Pros: Stayed for four nights in May, driving to the coasts of Bretagne (and Heulgoat – don’t miss that !). Very special warm B&B in very nice surroundings. Cons: Had to leave.

Pros: Exceptionally homely gite in a lovely location, quite central to places to visit and things to do. Well equipped and very spacious gite where we enjoyed the garden, sitting and eating outside, and long leisurely walks along the canal/riverside, and a bike ride. We spent a wonderful time with warm hospitality from our hosts, thank you Jilly and Bryan.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts, Bryan and Jill were absolutely wonderful - Bryan offered to drive me to a nearby restaurant on my first night as it was quite late and I didn't have a means of getting there myself, which I thought was extremely kind. They were very friendly and hospitable throughout and the breakfast was exquisite! I couldn't have wished for anything more from the room - it was cosy and very comfortable, with an excellent shower. It even had English TV which was a nice home comfort to have! The garden was lovely, and the canal the house sits by was very nice to walk along in the evenings. In terms of peace and quiet, this place offers it in spades.
Cons: The only thing I can possibly fault is that the internet didn't seem to be working on my final night, but this is only a very minor gripe! It's sometimes nice not to have your head buried in your phone after all!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My father and I stayed in Kathy and Didier’s beautiful home recently whilst cycling around France. Everything was wonderful. We booked upon arriving in town and they were ready for us 10 minutes later, with safe storage for the bikes, a tour of the gorgeous property and then info on the easy 15-20min walk into town. The rooms were very nice, and one had a view over the gorgeous bird-filled garden, with free tea/coffee and snacks, a television, and comfy beds etc. Great shower/bathroom facilities. It really felt like staying at a lovely friend’s house. We enjoyed the great breakfast and a nice chat with Kathy and Didier before setting off the next morning. They gave us a shortcut out of the area, which involved carrying the bikes up some steps, and Didier even drove to meet us there and helped carry up the bikes. Incredibly kind! Honestly, I was only sorry not to stay for longer! Would love to come back some day :)
Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: The owners were extra friendly and accommodating, happy to translate and explain any French that we didn't understand. Secure bike storage for our touring bikes, within a secure compound. The food, was absolutely amazing, the best we have tasted in France! They normally stop serving food to the public around 7-8pm but were happy to serve us at around 8.30/9pm The room was super clean, with a large shower cubicle in the en suite. There was a nice and cosy communal living space to relax in outside of the room too. Speedy WiFi. You should stop here if you're in Gourin on the voie verte! Tip - ask the chef about his pet birds, they're so cute, we got to hold some one day old peacock chicks.

Pros: The owners are very accessible and affable during our stay. We were next to another room, but we didn't hear anything. Breakfast was good, with a lot of choices and comfortable.
Cons: Our room had a hot tub literally next to the bed. Only the WC was in a separate, the rest was built-in with the master bed. Which was a little bit uncomfortable in terms of privacy, also because, after a shower, all the room was full of steam. It is her passion and we felt very honoured to be part of it for such a short time. Cons: The room was not what I was expecting in a château...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality was excellent. The organisation of our stay was efficient from arrival to departure, despite not being a conventional hotel, more a luxuary Bed and Breskfast, there was always someone available when required. The room were clean and furniture of a high standard, the bed perfect.
Cons: Leaving. The flys were a problem but I am begining to understand that they are a part of continental life and caused no long term stress.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location exceeded expectations, a hidden gem. The host went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. It was much appreciated.
Cons: I wish I had another day to explore.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property is sure to please people who love architectural restoration projects! The owner, Madame Lattmann, has spent twenty years turning a crumbling 19th century château into a charming and comfortable residence with some lovely neo-Gothic touches. There is a swimming pool, billiards, a huge veranda overlooking expansive lawns with ancient trees and a magnificent breakfast room in the former kitchens. The room was large, comfortable, with baggage rack and antique wardrobe. There was a full tray of teas and coffee and complimentary bottled water. Madame Lattmann was most cordial and helpful and we enjoyed hearing about her experience restoring this property which she has decorated with care for comfort - especially the veranda with large, comfortable sofas, heat lamps, books, and brochures. Since we did not want to go out again for dinner, she offered us her "bocaux" solution - hermetically sealed jars fill with gourmet fare that she heats up in her oven. They were tasty. The breakfast offered various breads, jams, ham, cheese, yogurt, fruits, juice, teas and coffee of excellent quality.
Cons: Anyone who is wobbly on stairs might not like climbing an old wooden staircase with a banister that is way too low for today's tall people (but one of the prettier original items from the original decor). The bathroom is very small and includes the toilet. There is little space to put toiletries.

The room and hotel overall is super clean, comfortable and cozy. It has a restaurant that serves excellent breakfast and lunch (the chef is super talented and she is so nice!) and delicious homemade desserts all day with a full bar serving great selections for liquor, beer, wine, coffee and tea (the green Provence tea was awesome). The girls who serve here are incredibly happy and friendly. It was genuinely nice to see them every day. The owners are very professional and give you complete privacy while also checking to be sure you always have what you need. I slept with the windows open to listen to the sound of the river and birds and ducks. The center of town with tons of delicious food options is super close (definitely go to Maison Georges Larnicol for chocolate, their dark chocolate selection is so good and the owner is super kind). There is also an awesome hiking/walking/running trail 5 mins away (past Mimosas, also excellent) that will lead you down to Kerdruc and all the way to the ocean at Port Manech if you want a good workout. It’s a beautiful trail in the woods along the river. I could write a lot more. It was a perfect place to stay. Pont-Aven is a beautiful and special little village. The river, the people, the food, the art and music - it is the perfect place to find peace, comfort, creativity and inspiration.

Pros: The young couple that were running the B&B were delightful. Our French was not the best and we were able to communicate very well as their English was excellent. The breakfast every morning was more that just the standard coffee and toast including yogurt, fruit and a pastry. I would recommend this property and we will be returning again in 2 years time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm. English speaking hosts. Couldn’t do enough for us. We are bikers so they offered us a loan of their car to save putting our bike gear on to go out for a meal, we didn’t accept but the offer was made. Big barn provided for parking.
Cons: Signage to the property could be improved. Better map directions would also help

7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, just a 10 minute walk into Pont-Aven. The owner was lovely couldn’t do enough for us, she interacted with all the guests and made us feel at home.
Cons: The only down side to the property was the rooms where very noisy we could hear every foot step from the family in the room above. I hope this was just a case of the family being noisy and others don’t experience the same issue.

Cons: The towels had a strange smell and the loo roll wasn’t great quality!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal; it allowed me a relaxed start to the day, a short journey to Roscoff and plenty of time to catch the afternoon sailing back to the UK.
Cons: I am guessing that parking near to the house, may be more of a challenge in high season.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff - speaking English fluently was incredibly useful. There was an incredible amount of facilities available to us in the house (free tea and coffee, a games room etc). The room was also incredibly large and comfortable, especially when travelling with motorbike gear. By far the best breakfast of the week's holiday- the croissants were amazing!
Cons: The only thing we can think of, could be that there was no ability to shower standing up. The bath was lovely and large and the water pressure was incredible- but not having a standing shower or glass door, meant that water went everywhere in the bathroom, which is not ideal, and not everyone wants a shower.

Pros: A lovely, welcoming, super-nice host. A great old house, 2 minutes walk from beautiful Pont Aven. Large, comfortable room and bed. We had to leave early so she prepared for us a light breakfast before- thank you!
Cons: Nothing. It’s a perfect place.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This place has been a really great choice for staying in Pont-Aven and we will definitely stay here again if we come back to the town. Our host was very kind and helpful; she offered us a different room because our original room was just under the roof and it could be hot in the summer. She also let us leave our bags in the B&B long before the check-in time. From the house it is very close to the river and to the center of the town, but it is also just a few steps from the starting point of the walk to the chapel on the hill and to the old mill in the valley. We really appreciated all the small details of this well-decorated house and the excellent breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: welcoming host and a good breakfast provided
