Friendly and helpful staff. We were made very welcome and had an excellent meal in the hotel dining room. Room very comfortable, recently renovated. Free spa and internet facilities available to guests. Nothing negative to say.
Location was easy to find. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The churc bells were right outside the window, they were pleasant but very loud.
The value for the money was great. The restaurant was fantastic. I also loved the architecture in the town, stone buildings with stone roofs, not touristic at all! Couldn't fingure out the AC (not sure if it had it or not), cool mountain breeses kept us cool, but somewhat humid.
The SPA was fantastic The Breakfast was poor and the room was not what excpected
Welcoming staff, big room, nice balcony, good food.
Very clean and nice room, excellent restaurant downstairs, friendly personel Hotel is closed completely between 0:00 and 7:00
Very good restaurant attached to the hotel. Site of frequent wedding celebrations can make it noisy. Ask for a quiet room.
great hotel and a good place to eat local dishes. the staff is very friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much. hope to visit them in the future.
Beautiful hotel situated in wonderful town of Grosio. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Locked garage to leave motorcycles overnight. Lovely room with balcony - we had a triple for three adults. Restaurant is award winning and the 20 euro seth menu was superb. The Sassella wine is very nice. The breakfast was also fantastic -cereals, croissants, egg, bread rolls, yoghurt, juice and hot drinks.
Friendly staff and good food.
staff was friendly and very accomodating when we asked about gluten free product. Beauty Therapist was nice tool. Secure parking (outdoor) available, but no parking garage. Use of Wellness area, or even just the pool is over priced. EUR 15 for one day! Room was rather dark and gloomy, but very spaceous!
The hotel was beautiful and nestled in a small town in the mountains. The room had a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were helpful despite the fact that we spoke no Italian. They show themselves as a hotel with a hot tub and pool and spa, but don't mention that it is 15E per person to use the pool and hot tub, not included like it would be in North America.
It was the worst night in a hotel ever. We were in a room right next to the train station that was active all night. Neither of us slept at all.
The location was perfect! Right across from the train station! Perfect for catching an early morning train through the stunningly beautiful Bernina Pass. We had a wonderful dinner there and a great breakfast!!
The warm and welcoming atmosphere. The convivial and exceptionally helpful staff, particularly teh restaurant staff who could not have done enough for us. They really went out of their way to accommodate our two young children at mealtimes.
The hotel had an excellent location in the main square next to the Bernina Pass train station, very good for those travellers doing the Bernina train ride. There was no food available after 8 p.m. anywhere.
Tirano is a good stop-over for the Stelvo Pass; hotel is central in Tirano, next to railway station Very noisy next to station, started at 5:30am. Room we had was basic, nothing like the elegant rooms in the internet gallery
1,Morning buffet was wonderful! 2, Good location (just in front of the station) 3, Clean room and bathroom.
We particularly liked the uniquely furnished suite and its quiet location. It was quiet, private and most comfortable. The reception staff were also very helpful to us as foreign language speakers and this was also very much appreciated.
The hotel is across the street from the train station, making it very convenient. The front desk does not open until 7:00 in the morning, so one cannot check out of the hotel to catch, say, a train leaving at 6:10. The floors are hardwood rather than carpeted.
Every thing was ok. None of my credit/debit cards would work; no other problems with cards during week away!
The staff were pleasant and the restaurant (dinner) was good. Continental breakfast was fine. Very close to train station which was very convenient. Option to pay for secure parking was good. Ability to book a family room was good (double and bunk beds) but the room was in need of redecoration Mould on the bedroom and bathroom walls. Bedroom quite noisy due to water pipes from other rooms running through room walls.
Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this hotel, but it was fabulous and I would definitely go for longer next time. There is a huge range of different indoor and outdoor spa facilites which are amazing and all included in the price. What could be better then relaxing in one of the hot tubs in the sunshine, overlooking the alps. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The food in the main resturant in the evening was excellent. The breakfast menu was abit more limited than in some other hotels, but still a good choice and the hotel seems to concerntrate on doing simple things to the highest standards and cooked food is available on request. Although the hotel isn't cheap you come away feeling that it was excellent value for money
An incredible hotel in the most breathtaking of locations. Not cheap but worth every penny to experience the level of luxury on offer. The spas is incredible set against the dramatic back drop of the mountains. The rooms are great (if a little small) and are incredibly comfortable. The service is first class. We stayed over my birthday and whilst we were down at breakfast on our first morning they put a gift and card in my room - they had worked this out from my passport details. An incredibly simple touch that impressed hugely. All front desk staff went out of their way to give us information to make our stay better. We couldnt eat in the hotel restaurant as it was full but were sent to the sister hotel Bagni Vecchi and it was great.
I liked the location and nearness to the train station for the Bernina Express. The staff spoke only a few words of English. The waitress/waiter were invisible and it took over 30 minutes to get water when they finally realized they had a customer. Very, very poor service.
The hotel service was professional and everything went very smoothly. Good breakfast, ok look. The hotel is a bit old and the equipment of the cheaper rooms little old and destroyed, but of for short stay.
the location of the hotel is great, it is what you expect from a 3 star hotel. It is simple and gives you what you want for a good price. Nothing special no luxury The towels are thin and the bathroom is small.
Varied breakfast good for Italy! Had a room at the back of the Hotel it was a bit dingey.
warm atmosphere, gentleness and readiness to help from staff none
Very helpful staff. Great location. Wonderful dinners each night in the restaurant. Not really anything I can think of.
close to town centre - modern clean and well appointed - friendly helpful staff certainly as good as any 4* I have stayed at in Italy if not better. diner in the half board option wasn't as good as local restaurants
Nice setting The food was awful. Service was very poor too.
Nice hotel in wonderful place. One of best in Italian Alps. Breakfast menu was very basic.
Comfortable hotel in a beautiful setting. Very friendly and accomodating staff.
Very friendly reception. Location (but please see also the negatives). Beautiful exterior, and well maintáined interior. Very good breakfast. Very good location in the winter time, when the windows could be closed. However, in the summer time the location isn't ideal in my opinion. The hotel is virtually located in a street intersection with quite a lot of traffic around the clock. There is no A/C. So when the outdoor temperature is high it could be quite noisy if you've got a room facing the street.
We enjoyed the high standard of accomodation and comfort offered by the hotel both in our suite and also the lounge. The hotel staff was very attentive and friendly.
A smart, clean hotel with stunning mountain views. Friendly, helpful staff. A limited menu for the restaurant, but very good food. Secure garage parking if needed. A decent size room with pine decor. On a fairly busy road. Whilst not a major problem, the traffic noise was a shame when using the balcony.
Excellent room and very cordial staff. No
Underground parking. Friendly and attentive staff.
Location, friendly staff, excellent rooms, jacuzzi
Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Secure parking. Our room was situated next to a public car park and the dustmen turned up at 6am to empty the bins. A bit noisey with bumps and crashes comming from within the hotel in the late evening. Hair dryer was not much good.
bed it is not comfort for me. hotel have not stacionar internnet point
The staff was very kind and the dinner really good
Near a terme, golf, histrical center. The dinner of HB wonderfle with lot of vesitable and tipical dishes.Sauna and jaggie is free.
Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The location was excellent, opposite the main thermal baths, it also provided a garage for parking, and free shuttle to the ski lifts whenever required, even after check out. The hotels own Sauna was broken when we were there, but the main baths were right opposite so it was not that important.
nothing really hotel staff was not friendly at all. The hotel was totally empty but in spite of that they did not accept to give us a room on the floor I specifically requested in my reservation. The "wellness centre" was closed....the swimming pool dirty and clearly not being used for ages....the whole centre was smelly, dirty and definitely needs repainting. I don't see how somebody can consider this as a 4*..
- Nice view - No any infos in hotelroom, restaurant was not open in evening, There was one guy who did all works, breakfast was poor (no cheese or ham, only bun and jam). Intenet using was quit expensive (maybe for location )
Great facilities, especcially their sauna with the greatest ever jacoozy I`ve dealed with. Friendly stuff. Nice breakfast. Good location for us, as we found it as a last minute chance for New Year Eve. night near Livigno. Relatively expensive (but the jacoozy is worth it : ) ). Terrible for parking in the winter. when the snow falls, it`s impossible to get out.
Extremely friendly and helpfull staff, good location for who's looking for relax and quiet, great wellness centre. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. You need to have a car to reach Livigno and Bormio, although there are buses, but not so frequent. If you like quiet places that's beautiful
The hotel location was superb with fantastic views. The room was small but very comfortable with a balcony and wonderful views. Friendly and welcoming staff.
The staff was so kind and helpful. Warm jacuzzi after skiing, wellness center. The room was really well-equipped and qualitative.
The staff were fantastic, the decor was wonderful and all in all the hotel was faultless.
hotel is cleaned and furnished..location is excellent, very near centro bormio..and staffs are nice.. we didnt know that can book the terme in the hotel if they can ask for that would be better..breadfast is ok if more choice would be excellent..
renovated room deluxe, located close to Bormio centre
Wonderful hospitality. They took care of our every need.
The staff were very friendly and efficient, and there was a wonderful family feel to this relatively small hotel. Location was excellent in terms of being close to some great mountain hikes.
The staff were very friendly and attentive to meet our needs. Most patient given our inability to speak any Italian !!
Very pleasant staff, clean spacious room, good shuttle bus on demand to ski slope, easy walk into town, no problems with parking. Lovely leisure facilities however there was an extra charge of 15 Euros for use of sauna and steam room, which seemed a bit excessive.
Nice luxuries in the room, friendly/helpful staff, spacious feeling, big bed.
