Pros: On a winters day in Greyton what could be more enticing than a couple of whiskies in front of a log fire in the bar and then sneaking under generous duvet for a wonderful nights sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed at the Post House a few times and really enjoy the place. Met the new owner, John, and really happy to see the positive changes he's made to the place. Greyton is a fantastic little weekend getaway from the city and the Post House is always a great place to stay and relax. Staff are amazing, the place has a real charm and breakfasts are always filling.
Cons: We always have a good stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent - right in the middle of all the restaurants and a short walk to the Sat morning market.
Cons: Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances a water pipe had burst in the main road so we didn’t have any water the first night and the second night there was no hot water. The breakfast could do with improving - not value for money at all.

Pros: Great location in the center of town, lovely amenities and very comfortable beds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The clean, neat and welcoming environment.
Cons: The check-in process and obtaining the Wi-Fi key since there is no cell phone reception.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the main de Hoop Victorian House and its adjoining de Hoop Cottage. both were excellent in every respect and very well equipped, and comfortable. Their location was very close (walking distance) from the centre of Greyton, and from the many walking and MTB trails that surround this beautiful village. It was very relaxing and we were able to braai every night.
Cons: The upstairs floorboards in de Hoop cottage were very creaky, so make sure your guests dont wander around at night!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location was nice on the farm. Lovely view from the patio.
Cons: The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the cottage very basic, with the stove not working properly, the shower drain blocked and the fridge leaking water.
7.5 Good
Pros: The large 5 bedroom house very well furnished and well located in Greyton was the best place for a large group like ours. We had a very good time
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The fridge didn't really get very cold.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the location, its close to everything and you can walk everywhere you wanna go. The bed was awesome and we rested very well!
Cons: The aircon in the main bedroom needs and upgrade. We took our dogs but the enclosure is quite open so they could easily wonder to the property next door which was not ideal. The braai area is very windy. Not much privacy if someone stays in the main house, they are really close together. Would have loved daily cleaning incluced in the price. O and there is NO WIFI!!... So for the price you pay there is a lot more they can offer.
7.0 Good
Pros: We have been coming to Oewerzight for years - extremely relaxing, great views and it is pet friendly. 15min drive to Greyton centre and there is zero to no cellphone reception which is AMAZING if you want to break free. We also paid an extra R500 for a donkey boiler (hot tub) that they placed on our stoep. just amazing.
Cons: 2 things impacted our stay.. 1) We arrived on the Friday and there was a controlled fire on another farm that got out of hand. Was not within the control of Oewerzight but regardless it was something we didnt like. 2) 3am our Geyser pipe (outside of cottage) popped off and water was gushing out - I ran to the car and grabbed some cable ties and did a quick fix. Reported this to Oewerzight but not received a response. not ideal way to wake up. Also I understand that there is nothing Oewerzight could do to control the geyser pipe :)
7.5 Good
Pros: I found the staff at the reception were very welcoming. We were just not sure what to expect with regards to the gravel road, but the road through Greyton to Oewerzicht wasn't too bad. Not knowing the area we weren't sure how far it was from town and The Blue Hippo where we attended a wedding. The bathroom was beautiful with a view to outside, there was not bath.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious accommodation, comfortable living room, modern bathroom
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast included in the price. Located in the garden centre, so doing a nice work around the gardens was a bonus.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice Location, property is cosy. Staff and owner are super friendly and kind. Great hospitality, and the breakfast! OMG! Super tasty!
Cons: It would have been nice to have a couch on the ground floor instead of the wing back chairs. Would have preferred a double bed upstairs. It would have been nice to have a television upstairs. Nothing too hectic, maybe a split signal from downstairs to upstairs
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful, and the host Andrew and Marcelle was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed having the four legged friends walking around during our stay. Thomas and Summer. It was really a home away from home experience.
Cons: It was not bad at all, at times it just felt a little weird with the rowdy kids playing right in front of our cottage. By no means was it unpleasant, just a slight distraction.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Calmness, cleanliness, manners of staff and owners
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hosts and staff were all friendly and helpful, room was spacious, clean and well equipped and offers very good value, location is convenient for walking to local restaurants and shops and the nursery setting adds to the character of the accommodation.Breakfast fruit pancakes were unique and very tasty!
Cons: A slight trade off to the convenient location could be some background noise when the next door restaurant has live music but there is nothing not to like about Fiore.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good breakfast. I especially enjoyed the pancake starter filled with fresh fruits and yogurt. Followed by the classic bacon and eggs. Topped off with a fresh cup of real coffee. We had breakfast included in our stay, I would most definitely stay here again.
Cons: I'm quite tall and the sloped roof was a bit tricky otherwise it was a great stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was more than I needed! Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge. If one stays longer, it would be so helpful to have a fully equipped kitchen. The beds was good with electric blankets and a gas heater as well. The breakfast which was included was absolutely fantastic!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner Andrew was very lovely and the rooms were perfectly comfortable. Andrew gave us plenty of information about the area and wonderful recommendations. Breakfast was just delicious. Such a huge variety of plants in the garden centre too. A definite favorite in Greyton.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Andrew and Marcelle were amazing hosts.
Cons: everything was great.

Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely staff, great restaurant at the front of the property, good food, great fire going, and excellent craft beer. Very pleasant supper. We didn't have our breakfasts there.
Cons: Very smoky fireplace in the lounge - all our clothes smelled like smoke. Struggled with it all weekend. Wood was damp. Fairly useless oven / stove in the kitchen area. Very cold upstairs in the bedroom - no heating at all. Didn't like the position of the shower upstairs - placed at the top of the stairs and completely visible to the lounge area downstairs. Bathroom way too open-plan for our liking. Felt that it was a bit expensive for what was given. Lovely location though, and very friendly hosts.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: If you enjoy being in the activity part of town this is a great spot. It has an active brewery which makes the place interesting and all the beers are for sale which you can sit and enjoy outside watching the world go by. In walking distance of all the restaurants and shops around town. The unit had a great fireplace which worked very well. Parking on the property off the road.
6.8 Good
Pros: The beer was exceptional. The cat was really sweet (needs a de-flea). Friendly towns people and staff. Very relaxing vibe.
Cons: It seemed as if the town was not prepared for guests. Shops were closed and restaurants ran out of stock. Town seems to shut down between 8-9pm so nit much to do if you're a night owl who likes to have late dinners. The rooms we booked looked nothing like those advertised. Nails in the walls with no pictures, uneven floors (watch your step), toilets very high for short people, floor towel in the bathroom was stained from bleach. No TV as advertised (turned out to be a blessing).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Greyton is great, accommodation was very nice and staff very helpful.
Cons: No WiFi in the room
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The room was clean, neat and had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the garden, which is a joy to behold.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely comfortable bed and spacious, modern bathroom with instant hot water. Fantastic.
Cons: No television in rooms nor in the common area. The property was eerily quiet and empty, but this could be a plus if you're after secluded privacy.
7.0 Good
Pros: a bit pricy
Cons: Fine for us
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great price and location
Cons: No breakfast unless we were prepared to eat very early
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My partner was on a knee scooter (instead of crutches) which means that she needs to stay in easily accessible accommodation. The Blue Door was easy for her to move around in as there is very little variation in the floor height. This was great as we had struggled to find a place that was user friendly for her.
Cons: everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and peaceful
7.5 Good
Pros: Exceptionally clean. Outside of house isn’t welcoming but bedroom and bathroom very clean. Bathroom seems to be recently renovated and is modern. Bed comfy. Great towels.
Cons: The house is tiled so it was ABSOLUTELY freezing inside. It was very cold in Greyton but the tiling exacerbated this tremendously
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is excellent.
6.8 Good

Cons: No TV
