Pros: The staff was nice and helpful at all times, the rooms are spacious and super clean! Delicious cappuccino for breakfast, good location to explore Stilo and the area around it. We walked up to "La Cattolica" and even to the old castle ruin on top of the hill. Fantastic views!
Cons: The light in the room was very bright and "cold", some bedside lamps would make it a lot cosier. The rooms were very cold when we arrived.
Pros: Excellent location, easy to find, plenty of free parking and a good quality hotel after staying in a lot of b+bs. Easy to walk into the town where there are a few things to see. Several bars and a good restaurant just down the road on the same side. Reasonable breakfast.
Pros: Very nice and cosy place for a standard hotel, the staff was super friendly, smooth check in and payment process, excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff!
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming host. Knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was abundant. We particularly enjoyed the view from our room. All around our accommodation in Stilo made this a highlight of our trip through Calabria!
Pros: Very kind staff at the reception and breakfast room, they gave us a great room with balcony and amzing views, good breakfast, easy to park the car (you must have a car), Quiet place. If you go to Stilo it's surely the place to stay.
Pros: We had the only room with the balcony overlooking the sea and the mountains. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and sunset over the mountains was wonderful to watch

Pros: Sonia was a wonderful host.
Cons: The weather was cold and wet
Pros: Excellent location in the centre of Stilo
Pros: The host Beatrice was prompt and responsive. The room funishings were new, a small balcony to feel the weather, air conditioning worked well, the room was comfortable, the kitchen design, facilities and breakfast snacks were lovely. A fruit vendor was at the entry to the building making it easy to grab and go. The airport and beach of Gizzeria Lido were nearby. The art and lighting added a special touch.
Cons: The refurbished B&B is in an older building with wood stairs that were clean. The downtown location wasn't super comfortable but I arrived when few people were on the streets.
Pros: It’s at the center of the city. The location is great. The staffs are very nice, helpful and friendly. The small garden in front of the hotel is so lovely. There’s a shared refrigerator in front of your room. You can buy some beverages and keep them cool in the fridge. The room is clean and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was fine.
Pros: Friendly owner (nice mother of the family) runs B&B in very beautiful house in Stilo. Really clearn and comfortable room / bed. Location is wonderful. I have stayed at two nights, I was happy that she came to my room to clearn at noon and bring a few snacks for me at night. Especially I was traveling without the car, her advice about bus information and time schedule was accuracy. The bus come to Plazzia San Francesco in front of the B&B. I love here very much. I cannot speak Italian, and she cannot speak English but there was no problem. I was really fun to communicate with her. You know, Stilo people is open and nice!! It was imforgettable memory for me.
Cons: No, there was perfect. I regret to not add 5 euro for the breakfast. She is nice cook, I wanted to taste the carrabrese breakfast! Next time I will try.
Pros: Clean, comfortable room.
Cons: Parking had been requested per the Booking.com description, but there is NO parking. There is NO road access. Breakfast at €5 pp was charged in addition to the room price, but it was not provided at the location - guests have to take breakfast at a nearby café where if breakfast is bought directly, it's half the price paid. The description 'B&B' is inaccurate. The image listed on Booking.com bears no relation to the hotel.
Pros: Nice room, completely new facility. Had all the comfort and privacy a B&B needs
Cons: Owner is very helpful and nice but hardly speaks anything else but Italian. It was also a bit hard to find the B&B as signage wasn't visible from the road. In the area there is not a lot to do but the location makes it easy for a stay-over and is a great point to continue exploring the area

When you stay at L'Orto Degli Ulivi in Stilo, you'll be 12 minutes by car from Cattolica di Stilo Church.
Pros: This place is absolutely outstanding. Antonio and Pina are wonderful, kind, generous hosts, showed us around their incredible farm/garden, and we dined with them, one of the most delicious meals of my entire life, all home-farmed and home-cooked. We didn't even feel the need to go in to Stilo. Visiting with Antonio and Pina at L'Orto degli Ulivi was the highlight of our entire trip to Calabria.
Cons: We liked everything about our visit to L'Orto degli Ulivi.
Pros: Very nice people. Room clean in a nice house. 12 km to beautiful beach. Stilo is a nice city on the mountain, castle and cattolica are to visit.
Pros: Anyone who stays here is in for a massive treat, you come across great places like this only rarely. Giuseppina and Antonio are fantastic hosts, and most everything you eat is grown by them and made in their kitchen. We joined them for a superb evening meal of bruschetta, pasta with wild boar sauce, hare, and delicious home made pastries which we ate again for breakfast. All accompanied by Antonio's own wine. This is wonderful food, authentic "cucina povera" - you would never eat anything this good in a restaurant! If you are lucky you may be serenaded on the piano by Antonio and join him in a verse or two of " O Sole Mio". An unforgettable experience.
Pros: The owners were great. All breakfast items were homemade and they even made dinner for us. Staying here felt more like being a house guest rather than a typical B&B feel.
Cons: The property was a little far away from city.

Pros: The owner is very nice and friendly. I came to Monasterace by train and didn’t know exactly how to get to Stilo. He then offered to ride me from the train station to the hotel. It was really kind of him. He also took care of the breakfast very well. The service is absolutely good. The room decoration is quite beautiful. The location of the hotel is also perfect, not far from the city center. It was really a good experience there.
Cons: It’s typical that in most of the rooms in south Italy there’s no heater, therefore it’s quite cold at night.
Pros: Stilo is a little place located in the middle of the mountains with great possibilities for hiking and climbing. The history is all around you and it has unique and very magic atmosphere. And so has Palazzo Stillitano, the beautifully restored old house directly in the city center. My stay here was one of the nicest in Calabrie. Many thanks signore Luciano! :)
Pros: Our hosts Luciano and Carmellina were terrific in every way. We arrived in a tow truck with our poor rental car on the back. The driver left us near the town square and Luciano asked his son to take us with our luggage to the B&B. This is a palace from the 1700s, renovated for every comfort but maintaining the feel of a grand palazzo. The sound does not carry. The view was splendid (and we had a full moon). The bedroom was very large and the bath had both tub and shower outfitted with spa jets. Very nice. The whole aspect was inviting, down to the silk curtains gently moving with the breeze. Within view of the terrace on the third floor is the Cattolica and some of the ancient city wall, the site of the castle... This is the place! Beautifully situated in town (it was a good thing we did not have to naval gate the narrow street, but parking on the Main Street or a bit further down where the road is wider would have been very close and safe. Did I say, This is the place to stay in Stilo. Enjoy!
Pros: Lovely stay in a comfortable room in a real old palazzo. Our hosts were very kind and gave us good recommendations of where to eat and visit (Stilo is lovely) and took us to the nearest station when we left as no buses on a Sunday.
Pros: Loved the old/traditional building and the welcome by our host. We were given our own apartment really as it was a separate section of the building and we were thus independent. Windows can all be opened.
Pros: Nicely preserved old house with original furniture. Situated at the center of Stilo. Breakfast at cafe near by, Very nice and helpful owner. We have our car parked at the plaza for the night and found it barricaded by market stalls in the morning. Luckily we have the B&B negotiated our car out of it. Million thanks!
Pros: This B&B is in am amazing location in the beautiful town of Stilo. The building itself is a fascinating historical structure and very comfortable also. Breakfast was delicious with fruit, pastries, yogurt and coffee. Our host insisted on driving us to dinner to be sure we found a good place to eat. He was delightful and patient with our lack of Italian.
Pros: Very friendly staff, nice garden to sit outside, great view on the sea. Breakfast was plenty and many things are homemade.

Cons: We would not recommend this hotel to Americans. It is a beach resort for locals, and not well-staffed or maintained. Breakfast was minimal, and the mosquitoes were horrific.
Pros: Friendly, very clean, pool excellent & close to beach. Access good.
Cons: Breakfast could have had more selection.
Pros: friendliness of the staff and the location
Cons: food prices in the restaurant were a bit expensive in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in.
