Pros: The room we were offered on arrival was old-fashioned, in need of decorating & the mattresses were old & sagging. We asked to change (we both have back problems) & were given a large, comfortable, well decorated room with memory foam mattress, spa bath, garden view....very satisfied!
Cons: The first room we were offered. Our stay would not have seemed such good value for money if we had not been upgraded.
Cons: restaurant prices were outrageous but we had no choice as we had to eat. a simple menu for travellers would be good.
