Pros: Front desk staff was wonderful -- rooms were comfortable.
Cons: Horrible service in restaurant ( being a single female travel likely contributed to this); room was very poorly insulated re:noise. Heard everything all night.
Conveniently located in the heart of Brussels' city center, Rocco Forte Hotel Amigo is adjacent to the La Grande Place and near the city's financial district. Central Station is 500 meters from the hotel.
Located in Lower Town, this apartment is within a 5-minute walk of Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, Cathedral of St. Michael, and La Grand Place. Manneken Pis Statue and Belgian Comic Strip Center are also within 10 minutes.
Winner of the Travel & Leisure 500 award in 2016, Hotel des Galeries promises a premium experience and a great location, just a 5-minute walk from La Grand Place and Cathedral of St. Michael. For a bite to eat, guests can check out Comptoir des Galeries, which serves Belgian cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rooms at this upscale hotel get the details right with deep soaking tubs, iPod docks, and Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The only negative is breakfast is not included. One can choose to pay €27 per person, a hefty price for eggs & toast.
Pros: This hotel was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were road tripping through Europe and stopped in Brussels on a whim. This hotel and city ended up being our absolute favorite. It is a beautiful hotel, with excellent staff, and the facilities are great. We can't wait to travel back and stay at the Dominican again.
Located in the city center, this chic Brussels hotel is just a five-minute walk from the Grand Place and Cathédrale des Sts-Michel-et-Gudule. The Royal Museums of Fine Arts are 0.9 km (0.5 mi) away.
Cons: I was on the second floor and there must be a club directly underneath. I couldn't sleep because the music was throbbing through the room. I had to be up at 5 am so this was disastrous. Not good at all. Not worth it at all.
Pros: I thought the entire staff including housekeeping was very friendly, helpful, courteous, efficient in trying to meet our needs. I had to deal with management couple of times and Dimitros was just great!
Location is excellent, rooms are well lite with all the amenities. I like the idea that every floor is different in color and décor. Also many rooms are not the same. I like the state of the art security system and privacy with the room keys and not being able to access another floor w/your room key. Rooms are comfortable not like some hotel rooms that are very small and crowed.
Cons: I think on the daily basis they should make a slight change in their menu for the buffet breakfast. Everyday it was exactly the same. Breakfast is open 6:15 and they should be ready at 6:15, the hot food was not ready till 6:40, chef was still preparing.
I was with a Globus tour in Amsterdam, Luxemburg and the 2 hotels there had a slight change in their menu.
Radisson should get a sophisticated coffee machine so people can help themselves that way you don't have to ask them for coffee and it would help a busy day.
It was very chaotic, short of staff several days in the breakfast restaurant, , everybody was running around then accidents occurred spilling coffee, crashing plates. Tables were not cleaned off so it was difficult to find a table. I understand that at times understaffing occurs, I think days like this they should have a sign Please wait to be seated, so they could get a table ready for the amt. of customers to be seated. As people were let in freely, we're looking for a clean table and it was difficult to find one so I landed up cleaning my table plus got my own coffee. I felt it was ok to help out a little bit.
They have a ledge anywhere from 2 1/2-3 inches high before going into the bathroom which doesn't make sense why they have it, it serves no purpose and certainly does not help the décor. I think it is very dangerous especially at night. I kicked it on the first day 3 times and then I put a colorful luggage strap on the floor and left the light on.
2 other couples stumbled on it, laid a towel to even it out, taped some paper across as a reminder that the ledge was there.
Cons: Great location
Pros: Its nice clean and in a good location
Cons: I arrived at 13:46 and I was told that check in starts at 15:00 so I was given the room as a favour
Thats the feeling I got
Ideally located in the heart of cultural and historic Brussels, near main shopping area. New art deco styled hotel with 4 room styles, 24 hr room service, 3 restaurants, fitness center, concierge, and indoor parking. 2016/2017 TripAdvisor Hall of Fame-Certificate of Excellence
Located in Lower Town, this apartment is within a 10-minute walk of Martyrs' Square, Belgian Comic Strip Center, and La Grand Place. Cathedral of St. Michael and Manneken Pis Statue are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: The location is awesome. Very close to the train station. Staff was helpful and friendly. No complaints.
It was a perfect location for two young babies. On a Saturday and Sunday, not too much is open around the hotel, but a 5 minute bus ride took us straight to Sablon within 10 minutes. Also, the Park de Brussels is a lovely place to walk around on the way to the center (which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel). The hotel was very baby-friendly, which was helpful. Room was large and the hotel staff was quick to provide us with two cribs, extra pillows, extra towels, etc... There's a nice little Turkish kebab shop across the street - great for a quick meal to take back up to the room. Bus stop is half a block away and the buses come through frequently. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again the next time my family and I are traveling through Brussels!
Pros: Nice, quiet location (over the weekend). The staff was very friendly, very helpful and extremely accommodating. A special thank you to Anne - she saw we had two young babies and made sure we were able to check in very early.
Cons: The shower in the room didn't drain too well. The positive definitely outweigh this single negative.
Pros: Location and the breakfast buffet.
Cons: Seemed a bit tired and much much smaller than portrayed in the photographs. Also, they had reservation issues at checkin and elevator issues during our entire stay. And the bellman wasn't helpful and downright antagonistic at times.
Pros: The rooms are modern and decorated at a good standard. The staff in the reception are courteous and helpful.
Cons: There are no rooms for smokers. High speed internet is slow.

Pros: Location of your hotel is always key when traveling. this had an excellent location near the Grand Place and a short walk to the tour office which was the meeting point for all our tours.
Cons: The rooms were not really cleaned properly. Trash was taken out but quite a number of trash was left strewn on the floor in both the room and bathroom. Large trash items like empty water bottles were left behind as well as kleenex. This happened twice. Also toiletries were not replenished properly. Bad cleaning service for sure.
Toilet was separate from the bathroom which is odd so there was no water within reach.
Wifi was not working in the room until I checked if it was included in the package and they fixed it but not after several attempts.
The food in the restaurants downstairs were also too expensive. Not really commensurate with the prices outside where there were many restaurants.
Make yourself at home a stone's throw from Brussels' iconic main square Grand Place at the family friendly 4-star Hotel Novotel Brussels Off Grand Place. Your quiet, airy room gives you the space you need to work or relax. Start the day brightly with breakfast from the buffet in the sunlit restaurant, or unwind and soak up the city atmosphere on the Gourmet bar's terrace at Novotel.
Pros: I thought the breakfast was nice, and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: I had to ask to switch my room twice as I found the rooms depressing and not light or big enough. The room temperature was very cold and I had to ask for a space heater. I found some concierges helpful; others not. The food in their restaurant was not good and I had an issue with something I ordered. I also wished they had made laundry service available. The lobby is very cold and shuts down early, and there is no where to have a drink, read and relax. The bathroom smelled very funny, and I could not get them to fix this. I also received no offer of help with my luggage when I called down to say I was checking out. Overall, this hotel needs updating and to be much more cozy, light and guest friendly. There is a lot they could do to improve.
Pros: Staff was very helpful and professional.
Cons: My experience was exceptional. Everything met expectations.
Pros: The room was very spacious and the hotel is bright, modern, and clean. Good price but mainly made up of business travelers (we were on our honeymoon). Didn't try the restaurant/bar (Smoods) on the first floor because the priced seemed absurdly high.
Would be great for a longer term business stay because of the separate desk area in the room.
Cons: Not much negative to say. The location is a bit of a hike from the tourist hotspots like the Grand Place. It's close to the Botanique metro station which was convenient but it would have been nicer to have a quicker walk to the city center instead. If you do walk to the city center from the hotel, make sure to walk through the gardens and then down Rue Neuve - it's much nicer than walking between all of the business buildings.
Pros: The room is big for the price we paid. The bar downstairs was nice and the bartenders were friendly and even made us specialty drinks that weren't on the menu
Cons: We got to the room late in the evening, the receptionist gave us our room key. When we got to our room, our key didn't work. This happens sometimes so we weren't too upset. I came back downstairs and told another guy at the desk that we had just arrived and that our key didn't work. He fixed it and apologized, we headed to our room. When we opened the door, a woman shot up out of bed and asked "who's there". I felt terrible. Tried to apologize quickly as I spun out the door. I went back down to the desk and the people working had figured out what happened because the lady I walked in on called the front before we got down. They gave a voucher for 1 free glass of wine or beer and gave us the new key and apologized once more. When I turned to walk away, I realized that the same room that we just interrupted that woman in was still written on the key holder card. I turned and told him "this the same room we just came from". He said "oh, oh, I'm sorry." And gave me the right number. But he almost sent us back to the wrong room a third time. All kinds of other things went wrong while we were there. Loud construction RIGHT outside our window at 6am every morning. We were told we would get a five dollar voucher for the bar for every morning we didn't get our room cleaned and we never got it. 4 days in a row, we didn't want our room cleaned. We didn't care about the voucher, but when we went to the desk to ask for an extra bottle of water for our room (which comes with a free bottle of still water and sparkling every morning if you get it cleaned) the desk attendant said we couldn't have free water if our room hadn't been serviced. But when I mentioned that we never received our vouchers, there was some reason we couldn't get that either. I was so frustrated from no sleep from the construction and all the other issues (many of them too small of importance but also too many to list) that I stopped listening to their reasoning. I had decided that I'll never stay at this hotel again. Which is unfortunate because I had stayed there one night last time I was in Belgium. I didn't have much interaction with the staff as it was another late night. I just needed a bed for the evening. My only complaint was the location was kind of inconvenient but after this experience, i realized the problems are far worse than the location
Pros: We liked the art work in the room and the TV prompter for information
Cons: The staff was really rude when we were checking out. There was a problem with an overcharged credit card and they made it to seem like it was our fault and took forever to fix it. Also the location was close to a bad neighborhood and it was really far from the city center
Pros: Great breakfast simple fresh room decor
Cons: Hotel will not loan adapter most basic thing in most hotel bug charged almost 10€ for one.
Stayed with other hotels in area none does this

Pros: The staff were friendly & eager to provide advice regarding places to visit, things to do, etc. Room was very nice & very clean. Breakfast was wonderful & had something for everyone...a lot of variety. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Loved that it's close to airport, but it was a little difficult to get to even using gps.
Cons: reserved for 3 people. amenities (bottled water/chocolate) for 1 was supplied. 28 euros for parking was ridiculous
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located near Brussels airport. I stayed for one night waiting for my flight out of BRU. Overall it's a well-maintained property with spacious rooms and a very nice fitness center.
Cons: I stayed on a Saturday night. It turns out that the hotel restaurant is closed on weekends. I either had to go to downtown Brussels (a 30 min commute) or order room service. I opted for the latter, which wasn't bad at all but I would have preferred to eat at the restaurant.
There is also no shuttle to the airport on weekends. If you are an airport hotel, you should provide shuttle to the airport 24/7.

I thought this would be a great place to spend a few nights of our honey moon at as well my husbands birthday. We had booked a massage and told too wait in the reception area come time for out appt. We did this and 5 mins into the appt I asked reception if someone was going to come get us. She informed us we were in the wrong building and had to go the correct one. We didn't know where we were going so she showed us. Once we got up stairs the massage people said we were too late and needed to rebook. Upset because we only had the afternoon to go look around Brussels we had to cancel the massage. They wanted to charge us for the 2 massages booked and missed but we felt it was their misinformation. After a argument with reception we were able to have them remove the massage charge on our bill. The following day we went to check out and the massages were still on the bill, she clearly knew about the issue and removed them once we said were not paying for that. But also on the bill was rental fees of towels we used for the pool at 7 euro a day each person and also a pool fee 30 euro a day weather it was a 15 min dip or a 3 hour swim. Every hotel Ive ever stayed at the price of pool and towels are included in the hotel fee. Maybe being more upfront about these charges would be nice. Once we converted the bill to CDN it was 600$ for 2 nights stay at this dump! Thank for a horrible memories for our honeymoon and my husbands birthday! Great place NOT! Good luck charging people 30 euro to use the pool! I hope this review keeps at least one person away from your sneaky ways!
Pros: The building its self was neat. Everything else to horrible!
Cons: Yes, hidden fee's lack of communication from staff.
Pros: Aesthetically, the common spaces were lovely. The food and beer were reasonably priced at the restaurant, and the minibar prices were fair.
Cons: The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. To use the spa you have to pay an additional 13 Euro per person.

Pros: Perfect location, nice and well spoken staff. Wonderful mattrass
Pros: Convenient to airport - just walk across the street.
Pros: 40 steps to Brussels international airport
Pros: Location is perfect. Walk to check in at airport.
Cons: Restaurant costly and service in restaurant slow.
Pros: Can walk across street to airport.
Cons: Bar area was short staffed so see I e was dry slow, but to their credit, the bar manage really was concerned. Plus their computer system was down
Pros: Extremely very well situated across from Brussels airport entrance. It's the prime dpot to spend the last night before you leave.
The good is good. Good breakfast. It's on the more expensive side but the location is what makes this property so convenient.
There is a good train connection at the airport to get to the center of Brussels Antwerp Gent of Oostende.
Cons: Its of course well understandable to the expensive side. Breakfast $25. But it's location makes you accept.

Pros: I enjoyed the garden on the 4th floor. I also liked getting green points/ $5 credit towards food and drink for passing up maid service.
Cons: The location was far from the city center, but we began to enjoy the neighborhood. The TV in our room didn't work, and we complained about it. Twice people came to our room, but they didn't fix it.
Pros: This hotel was nice for the night we stayed. A lot of places to eat and drink in Brussels are nearby, and we enjoyed its proximity to public transportation. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Pros: The hotel was very accommodating, comfortable, close to high-end shopping and places to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful. would stay there again
Pros: The reception desk staff.
Cons: 1) The price of parking. 2) That coffee in the lobby costs 2 euros (but then I'm spoiled by free coffee in American hotels).
Pros: Room is very clean with pleasant decor. Tea/coffee facilities in room very a nice bonus. The bar downstairs is a cheerful and convenient feature. Pretty good location - bus/tram very close and lots of restaurants/shops nearby, yet it is not noisy.
Cons: Not really. Breakfast is way overpriced so I didn't take it. There could be a free coffee machine, like many other hotels - here we have to pay for the Nespresso machine in the lobby. On the other hand, the rooms have a free tea/coffee maker.
Pros: Some of the staff, specially the person at the check-in was extremely profesisonal and helpful.
Pros: good welcome by staff every time, efficient hotel to stay at and nice location
Cons: changed the public parking rules outside on street in this area resulting in high parking costs or fines..
Cons: Located in middle of a block on a hill
Pros: Everything was fantastic, the location is good served by tram and near stores, markets and restaurants! The hotel offers a green program! I loved this hotel and I am sure to stay there again!
Pros: The staff was very nice.Meanwhile it´s a little bit far from Grand Place and other main attractions, it was coo, to discover de Ixelles region.
Pros: Room was perfect for single accupancy
Cons: It was perfect
Pros: The hotel had an option to forgo daily room cleaning (they did every 3rd day) in return for Starpoints or credits that could be used at the hotel restaurant. This option was nice for a long stay.
Cons: Some of the staff were rude at times.

Pros: Very close to the airport, free shuttle, clean, modern, nice restaurant and bar. Train station is near by .
Cons: Hotel is located in the middle of business park.
Pros: Great hotel close to the airport. 30-40 Euro taxi ride to town. Staff is great in the bar area. Nice service and food is well done.
Cons: Carpets not the best of shape. Could be cleaned. Taxi service is a bit slow. If you need to be somewhere at a certain time, I would book the taxi the night before.
Pros: Location and value
Cons: Airport shuttle not 7/24
Cons: I called reception and waited for an unnecessarily long time before an irritated and unfriendly employee answered me. I asked for some utensils and he said "didn't room service give you this?" And I responded "This is not room service related", as I wanted utensils to eat with take away food. His irritation came through his voice while he said "fine." He hung up on me before I could say thank you. After this short but unfriendly exchange with reception, I never got my utensils! I never called back to followup . It wasn't worth the hassle and especially the rudeness. I improvised by using their wooden coffee stick as utensils instead. It wasn't easy to use but did the job with the scooping motion. I've never experienced such distasteful rudeness from hotel staff before until now. It really put a sour ending to my visit to Brussels. It only takes one uncalled for encounter to leave a bad immpression. Needless to say I will not be coming back to this hotel. And forewarning for anyone asking for utensils; good luck with that!
Pros: A beautiful, comfortable, well staffed hotel. It was perfect for my 13 hour layover at Brussels Airport.
Cons: Twenty One Euro for breakfast is outrageous. I ate about two eggs, two slices of bacon, a slice of toast and coffee. I can not eat Twenty One Euro of breakfast. It would have been nice if the restaurant was open for breakfast.
Pros: Facilities, staff, restaurant and overall upkeep all excellent and consistent with 4-star designation. Airport shuttle was active/available (contrary to older reviews). Good location for airport access. Gated parking was 15 E on-site and was very convenient.
Cons: Air conditioning was poor and room remained rather warm (sign on thermostat noted that it was an eco-friendly system so this may not be considered a major issue by some), only 1 full size towel for double room posed an inconvenience. Location very good for airport access but otherwise nondescript.
Van Der Valk Hotel Brussels Airport is just 3.5 mi (5.7 km) from the airport and offers a free shuttle at scheduled times. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Catharina, one of 2 restaurants, which serves Modern European cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like pillowtop beds with premium linens.
