Cons: No Air Conditioner!?! At the very least, a hotel needs to have Air Conditioning. There was a fan in the room!!
Pros: The location was great (easy walking distance to central station) and the rooms were were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was great as well.
Cons: A false fire alarm went off at 4:30AM the first night of my stay.
Pros: Small room, without a/c so we open the window and it was a little bit noisy, breakfast was really nice in a big and nice room.
The stand was very helpful
Pros: Great location, steps to the central train station (15 min. ride to the airport). The room was very comfortable, well appointed, and extremely clean, while and the lobby a great place to relax and the garden and sidewalk tables and chairs are perfect for smokers. Excellent value for the price.
Cons: Rooms do not have air conditioner and, while the city's temperature in August was cool, keeping the windows open at night was not an option because of the street noises generated by people. The staff graciously gave us a second room, which was significantly better in terms of noise, but you still could hear people eating breakfast in the garden
Pros: No complaints whatsoever. Room waa very clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Loxation is aupwr convenient for getting to/from the main train station.
Pros: It's within easy walking distance to the central station . Loved the room! Clean, functional and modern.
Cons: I liked everything about the hotel.
Pros: The hiotel is very well lcoated, minutes away from Tivoli Garden and the central station. It's clean, with very pretty rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice, in a big, bright room. It also has a very welcoming reception, where you can sit and relax while planning your day or waiting for your friends to get ready.
Cons: The wifi signal in the bedrooms was weak. At night, the area is a bit noisy and in the middle of the red light district.
Pros: It was a nice room, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast, and convenient location.
Pros: We stayed in the annex, Absalon City Hotel's cheap section. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to everything in Copenhagen, especially Tivoli Gardens.
Cons: Part of staying in the annex is shared bathroom facilities - the only downside. However, this is what you pay for in the cheaper lodging in the annex, so it's definitely a good value.
Pros: The staff was helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very pretty. My room was small and expensive, but reasonable compared to most places in Copenhagen.
Cons: My room didn't come with a breakfast. It's not a big thing, I'm just saying.
Pros: Clean, comfy, nice rooms. Good location, right near main metro but in a quiet area.
Cons: They put us in the Annex rather than the Hotel-- so shared bathrooms and shared shower for 20 rooms (instead of the hotel's usual private bathroom). We had booked via kayak for 'hotel' at their lowest room price ($96), but there was no mention in the booking that it was just for the Annex, so I felt downgraded without notification-- the price was a bit high for a hostel (but not totally unreasonable-- the place is very nice). The Annex is more like a Hostel and was fine for 1 night, but probably not useful for folks who want their own bathroom.
Pros: The location was great, along with the lobby and staff.
Cons: Nowhere on the website did I find pictures of the part of the hotel where I stayed. Different rooms.

Pros: Location good near metro stations and easy to access from airport.
Cons: Incredibly hot in the summer. No AC. Rooms pretty uncomfortable.
Pros: Good room layout, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Location close to Tivoli gardens, and bike rentals available!
Cons: No air conditioning, though opening a window with the provided fan was just fine. Rooms were clean, but not best maintained over the years.
Pros: The rooms with enough space
Pros: The rooms are confortable and clean. Location is not for who want to have sightseeing in the old town, cause you get 10 minutes walk only to be in the beginning of the area. But for business is ok, very close to the congress hall.
Cons: In the kitchen there is exhauster but there is no stove, no pan or skillet, only microwaves! I had to ask specially for me to get this stuff. The cabinet above the CD Player (see room 104) need to be urgently moved from there! Me and my guests hit the head many times each day in the corner, when we operate the player. It could kill some one.
Pros: The hotel rooms have a little kitchen, living room with dining table and separate bedroom, very functional.
Cons: Not really cozy. There is no real lobby and the inside of the hotel is also very functional and a bit boring. More a cheaper and clean (from the looks) business conference hotel.
Pros: We enjoyed having a kitchen, dining room table & living room separate from the bedroom. It was very comfortable and was close to all attractions.
Pros: The staff were always helpful and pleasant at the reception area. Location was ideal for visiting central area of Copenhagen on foot or by metro/train. I enjoyed having an apartment with balcony as the weather was good and the view enjoyable.
Cons: Buffet breakfast seemed expensive to me, though there was a good choice of dishes.
Pros: that it was roamy...had separate living room
Cons: the hotell staff were not that friendly or knowledgeable to help us around on our first day...........had to figure things out for ourselves,,,,,,,,,didn't seem to be set p for tourists, but for business people who were fimiliar with copenhagen
Pros: on walking distance from interesting points - parking near
Cons: -some repairments need to be done- time of breakfast should be lengthened till 10.30
Pros: Hotel has changed owners February 09. Cleaner than previous reviews suggest, fresh towels, clean bathroom, toilet rolls etc.
Cons: Requested but did not get room away from traffic noise. No CNN or BBC, no Danish TV station with Champions League football. A bit too "Ikea", needs some human touches.
Pros: the hotel staff was excellent!!!
Pros: the size of the room is good.
Cons: We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and something inconvenient happened for everyday that we were there. When we checked in, we were given a room that has not been cleaned. We didn’t let it bother us too much thinking that everyone can make a mistake.
Featuring an organic breakfast buffet, this hotel is situated 0.6 miles from Copenhagen Central Station. Each spacious suite has a flat-screen TV. The hotel features a rooftop cafe. WiFi is free. All apartments at Manon Les Suites feature a four-poster bed as well as a kitchenette with a fridge and coffee/tea facilities. Organic toiletries are available in the private bathroom. A fitness room and indoor pool are free to access for all guests. Manon Les Suites is a 7-minute walk from Vesterport Train Station, while the local bus stops just 460 feet away. The main shopping street, Strøget, and Tivoli Gardens are both within a 10-minute walk of the hotel.
Pros: Excellent view. Very nice room and bathroom. Very modern design.
Cons: Location is a distance from restaurants but is close to a train station.
Pros: The staff were not just professional but incredibly nice. I would stay here again without a 2nd thought. Christian at the front desk was incredibly helpful not just during check-in but also when guiding us about sightseeing.
The room design is absolutely lovely. It is a pleasure to walk into a hotel with such thoughtful design.
Breakfast was an excellent spread too. Nothing that I felt was missing.
Cons: There were some minor issues with the room - previous occupant threw stuff down the drain that clogged the sink. I feel cleaning staff should have notified maintenance since it was a significant clog but the staff were incredibly responsive when I reported it. One thing that I didn't care for was the half length glass protection in the shower. I found it took too much effort to not splash water outside the tub.
Pros: The rooms were clean. I loved the modern feel of The Island and the view was beautiful.
Cons: Far from the city center but it was close to the train so that made up for it.
Pros: The waterfront is beautiful and very new.
Cons: The location is not close to anything. Additionally the beds were too soft and bouncy.
Pros: Hotel was modern, clean and overall it was a nice stay. Quality of the free breakfast was better than most. The hotel is close to the hop-on hop-off boat and bus stop, so if you buy the 48 hour sight seeing tour you can hop on the boat that takes you to several stops around the city... This almost makes up for the hotels fairly poor location...
Cons: Location is on the outskirts of the city so it's about a 15-20 minute walk into the city... We had a problem with our room keys where they didn't work and we had to get new keys at the front desk... This happened twice... and the second time was after breakfast on the day we were checking out... I had to wait about 10 minutes in a line at the front desk to get new keys...
Cons: the air conditioning was not working at all, the hotel was hot and humid and to sleep you had to have the windows open but the road noise was appaling, thooughly uncomfortable night.
Copenhagen Island Hotel sits right on the harbor within easy reach of the city center. Nearby Dybbølsbro Station is 1 stop from Copenhagen Central, and City Hall Square is a 25-minute walk. Fisketorvet, one of the city's largest shopping, entertainment, and dining complexes, is next door.
Set on a farm, Ryethøjgård Bed & Breakfast is 5 minutes’ drive from Værløse. It provides free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped shared kitchen. Rooms include a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Ryethøjgård’s simply decorated guest rooms feature a small table with 2 chairs. All offer views of the surrounding countryside. Toilets and showers are shared. Guests can unwind and chat with others in the spacious common room, which has a TV, an internet computer and a selection of books and magazines. Other facilities include 2 furnished terraces and a garden. The shared bathroom is equipped with a spa bath. Copenhagen city centre is less than a 30-minute drive from Ryethøjgård, and Værløse Golf Club is about 0.6 miles away. The Furesø lake, 1.2 miles from the B&B, provides opportunities for swimming and fishing.
Enjoy your visit to Kirke Saaby with a stay at Torkilstrup Guesthouse. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer living rooms and refrigerators.
Cons: Poor service. From not helping with luggage, making excuses, promising shuttles at wrong times etc. I'd stay away from this property l. Marriott should really review the management here.
Pros: Front desk staff friendly and efficient
Pros: Striking design, great staff.
Cons: empty area of the city, although 2 blocks to Metro.
Pros: Loved the views at night with the floor to ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was a good size by European standards and included breakfast was plentiful.
Cons: Shower did not drain properly, TV would not turn on so access to some services was not possible.
Pros: We were most impressed by the front desk staff's level of professionalism and friendliness. They were very well trained and had many suggestions regarding our overnight stay in Copenhagen. The airport shuttle worked both ways (to/from) the hotel. The room was amazing.
Pros: We stayed only one night pre-cruise, but enjoyed the contemporary flair of the hotel and the views from our room on the 23rd floor. Included breakfast was satisfying. At first we were a little intimidated by the walk to the Metro, but it was closer than we thought and very simple to use. The price we paid through Kayak was excellent, too!
Cons: While the Metro was convenient to the hotel, the hotel wasn't that convenient to anything else but the airport. Might be great for the conference attendee, but not so much for an eager, wide-eyed, first-time visitor to Copenhagen.
Pros: Outstanding views. Loved the beds. Soaking tub in bath.Room darkening shades. Buffet breakfast was very busy but there was a huge variety of food to meet tastes of many cultures. Downtown Copenhagen is 5 stops by Metro. Excellent conference center with multiple theaters and support services. Even has a huge Coi fish pond and a modern windmill outside.
Cons: Location is not in the city but Metro stop is only one block away. Denmark is expensive. Hotel has several restaurants that serve great, really expensive, food. Don't be shy about using metro to access shops and restaurants. Shuttle to airport was booked by the time checked in so we took taxi to airport.
Pros: Building is Danish Modern, close to metro, breakfast buffet, and very green building
Pros: It looked amazing and was excited to stay.
Cons: Even though I was prepaid they sold my room to someone else. Then I was loaded in 3 different taxis until they found one that was willing to take me to the hotel they were sending me to. The hotel they sent me to was under construction and would not honor the breakfast that was included in my booking. No Marriott's for me for a while
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful! From the great breads to the juice ipad to the yogurt bar, sliced cheese contraption, and the fresh homemade lemonades/teas. We left every day stuffed and skipped lunch.
Extremely efficient - even on New Years when everyone in the building seemed to be checking out, staff were able to get through a line of people backed around to the elevators in about 15 minutes.
The building is stunning.
Cons: You might think it's far removed from downtown by looking at a map, but it's only a 10 minute trip downtown and a train ticket is easy to acquire.
The beds were two twins pushed together, basically, which is not the most ideal setup for a couple. Also, the down comforter was SO warm that I was sweating through the sheets...which is unusual.
Pros: We've just stayed 4 nights in the Bella Sky Comwell in Copenhagen. The hotel is beautifully designed - with its two leaning towers it is a design I've never seen anywhere else. The hotel is located just 3 minutes walk from the metro, there is a bus station right in front of the hotel and the train station is just one metro station away. It is about 10 minutes drive from the airport when the roads are empty. they have a shuttle to and from the airport most of the time. The room was pretty - and looking at the cold weather outside from the 21st floor made it look better. The room is not too big but large enough, a nice TV set, lamps for reading in bed, there is a nice bathroom, a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee. The staff was very helpful and their English was perfect. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The Library restaurant has a small selection of plates but what we've tried was very good. The grill restaurant was OK but the prices are high - as anywhere in this city. All in all - we had a great weekend vacation.
Pros: The rooms are large and modern. The room rate includes free breakfast & WiFi, a free airport shuttle, and there are Metro & bus stations in easy walking distance, so downtown Copenhagen and the rest of Denmark are easily reached via public transport. Not much history and atmosphere compared to the older hotels in the city, but can't beat the value (when there is no major exposition at the Bella Center).
Cons: On the down-side- The hotel location itself is pretty isolated- if you want to eat a meal away from the hotel, you will need to take the Metro. Also, there can be a lot of tourist bus traffic- the breakfast room gets overwhelmed, as does the front desk at checkout.
Unlike most US travel industry, their website does not give the lowest rates- I usually go to one of the travel websites to get a much lower rate than the hotel's direct booking website, and have found that often a rate search conducted from a Danish IP address gets a significantly lower rate than from a US IP address (and sometimes the reverse!)

Pros: Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, in the near of the central station
Cons: The double bed room was very uncomfortable,
you can not lock the room, its like the cellar room:
The waste pipe of the upper room is in this room over the bed and when it is used very noisy!!
The bed is very uncomfortable.
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Very, very basic accommodation

Pros: Budget friendly hotel conveniently located within walking distance to all the major attractions. Hotel had air conditioning in the room and an excellent breakfast buffet. Well stocked with lots of seating.
Located in Copenhagen City Centre, this hotel is steps from Hans Christian Andersen Fairy-Tale House and City Hall Square. Stroeget and Tivoli Gardens are also within 5 minutes.
Cons: This isn't really a dislike, just be aware the smaller rooms are REALLY small, if this is an issue, opt for one size larger
Cons: We received an email prior to checking in asking what time we would arrive . We explained 10 am due to leaving cruise ship they said no problem we will have your room ready . When we arrived they had no knowledge of letter and no room until late afternoon and a lobby full of people. They asked if they could put us in another hotel. We agreed. The location was not nearly as good . They double charged us for a room. It was hot . No hvac on top floor. Very dirty carpets and furniture. No wake up call as requested .
Pros: stylish, good location
Cons: Similar to other reviewers, had problems with booking through Kayak. Getaroom.com did not forward $$$ to hotel. Double charged. Had to call credit card company to put a hold on kayak charge made 2 months earlier.
Pros: Good location, interesting design
Cons: I made a reservation via Kayak for November 28th, and arrived from a trans-atlantic flight in the evening to prepare for a dinner at geranium. The lobby is a confused wine-bar/check-in hybrid and between serving drinks, and chatting with a friend the person at the desk told me after 10 minutes there was a problem with my reservation. After another 5 minutes she told me that due to issues with the online reservation agent the hotel had decided to no longer accept bookings and had cancelled my reservation. After approximately another 5 minutes of me trying to understand how this could have happened with a confirmed reservation and reservation number in hand, she told me that the online agent had been informed and that it was their responsibility to inform me - predictably this turned into a she-said/he-said with the online agent subsequently stating that no such conversation had occured. Finally another 5 minutes in, I prevailed upon the person at reception to call my favourite hotel in Copenhagen (which was supposed to be fully booked) and beg for a room. This was finally done and I left. Sadly I was forced to return and actually stay at sp34 due to a strong masochistic streak and a non-refundable booking made prior to my first dealings with them.
Sadly sp34 continued in what I can only describe as the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered in Europe. The check in again was confused. The hallways were frigid and the rooms cold. My room a deluxe double, apparently one step below their suite was exactly 11 feet by 15 feet and was tragically decorated in a style you could charitably call "Danish hipster" but which I would relabel nonsensical uncomfortable and bourgeois. The room was claustrophobic and looked out over the main street where at exactly 4:30 AM deliveries began and garbage was removed. The water pressure was poor the shower difficult to direct and the towels appeared to have been remade from recycled cardboard. Having to check out at 6:45 AM to make a flight I inquired since I had paid for a breakfast and thought it started at 6:30 if I could take something to go? Sadly by this point I was not surprised to hear that I would be charged 15 DKK for a danish and no rebate would be offered for uneaten breakfast.... I left not feeling hungry at all.
I would beg those of you who expect a contemporary tasteful danish hotel experience to stay ANYWHERE else. The sp34 may be in its infancy but I anticipate this hotel is never going to amount to more than mediocre service and offer pretentions to ill-defined danish cool.
Pros: The hotel was in a great location and had a convonvient bar in the lobby. The rooms we clean and the bed was comfortable!
Pros: Hotel didn't have the reservations I'd made with Kayak and double-charged me even though I specifically did not authorize it.
Cons: Didn't like much of what was dealt at this hotel.
Located in Copenhagen City Centre, this eco-friendly hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Light Theatre and City Hall Square. Stroeget and Tivoli Gardens are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: Great common areas and bar area. Fun decor and amazingly nice staff.
Cons: Can be pricey for a hostel but it's in demand in the area so I get it.
Pros: How easy it was to check in and out
Cons: Not too much
Pros: As hostels go, this is a great one. Well thought out and hip. Attention is paid to what economy travelers on the go need.
Generator Copenhagen is within a 10-minute walk of Kongens Nytorv Metro and Nørreport Station, offering quick access to the busiest railway hub in Denmark. Guests can reach Rosenborg Castle Garden in 2 minutes on foot, or stroll 10 minutes to Strøget, a street lined with shops and restaurants.
Pros: Location. Close to attractions like little mermaid, and the waterfront.
Price. Reasonable in a very expensive city.
Facilities. quite good.
Staff. Very friendly
Cons: Price of food, but high food price is usual in Copenhagen.
Pros: The easy access this hotel has to many of the sites that are to be seen in Copenhagen. This hotel is only worth it, if you wish to have easy access to everything. I would not recommend staying at this hotel if individuals wish to have a nice hotel experience. My wife and I realized it was not worth staying at this hotel.
Cons: We did not like that the rooms were way too small. The rooms portrayed online and through the websites make the rooms appear bigger than they are. It was hard for my wife and I to move around and we only had backpacks with us.
The bathroom was another story and we hated it. The bathroom floor is literally one floor where you stand on which you shower, go bathroom, and use the mirror. The toilet holder was barely holding onto the wall and fell off a couple times and the towel holders were in the same condition.

Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails and kayaking, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and buffet breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10 AM. Other highlights include a terrace and a garden.
Situated by the ocean, Comwell Køge Strand is a great choice for a stay in Koge. After getting a workout at the fitness center, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Other highlights at this upscale hotel include a terrace and a garden, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and room service.
Pros: Located in the "cheap hotel district" this is exactly what we were hoping for from our stay! Terrific location (next door to the main train station), clean hotel, nice staff with easy check-in/check-out process, and a breakfast buffet that gives you a little taste of what the food will be like! Enjoyed our stay!
Cons: Rooms are small which we knew. Also, buffet does get crowded as others have mentioned but would recommend for a fine spread of bread, meat, eggs, and some fruit! Would also recommend bringing your own soap/shampoo.
Pros: Great location. Close to central station. Great service from the front desk. Good breakfast.
Cons: Some rooms require to take few steps of stairs with no ramp. Not good with big luggage (or elderly).
Pros: Staff was great in every way that a professional and friendly staff should be.
Cons: No real dislikes, just meager breakfast buffet and somewhat small room.
Pros: Just a block from the train station, comfortable beds, good continental breakfast.
Cons: Room was pretty small and Spartan, no suitcase stands or toiletries, very few power outlets especially near beds. No air conditioning and heater did not work. Midweek price was way too high--I wouldn't pay more than $200 out the door...
Located in the trendy Vesterbro quarter of Copenhagen, just 100 metres from the central train station Most major attractions within walking distance Tivoli Gardens, Town Hall Square & main shopping street are all less than than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. An abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants, shops & amenities are all minutes away
Cons: the hotel was not in full capacity in low season. the room given to us was all the way in the back next to the dumpster with utilities view. When requested a different room with a more decent view, received the same response of having no other room in the same category and requested higher price for a different room. My reservation was not cheap, and i don't think is fair to be in an unpleasant room when the hotel has available capacity to make its guests´stay pleasant.
Pros: The hotel is very nice inside, the staff was friendly and relatively quick to serve you. The hotel was located right in the center of the city, so far everything is a short walk. The hotel appeared clean, it was beautifully decorated with fall decor when we stood there. The rooms themselves were clean with no odors or anything like that. Overall the hotel was a good experience.
Cons: The hotel rooms were nice but they were a bit small. Our room faced a brick wall so there was no view, nada. When we got to the hotel at 4pm they told us that the room wasn't ready, which was annoying. Aside from that our experience at the hotel was pleasurable.
Pros: Staff was wonderful, everybody spoke perfect English and were very helpful! Breakfast was worth the price. Would highly recommend it for location and staff!
Cons: Rooms were a little smaller than we expected.
Pros: Location was premium. Central to everything. I found the staff very accommodating & friendly.
Cons: There was an underlying unpleasant smell in the room. Couldn't tell what it was.
Pros: Great location, small but very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast.
Cons: Front desk staff were a bit brusque (on previous visits, they have been very friendly).
Pros: I had low expectation as Copenhagen hotels are expensive and you don't get much for your money. We stayed at Square for $250/night including breakfast, wifi and taxes. Room was decent size for a European hotel. Breakfast buffet selection was sufficient. Location is central. Overall, I would stay at the hotel again.
Overlooking the Rådhuspladsen from which it takes its name, The Square, Copenhagen is right in the city center. Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen Central Station are only 5 minutes away, while the colorful canalside bars of Nyhavn are a 20-minute walk along Strøget, the city's main pedestrian street.
Pros: Easy walking to all sites, located on the pedestrian area... The Stroget, close to the metro too.
Wonderful coffee shops all around, and a running sushi place too.
Pros: Perfect location, right next to the University
Cons: Rooms for a hotel in this category are a bit spartan. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. Biggest problem was the noise. It was late September and the weather was not hot, not cold. The hotel had turned on the heat, despite my trying to turn it off. The heat was considerable. I opened the windows to get fresh air and keep the room bearable, but the street noise (all night) was incredibly loud. The hotel is right next to the University, so it was not a surprise as students come home from the bars (until 6am), but it led to a night of little sleep.
Pros: Excellent reception, comfortable beds, quiet area, very good breakfast
Pros: Great Location, can't be beat!
Cons: a little rundown; the floors used to be warmed, but the staff removed the switches to warm the tiles... kind of cheap.
VERY expensive for what was offered over $40 US for an OK breakfast... but then Denmark is expensive.
stay for the location, but don't expect a value
Located in Copenhagen City Centre, this luxury hotel is within a 5-minute walk of University of Copenhagen, Stroeget, and Round Tower. City Hall Square and Christiansborg Palace are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: Great location across from Tivoli and train station, near main walking street.
Pros: The location eight next to the train station
Cons: When we arrived after an overnight flight, feeling very tired, the hotel computer was down and we had to wait for a coup[e of hours in the lobby for it to be fixed.
The hotel should have made some sort of small gesture to compensate us for this.
Also the breakfast included thawed frozen fruit which had turned rancid one day. The next hotel in Bergen had FRESH fruit. like melon, cantaloupe and kiwi. was was cut up and delicious.
Pros: Staff was awesome.
Cons: The towel I used in the AM looked like someone had previosly used it for toilet paper. Grossed me out. Not something you'd expect at a higher $ hotel.
Pros: Nice big workout facility.
Pros: I like the location, it was perfect. TThe first stay there, I wasn't as enamored as I became with the second stay. First time the room was a bit cramped and a bit worn, the second stay the room was much improved. Good service and very helpful staff.
Cons: The firstt time we were there, the room was a bit tired and need to be redone. The second time there we had a remodeled room that was great.
