Location is fantastic on the Nurburgring track start line. Some smell in the rooms and we missed tea/coffee maker in the rooms
Sight from the balcony. I thick it'll be better to provide WLAN-Internet as free-of-charge, I can say that it's a standart in the such-level hotels in Deutschland. It's better when I don't care about buying some cards and then thinking about how to use it entirely.
Great motor themed hotel and fantastic location to explore the nurburgring. Friendly staff, lovely comfortable rooms, lovely welcome plate of goodies which was very appreciated.
Excellent food and good value. It was very hot in the communal areas.
Loved been next to the Nurburgring race track It was very quiet there, not many guests
The buffet breakfast is fantastic only bettered by the rack of lamb in the evening.
Superb location for car fans. Spotlessy clean.just needs a smoking ban in the bar. Only bad thing See above
The best thing about this hotel is its location, on two race tracks, the hotel forms part of the grandstand, so excellent views. It is like a motoring museum, also clean and comfortable, great food, helpful friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. The 'Pitstop' bar is fab. The pool is nice too. Great base for a driving holiday.
An excellent hotel with excellent facilities. Recommended. Nothing.
Location and hotel style. A little pricey for what is starting to become a little dated.
This is a brand new holiday park, and, although still being finished, the accommodation was excellent and of a high quality. We have been to this area on many occasions and just wanted the house as a base, so the fact that the park wasn't finished didn't matter to us. It looks as though it will be very plush when completely finished. There weren't any!
Quality and location None
The facilities within the house were very good. I would like to see what the other amenities are like when they are finally constructed None
Good quality rooms, helpful staff
Clean. well designed. excellent facilities. friendly and efficient staff. great location None!
Convenient, friendly, spotless
the complex was brand new and a very high standard. the location was perfect for where we were going and the staff were very helpful
Great place to live when visiting Nürburgring. Clean, spacious and luxurious accommodation build recently.
The accomodation is excellent, location is beautiful , quiet, but also so convenient for the race track . Nothing to dislike.
Excellent room, Excellent breakfast buffet (included in the rate), Very polite and helpful staff and great view from my room overlooking the Eifel country side. Only thing I could think of was the unstable Wireless connection, but maybe that's because the hotel is still brand new and they were getting ready for the Formula 1 event at Nurburgring.
Quality of food, location Size of Bath Towels very small
Very clean, looks new to me. Nicely located for those coming to the Nurbruing race track. The hotel restaurant glass was dirty and I have to send them back for clean ones
Breakfast - Excellent although service a little slow, however that can be down to the hotel being very new. A double room features 2 single beds (mattresses) pushed together
New one There is no bath tub
There is no kettle to boild water in the room. This means to ask a cup of coffe for room sevice and spent a lot of money. 19 euro for one pot of coffe!
The Hotel is separate from the other hotels which makes it a lot more quite during the night. Luxurious room with a good quality bed (Junior Suite). Dinner and breakfast are good. Staff is excellent and professional. No view on the race track, at least not as standard.
In line with my previous visit to the Lindner Hotel, the service was great, as well as the hotel room and the facilities. Two minor items: Unfortunatelly room 401 is under the stone floor of the 5th floor on which high heals are heard clearly. Also the argentinian steak was not as tender as experienced during my last visit so not a continuously high level of performance from the kitchen.
The hotel is a new hotel although i dont' think it's managed to get itself any identity, the decor is modern (business) hotel with a token race car in the reception. There is no atmosphere whatso ever and if you'r not goin on business don't stay here. I'd also say that the rooms are generous in proportion and well equipt. the beds are comfortable although the shower although looked the part had no pressure at all. i did not like that when i turned up i was told if i needed help with my bags the trolley was outside and i had to go and get it myself and take the bags to my room myself. (not good when you're paying upward of £250.00 per night. The hotel bar had only local motorsport press and the usual corporate types in there, no music and unfortunatly no atmosphere. The davidoff barr (cigar bar) was equilly bad. The rooms were clean but if you are not here racing and simply uising the hotel as a Base i'd reccomend going elsewhere.
Beautiful new hotel, which I would class as 5 star.we ate in the restaurant and would say it was one of the best meals I have had.
Very friendly, service orientated people.
Always clean and people always trying to help. Most of all Melanie which was always at the desk No hotel personal during the night
Modern hotel with excellent facilities and a great location in the centre of the Nurburgring complex. Rooms are very clean, spacious, modern and stylish. Breakfast is excellent. None.
The location was great for the Nurburgring Race Circuit which was the purpose of my trip. The Hotel Reception was only staffed for a very limited time each day, Breakfast was available at the sister Hotel which was 5 minutes walk over the main road. No bar or even Coffee was available. Room was not serviced on the second day.
location ideal for nurbergring
Friendly staff, great location, close to the Grand Prix Circuit, walking distance to casino, shopping etc Still very new so not all shops in hotel quite ready to open - however what there is was great. Some people may find the idea of themed rooms a bit cheesy - but if you are travelling with kids, they will love it
Very comfortable, Close to the motorsport, Surprisingly quiet, despite the joviality outside I was dissapointed with the quality of the breakfast, eg. cold bacon and cold beans. The service at breakfast was 'patchy', some staff were very helpfull while others were not.
The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help me out. It was still being built but thats why i got the rooms cheap and when finished the hotel and surrounding complex will be an excellent facility
It was handy to the racetrack. Meals were good and buffet breakfast which was included. It was Clean and uncluttered.
This is our second time in this hotel and of course we have chosen him for the second time because it's a great hotel, wonderful and friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms, continental breakfast, restaurant "Pistenklause" with delicious food and friendly staff and of course very close to the Nurburgring. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend.
Efficient staff, very clean and really close to the Nordschleife. Recommended for those who need a night close to the circuit at a reasonable price. No complaint.
The bathroom was completely new. No internet. Staff couldn't resolve the problem.
Hotel Tiergarten is centrally located to the world renowned driving course the "Nurburgring"...everthing about "The Ring" is within easy walking distance. The room was terrific with a view and "sounds" of the course from my window...very nice... As "terrific" as the room and facilities are, the hotel and restaurant staff are not so terrific...Madam Schmitz made me feel uncomfortable as an American from the first moment I was there. The night before checkout I told Ms. Schmitz I would not be staying my third night since I wanted to get back to Munich...Welll she charged me 50 Euros for the cnacelled night...not a very hospitible practice in my estimation. Also, even though I had a great meal at the restaurant Matre Di was surly and would not let me charge to the room...it is a hotel/restaurant after all.
Location. Bar and restaurant was closed on our 1st of two nights.
The breakfast, it was outstanding.
early breakfast on sunday morning was indead before 07.00 hr and that was great because we had to leave early to the circuit nearby
cosy&comfortable&reasonable. I could understand why several famous F1 teams stayed this hotel. Just 10min's walk to main gate of Nurburugring. Nothing special.
Nicely furnished room, really nice bathroom. Very friendly family run hotel with good food. An extra key for the main entrance would be useful.
The room was very clean and bathroom was superb! We stayed with a 2 year old and everyone was very accommodating to the baby! Definitely stay here again
Comfortable rooms, warm big blankets. Most staff spoke english. Bequeme Zimmer, warme große Decken. Der grösste Teil des Personals sprach Englisch. Smoking is allowed in the dining area. Spoking wird im Speiseraum erlaubt.
A comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel. Clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and offered a varied, tasty breakfast.
We love the view we saw the track right from our room. The continental breakfast was good as well. It was literally A 2 minute drive from the hotel to the museum. It's in the heart of all the action. How they try to charge us for the room that we paid for with our credit card again as we were checking out.
Cheap. Good location for access to the Nurburgring. Large car park. Nice breakfast. Decor very dated, although at this price not a problem.
Felt very cosy and made to feel welcome. Little dissapointed because there was no facility to use wireless internet and because we were travelling this was essential to book future hotel stays.
Cute little Pension, with a large room and modern bathroom. Fantastic breakfast. No soap or shampoo. No receipt. Seemed to have internet access, but no password. Nearest restaurant is a couple km away.
Very good breakfast. Close to Nurburgring. Quiet The owner let us know at 8 o'clock in the morning of the out day that we had to leave the rooms by 9 o'clock in order to clean them for the next. It was very inconvenient for us because our schedule was to leave the rooms by 11 and catch our plane back home. Another problem was that most of the time there was nobody in the hotel and had to leave paper notes to each other, even on the arrival we had to call them to come and check in. The owner brought the keys and left. As soon as we found out there was no soap we had to call them back again!! No credit cards accepted!!
I can't say enough for the owner and this Pension. This was the nicest stay we had. The owner was so friendly and helped us to find our way while we were lost in the very hard rain. They were very accomidating for our early monrning and had breakfast ready to go for us. We will definalty consider coming back.
Completely charming place to stay, perfectly located for Nurburgring less than 5 miles. High quality rustic accommodation, clean, comfortable and excellent value. Breakfast was an array of good quality food, continental rather than cooked but very delicious including freshly baked bread and boiled eggs that were probably laid that morning! Owners speak only a little English but we got by. Cannot recommend too highly. The satnav struggled to find it. Critical direction info is that it is situated on the B410 (Hauptstrasse 10 is the B410) and is 1km from Boos in the direction of Mayen-Koblenz ie heading away from Nurburgring. Boos is easy to find on the map and Lind is the next village along.
this was a fantastic little hotel, the staff where really nice and accommodating. the room was really nice we where really surprised at how good it was for the price
We enjoyed Pension Zur Scheune so very much. It was quaint, quiet, perfectly appointed, reasonably priced. NONE! Perfect!
Welcoming owners. Clean and tidy, large room. Good location with very attractive countryside Good breakfast with plenty of selection.
Wonderfull country style relaxing atmosphere with proper accommodation facilities. Rich breakfast buffet.
food was excellent
location, food and ease of parking.
A beautiful, peaceful location
location, and peaceful. Nice restaurant, great staff no
very nice hotel quiet the cost of the hotel for bed and breakfast is expensive
Yes: The lack of enlightning in the room: impossible to read in the room in the evening.
hard to find Rothenbach
Very accommodating and friendly staff, very clean.
Clean, quiet, beautiful surroundings, kind hotel staff, good food for breakfast. . TV didn't work. Water temperature in the shower is variable. Not possible to have lunch/dinner on site.
The hotel is set in the open countryside making it nice and quite, but is not to far from main villages (5 minutes to the next village with three resturants serving good food and 15 minutes to the nurburgring) The room was modern and comfortable with a nice view over fields. Breakfast had a nice range of choice. During our stay the hotel resturant was not open due to the owner not being very well, but other guests staying in the hotel did say that they had stayed in 2009 and the resturant was open and did have good food with large portions.
Quiet and peaceful location ideally suited for our trip to the Nurgburgring, friendly staff, good food. Will stay there again the next time we visit.
This is our 2nd stay at Haus Sonneck and still the best we have experienced in Europe!! Great value, beautifull rooms, nice breakfast, wake to the sounds of the countryside and far enough from the Nurburgring that you don't hear the cars when its time to sit back and relax in the courtyard. Not one thing.
The hotel is in countryside and has quite which is important when you want to relax. Also has horses in the area.
Comfortable, clean and quiet. Gorgeous countryside. Nurburgring only 5 minutes away. Superb resteraunts a 15 euro taxi ride away. Good for kids with small animals to see. Breakfast very good. Unable to get a beer at the hotel in the evenings or food. Had to get taxi to Nurburg. 15 euros.
Nice place to stay.
very nice place to stay , would happily re vist great area to be in for walking / mountain biking etc
Friendly staff. Nice room. Clean. Noisy on the square, in hall, next door neighbor, etc if you're a light sleeper.
Friendly and hlpful staff (family business), English spoken, and saw staff trying to help French visitors too. Excellent breakfast. Lovely little town. The Hotel is on the main square and is opposite a very good Eis Cafe (Icecream Palour/coffee shop) No obvious reception desk, not really a problem though.
Excellent hotel staff, very friendly.
It was a nice simple hotel. The name fitted the hotel perfectly. The staff was excellent and very friendly.
Accomodations were more than ok. Staff is very friendly, accurate and helpfull. Exellent location from which to explore the environment by motorbike. Very near to start of i.e. Eiffel motor routes.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent quality and value for money evening meal.
Small, family run
nice people, real good beds en nothing went wrong! -
Probably the best hotel service I have received in Europe! I was delayed in Frankfurt, so I did not arrive until 22:00. The staff were welcoming and cooked a hot meal for me, even though the kitchen was meant to be closed. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ready for me as soon as I arrived downstairs, a beautiful breakfast a great selection and choice of food and drink. Even though I speak little German, all staff and guests were very friendly. Wireless internet access was not compatible with my (old) laptop. I am guessing that they either use WPA encryption or 54Mbit/s speed. Both of which don't work with my machine. A minor inconvenience, but not too bad since I only stayed one night.
The owners were friendly and very helpful with places to walk and visit. Breakfast was very good, plenty unless you're very fussy. Evening meals were excellent. Even though the Eifelstube is in a tiny village with no other amenities there, we would definately stay there again as rooms are very clean and comfortable and you're made to feel so welcome.
Friendly staff. Peaceful location.
Location was Excellent,Restaurant was first class along with the local atmosphere which made me feel welcome.
extremely quiet place; very nice landscape; excellent meals bad air ventilation in the bathroom; it smelled a little bit mouldy
Small hotel, in small village with 250 inhabitants, about 10 minutes ride away from the Nurburgring, run by young couple who were very good hosts. What was a surprise was the quality of the food, cooked by the husband, best meal we had in the whole 2 weeks away and we had stayed in much more expensive hotels too. The rooms were very clean and of a good size. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and happy to impart local info that was of use to us. The area is not well known as a destination, but the Eiffel area of Germany is very picturesque basically a continuation of the Ardenne forest in Belgium, with lots of walking trails.
The friendliness of hotel owners & good advice of where to go etc.The food was excellent & room was good
A really friendly hotel in a lovely quiet area. The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner. We're were catered for in everything we asked and the hotel room was comfy and clean. Rodder is a nice quite village with the larger Adenau only a 10 minute drive away and the wonderful Nurburgring only a bit further still. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon.
Nice place, nice staff, very good breakfasts No internet connection in the room, quite far from everywhere (but it is also positive)
Very cozy large house. Great staff. Very quiet accommodation. Expect this to be a Bed n Breakfast, not a hotel. The rooms are small and the appointments are expected for a country home.
Everything was clean and fresh. The room was quiet and provided a restful sleep. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff made sure our every need was taken care of ! Very nice indeed !
Stayed here before for trips to the Nurburgring - excellent hotel, cheap but ery cheerful. Would use all the time.
The staff and the location
