, glum, walls were covered the scuff marks, sink plug hole had hair in (lovely) basically think poor mans Travel Lodge / Premier Inn... which is fine, I have nothing against. But when you tell your wife, I have booked somewhere nice, it is a bit of a gutter. STOP YOUR FALSE REPRESENTATION OF ROOMS IN PHOTOS

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel - enormous room and bathroom.

Cons: The state of the stair carpet was hideous
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff v friendly and situated in beautiful surroundings!

Pros: It is a really quaint pub, staff friendly and room I lovely with some nice finishing touches. The beer garden was nice I really liked the reclaimed pallets. We took this as a bed for the night before a race, great nights sleep. We were facing the road but it was no noisier than what we were used to. Only downside was I was looking forward to my four poster room and you upgraded me and I didn’t have the heart to tell you as it was a lovely gesture
Cons: We were meant to have breakfast to take away. We asked twice and someone was meant to check but never came back. We were sorted but a trip to a local shop so didn’t ruin the trip.

Pros: Breakfast was good, nothing elaborate, but good basic cereal, jams & marmalade, toast, croissants. Coffee was excellent but a shame it was brewed in a single cup coffee press as a second cup would have been nice some mornings. A nice touch was that we were offered every morning a choice of poached, scrambled or boiled eggs which made the continental breakfast even better.
Cons: The wifi was very weak in our 2nd floor bedroom which caused me some problems with down loading various documents that I needed to look at &the ethernet connection wasn't any better. I was going to try down in the dining room but didnt get around to it so not sure if the signal was better there. I was hoping to have a choice of meats & cheeses with my continental breakfast but in the end had sufficient to eat with the choice on the breakfast buffet table.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: For caringness of the owner her friendliness and dedication to her job/ business is seeable Giving In the way she treats her guest. A warm welcome kindness at breakfast and a kind Farewell was given to all staying .
Cons: For the price I paid I could not dislike anything as the house was adequate the room was adequate. It would be hard to this bed and breakfast down in any way
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Could have had a full English breakfast as we were travelling quite a way.

Cons: A little noisy with work going on around
10.0 Excellent
Pros: all was excellent
6.8 Good
Pros: This was a last minute booking to meet a need to be in the area. Didn't stay for breakfast (early rise). First room was in 156 building, and was hot/ stuffy, with windows onto main road. Reception were VERY helpful in proposing alternative in another building with more parking. This room was also fairly basic, but quieter and more windows for ventilation.
Cons: Quality of furnishings is basic and dated. Bed was lumpy and creaked. No bedside reading light.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good rooms for the price Friendly staff
Cons: Parking space quite limited WiFi not free
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Love the kitchenette, bathroom and even the single bed was so comfortable I slept, and I hardly sleep.
Cons: Noisy neighbours
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean , bright and spacious with all the facilities i needed, eg pots, pans, cups, plates ,towels etc
Cons: I would have liked large mugs to drink in. Plus wasn’t happy about check put time. Extra charge was too high. More vegetarian/halal options for breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms Hot water Regular room maintenance Friendly staff Nearby Aldi and Lidl and take aways Nice environment No pests TV with clear reception Overall really good experience. It is a must visit for those planning to stay in high Wycombe.
Cons: Nothing as such
5.6 Okay
Pros: Good value for money
Cons: The bedroom was like a sauna, re requested to turn the radiator in our room off, we were told we would have to wait for the heating to go off at 11pm We came home in the early hours of the morning, we were asked by staff to keep the noise level down(fair enough) so we made an effort to be quiet(we were even wispering) but the staff still came and told us we had to go to sleep!!!
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: it was cleaned every day, there was a heater in the room
Cons: there is no such "Hotel", and I have never seen such tiny room, couldn't use any of my electronic device, the adapter could not been provided, so far from reception, railway is so close, only 5 TV channels
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The cheep food at the White Horse an Bird in the Hand pubs just across the road. An the free internet for keeping in touch with home.
Cons: The room was not exactly next door but more like a half mile walk down west wycombe road. You check in at No. 156 an your room could be in any property along the road. The room i was in was at No. 84A. The room was like a box room with thin walls so i could hear everthing going on, not good when your working nights.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: full English breakfast was cooked to perfection!
Cons: The noise of traffic from main road
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Worst hotel we have ever stayed in ; paid for 2 nights and stayed for only one in order to get out asap Room awful ; beds awful; shower/bathroom so tiny as to be almost inaccessible! Access to room up very steep stairs in annexe . Room on very busy main road ; very noisy ; hardly any safe parking .Annexe far too far from reception. No phone communication to main hotel from annexe.
7.3 Good
Pros: The cleaniness of the rooms was excellent, We stayed for my daughters graudation, there was five of us in total excellent space and layout of rooms!
Cons: could do with a few more mugs in the kitchen as there was only two =)
