first class kitchen and food . excellent dinner rooms are way to small , beds not comfortable at all for that price , wont stay there definetely not anymore
A well-maintained and comfortable venue with an excellent restaurant and sumptuous breakfast buffet.
Friendly staff. Lack of lounge area to relax.
Very freindly and helpful staff No mini bar no coffee and tea making facility .the bar shut down on the sunday night
Good location for my needs Needs air conditioning, room was uncomfortably hot
Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be appreciated
no fuss, clean, well organised, good breakfast
Nice room.Nice outlook.Good breakfast.Good parking. No tea and coffee facilities in room.
Nice place to stay, with good food and helpful staff. Hotel is well-situated and the rooms are adequate, very clean and quiet.
great place to stay nice places to eat and local wines none
Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Would have liked tea/coffee making facility in room.
The breakfast is very good, and the pillow and quilt are better than many 3-star hotels. This is a cooking corner inside thesecond wardrobe. some room on the street side are noisy.
close to the autobahn
24 hour reception staff, excellent breakfast.
This is the second time I have stayed at the Asgard Hotel (my partner has stayed there a lot more often) and yet again we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff are very friendly and their English is very good. The rooms are comfortable. There was a good choice at breakfast. Location is very good being on the outskirts of Worms. This year we had a room with a much smaller bathroom and the shower was a bit cramped.
The staff were helpful. The rooms were spacious and had nice views. The breakfast was good and started early. All in all, we had a really good stay. There was no kettle in the room.
The private underground parking was excellent and the breakfast was lovely with many different choices on offer.
We (me and my wife) appreciated very much the breakfast and the cleansiness and large side of the bedroom (provided also with a little kitchen) there is no free parking owned by the hotel
Size and comfort of room Loctaion
We booked the "double room" on booking.com and got a very large room, more like a small appartment, with couches, table etc. Room was spotlessly clean. Location was fine, about 10 minutes walking to Worms center. Goog parking underneath the hotel. The description mentioned a sauna, which was closed due to reconstruction. Bathroom was quite basic and for example had no one person packages of shampoo, soap, etc.
Central location right beside the Dom and with a pleasant terrace where food and drink can be served. Friendly and helpful staff who tried hard to overcome the language barrier. Would happily return.
Location, value for the money, staff, able to listen to the local church bells. Room faced the courtyard and the restaurant personnel sometimes made noise until around 10PM. The local church bells starting ringing at 7AM which may be a concern to some people.
Very helpful people is in charge. Enter to the hotel is through the restaurant which was surprising, but there was quite a good ambience and we dined there quite well at a reasonable price and nice quality for comfort food. There is no elevator to go to the rooms which was not a problem for us but might be for other people. Bed was not very large.
it was in the city lovely shopping center hope to come again
I especially like the location. You can walk anywhere in Worms from this hotel. It is not luxury, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is included in the fee and is a great way to start the day. I never had to eat lunch, which saved me money. This is the second time I have stayed at Kriemhilde and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. My room was on the inner courtyard side and a bit noisy from the kitchen in the mornings and evenings. That didn't bother me but it might bother someone who was a light sleeper.
The hotel staff was wonderful and I felt very welcome there. Two things. One, it was hard getting the suitcases up the stairs. Got through it so not that big of a deal. Two, I did not want to leave I liked it so much.
The hotel is in the very center of the city just two hundred meters from the cathedral.
staff, location no elevator
The location is super, you overlook the Dom of St. Peter. They could use some black out curtains on the window. Breakfast was not available until 8 AM. Hot water for showers and sink was inconsistent.
The position was outstanding. Right across the street from the tourist office and write next to the pedestrian mall. We found the lighting very depressing. Please use stronger bulbs.
An excellent location in the center of Worms. Although the front entry is on a pedestrian street, the rear entrance is accessible by car and is close to the convenient (free) underground garage of the hotel. Don't be mislead by the appearance of the building on the outside, as on the inside the room (and the rest of the hotel) were very nice, new and pleasant.
Sight seeing in both Worms and Heidleberg
Size of room was way above expectations. Good buffet breakfast. Location was central to sites. No driving was necessary.
Friendliness of staff and their recommendation of a restaurant
As I was in a wheelchair it was helpful to have a lift and an entrance with no steps. This was a major reason for choosing this hotel.
No A/C room was very hot even with windows open, no screens on windows to keep bugs out.
Central location, good breakfast, though restaurant closed on Sat evening
The location and friendliness of the staff
I like all place of the hotel. No, There was not any.
frendly staff, wine shop in hotel - wine is the best need staff on reseption on sunday
Very clean, very peaceful after a long drive, very helpful staff despite language barrier
The large room and the service when selecting and tasting wines. I had hoped the hotel would have been cozier.
The hotel is in a quiet location. The standard of the meals and variance were very good. A very pleasant hotel to stay in.
Excellent Service and very accomodating staff.
Pleasant staff, very clean and the wine selection, which was very good came predominantly from thier own winery. We were surprised that they produced red wine, and it was very good. The food was very salty
they treat you like family
Very friendly, helpful staff; lovely room; great breakfast; gorgeous location; very relaxing break. Thankyou
Cleanliness, arrangements, Buffet, etc. A hotel in this category should offer a business center with intenet access for clients or at least a w-lan connection at the lobby. Thefefore "poor" in services / facilities
Spacious room. Good parking. On the second day a visiting conference descended like locusts on the breakfast buffet so that by the time we arrived there was little choice & the dishes were not replenished.
The restaurant and bar staff were effecient and the quality of food was excellent. Over a pleasant experience. The breakfast could have some additional food items.
The staff was helpful and able to answer my questions. I was disappointed that the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday.
Free, convenient and easy car parking
the hotel no
This is a business hotel with its own, free, carpark and was very quiet the weekend we stayed there. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient. Our room was on the top floor and was enormous, I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel room which has its own lobby! No air-con, but a fan was provided. There was a pretty little terrace. The hotel was about 10 mins walk from the centre of Worms. No air-con.
Service was good Room was hot
Breakfast was great. The fact that internet was free only in the lobby. Should be free in the room.
It was an old hotel that had been renovated some time ago and good value for money. The food servcie staff for dinner were great and gave good advice on food and wine. Only free internet in the foyer and bar - not in the rooms.
Hotel room was excellent. Last time we had a very lumpy fold out bed, so this time they gave us a suite where our son slept in a separate room on the couch. Breakfast is always very nice. Dinner experience was beyond horrific!!! They had a big dinner group in the restaurant plus it was a Saturday evening, but still we waited over an hour for our first course and during this wait we were completely ignored, no apologies, no update or explanation and not even some bread to tie us over. The waitress got our drink order completely wrong and it took another 20 min to bring the "right drinks". I finally asked for some bread as our son was starving and they said yes, but once again I had to ask again after 15 min. All the restaurant guests got some kind of special "on the house" appetizer/amuse but as hotel guests I guess we were less important so we didn´T. When the food came it was good, however definitely not worth the wait.
Good restaurant, good location. Low continuous humming noise throughout the night made sleep difficult. Sounded like a plumbimg problem.
The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very clean
Friendly staff, excellent restaurant. No complaints.
Very friendly staff. Good value for area. Nice bedroom and clean. Not far from motorway system but not sure how we would have done without satnav. Food good (but English visitors note very German in style and computerised translation of menu slightly erratic e.g. sausage made from belly pork translates to "pig's stomach"). Excellent value and very good house reisling.
Hotel is nice, spacious, good location with free parking. Rooms are fairly new(renovated) and very spacious in excellent condition. Breakfast was good like last time with extremely friendly service. This is not a summer hotel. There is no air conditioning or van in the room and if you open the window you get eaten alive by mosquitoes. I called the reception at 11pm to ask if they could place a van in the room or had hordes to cover the window but they had nothing neither did they have another solution. Result being that we didn´t sleep all night. Dinner was also disappointing. I mentioned I was vegetarian and asked if they mushroom with rosti was vegetarian to which the answer was yes. When it arrived there was bacon in it. One of the waitresses tried to deny it, so I dissected the dish and showed her. There also was a hair in the soup. Last but not least the fold out bed for our son was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable.
Very charming setting and welcoming ambience! Clean and efficient with pleasant restaurant.Choice of local wines outstanding.
Initial room size was too small. After room change, the room size was OK. Hotel was stuffy. Wet smell was prevalent in hall ways. Hotel needs better air circulation.
It is a very typical german hotel/restaurant in a very pretty village. Hardly anyone spoke English which was difficult but added to the charm of the hotel and location. The service in the restaurant was a little poor but this could have been to do with the fact that they had a wedding on the night we stayed. Aside from that, the staff were very accommodating and got up especially early for us the next morning to do us a take-away breakfast as had an early departure.
Very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Excellent food in the restaurant (and at breakfast) and great draught pils. Staff very friendly and efficient.
guest house on walking distance from hotel; good free parking place; nice spaceous room on top floor of the guest house; very clean; friendly staff in the hotel.Good starting point for Deutsche Weinstrasse only but serious comment: not enough reading lights in the room
