Pros: The bed is super comfortable and the room is very pleasant. The breakfast was all fresh items with the staff having a lot of attention to make sure your needs are met. Check in and check out is very easy and you can call to meet the best schedule for arrival. Very cozy and familiar accommodation which is worth the stay in. The complimentary water in the room is a huge plus point. The Reims are big and plenty of space. The house don’t have parking but in the street there’s plenty of space to put your car (be careful because is paid from 9h to 20h in week days.
Cons: It’s not actually negative points but if you are picky in your accommodation choice. The building is little old so in the corridor makes some noise people walking (but you are in center of Matosinhos so all of buildings are like that). The breakfast starts only at 8h30 (but it’s worth the wait).
Pros: Comfortable and clear room. I recomend to others. Good & tasty breakfast.
Pros: Near public transportation to Porto. Good recommendations from staff about local restaurants. Staff went out of way to provide a substantial snack for us because we had to depart before breakfast was served.
Pros: The communication with the facility management was easy and very friendly. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast room was delightful and the continental breakfast served was lovely.
Pros: Staff was always friendly. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. Room was spacious, really clean and with all the basic commodities!
Cons: You hear everything from the nearby rooms and halls. A small issue with the bath door which never closed properly and some water just spilled outside.
Pros: Really nice room, very friendly host and great breakfast. It was close to the beach and the main street of fish restaurants was just around the corner. Also very close to the Caminho route.
Pros: It was very clean
Cons: This is not the fault of the Facility that the other guests don’t think of others sharing the house. The guests on the main floor banged doors entering and leaving the house. We had a hard time getting to sleep, wondering when they would be back. But it’s no fault of the staff or owner of casa Godinho

Pros: Staff was great!
Cons: The bed was hard as rock. I had to use the pillows from the sofa and put them under the flat sheet to sleep. It was the worst ever in all my travels.
Pros: Location, airport pickup, bar, morning breakfast. Easy access to public transport. Was even offered a free lift to nearby location and metro. Great shower and bathroom facilities. Lovely clean room away from traffic and street noises. All was good. It was a quick convenient stay, would definitely use the hotel if I was traveling to Porto. My flight arrived in Porto so with such easy access I was literally lying in my bed in the hotel before other people were in Porto city centre!!

Pros: This was my first time travelling alone and staying at a place like this. Super accomodating and kind hosts, made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived, good facilities, totally worth the price, perfect for my simple short stay.
Pros: The beds were wonderful. I love that there are curtains, so you get your own privacy even if you`re sharing the room. Every bed had its own locker, light and plug for charger. The bathroom upstairs was a bit smaller (sharing showers and toilets), but the one downstairs was great and big. Breakfast was good, more than the "regular" portuguese breakfasts. If I ever come back to Matosinhos I will definitively stay there.
Cons: Can't think of anything. Really enjoyed the stay.
Pros: Paula Is a wonderful person, a perfect, gentle and mannered host.. Thank You
Cons: No complaints. I felt very much welcome.
Pros: Great location, nice breakfast, property clean and warm.
Cons: The room was under the roof, kept hitting my head, ouch.
Pros: breakfast was ok, coffee could be better, bit awkward in the kitchen when everyone was trying to help themselves, crockery cupboards were to high up Iam 5 ft.8 inches and could only just manage.
Cons: only one lady on staff duty and was not in a good mood, said she could not speak english when we heard her talking to someone in good english ! so went outside and asked a by passer for. directions to the camino . all in all not bad ,maybe a bit late in season.
Pros: Puplic Transport next to, also the sea and the Beach Clean, towels and handkerchieves changed every second day
Cons: When the couch is needed dir sleeping the room is very small

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Pros: Big room with nice and modern decoration, super friendly staff, delicious breakfast with great view, nice restaurants nearby.
Pros: Better than sleeping on the street... Nothing was OK!!!
Cons: Avoid this hotel because of the small rooms, poorly trained staff, rooms with smell of smoke from outside grilling food, false advertising on booking.com, lack of respect for their customers! We stayed 3 nights that look like 3 nights of nightmare! 1. The hotel - hotel is located on a street with many restaurants that cook outside on grill all day and ALL NIGHT, so you will have to breathe the smoke from grill - rooms are above restaurant with the famous grill, so you cannot open the door of balcony... the smoke from the grill will get straight into your room. 2. The staff: - they charge me as prepayment (6 months in advance) with value of whole stay even on booking.com they say that payment is made at check-out. One month later they gave me money back (after some emails sent to hotel) and I paid at check-out. - staff from the restaurant from 3rd floor don't speak a very good English. It is very difficult in the morning to receive what you need, because they don't speak English. - when we late for 5 min at breakfast lady from the reception told us not to go to the restaurant because we will not be served because is to late... rude attitude!!! - I asked the lady from reception to tell me if there is an day pass for public transport in Porto but she didn't know - you will receive only one access card in your room. Nobody hear me when I knock on door, because doors are very well soundproof. I had to go to reception to ask to open me the door. - when we asked a new room, because of smoke from the outside grill, we were told that there were no other room 3. The breakfast - is very poor: some bad cheese, some ham and some fruits... is the same every day - at breakfast you have to ask for a dish o fruit, if you find somebody who understand English, but you cannot to select what you want... same with omelette - you have to ask...
Pros: Swimming pool
Pros: Nice staff, very helpful and all around very good service.
Pros: receptionist immediately got the reason of our disappointment on the arrival to the property
Cons: Neighborhood: pretty much is the back yard of Docapesca Matosinhos which is huge fish dock with all the corresponding companions - fishing gears, smell, army of sea gulls: https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ACYBGNTGU2d1EuzDOLHcJXgqyRoQjXpW0A:1570991313420&q=what+is+docapesca+in+matosinhos&tbm=isch&source=univ&sxsrf=ACYBGNTGU2d1EuzDOLHcJXgqyRoQjXpW0A:1570991313420&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiK17nZ7pnlAhUih-AKHfSUA8kQsAR6BAgIEAE&biw=1440&bih=685 In addition the restaurant is grilling the fish in the street and all smoke, ash, and smell is going up to the room windows and inside the building. Buckets with ash are kept right in the street. Set of garbage cans from the fish restaurant are kept in front of the building and radiating terrible smell. Dirty and ugly horizontal blinds on the windows are hiding the windows covered with the layers of dust and ash mix with marks of rain that was 2 weeks ago (nothing in common with the website photos). Bedroom windows facing the garbage cans in the street.
Pros: Excellent hotel
Cons: 1) lots of noice from the street and fish market, the glasses were not sound proof 2) getting hot water on the sink took ages to get and to shave I needed to activate the mechanism manually all time 3) no individual lamps on the bed, unavoidable to wake up the wifey to read or go to toilet l

Pros: This is a modern hotel in a good position for using the facilities of Matosinhos: the cafes, restaurants, shops, beach and key transport connections (metro, bus to Porto) are all within reasonable walking distance. Our room - a 'superior suite' - was spacious and comfortable with good views over the port area and much of the town. The breakfast room was a pleasant, airy space and the breakfast provided a variety of appetising food. The staff, when approached, were always helpful.
Cons: There was one day when room servicing seemed to be in crisis. Our room was not serviced until we went out to eat in the evening.

Cons: The closeness to airport
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was simple but good with cereals and milk, yoghurt, white bread, ham and cheese and tea & coffee. Sadly no fruits or vegetables and cornbread or something but for this price good enough. Towels for 1,50 Euro and when somebody left the shampoo you can take it....

Pros: The location is very good; it is just a 10 - 15 min walk to the terminal or about 5 mins using their shuttlebus (which costs 2 euro and is definitely to be recommended if it is raining).
Cons: It is a little spartan and I couldn't turn off my air con which kept me awake some of the night (which was a shame since I had to be up at 4 am for my flight so really couldn't afford to miss out on any sleep). The beds are hard too - though I like that, but not everyone will.

Cons: Nothing to declare
Pros: Great rooms, quiet, clean, great location for the airport, food good, breakfast excellent

Pros: This was our third stay at this hotel during the past 4 years. It is our "starting point" for walking the Portuguese Camino. Staff at reception as well as in bar & restaurant are very welcoming, friendly and helpful - the owners could not have employed a better Team. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable, breakfast is priceless (great variety, everything is really fresh!), dinner in the restaurant is very good as well. Metro station is only a short walk away.
Cons: Nothing to improve.
Pros: I like the breakfast and the cleanliness.
Cons: The noise from the exterior, because the weather and the cars in the road, and in the interior because the sound of the refrigirator.
Pros: Clean room good breakfast nice staff
Cons: You could put a duvet instead of blankets. I couldn't find the key to the safe. Electronic safe is better.
Pros: The staff was very helpful, and pleasant. Everyone I interacted with spoke English too. The rooms are comfortable, and the location near public transit is very convenient.
Cons: The walls are a bit thin. I could hear just enough of my neighbors to be concerned they could hear me too.
Pros: Very clean room, friendly and helpful stuff, good breakfast with a lot of sweets, silence at night time, comfortable bed, good connection with Porto, close to airport (taxi costs 10-15 EUR depending on day time). Tram stop 5 minutes away and you can get to Porto center with the direct line. I got also welcome drink :) I made an extra request via booking web site and it was fulfilled completely without extra charging. Strongly recommend.
Cons: There is nothing to say here. Maybe TV could be newer?
Pros: Nice location enjoyed the breakfast, The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking was just opposite the entrance so very continent.

Pros: We needed to spend the night close to the airport, and that was the reason we chose this place. It was basic but clean and the stuff was very nice. Free parking in front of the building.

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable with a private bathroom.

Cons: The locks of the rooms are noisy, you could hear them every time people came in.

Pros: This is a knocking shop with rooms rented by the hour. It is a very convenient stay for an earlier flight, provided you do not mind some comings and goings throughout the night. The room was clean and comfortable if somewhat gaudily decorated
Cons: The bed was extremely hard
Cons: Slightly smell of cigarettes smoke in the toilet
Pros: Great room! Love to have the garage underneath. It is used as hour hotel and hotel for an overnight stop near the airport. Very clean and very friendly staff, even when you only talk to "the hand" like from the Adams Family :-D I understand that for some guests discretion is important. Perfect solution for that. When you only stay over night on your travel - perfect!
Cons: The air-condition could be a bit cooler and the walls could be a little more soundproof.. or we had extra loud neighbors ;-) So we just turned the TV louder, no problem. We would stay there again!
Pros: Near the airport. So convenient. Great atmosphere, big room, big shower.
Cons: Nothing, all was great.
Pros: People should be aware that this motel is mainly for, let's say, "romantic encounters". Said that, it was really comfortable and clean. Reception through an invisible employee, private garage, a bit kitch furniture with a lot of mirrors, but all in all quality for price was very good. Wifi was excellent.
Cons: Only thing I did not like, the smell of smoke in the rooms. Not sure if it is possible to ask for a non-smoking room.
Pros: Very clean
Cons: It is a Motel setup for the sex trade although very clean it even had a room service menu with sex toys on it. Felt very sleazy. You have to drive through reception and you have no contact with staff except through a metal drawer that they push out to give you the key so you can’t see them!

Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: Room in back musty smell. Old decor.

Cons: A bit noisy since the tram is passing by the hotel but for the price incl the breakfast it’s a good option!
Pros: Very good position. Clean
Cons: The room is tiny. You can hardly move around. Nowhere to hang the towers. Also there was an annoying dripping noise. Window is tiny high up. Breakfast is very basic.
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and always fresh and the room was very cosy.
Pros: The personel is very frindly. It is the strongest point of the płace. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had everything what we needed plus the good advice about the restaurants :)

Pros: Large room with nice furniture (modern) Towels were just perfect ! a must Prices for food (room service) are quite cheap, service is fast but without any contacts with the staff, very strange too
Cons: VERY EXPENSIVE price of the breakfast for a coffee, a small orange juice and 2 industrials cookies for 12€ ! very bad experience Also, very strange to enter and park the car under the room, everything is automatic... Everything is written in portuguese, nothing in english at all very long process to go in and out, we feel like in a futurist hotel sometimes any international channels, you have to like football/sports are they have a lot of channels for it....
Pros: The room was large and comfortable.
Cons: There was no reception or restaurant facilities as advertised and there were no restaurants in the immediate area. I also have a safety concern where when wanting to leave in the morning we found that the door to the corridor was locked from the outside, had to call housekeeping to get it unlocked. When I asked what would happen in case of fire I was told the door would unlock automatically - not convinced.
Pros: There were bathrobes and complimentary items and they allowed late checkout
Cons: The door locked and I had to call someone to open everytime sometimes they would take a long time to come
Pros: It’s perfect to go to the airport or even not too far from the center.
Cons: I didn’t like that they lock the doors during the night without telling.
Pros: Big comfy beds, fantastic jacuzzis.
Cons: Cleanliness not really up to standards special the hot tubs and patio otherwise very good
Pros: It has good conditions, amazing bathroom, all the essentials needed to have an enjoyable night.
Pros: The ambience and the staff. Luisa is very kind.
Cons: This is not an hotel, this is a motel but it is not clearly highlighted in the description

Pros: The apartmant lies near the ocean :D
Pros: Manuela was super friendly. She showed us everything and explained some things to us. The room was clean and nice. There's everything you need and it's close to the caminho.
Pros: The location was good and friendly and helpfully staffed
Cons: Very tired and badly maintained with family living on site with young children, so related mess.
Pros: We have stayed at a lot of places, and this was one of the very best. Manuela seems to have thought of absolutely everything to make a guest's stay enjoyable. She anticipated every need and supplied it with a gracious smile and goodwill. The place was spotlessly clean, and the location excellent right on the Camino. Loved it and absolutely recommend it.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of without being totally nit picking - everything was great!
Pros: The place is just perfect. We had received very detailed instructions for self check-in, so we got to the place very easy. It is really easy to get there from airport. The view to the beach and helpfull owners just makes this place real paradise.
Pros: We could park our car at the backyard, the owner showed and explaind us everything. Near the ocean.
Cons: Not many nice place to eat.
With a stay at Hotel Aeroporto, you'll be centrally located in Maia, within a 15-minute drive of Casa da Musica and Museum of Port Wine. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was functional and clean. Great place for one night to catch early flight.
Cons: Rooms were not sound proof. Early morning check outs left quietly, but you could hear every movement.
Pros: Clean room
Cons: The room was cold. There is an option to use the a/c, but I personally don't like to use a/c.
Pros: a 3 minute walk from the airport, perfect for the night before an early flight.
Pros: It's only a 5-10 min walk with a suitcase on wheels to the penultimate light rail stop to the airport and there is an adequate footpath to facilitate this travel. Also, a public bus to the airport terminal building is just one stop, and a couple of mins walk to the hotel. If you had only cabin luggage you might find a route to walk to the terminal building.
Cons: It's a somewhat older building and it was pouring with rain the day we got there sufficient enough for the light rail connection to be halted for a period until the road water subsided. We had left our luggage at the hotel to return later to check-in and went to the airport via light rail to have a look around. So when ready to return, we found that light rail had been cancelled due to the effect of rain, so came back to the hotel by bus (only one stop away). The building was leaking a bit here and there with buckets around corridors and in the morning we found our outside wall was a bit damp. Extreme conditions and the older building had a bit of difficulty coping. Would not be a problem otherwise, I think. Also, no lift have to take suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs.
Pros: Brilliant accommodation, food and staff!! Definitely a stay next time in Porto. It's a 2 stars hotel but really deserves 5 :)
Pros: Hotel have got nice staff and when You arrive in the morning, there is luggage storage in hotel and you can go in the city. It´s near the airport and metro( about 10 min walking). It´s good stay if You need accommodation for short stay. It is possible to order breakfast at a good price.
Cons: Small rooms, but it is everything there. For short stay I thing that it is good hotel near airport for good price.
Pros: It was conveniently located. The room was small and they were doing renovations, so a bit of noise. Restaurants close by. Their restaurant was limited on food, but they accommodated us late at night.
Cons: small room, a bit noisy from outside
Pros: I didn't have time to eat breakfast, even though it was actually served already before 05 AM when I left. Only 2 stars hotel, but I don't understand this rating, it's a very nice hotel. Also a very nice restaurant, just next to the hotel where I ate a very good dinner.
Cons: I have no bad comments on a hotel with 2 stars and with this nice quality.
Pros: Filipa was a wonderful receptionist, the owner himself found the missing bathtub stopper, and it was wonderful to see Gabriela again.
Cons: The missing bathtub stopper.
Pros: The staff are polite, kind and helpful with both grown ups and children. They have a simple yet delicious breakfast buffet.
Cons: There is no lift, so I had a hard time to climb up the stairs with heavy baggage and kids. Too bad for the receptionist being also the person who serves meals.
Located in Leça do Balio, this family-run hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. It has a restaurant and free parking is available on site. The spacious rooms are decorated in warm colours. Each comes with a cable TV and a private bathroom. The A4 motorway is just 5 minutes' drive from Complexo Hoteleiro em Santana, and offers easy access to Porto Airport, a 20-minutes drive away.
Pros: Excellent hotel near airport
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant, cooked amazing food really quickly. Room spacious, comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom. Handy for the airport for an early flight.
Cons: The hotel is a bit dated in terms of decor, but we weren’t really bothered as it was good value for money and we were just sleeping a night before flying. Would stay there again if we were in Porto.
Pros: Liked everything
Cons: Liked everything
