Excellent breakfast, lovely location, good sharing with other guests
The owner was very friendly and helpful. He guided us regarding places to visit and he allowed guests to us the kitchen at any time of the day so it was possible to make a packed lunch or prepare a light meal in the evening. There was also a lounge where guests could sit and read and a TV (although we didn't use it). A very warm experience.
The room we stayed in had a large wardrobe (closet) with sliding mirror doors but no drawers. It would be a good idea to put a set of drawers inside the wardrobe so that small items could be unpacked. It could also have done with more hangers.
Little bit difficult to find, even with GPS.
We had a fantastic time at Lillaskog. The place is situated in one of the most beautiful areas we have seen during our visit to California, and the house itself is extremely charming and cozy. You instantly feel at home after being welcomed by the owners with smiles and home made pie.
Beautiful property in a wildreness of pine treees, hills, lakes. Only 30 min, or so, drive to Yosemite western gate on freeway120. Bill, the owner, is warm and friendly. All six rooms seem to me spacios, clean and comfotable. Full equiped kitchen allow you sometimes to cook your meal there. Among guests there many people from Europe and Australia, as well as from this country
The lodge offers a really unique experience of real american hospitality. It really has anything that a Yosemite visitor needs. Something that everybody have to try, expecially young couples or families.
A bit too distant from common services.
