Cons: Every thing was excellent and including private parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived on bikes in the rain. Marilyn greeted us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel at home. We did not realise but it was a bank holiday (10th June) and all shops and restaurants were closed. Marilyn had thought of this and offered a large salad for tea. We went down for dinner and the salad was the largest I’ve ever seen with a huge variety of seafood and fruit and vegetables. It was amazing and washed down with a bottle of red and homemade cider. Chateau Bily is lovely. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast continued where dinner left off. We were cycling around Brittany. This was our 8th night and it was by far the best for comfort, friendliness and hospitality. We arrived in the rain and left in the rain, but in between was fabulous.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful, very tidy and clean, a lot of effort has gone into the decor of the house. The bathroom was beautiful and clean very tastefully done with everything that you could possibly need. The room was well equipped and there were homemade sweets on offer which were lovely. The bedding was lovely very clean, the pillows were heaven and so was the comfort of the bed, great nights sleep. breakfast was great all homemade and delicious, also plenty of it. In all this place should be a 10/10 brilliant.
Cons: Nothing it was a lovely place couldn't fault it.

The bedroom was spacious with a large comfortable bed and the breakfast was magnificent, fresh bread, brioche, meat and cheeses, crepes, yoghurt, homemade jams and freshly squeezed orange juice, all perfect. The host was friendly and welcoming despite our lack of French and her lack of English, we were provided with garage space for our motorcycle. We couldn't have asked for any more.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful late 18th century stone building airy and cool. Great location in the old quarter by the impressive church and next to the Priory (now a very good Spanish restaurant with authentic paella - worth a visit) Lovely garden for sitting out in the evening. We had a 1st floor spacious garden room with a lovely big bathroom. Very quiet, airy and peaceful. Sadly, the Gaugin painting on our bedroom wall wasn't an original! The period dining room is lovely and breakfast was superb with fresh croissant and homemade yoghurt and crepes. Bread with many jams and local apple juice. If you are staying overnight Friday into Saturday then the street market takes up nearby parking but less than 3 mins through the park to plentiful parking. Great location in this historic town.
Cons: The bed was quite firm but we were only staying one night on our way down to the Loire Valley. Had we stayed longer we would have asked our helpful patron for a foam topper on the mattress.

Pros: Didier and Marie-Pierre made us most welcome with a drink and home made gateaux on arrival. As the weather was nice we had this in the garden. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, home made fruit tart and conserves. Freshly squeezed orange juice and of course coffee. Easy walking distance to Ploermel centre with a good choice of restaurants.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly host and he was helpful. Bedroom good size and clean bedsheets. Clean towels and good hot shower.
Cons: This B&B did not meet expectations and the biggest downfall was the poor breakfast. Additionally, the cleaniless did not meet our standards expected for B&B accomodation. Thets of the property were in the bedroom as we arrived and we could smell cats around. It was quite uncomfortable with the cat litter not being cleaned. We were disappointed with the breakfast, which was inadequate. It's difficult to provide this poor review as we would like to share with you a positive experience although we are unable to do so. The reviews for this property, which were pretty high, did not reflect this property in our opinion. All other b&b's that we have visited in the area that were similar price were much better with lovely homemade and fresh food for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful, giving lots of local information. Breakfast was excellent, room comfortable and clean.

4.5 Okay
Cons: Facility was closed when we arrived. Restaurant was closed. The facility had a bad odour. We checked out after only one night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We really like the way the owner responded when we found out that his restaurant was unexpectedly closed for the time being. We were tired, hungry and in need of a meal which we had booked in advance but due to circumstance they were unable to feed us but made sure that we were taken into town and cared for. We think this hotel has great potential and we wish Yves and his team the very best of luck with their plans. It's extremely quiet and surrounded by lovely grounds. Around 15 minutes by car from Josselin. Wonderful breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom towels were a little thin but this is a detail. This independently owned hotel is so much better than many other independent old style French hotels.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful setting Lovely waitress Delicious dinner sitting outside
Cons: I felt the management had got a bit complacent. Guests to this kind of property expect big soft towels and glass glasses and just a bit more luxury.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and when we had problems with our car and onward travel arrangements they did everything they could to help us. We are genuinely grateful and so impressed by the team that run this gorgeous hotel. Lovely, large clean room. Also the pool and gardens and beautiful surroundings made our stay here extra special. The restaurant was superb, really fantastic chef who came out to meet us, preparing high quality dishes with local produce. Fantastic stay and fantastic service. We will be back!!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was very peaceful and Benjamin was a kind and attentive host.
Cons: Everything was good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Proprietor, Benjamin, is a lovely human being; he is kind & warmly welcoming. He exudes calm. Meeting him was a highlight. He was helpful in suggesting sights to explore & patient and helpful with our French. He is passionate about the Brocéliande forest. Regarding breakfast, which is served in his dining area on pretty china, his coffee was delicious as were his homemade jams, crepes and bread. Cheese, granola, fresh fruit and yogurt rounded out the offerings. A toaster was on the table for guest use. The room was tastefully decorated, spacious & very comfortable and clean. Plenty of hot water. Loved the towel warmer & large shower (it is in the room; toilet is in separate room). Liked the private entrance and space for parking. Enjoyed relaxing in the yard with delucious hard cider, complements of our host. All in all, this was a relaxing, very pleasant stay.
Cons: The room could benefit from a bedside lamp on both sides of the bed instead of on just one side. Otherwise the overall lighting in the room is excellent. We did not understand that a “hotie” is neither an inn or hotel but, rather, a kind of ”gite.” It wasn’t exactly what we expected, but we were not disappointed! A toilet paper holder in the lavatory would be a nice addition.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Non-intrusive but personalised attendance by Benjamin, the owner/manager. His enthusiasm and his pride in his establishment was quite heart-warming.
Cons: The description Hotie was unfamiliar to me (and also to UK friends who I asked later). I expected a traditional country hotel. But the Hotie de Brociliende's identity as a bijou rural guest-house fulfilled our holiday hopes absolutely. Far from being disappointed, we were delighted. I
6.8 Good
Pros: The large salon with kitchen access. Would have been even nicer if it was warmer.
Cons: The room layout and facilities. No table or desk for putting things on. No useful bedside tables. Clothes hanging only in the toilet. Cold in the breakfast room. Location not actually in Paimpont.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and cozy little place to relax. Conveniently located with easy access to great places to visit. Proprietor was very welcoming and I would certainly go back. Although we had a bit of a misunderstanding on whether or not breakfasts were included in the price, (just make sure it is... ) owner was accommodating.
Cons: Clarify whether or not ... if you go to a bed and breakfast... that it does include breakfast! Thought terminology was clear enough... but obviously in France they do things differently!!!!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: What didn't we like! Amazing room, jacuzzi tub, super-clean, great breakfast. Our little daughter loved the pool and the trampoline. There was table tennis, pools with goldfish, archery practice for kids. A shame we arrived late and had booked just one day. Extremely polite and accommodating hosts!
Cons: Squeaky floors. I mean reeeealy squeaky floors. We didn't mind at all, it is an old cottage after all. The mattress could be a bit softer, but again it's a matter of preference.

Pros: An amazing place to stay. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The gardens were magnificent and we loved the croaking frogs in the pond. Home made bread and eggs from their own hens for breakfast was just perfect. Jan recommended a place for dinner which was wonderful even in a thunderstorm.

Pros: Very friendly owners/hosts, nice breakfast and external swimming pool that could be used. We visited this accommodation in transit (on our way to our vacation in Brittany). Great value for money.
Cons: Location is quite rural and there are not much things to do in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation; this could be a disadvantage for very demanding guests that are staying for a longer period of time.

Pros: This charming hotel and restaurant is in a very small but pretty village. The hosts were very pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. We rearranged our travels so that we wouldn’t miss dinner at the restaurant (they don’t open for dinner on Wednesdays) and we are very happy that we were able to enjoy their delicious food! Breakfast was good, with pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruits and more.
Cons: All was good.
