The food! Delicious and beautifully presented. My understanding of "Split Level" did not envisage the spiral staircase to the bedroom. My husband and I found this difficult as we are both disabled.
Very good dinner with friendly service.
Location, comfort, restaurant, friendliness.
Location-quiet town next to the castle ruins. Suite was very large. Restaurant was booked for a party (although we found a nice place on the square).
Everything The food and the wine were not good enough to recommend the restaurant for dining out..
Location and terrace over looking the river There was a fair next door which did not stop until 2.00AM and we were not told. The noise was deafening, not helped by the fact that our window overlooked the fairground.
Room looking directly to the river Maas; historic atmosphere Small spiral stairs to the bedroom possibly not suitable for older or handicapped people
Friendly staff The towels smelled bad it was not realy clean the room smelled like old cigarett smoke
it was very clean and staff was friendly very noisy
We were well looked after, great starting point for bike rides and walking,Close to Germany, excellent bus/rail service
Expensive for what it was, very basic, with a bit more research their are better value hotels in the area.
Very Very noisy at night. Cleaner cleaning the Kitchen at 1am !!! Had to go down and ask her to stop as I could not sleep.
The owner (?) was very nice and serviceminded. The food was good. The beer was good ! The walls are too thin, too many people coming home late (after 1am)
The staff: flexibel, firndly and social. Also the combination of a hotel with a nice restaurant with quite good food and a cosy bar/cafe makes it a nice choice. If you are a smoker: no problem, If you are a non smoker: Everywhere in hotel/restaurant/bar is aheavy smoking air...As a non smoker this is terrible when getting up and when you get out of your room. They do not honour the smoking ban
Very friendly staff
It was convenient, however, hard to find according to the directions given by google maps. It was clean and the people were friendly. The stairs were narrow and very steep - not at all something for older people, and very difficult to get luggage up.
Provision of family rooms with proper beds for all the family (i.e. not roll out or fold-away beds, as experienced at other hotels) Lack of info & menus in English
