Pros: Location is really nice and close to Montfort L’Amoury which is a quaint town. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Stephanie is a welcoming and attentive host.
Pros: The space. Having two rooms was so useful. Breakfast was good, host couldn’t do more for you. Location in beautiful village.
Cons: Liked everything but somewhere to sit outside would have been good.
Pros: Stephanie is an amazing host.
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing!
Pros: Lovely location and there was a sitting room and bedroom; perfect with the dog. The bed was really comfortable.
Cons: Nothing, it was just what we were looking for.
Pros: Elegant 'shabby chic' but not at all shabby! Beautifully decorated in soft restful neutral tones. Spacious modern bathroom. Helpful reception.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facility in the room would have been nice to take advantage of the spacious lounge area and comfortable sofa!
Pros: Beautiful rooms and super comfy bed. Lovely traditional property and stunning decor. Wish we could have stayed longer but only 1 night as a stopover enroute south.
Cons: Nothing, perfect for us!
Pros: The village, room and decor were lovely. The breakfast was ample, and with lots of choices. The owner was friendly and very helpful with our change of plans, and our flat tyre! Anything extra we needed was conveniently available in the hotel next door.
Pros: Everything was superb, from the friendly welcome to the tasty breakfast ! I liked the large walk-in shower, and the fact that you could sit outside in the garden to relax. It was, from start to finish, a wonderful place to stay.
Pros: Great hospitality, excellent breakfast
Pros: The host was always smiling and eager to make my stay pleasant. The room and bathroom was huge and functional.
Cons: The location. There was nothing within several miles. To eat or anything else. However, the host came to my rescue and promptly made me some dinner for a very modest fee. All that said, if your looking for a countryside getaway away from everything, this is where you want to stay.
Pros: This boutique hotel is tucked away in a quaint, very-quiet, little village located in a forest preserve. The room had a pleasant pastoral view towards the back of the hotel.
Cons: There did not seem to be a way for us to control the room heat individually.

Pros: This place is done with so much love, effort, taste and eye to detail, that as soon as one steps foot in it, one falls head over heels with it. The garden is so wonderful and fills every room with a flowery smell.
Pros: Quaint B&B in a quaint little French village! Beautiful grounds, lovely only home and a very friendly hostess!
Pros: Overall, it was a great place and I highly recommend it!

Pros: nice location nice hosts
Cons: forcing us to pay by check beforehand COld room
Pros: Private jacuzzi and hammam
Cons: Not much pressure in bathtub, no shower
Pros: The main house and the appartments are very spacious and have a nice and cozy decoration. The outdoor areas of the house and the village are charming. Nice french-style breakfast.
Cons: The room was cold, the small electrical heating was on, but completely insufficient. I wonder what happens if you stay there in winter time.. Wifi signal just didn't work, too weak. Had to go take out cash money because not possible to pay with card. Spa area only open from 10am-6pm.
Pros: The garden, the house, the couple, the breakfast.
Cons: We thought the spa was great but did not smell fresh air. Maybe a couple of essential oil drops would clean and freshen the air.
Pros: The pool was heated.
Cons: No licence to serve alcohol. Limited breakfast choice. Uncommunicative as to facilities. Uncomfortable sun beds.

This hotel has facilities measuring 872 square feet (81 square meters), including meeting rooms. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location with good breakfast
Cons: Peeling paint in bathroom and hallways and slow WiFi connection
Pros: The helpful attitude of the staff particularly the night porter. Despite not being able to solve the problems they did try.
Cons: We arrived to discover that the superior room was in another building about 100 metres away from the main building up a cobbled hill. This building appeared to be a disused conference area. The communal areas were not very clean or tidy ( although our room was clean). If this is the only location for superior rooms they are totally unsuitable for anyone with limited walking ability, difficulty with stairs. The rooms are up a spiral tiled staircase with no lift. The building appeared to be forgotten by the main hotel and we felt forgotten as well. Provision of a cylindrical fan does not constitute air conditioning.
Pros: Lovely building in a great location. The staff were most welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated.
Cons: Nothing. Just a very small detail, for such a beautiful place, although there was a kettle provided with tea and coffee sachets, it would be nice to have a proper coffee machine. People on business spend a lot of time in hotels and appreciate and welcome a decent cup of coffee. However, I thoroughly recommend this hotel and intend to use it again.
Pros: Very nicely decorated room. Room and bathroom (in the annex) were very large.
Cons: Room was too warm. No shower. No Wifi in room.
Pros: The staff were really helpful (e.g. restaurants tips, bookings etc). Breakfast at the hotel was lovely. Our room was perfect, comfy bed etc. Would recommend staying here and hope we get to return one day.
Cons: A bit too expensive for the place
Pros: Love the hotel, have stayed before, although it is a bit on the expensive side, it is worth it and the staff, rooms, and breakfast are all great. The town is lovely and it is in a great location. The staff were all really nice (especially Renaud) and they all helped me with my French and suggestions of places to visit. The town is lovely and it is well worth doing the walks around the landmarks (from the Office de Tourisme) Can't fault the rooms, layout, cleanliness, parking and food. Would definitely recommend
Cons: Nothing - we have stayed in the main hotel and in the other building about 150m away and they were both superb
Pros: Very nice staff, always helpful (getting food appropriate for pregnancy) Very nice garden
Cons: Old style need to be renovated
8.7 Excellent (388 reviews)

Pros: The bed extra comfortable ! So quiet and silent place.
Cons: The pool in the spa was really too cold.
Pros: Facilities were good. Location was nice.
Cons: Poor reception - made to wait 2 hours from check-in. Once in room, no hot water so had to change rooms. Food just adequate.
Pros: Breakfast had everything, even brought back the soya milk for me after back up time so I could enjoy that last coffee. Great service. We had originally planned to travel around the local area during our time at the Chateau, but decided to explore the vast grounds and do several activities instead already available within the precinct - swimming, boating, bocce. Very memorable - a great place to chill.
Pros: beautiful castle silent hotel nice staff
Cons: room was way too hot with no possibility to reduce the temperature as the heating was centralized weird smell in the bathroom due to old pipes wifi was unavailable the pool in the spa was way too cold
Pros: The setting. The offred bikes. So peaceful. Excellent food
Cons: Food average and typical with France over priced with a lack of choice
Pros: Calm 5 star
Cons: having to leave!
Cons: Booked for two nights and checked out the following morning. They sell you the idea of the Chateau, but you stay in a Hilton Style conferance centre. Staff and service best summurised as non existent
Pros: The hotel is well equipped and the Chataeu is very impressive
Cons: It lacks the warmth and service levels of the smaller Loire Chateaus
Pros: it was quiet and had lovely garden
Cons: it does not have a proper restaurant and is a bit short of staff
Pros: Ambience and setting was very good.
Cons: General lack of food and beverage facilities.Few staff available and no room service.Shown to the room and generally left to get on with it.

Pros: Loved it. Loved the food.
Pros: Great French food for dinner. Staff eager to answer any question and solve any challenge. Cute courtyard.
Cons: Narrow, long stairs to the rooms, but maybe my legs are over-sensitive after riding my bike too much.
Pros: Great place, lovely location, very good restaurant, real value for money
Pros: A warm and friendly welcome. Our room was large and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent, the best fillet steak we’ve eaten in France. Good choice of wine
Pros: Location was great! Staff and facilities were excellent
Pros: Nice owner
Cons: No restaurant on Sunday.

Pros: Just perfect
Cons: Nothing to change !

Exit 11 of the A13 motorway is 17 km away and central Paris is a 45-minute drive away. The property is a 30-minute drive from Versailles and from Rambouillet.
Pros: They are in the middle of a major refurbishment - things are a bit hit and miss at present. Potentially it looks like an excellent place - good central location but January is a good time to see anywhere
Cons: Resturant wasn't open
Pros: Well situated, quiet room and clean throughout.
Cons: The bathroom was small and looked a bit dated although clean.
Pros: Excellent friendly staff who went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. Good breakfast with everything I wanted, very fresh.
Cons: Occasional lapse in providing soap, on two out of the four days. Plus I never see the point of those scatter cushions and strip of cloth on the bed, which always just go on the floor.
Pros: The hotel is good for the price
Cons: There is nothing open on Sundays. But that it France, not the hotel
Pros: A comfortable and pleasant place to stay, with very friendly staff, well located on Thoiry's main street. The breakfast was very good with fresh pain au chocolat, mini croissant and pain au raisin, decent coffee and a good selection of other items. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked very well with plenty of hot water.
Cons: A cup and kettle in the room would have enabled me to make tea or coffee at times when nowhere was open.
Pros: Centrally located in the village.
Cons: No functioning WiFi, restaurant closed Friday and Saturday night. E-mail notifying change of number of nights needed not acknowledged, no soap/shampoo/shower gel.
Cons: At check-out it took a very long time (15min or so), until I got a correct invoice. After my return I found out, that they charged more compared to the booking.com price
Pros: It’s was great hotel they let you feel like you are at your home lovely lady her name Tatiana
Pros: Good for the price. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: One day all the staff left the hotel. Nothing open to buy water or food. However, we contacted the manager and he went to a restaurant and brought food for everyone. We did not have a car.
Cons: The breakfast was supposed to be: Croissants, Butter, Jam, Yoghurts, Fruit Juice, Coffee. The Croissants were burnt and not edible, there was no Butter or Jam for the Croissants. There was no milk for the coffee. There was only 1 towel in a room for 2 adults. The staff were never around to request another one so we had to share 1 towel for 2 nights. The restaurant was not open when we arrived. They closed the bar at 8:30pm even though we had just booked in. The restaurant closed on day 2 and the bar also so we had no chance to eat or drink.
Pros: The owners were very nice. Food at the restaurant was very nice.
Cons: There were no windows. A little bit stuffy. Had to keep the door open to get air in. As they were warm days it was hot
Pros: The restaurant under the rooms was cosy, and the service was fine.
Cons: The room had no window - only a door facing a terrace which was were other gust gained acces to their rooms. The room was very hot, and the somewhat synthetic covers didn’t help. We were offered breakfast in our room, which we happily accepted. When we came back from dinner - breakfast had been delivered already. Thus all drinks were lukewarm by morning... not a succes.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent - fresh bakery, fruit & coffee
Pros: The room was clean
Cons: They give us one bed less than offered, no coffea, no restaurant no one available at checkout
Pros: The only breakfast on offer was prepacked which would be delivered to room and eaten in room, we declined. The room was newly decorated as was the bathroom.
Cons: The sign outside said hotel/restaurant. There was no restaurant and it looked as if it had closed down some time ago. We had been travelling all day but could get no food nor could owner suggest anywhere to eat. The nearest town, Beynes is in quite large, bold print on AA map. Do not be fooled, it has three so called restaurant/bars but none sold food, you would not want to eat there anyway. There is a small shop where we bought sliced cheese, apples and a bagette, anything which could be eaten without being cut as we had no knives or forks. We did at least have wine so had a "picnic" at 8.00pm outside our room. The owner took pity on us and did give us a very nice bottle of wine which was kind of him. This is fine for an overnight stop but take your own food! Moral: Don't assume that because a town is shown on the AA map in reasonably large, bold print it is a reasonably large place, Beynes was not.
