The friendly reception and being able to l;ock our cycles away safely. we enjoyed the evening meal the fruit salad at breakfast was disappointing We were cold, the thermostat was set low. we had cycled 55 miles and were tired so got cold very quickly in the room. needed extra pillows as always sleep on 2
The staff was excellent, very helpful. The hotel is a bit old, but reasonably well kept. Small rooms by American standards. The food in the restaurant was mediocre.
Pretty setting and facilities were good value for money. Bar not open on Sundays and Mondays.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. I felt very welcomed. I was only there one night but would definitely go back.
Right across river from chateau with openable large windows; restaurant food quality very good and reasonably priced especially given it was in mid March. Parking very well signposted with very large sign. Bed comfortable and room very quiet since it faced out on to river. Owners very friendly and tried hard to please.
Room with a view of the Chateau was wonderful. Excellent cuisine and choice at evening dinner. Staff in general were rather serious in their approach to clients. Although a very well run hotel - a more friendly approach would be welcomed, especially by the proprietor.
Stunning location (view from the bedroom window straight out at castle over river); friendly and helpful staff; dinner excellent. We stayed on a cold November night but were warmed by both the welcome and the room. Josselin is a treasure. I was visiting the area in preparation for organising a visit to the Morbihon next year and picked this hotel just as a base, but am now tempted to use it for our future tour.
Location is wonderful, staff helpfull and friendly, a perfect place to visit. My second visit and I look forward to more. No
Friendliness of staff, walks around Josselin and good food - very comfortable beds! Room a little small and no view even although we booked some time ago.
Best place to visit the Castel and sweet pictural small french city. Recommended - uniqe view is promissed
We were house hunting
We were a group of 7 cyclist and the hotel was by the green cycle way from St Malo and we were going to La Baulle It was just in the right place and there were rooms for 3-5 people We enjoyed the evening meal.
Good dinner. Welcoming staff. A bit of a drag to go from Lancelot to Roi Arthur for booking in or out, for meals and all facilities.
The rooms are very new, squeeky clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff are very a friendly family - nice little isolated town. No restaurant! It meant a 20 k drive for supper after arriving at 1930 h . The area is quite remote - but that is one of it's charms!
The staff were very friendly amd helpful. Lovely village atmosphere with excellent restaurant close by recommended by the hotel staff. The room and hotel were beautifully decorated. We were surprised by the amount of traffic through the night for a village setting
Quality of the room and the restaurant. Staff very helpful. Great service!
Our room was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating.
Beautiful location, comfortable and lovely room, very quiet, great restaurant, friendly staff
This hotel is in a wonderful location for , close to an old Abbey and beautiful lakes and forest. Great walking followed by great food and a very comfortable room. Very welcoming.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location, comfortable and lovely rooms, good breakfast.
Nice ambiance, good coffee and self service buffet style breakfast. Good location & suited our needs perfectly
Friendly staff, funny references to legends of Brittany, cleanliness Hotel is located at one of the mains streets which make the environment noisy
Hotel staff was helpful and accommodating. Hotel restaurant was decent. Beds were too saggy causing backache. Bathroom had no fan and smelled moldy during and after shower.
