So clean, modern and welcoming all around. Parking is insanely expensive and breakfast at 21 euro per person does seem over the top. On the plus side, the breakfast was good.
Very good location if you have a very early flight out of Munich. The bus stop was less than 100 meters from the exit and the total bus ride was about 5 minutes to terminal 1. A shuttle would be nice, but the bus comes every 20 minutes. The non smoking room was clean and was more spacious than expected. While this is probably a no-brainer for the seasoned traveler, the 25 euro buffet for dinner was unsatisfactory. In hind-sight we should have ordered room service with the fee, it would have been cheaper and possibly more palatable.
Proximity to Airport Accomodations Friendly Staff
Expensive parking (21 eu p day), close to airport but not AT airport. Need to take bus to get there.
The staff at the front desk and the cleanliness of the room. Bathrooms were well equipped Staff at the bar wasn't too nice and seemed a little overwhelmed with not that many customers
How easy it was to get there and to public transportation. The rooms were really clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. There was no small store nearby to by things we forgot (baby items, soap etc)
Convenient location and helpful and friendly staff Expensive
Proximity to airport, modern, clean, typical Novotel business hotel It's not quite at the airport, no shuttle. You have to take a city bus from the airport to get there and it takes you 15 mins - inconvenient. The internet wasn't working well or at all, which, for a business hotel, is not acceptable.
Price for parking is very expensive. Internet connection is very low and poor.
quite They don't have free shuttle bus from airport.
I think that this hotel should have shuttle to the airport. Breakfast is good but very expensive.
Great Marriott facility, convenient to Muenchen airport.
The bed and pillows Long wait for service for dinner, even by European standards, the head waiter was apologetic and I had not even made a complaint, breakfast too expensive
It's location. It is a few miles from the airport, but easily accessible bu bus and much closer than Munich. It is in the charming small town of Freising.
It was close to the train station, Friesling's city center, free breakfast was good, decor was nice and the beds and room were very comfortable. The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. There was a shuttle for a reasonable price to the airport which is what we needed. They did not clean out the garbages and ash trays outside of the elevators so it stunk when you got off the elevator, the hotel had a pool party the first day so you couldn't swim that day and they were very unfriendly. They promised food and there was none to be seen.
Comfortable, clean and access to the international air port.
Emergency response by staff during a citywide power blackout.
the hotel is good for familly
Very overpriced relative to other local hotels. It's not really near the airport (20 min drive) so expect a 25 Euro cab fare. My room was clean visually but had a strong mildew smell. I didn't eat at the restaurant or have breakfast so I can't really comment on the food, but for $200 bucks you're much better off staying either in downtown Munich or closer to the airport, depending on your needs.
wellness facilities are great
Great staff and very comfortable. Nice little town with a good train service to Munich. It's not that close to the airport - around 15 mins drive, although there is a bus service.
the service was great and the care for detail was really noticeable, hence the feng shui name.
It is classified as an airport hotel, and Booking.com labels it as 6.3km away from the airport, in fact it is more than 10km away; also, the offer called "Park, Sleep & Fly Offer - Double Room" included an airport transfert for one person only and a charge of €18 for the other person, which is exactly the price for a taxi ride, so we eventually paid for the transfer of both of us, which can't be considered fair practice!
The Reception and Restaurant staff were very obliging and helpful with a pleasing personality.
Very nice staff. Easy access to hotels, train, and the airport.
Compact but very good room planning
The staff was excellent, accommodating and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent - it is an easy walk to the university, to the downtown area with bakeries and restaurants, and also to some of the sights of Freising. the room didn't have air conditioning and it was quite stuffy on several warm days, but was relatively easy to cool off at night with the open window and the fan. As a business traveler, I also prefer staying in a hotel with a gym, but I didn't look for/check on this before hand, so this was my own problem. That said, there are some nearby trails where you can go walk/exercise, which is probably even nicer than a gym, anyway.
Hotel decor was attractive. Bed was covered with a duvet intsead of a bed spread, making it easier to provide a clean bed for each new guest. Breakfast buffet included a variety of fresh foods and hot entres and the coffee was freshly brewed. Two minor things. There was no coffee pot or hot water pot in the room, and only one English language TV channel. I was there in June and the weather was cool, but in late summer, the lack of AC might be a factor to consider before booking.
Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable Room became very hot in the middle of the night, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by opening the window.
Breakfast was delicious and versatile. Service Personnel at breakfast very professional as actually most of the stuff too. Very harmony like business hotel.
not liked at all. I sent a complaint email to the hotel, they sent a rude reply letter. This is so unhappy to see a service-sector company at 2010, they are running the hotel with an ancient mentaility and not customer oriented.
Staff very very nice. They helped me for everything I needed. the position of the hotel very near to the center, station, restaurants. the possibility to have breackfast 24 hours per day no babybed avalaible. One 4 stars hotel without bar/eating isn't possible (bar service only in sommer or better....by summer wethear!!! )
Great location. Good breakfast. No elevator. No alarm clock. Very noisy at night with drunken people in the street between 12:30 am - 3:30 am all three nights. Side note about village. No shops or resaturants accepted USA credit cards. (Hotel accepted credit cards) Brewery Tour cancelled. Terrible Gift shop at Brewery. No free tastings. Traveled 4,000 miles. Stayed in Freising for that reason.
The corridors smelled bad, most important generally all the linen smelled very bad. I was as given a bathrobe at the sauna, it smelled like it already had been used. It was very unpleasant to wear something that smelled like that, once in my room I had to put outside in the balcony because it reek the room. The linen had the same smell.
Breakfast was fantastic, as was a la carte menu at the hotel restaurants. Could not get an appointment for any massage / wellness activities. Informed by the staff that bookings required about 1 week in advance.
The Hotel style and the good hotel staff.
Comfortable room; helpful & friendly staff; pratical parking
Nice hotel with a very good staff and a competitive price. Also the resturant is quite good. Missing refrigerator in the room, room a little narrow
A nice, relaxed, family friendly atmosphere, catering for young children. Breakfast selection was excellent with good tasting coffee.
Great facilities, friendly staff, luxurious rooms and an excellent breakfast
Everything is new ! Furniture , LCD tv , bathroom. Unexpected poor breakfast.
Cleanless and hospitality were OK. Good as a cheap accompdation Internet didn't work.
Nice modern room, tidy and clean, excellent diner and breakfast
Everything was perfect
even if we arrived later than the chek in time, everything was arranged and we got the room without problems.Nice breakfast, free parking, excellent for one night stop no
Friendly staff and quietness our booking did not come through and the town is rather boring
Quiet country hotel, standard breakfast
Gasthof Lerner was easy to find, clean, had every amenity and the staff were more than helpful with all we asked. Definately recommenable.
The rooms were large and clean. We arrived very late and the owner was so gracious to get out of bed to let us in. It was a great find!
We were very satisfied with the rooms and also that there were a parkingplace for our car close to the hotel. First of all it was a bit difficult to find the hotel. Also even if it was a Sunday breakfast room could be open as a normal weekday and when we came to the breakfast not everything was ready.
Very nice, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Convenient city bus to RR station.
the room is neat and clean. big room with a poarch. a good value for my money the location is a little bit far from munich,
Room clean and quiet, nice breakfast buffet, free wi-fi connection . It's very close to the highway, so it's the ideal place where to stop for one night while travelling, for instance, from Italy to Czech Republic. There is also free parking (open, but quite safe, being under the rooms' windows). I liked everything
handy location, near to motorway in the morning noisy traffic just beside the hotel
This was a beautifully maintained hotel. A charming couple with a young family were our hosts. Breakfast service was generous and well prepared. The hotel was in walking distance of the charming local village and market. There is an excellent museum devoted to the hops industry. We were both delighted to see hops actually being prepared for processing in a building just off the main street. We chose this location because of its proximity to Munich Airport so that we did not have to travel far after our long flight. The hotel also allowed us easy access to Munich. We enjoyed an evening of Oktoberfest and local attractions in Munich.
Very quite and confortable, for a customer very tired as me No, everything was very good
Quiet, peacyfull, like I expected
This is a wonderful place, located in a beautiful town. It is a romantic a cozy place, ran by the young couple who own it.
The food, the staff, the facilities
It was a half way stop and was close enough to have a couple of day trips to other towns.Good breakfast free parking. No Internet available had to buy on line @ E8 per hr!!! very expensive no internet cafes in town. These days it is important to have Wi Fi access in a Hotel.
No bellman, no elevator, very small room. However, very friendly staff.
Very convenient for Munich airport which was our reason for staying, particularly as we couldn't find reasonable priced accommodation in Munich due to the beer festival The guests who arrived at breakfast hungover from the beer festival !!
Quiet and clean
Room was very small. There was a typical odour in the hotel when I entered. There is no food / beverage available in the night, but I went to the Italian restaurant which was ok.I found it expensive for the ambience provided.
Peaceful setting. Host was very responsive.
Proximity to the airport
Room is spacious and access to internet a bonus friendly helpful staff Experienced a bit of difficulty with language and the reception was not manned when we arrived and we had to wait 10 minutes in front of the door. The picture on the website is misleading because it does not show the hotel entrance itself, which slightly hidden
Location is good, can be cheeper for this type of hotel Breakfast is really poor, no elevator (3 floors)
