Offering a garden with outdoor pool, Agriturismo Il Canterino is located in Montecatini Val di Cecina. Free Wi-Fi access is available at this farm stay, and rooms have rustic styling. The accommodation at the family-run Canterino will provide you with a TV and private bathroom. A sweet and savoury breakfast is provided daily, using local products. Guests can also purchase vegetables produced on the farm. Cecina is 18 km from the property. Volterra is a 25-minute drive away.
Pros: Nice view and in very near the main attractions
Cons: The property is dog friendly but the owner has a huge dog that although friendly with the humans is not very friendly with other dogs. Our small dog was attacked two times. since this dog is free to move in the property we had to keep ours mostly in the room. I strongly suggest to the owner to explain the situation clearly to future guests.
Pros: Beautifully situated and nice pool
Cons: I don't think we had wi-fi. Directions to find the place could have been much simpler by mentioning the restaurant on the roadside where the track to the farm begins.
Located in Riparbella, Borgo Felciaione is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of La Regola Azienda Vitivinicola and Parco Avventura Il Giardino Sospeso. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The children loved the swimming pool but not me!
Cons: Breakfast was not good at all.
Pros: Nice hosts. Wonderfull location. Nice appartment with own terrace. Very quiet place, at least early may, with sea view
Cons: Communication in the bar bit difficult. No one speaking english.
Pros: beautiful place!!! nice and clean apartmas, great bathroom, kitchen, good beds... beuatiful restaurant next to pools, many gardens, view, outside private seating area....also ok if you have children parking next to apartma, very nice staff, late check in-out great!!! thank you
Pros: Very Nice farm land.
Cons: cold for spring weather.
Pros: Location, views and property.
Cons: Room with AC
Pros: Virtually everything, wonderful setting with very nice facilities.Nice bar and restaurant beside pool area. Nice clean and modern room with great shower and kitchenette for those self catering. Staff were very helpful and understanding of English. Whole complex was very modern with nice grounds well cared for!
Cons: The access road is quite rough concrete for the middle part but at least not dirt road. The kitchenette had everything bar a towel for drying cups etc. There was no wall or desk mirror for the dressing table only mirror was in the bathroom which needed some decent towel rail/s! All minor things which could improve the functionality and overall stay
Pros: Nice and clean apartment, beautiful pool area, very friendly staff. Its located on the hill and beautiful views opens from all the sides. Very relaxing place, and it is great to chill out by the pool in the evenings.
Cons: For the hot days air conditioner could be helpful. Also an iron would be useful, at least 1 that you could borrow in reception.
Located in Guardistallo, Residence Il Paradiso is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Hermann Geiger Cultural Foundation and Archaeological Park of Villa Romana of San Vincenzino. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location, the pool, the restaurant, the play garden, the pine trees etc... The service: like we received a child bed for free. Very nice holidays at this place.
Cons: The room was never cleaned for 10 days stay, but I assume this was not foreseen in the price. The shower is too small... Real Italian coffee should not be served in pods ;-)
Pros: Perfect for a family. Rooms were large. Loved that we were able to sit outside our rooms for breakfast and in the evening. Staff were so friendly and approachable. Alessandro made a delicious Calzone and we ate it in the pizzeria by the pool. Very good value for money.
Pros: Very quiet and pieceful accommodation, with beautiful patio and garden all around the complex. Perfect for families with small children. Hosts are very kind, breakfast was nice.
Cons: During our spring-break stay in April it was little bit cold and apartment missed heating.
Pros: First floor apartment was great for a crawling baby as the balcony is baby safe and there is plenty of crawling space!
Pros: This place is so charming. Apartament was spacious and clean. Bed was also big and very comfortable. In the whole facility was quiet, it wasn't crowdy. Croissants, bread roll, ham, cheese, jam, cereal and such a variety of cakes - great options for breakfast. Personel was very kind and smiley, they let us stay a little longer than time of check out.
Cons: The food wasn't so good, pizza was hard, but portion was quite big.
Cons: We missed incest net at the door to the terrace. Hot water in the shower kept changing the temperature itself.
Cons: Suggesting a minimum welcome kit in the bath room
Pros: When you have a apartment on the 2nd floor, you will have a very big balcony. The apartment itself is big as well. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was provided with all the tools you need. The swimming pool was fine, enough beds and parasols.
Cons: There was a little bit of strange smell in the apartment. We didn’t like the bathroom, small shower space and the toilet was loose from the floor. The water from the sink went very slow. We stayed for four nights, and there wasn’t any cleaning. We had to ask twice for toilet paper. In general the apartment wasn’t very cozy, also because of the white/blue lights.
Situated in a rural location, this apartment building is 0.7 mi (1.2 km) from La Regola Azienda Vitivinicola and within 6 mi (10 km) of Parco Avventura Il Giardino Sospeso and Hermann Geiger Cultural Foundation. Archaeological Park of Villa Romana of San Vincenzino and Acqua Village are also within 6 mi (10 km). Riparbella Station is 10 minutes by foot.
Pros: Check in and arrival was quick and easy- I received a what's app message the day before arrival with details on how to access the keys. The giant pool has enough space and loungers for all the guests at one time. The pool opened at 9am and closed at 7:30pm which meant no body was up reserving sun loungers- they physically couldn't. The rooms were massive with a kitchen and sofa bed. The parking was secure and ample. The bar was open from 11:30am serving drinks, snacks and ice cream- great for anytime around the pool.
Cons: The menu was great for adults but not so much for children- we ate out on all 3 nights as such.
Pros: They liked the location, because the building is situated in a green area, not so far from the seaside in Cecina (about 10min by car). The building has even a pool and a free parking. The staff was quite polite and kind and the location very quiet. They would like to come back because the apartment has been good for a couple like them!
Cons: I booked the apartment for my parents, so I report strictly what they told me to write. They slept for 2 night in this apartment. What they didn't liked very much regarded, first of all the poor light in the kitchen (if you want to find a hair in your food you, can't, because the light isn't acceptable). It would have been a good thing if the kitchen had a microwave and if the staff was clearer about the way the gate works, because you are supposed to take the key from the reception and then open the mobile gate( which is a sort of metallic tube that raises from the ground, so one is not able to access the building where the apartment is located if this gate is not pulled down, because the car can't come closer to the building). Due to this reason my parents carried their luggage for a long distance, because the procedure about getting this key hasn't been explained to them.
Pros: Very kind, helpful service, fast restaurant and tasty foods. the pool's temperature is perfect. Our room had an AC but we didn't use it, despite outside was +30 Celsius because the temperature was so good inside. Good parking place.
Pros: Studio was for us ideal. But a little more lighting would be welcome in bathroom and kitchen area.
Pros: The residence is in nice place, nice nature around..next to granaio are other residences too..the parking space is big enough but not next to building..but in the arrivel and leaving is possible park in front.. The young lady in reception very kind and helpful! We needed to change the room and all worked great..possibility to cook..just a little darker kitchen..big nice pool..
Cons: There wasn’t cleaning service..I think possible with some charge of money. The mattresses were very very soft..we changed to the other room where was harder and stable one (new mattress) First night was very noisy in front from the restaurant almost until 2:00 am..very annoying..also reason to change the room to other side of the pool view.. You can hear neighbours (but it is in more places in Italy, normal) annoying neighbours moving furniture up late around midnight... Shower very small but this is also often to see in more places .. Older furniture..
Pros: A great spot to combine lazy days by the pool with lazy days by the beach a short drive away :) We had an apartment which was fully equipped for cooking. Apartments are a little dark but nice and cool thanks to the air conditioning and perfectly spacious and comfortable.
Cons: - The floor of the apartment clearly had not been cleaned when we checked in... our baby's hands and knees were filthy after only 10 minutes of crawling around. The receptionist apologised profusely and sent cleaning staff the next morning but even then it was not super clean... - VERY thin walls - Prepare to be autonomous... there is almost a total lack of staff during the day (apart from at the bar by the pool which opens at noon). We found out most things about the residence (like the fact that they offer free beach loungers at a campsite on the beach nearby) by reading the website...
Pros: Amazing location.. an immersive if you are looking for aexperience in the nature with a breathtaking view. The room is clean and comfort. THe style of forniture is essential consistently with the location. Highly recomended!
Cons: Breakfast should be included
Pros: Very homely - both the children and us enjoyed the rustic nature of the place
Located in Riparbella, Borgo San Pecoraio is within a 15-minute drive of La Regola Azienda Vitivinicola and Parco Avventura Il Giardino Sospeso. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: WARNING when reading gas reading when you get to the location, I read my gas at the end without knowing what it was like when I came as that I gave 212 euro per accommodation and 75 euro ???? on gas. I GET THERE MORE GRIJA
Pros: location, pool, bar and bar service
Cons: Lack od WiFi on a room, hard mattresses and pillows, extra cost for cleaning (I do not like hidden prices)
Pros: The estate in which all the properties were located was beautifully laid out and provided, from key points, sweeping views downhill towards the Med, Elba and even Corsica when weather good. It included two pools: one beside the restaurant, was a good size with an area particularly suited to children; the other was vast - almost like a small lake. The restaurant was generally good although the wine was pricey.
Cons: Difficult to know where to start! No one available when we arrived and not friendly or helpful when identified (owner especially rude). So-called studio was woefully inadequate in almost every sense and although we managed to get a better one on the following day, the reception staff seemed both indifferent to and wholly unapologetic for their inadequacies. We had to move back to the earlier studio for our last night and only a mere €15 deducted (with evident reluctance) from our bill of €515. TV was very poor; kitchen equipment unsatisfactory and seating - both inside and outside - not very comfortable. No outside lighting either! While location is pretty the winds could be chilly and it's some distance to nearest village. Not recommended on any account.

Pros: Clean room and beautiful hotel equipments. Good environment.
Cons: Very poor breakfast. Only two type of distasteful premade cake, packed toast. Airconditioner would be needed, the room was quite warm.
Pros: Location staff and pool all excellent
Pros: Pool was really nice. Clean room, friendly owners.
Cons: The only problem was very poor breakfast which was included. Equipment was bit old but that’s only a matter of taste, not a problem.
Pros: Beautiful place in the middle of nature. The animals in the night sounded as if you are in the jungle, very nice. Comfortable room w balcony and spectacular view and stars in the night. Spacious pool surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers, butterflies and sterlings. Good price. The town of Riparbella 5 km away has a cosy and lively centre.
Cons: The owner hardly spoke English, there were only 4 guests (us included) in the 12 room hotel and the restaurant was abandoned and the atmosphere was not very invitational to stay. Maybe the place was not open very long but we could not communicate with the owners to ask. We hope the place will florish in the future since it is a beautiful location.
Pros: Of course, the best here was the view, it was outstanding, view from every point was great. Pool was good, and I suggest this place if you want quiet. Very nice comunication with owner.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable and a little bit was smell of unfresh air. Accomodations could be improved.

Pros: No wi-fi. Only in the hotel lobby. Nophone service at all in the rooms.
Cons: Grumpy staff. The simpelest question seems to bother them.
Pros: The location.
Cons: The price, the staff, wet room, dirty bath. For the price, it’s horrible. Unless you really have to, I don’t recommend staying here.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Furniture and devices need a revamp
Pros: Breakfast excellent. Staff helpful
Cons: Very little catering for vegetarians particularly on the prepaid set dinner.
