The lodge had everything we needed. The rooms had air con. The swimming pool was nice. The atmosphere was relaxed. The food was simple but good. The staff were friendly. Very Good value for money in this area of Botswana.
Nothing good. Not helpful and friendly staff. Tours to salt pans not possible or very expensive...
Shower is not good, very simple room, need to be renovated . Old fashioned
The meals were delicious and very generous portions. The staff were extremely polite and very helpful
We appreciated the effort taken to serve our vegan traveling companion appropriate meals. The bar and kitchen staff were particularly friendly and kind.
There were a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms, possibly due to the time of year (late November). The mosquito nets over the beds helped somewhat, although a few got through finger-sized holes in the nets. Also, wifi availability was not consistent.
The Lodge was realistically priced, compared to other Lodges in the area. Very convenient for viewing the sights in the area. The meals were not included in the accommodation cost, However, both the evening meals and breakfasts were well prepared and good value. We were offered to move to air conditioned accommodation, but were quite happy with just fans.
Local knowledge of the entrance costs in to the National Park would have avoided a long unnecessary trip if we had known that only local currency was accepted.
