Pros: Fantastic Stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: What did we like? Ok. The location, the sea view, the size of the room, the comfort of the bed, the quality of the toiletries, the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff...... I think you get the message.
Cons: The only complaint would be a lack of water pressure, which took away the benefits of the monsoon shower head. But that was a small price to pay for the overall experience at this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The free transportation to and from the airport. The complimentary toiletries were great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location ideal as handy for both St. Aubins and St. Helier. Also right by bus stops which can be an advantage especially if the weather is a problem! All round excellent stay.
Cons: Don't think anything could have been improved upon - everything was excellent and staff couldn't have been more obliging.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely! The staff were very helpful and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. There is a beautiful outlook on to the beach, and a nice pool (which would be nice in summer). Would definitely recommend
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Room 15 had a lovely view of the bay and was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and shower lovely and powerful. Room facilities were top notch but my only very small criticism would be the lack of channels available in room as had Sky downstairs in the TV lounge but not in room. We were out and about all the time so this did not impact on us. Staff were very friendly and and tentative. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel.
Cons: Lack of Sky channels in room.

Pros: The Hotel Atlantic and the staff were excellent! I wanted to escape London for my birthday with my partner. The area was beautiful and quiet. Great connections to St Helier and the airport. The surrounding area is stunning and only 20 mins beautiful walk to Corbriere lighthouse. The hotel exceeded our expectations and felt a home away from home. Great size hotel, very personal. The food at the Ocean restaurant was excellent. All the staff looked after us really well.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Great choice. Location very good. Difficult to walk down to the beach though as no pavement. Really enjoyed the use of the pool and gym, particularly on days the weather was poor.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful entrance hall, impeccable customer service, calm ambience, brightly lit, wonderful touches like a fresh rose in the bathroom, Molten Brown toiletries, complimentary spring water, good wifi, bubbles in the jacuzzi and spotlessly clean room. The evening bed turn down was a nice-touch including fresh cups for tea and clean bin. Other hotels could learn a lot from the gold standards at The Atlantic. We had a delicious gourmet dinner in The Ocean, London prices but worth every penny, you are treated to exceptional ingredients, first class waiter service & the lemon verbena dessert is phenomenal!
Cons: Nothing, it was a perfect stay, rare to find on trips nowadays.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The ambience and comfort of the hotel meet you the moment you arrive. The room's décor is lovely and has a relaxing feeling. The bed/beddings are comfortable and clean. The staff I came across were friendly, professional and helpful. Facilities in the room are plenty and of high quality.. Loved every moment of my stay and I'd go back tonight....
Cons: Couldn't fault anything.

Pros: Loved the Cafe Firefly breakfast and the Thai food was superb. Location next to lemurs was a lovely experience and the red squirrels added to the enjoyment.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The glamping experience in terms of facilities was great and if you are there primarily for the Zoo it really adds to the experience.
Cons: Surprised at check no contact made In terms of interest in our stay or taking initiative to see if we needed anything. And while we were a little late checking out it was more about the cleaners needed access, and they were not very Customer friendly. No one asked how our stay was nor checked into to see how it was going. Staff were Helpful when asking but found the finish a little flat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Glamping at the Durrell Wildlife Camp was truly amazing! The pod was perfect and the safe were all so nice and inviting. We are planning our return trip for next year already. This has been a truly amazing experience and I urge everyone to do it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cons: nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful weekend at the Zoo. Everything was spotlessly clean and pods were well equipped complete with egg cups. It’s an amazing conservation zoo where the animals have lovely enclosures with lots of greenery and waterfalls. Children loved it. Already planning to return next year
Cons: The internet rooter was taken in the night and there was suggested that we could have moved it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A literary mecca for Durrell book fans. Astonishingly comfortable glamping. International visitors should not miss this hidden accommodation gem. Super fluffy beds, proper private showers and toilets and your very own kitchen. What’s more, beautiful birdsong and small wildlife throughout the day. What better place to read (or re-read) Durrell’s books! Friday and Saturday nights you can takeout Thai and Pizza and eat under the stars on your private tent deck with a bottle of wine. Have you ever had thai curry while watching lemurs come and go? Incomparable! The zoo’s restaurants serve fancy hot entrees (several notches above most zoos - see photo) so they are a reliable daily meal option. Particularly like the fact that the “tourist” dollars spent here benefits not a corporate hotel chain, but the wildlife center and its conservation projects.
Cons: Nothing! It will probably never please people who dislike outdoor camping and its small inconveniences (fluctuating temperature, wildlife sounds) but they wouldn’t get glamping anyway! Check weather and prepare accordingly because you are under a tent with no climate control (there is a lovely wood fired stove).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We left wishing we had stayed for much longer. We had no idea what to expect when we booked but any expectations we could have had were totally exceeded. We had a sleeping pod plus separate are with kitchen and bathroom. There was decking with table & chairs plus lingers. Our pod backed onto the trees that the lemurs use to sunbathe in the morning so got some great photos. Enough equipment to enable you to cook. Probably the only thing I'd recommend adding is hairdryer- particularly for those of us that don't need it for other accommodation. Seriously wish we'd booked in for longer as we were so chilled out Recommend staying for a Wednesday or Sunday evening as they offer dusk tours with keeper after hours which was fascinating
Cons: Shower taps are a bit stiff - that's how hard you need to look for a negative
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A first go at ‘glamping’! A great setting, waking up to the sound of the animals in the mornings. Really happy to be supporting so many conservation projects which couldn’t take place in the wild. Combining the stay with experiences with the keeper team plus the twilight walk through the site when the public had gone gave that extra touch. All of the staff are clearly passionate about the animals they care for. The accommodation staff are equally enthusiastic and welcoming.

Pros: Fabulous location on the beach. Very friendly staff. Clean. Good food and bar. Looked to have excellent facilities, large outdoor and indoor pool, Spain, gym but didn't get an opportunity to use them.
Cons: Room although spacious and clean only had a ceiling fan and was warm without heating on! Probably much worse in the summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: St Brelades Bay Hotel is in the most beautiful location. The hotel is welcoming and feels really cosy to return to after a very wet & windy day out! 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for you. Lady on the front desk even had a complimentary card and box of chocolates put in our room as a birthday present!
6.7 Good
Pros: The view from the restaurant.
Cons: The breakfast was poor. Bacon undercooked, flies on the food on the buffet. The evening meal wasn’t great either. The lobster was tough as was the steak. Our room was located at the back of the hotel, it appeared clean but when I dropped my card at the back of a small unit and had to move it there was rubbish left from previous guests. Not a good sight!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Views
Cons: Very hospitable. Friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, with beautiful views across the bay. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice, but above all the staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble for them no matter what their position, an asset to the hotel and owners.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. The food and service were brilliant. Ideal base for coming 'home' to. The castle was a fantastic backdrop to a stunning setting!
Cons: Nothing that could be faulted.
6.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good, but it would have been improved by offering fresh fruit rather than tinned. The dinner was excellent, but I was surprised to find that that dinner was not provided on Mondays. Really hot water.
Cons: The carpets and general decor were a little 'tired', especially in the bedroom. There was a strong scent of tobacco in the bedroom (room 11). I would have welcomed an alarm clock.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean , friendly amazing breakfast
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good service and cleanliness
Cons: Spa was rather clostraphobic
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff. Comfy beds and well serviced rooms. Lovely position. Spa/leisure facilities pleasant. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: I really enjoyed my stay and feel loathe to comment here, but 2 things I feel were not up to the general excellent standard of the hotel. Both concern atmosphere. The hotel lacks a warm and relaxing bar area. I do appreciate that in the summer the terrace may help here. The champagne lounge is comfy and the staff attentive but somehow is unnecessarily formal. Not suggesting you need a juke box or anything but maybe a self serving area where customers could order drinks and sit in a convivial area. For the beer drinkers perhaps at least one draught beer could be included. I am a great champagne drinker but was totally uninspired to drink in the champagne bar. Some weekly promotions might encourage customers to explore different champagnes/cocktails etc The same issue applies to Victorias restaurant. Again the clinically efficient atmosphere didn’t inspire us to eat there a second night or to try the more up market restaurant. The food was ok but not outstanding which was disappointing but the main criticism was the atmosphere. We ate out in several other restaurants in St Helier when we would have eaten in the hotel’s restaurants if the atmosphere was better. As an aside, the cost of wine in the hotel is ridiculously expensive. For example a bottle of wine much enjoyed by us at Mark Jordan at the beach was £10 more a bottle at the Grand. Good wine is something I don’t skimp on but I don’t like being fleeced!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast and great location.
Cons: The jacuzzi could have been hotter.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms completed to a high standard. My initial room was on a main corridor and a bit noisy so I asked for another room after night 1, and the staff couldn’t have been better - all dealt with quickly and with zero fuss. Little niggles will occur from time to time and I think what marks a hotel out is how they deal with them. Top marks! Breakfast also brilliant.
Cons: Can’t really fault a thing.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff are lovely & friendly
Cons: The floor was creaking, the beds were uncomfortable, the beds were not made up when we arrived as we requested twin

Pros: Nice Location fantastic sea view...nice Staff very friedly. Great fish and chips meal...excellent breakfast service. Will come back for sure. BEST REGARDS Holger
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good choice breakfast, easy quick access, lovely view. Lunch with friends was fine in the bar. Comfortable ambiance. Service friendly. Evening snack good. Asked for a particular programme on the TV and was given remote - perfect!
Cons: Décor a bit tired and my room had a tiny, difficult to move in bathroom, inland view but I did not expect too much as I had a good offer and paid as single. The actual bed and furniture, kettle etc was all as expected. That room would not have suited a romantic deal and was a bit small for a couple. Tried a coffee on the outside balcony (in front of bar) but although sheltered and well placed I was disappointed as the wooden handrail bar along the top blocked most of the stunning view when sitting down. Try it out! Maybe there is a solution...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely phenomenal staff from start to finish. Friendly, personable and nothing was too much. It made our stay! Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds - best sleep I've had in ages, powerful showers, fantastic breakfast and a balcony overlooking the beach which is perfect for a sit outside to blow off the cobwebs this time of year.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Location by the sea was lovely. Staff attentive and friendly
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: I am a local person and decided to stay at the L’Horizon Hotel for three days as a bit of a treat to myself. I had heard good things about the hotel. Upon arrival I was allocated a room and made my way to the first floor, which turned out to be a disabled room (no problems) I went to the loo and discovered faecal matter already present in the toilet bowl. Laying on the bed and relaxing, I drifted off only to be suddenly awoken by the loud noise of a water tank refilling. I phoned reception and informed them and they arranged for me to change rooms. Unfortunately the new room was located next to a stairwell where a strong draft had found its way through the door Jamb of my room causing the door to bang loudly on its hinges. I was then moved again at 5am and was provided with a sea view room which was entirely adequate. I did notice that room service trays are left in the hall ways and are not collected promptly which is unsightly. The breakfast was good and the staff attentive. Overall with it being off-season I wonder if standards had slipped a little. I enjoyed my stay but was in generality disappointed with the whole experience.
Cons: See above

7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good with a wide choice available, dinner was very nice and of a high standard. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. The views from the hotel across the bay were wonderful.
Cons: The hotel, in my opinion, would benefit from some refurbishment, particular in the hallways and staircases. The bathroom in the room, whilst kept very clean was rather small and a little dated.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and responsiveness to all requests and queries. The location is well serviced by public transport. The beach is only a couple of hundred yards away next to the golf course and overlooked by the impressive Mont Orgueil Castle well worth a visit. The hotel has a well maintained garden protected from the wind. The restaurant is well managed and efficient. The english breakfast is flexible providing a varied combination of ingredients. The staff are extremely helpful and easy to engage.
Cons: Storage space in the bathroom is limited.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was delightful and in a perfect location , parking was very good . The room was very comfortable as were the beds and linen. Breakfast was served by happy polite staff and there was plenty of variety. We had dinner the first evening of our stay which was excellent. We would have eaten in the evening again but like to vary our restaurants.
Cons: Nothing.
7.5 Good
Cons: The hotel rate direct was£140.00 I was almost charged that rate had I not confirmed my booking.com booking first.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our accommodation was big, clean and comfortable but the state of decoration in both the bedroom and the bathroom would benefit from a bit of upgrading. Breakfast was a real treat with plenty of options, including wonderful kippers, the only downside being that there was no bread one morning. What made the Beausite stand out for us was the lovely swimming pool and hot tub which was surprisingly underused by other guests.
Cons: The bedroom furniture and the bathroom in our room are in need of improvement, though this didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff even laughed at my jokes which I made in Portuguese and Polish
Cons: The weather

Pros: The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Also the hotel was very accommodating of our requests as our flight times were odd. This flexibility made it very easy for us.

Pros: The staff are really attentive and friendly
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the food was cooked well. The bedroom amenities were good, especially the walk-in shower. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, including providing information on bus routes and tourist sites. Children were interacted with very well and the outside pool and tennis courts would be great for them in the summer. There was ample car parking behind the hotel and was away from the main road.
Cons: The bedroom was a little on the small side for two people and there was a problem that the window opened on to a small outside courtyard which was being used by smokers and the smell stayed on the heavy curtains in the room. The hotel had nothing to offer guests from 10am to 6pm including coffee/teas or snacks and dinner was a little on the expensive side. This was a downside but only as the weather was not very good for going out. There was no outside light from the car park down the side of the hotel and was very dark at night, especially when trying to avoid large puddles!

Pros: The breakfast was absolutely superb. All the members of staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though we arrived before lunch we were shown to our room. We'd definitely highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.
Cons: A little better heating in the room. The hot water took an age to come through in the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Manager of this hotel is such a lovely person and so are all the other staff as well, they really go out of their way to please their customers and made our stay such a brilliant one. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant down stairs was really nice and they do a lovely Sunday lunch. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.
