Pros: Perfect locatiin. Amazing stay. Staff was very attentive. They went out of their way to assist my mother and even drove to a local market to purchase soy milk for my breakfast. I'm in the travel industry and highly recommend this hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Ulrike the reception/front desk went way beyond her duties helping us with parking, luggage etc. Loved the location! Welcome/check-in was first-class!Thank you again
Cons: The interior junior suite on the 1st floor was way too dark, and felt cloustrofobic despite the large room size.
7.5 Good
Cons: Could have done with air conditioning
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was good and staff was nice. Breakfast was good.
Cons: It was so hot. We had no air conditioning and it was super hot. We also thought we had two twin beds and ended up with one double bed. We had to keep the windows open and it was very loud outside. We didn’t sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to everywhere, the staff especially on reception were lovely
Cons: It was a little confusing to find. The hotel is called a few different names, no air conditioning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and location
Cons: Parking was challenging and far away. Should know that in advance. Also disappointed there was no air conditioning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Service and food
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Good design, comfortable
Cons: Poor quality of breakfast, lack of space
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Quirky room with rooftop terrace. Very comfortable. Great bed. Loved everything
Cons: Bit of a walk with luggage from car park but unavoidable if you want to stay in the old town. Worth the walk.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: we loved the location, ideal for walking to all the "must see" spots, and close to good restaurants and cafes. the breakfast was good, dinner even better! the welcome was warm and friendly, with good advise.
Cons: the lack of English TV entertainment channels (i was hoping for SKY SPORTS to catch the golf), lots of channels, mostly German. We had the same issue at Berlin and Munich so maybe a regional thing, though the Park Hyatt in Hamburg had SKY.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and service are excellent.
Hotel Grunauerhof - Wals-Siezenheim - Outdoors view
4
9.2 Excellent (2,279 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Hotel Grünauerhof is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great place but little far from town if you dont have car
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in peaceful, quiet location of Wals. The hotel was close enough to Salzburg but not far from anything my family or I needed. It is a beautiful, majestic facility. I highly recommend this hotel!
Cons: The spa hours of operations were listed from 6 a.m to 9 a.m., closed for cleaning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and then re-opened from 11 a.m. to 9 :30 p.m. I had no issues with the spa hours of operation, however, the saunas were not available for use when the spa was scheduled to open, for 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. It took at least 60 to 90 minutes before the saunas were available for use. On two separate occasions I work up early to enjoy a nice relaxing sauna only to find the cleaning lady working on the saunas and I could not use them. Those were frustrating days because on those two days I made plans to spend the entire day in the city of Salzburg and I was looking forward to enjoying an early morning sauna. If the saunas need to be cleaned before being in operation, then cleaning needs to happen at 5 a.m., not at 6 a.m. when it is scheduled to be available for use. That goes for opening the sauna at 9 a.m. The saunas were not available for that time too. Either close the sauna at 8 a.m. to do cleaning to ensure a 9 a.m. opening or change the time of availability to 10 a.m. Cleaning must occur well prior to ensure availability of the saunas, especially since it is part of the hotel package. That was my one and only complaint because I was looking forward to the sauna use, more so than using the swimming pool at the hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hotels I've visited! With vintage like interior but it is super modern and very well equipped. Pool was amazing, everything was super clean and comfy, beautiful garden and flowers. So rich breakfast, I liked everything :) Would go back definitely :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean and the staff cery helpful.
Cons: The restaurany downstair close late at night, so people conversation keep you up because there is not air condition we had to keep the windows open and therefor we hear all the noise they make.

Cons: Airco in room is missing

This hotel has 323 square feet (30 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: One night stay only, and too hot to use the sauna so our experience may not represent the full range offered by this hotel. The bits we did experience were pleasant, and I particularly want to mention the breakfast: it was a spectacular spread with focus on local produce, we could have stayed and munched for hours!
Cons: Double bed was on the small side and the AC noisy, so sleeping there on a hot summer night was a challenge.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast Family friendly attitude Superbly managed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and travel advice.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel 7-10 minutes walk away from the centre with amazing facilities. The spa area on the second floor with a rooftop garden and sauna with a view (a feature that I remembered from when I visited more than a decade ago and wanted to revisit ever since - we now finally did it for our honeymoon :)) and the garden are fantastic with their own beehive and gorgeous trees and plants. It feels like an oasis in the city. The breakfast is excellent. Staff helpful and polite. Bicycle hiring is easy with good quality bikes & helmets. I love the style of the hotel.
Cons: My only observation would be that the hotel is perhaps becoming a little bit ‘too big’, I didn’t feel that personal care as much as I thought I would. The staff is very polite and no real issues, it’s just that little bit of extra that's so important in hospitality that is missing for a perfect score.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was the best selection we've had in our entire month long trip through Europe. Green juices, veges included!
Cons: We loved the inn!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Refugium to relax and enjoy the moment. Particularly in the garden area and in the spa. The staff was superb and gave us great tips how to travel on
Cons: It is quite expensive and the room we got was in the corner, meaning not very bright and suffering from some noise created by either heating or other facility from the outside
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property has beehives in the garden, and we really liked the fresh honeycomb served at breakfast. Cozy and stylish hotel with beautiful furnishing and interior.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with a lot attention paid to the small details. You have everything you need in your room. Private parking. Greta breakfast!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the garden and the bee hives in the garden! Very comfortable bed with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Unfortunately the kettle in our room was causing the electric to trip all the time so we were upgraded to a suite for our last night which was really lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food, particularly at breakfast was amazing. All locally sourced and mostly organic! We Will definitely return again soon.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: All good, cozy room, friendly staff
Cons: Some Stairs in and out of hotel, not convenient

Pros: New facilities are great. Restaurant is top quality Austrian food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had thought of everything and prices were reasonable.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Newly renovated, clean, has good spa facilities and comfortable beds.
Cons: I stayed at a suite room on June 28th, 2019. In the morning of June 29th, we requested 2 train tickets for the same day and a taxi to go to the train station. We were given tickets and our taxi arrived. When we got on the train and our tickets were checked, we were told our tickets are for the 30th! We ended up on the train with no tickets and in trouble with the OEBB! Their lack of attention caused us a lot of unnecessary stress! OEBB officer requested to speak with the hotel that booked our ticket and we weren’t able to get in contact with anyone. We tried calling the reception, but all of their phone numbers are answered by a German voice recording, advertising the hotel and the restaurant, with no options to connect to a human! Shameful, unacceptable service, especially for the high price tag!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, exceeded our expectations!!!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful hotel, room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, you can choose from variety of meals. I loved spa area with a pool and amazing view. I recommend.
Cons: Only way how to get some fresh air was to use a fan, nothing else. And it was really hot at night.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Small yet clean rooms. Good location
Cons: Breakfast is only provided as a buffet. If you want a cup of coffee or anything else a-la-carte this is only available after 10 AM
10.0 Excellent

Cons: There was nothing i would change
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, great parking garage, close to everything, the restaurants were fantastic, the beds were comfy, and the staff was very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely convenient location to main train station and many of the popular tourist sites, very clean with great soundproofing (couldn’t hear my neighbors or anyone out in the hallways), extremely clean and great air conditioning. Also, front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating with great advice on what to see, where to eat and any other questions we had about Salzburg. The restaurants were also wonderful featuring local cuisine. Also, the view from the Sky Bar restaurant was awesome! This will be our go to hotel when we visit Salzburg again.
Cons: Nothing - we were sad when we had to check out.
6.3 Good
Pros: 1. Room was spacious. Staff were very helpful excet one or two. 2. Ice cubes fecility was great
Cons: 1. Parking was away from hotel a few streets away and unmaned, I was stuck in level -2 with no network reception and no help. 2. At least the staff dont get you the car from and back to the parking. 3. I saw spiders in our room - 3 of them. 4. I expected bath tub but none available, my kids were disraught. 5. High windows and full concrete all around, no point looking at windows.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The roof top restaurant and bar
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: excellent location, however much too expensive for the service provided.
Cons: the room was much too warm, we could not sleep well.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and room were pretty, very clean and comfortable; A/C was a welcome addition during the hot weather during our stay. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly.
Cons: In house breakfast was expensive (we just like to grab and go while on vacation) and we didn’t find many good local alternatives.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Tastefully designed room close to Mirabel palace, walking distance. The bathroom was nice (clean, new), liked the classic furniture (chairs), spotless, nice renovation
Cons: They charged me for an extra cot when we didn’t want one for our teenager, it was like, ‘you have to pay’ , I thought the two could share a bed, no compromise, and no parking! That was the worst part, the parking is a block or two away, not hard to find and clean, but an extra charge and inconvenient
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice but we paid good money for it. Very good breakfast. 10 minutes walking distance to city sight seeing. 15 minutes from train station. And car rentals.
Cons: Even though had a air conditioning, the room intended to get hot at some time.

Visitors to Anif will find that the Hotel Friesacher is a fantastic accommodation choice. There's plenty to do nearby, with Zoo Salzburg, and Kletterpark Waldbad Anif all just a both distance away. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, free parking, Spa, quite rooms
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful team, nothing too much trouble, very helpful. Particular mention the girl with dark hair on reception was lovely and very helpful. The dark haired lady who made omelettes at breakfast was so very nice and really started the day off wonderfully...along with fabulous omelettes ! Excellent breakfast, proper juice, coffee etc.
Cons: Only one thing...being asked if I would like to pay my bill in my home currency. This is a con as it always costs more and you should always pay in the Country’s currency that you are in. Please stop this,it may catch people out and it doesn’t become such a wonderful hotel as yours. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable, with a great restaurant. Bus to Salzburg right outside the door, only 15 minutes away.
Cons: No laundry facilities, no tea and coffee facilities in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent.. more than what I expected especially the underground parking which takes you directly to the room. Only 15 min from salzburg center
Cons: None
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Just as expected. Pool was a saviour in the terrific heat during our stay, but unfortunately no air con in rooms. Most staff pleasant and helpful - one girl on reception not so much. Was given one of the smallest double rooms on the 1st floor of the main building, which was actually quite large enough and well-fitted, big tv, bath in bathroom, big balcony overlooking Untersberg. Breakfast buffet very good with everything you could wish for including cooked-to-order eggs.. Underground garage a boon and easy to use. Spa area well appointed with free herbal teas. towels, showers, sauna etc. Pool temperature perfect.
Cons: For price, I think they could let you have the odd coffee free from the self-service machines in the bar. We were roundly told off for preparing to help ourselves... "Only for conference guests!". Not everyone wants to eat in the post restaurant every evening, but the Einkehr beer garden a disappointment as the food was not particularly traditional and was overpriced.. Menu very limited. Over 10 euros for four tiny cups of not very interesting and very similar dips with just a few slices of bread to put them on was poor. Went out to Sankt Leonard most nights to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Although a bit late, they provided me the breakfast. Excellent choice of different continental food. What impressed me was, they took the honey womb directly from bees and let it collect the honey in a dish so if you would like, you could also take the wax with the honey. It reminded me on my childhood:). All in all, one of the nicest hotels I’ve visited (high value for money) and I travel a lot.
Cons: No remarks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place. The hotel itself was wonderful felt more like 5* than 4*. Rooms, decor, comfort, attention to detail all 10/10. Location excellent. Just a short walk (5 mins) you are in the parks around Salzburg. We had booked as an overnight stop for journey back to UK but we plan to go back and we absolutely want to be staying at this hotel.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect just outside the city of Salzburg in the tranquillity of the mountains. The room was spacious enough with a small balcony overlooking the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Because of the warm wheater we were able to have breakfast and diner outside on the garden terrace.
Cons: Diner was very good but the choice of affordable dishes was limited
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location on a hill just a short ride from the city center. Beautiful traditional Austrian style hotel with high comfort and levels of quality in everything from service to food to rooms. Stayed in a large, newly decorated 2-bedroom suite with plenty of space for a family of five.
Cons: Food priced at premium levels, but not unreasonable given excellent quality. During very warm weather, the lack of airconditioning is a drawback, but the freshness of the location and availability of a nice outdoor pool are great pluses.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nature is perfect. Pool is OK.
Cons: People at the reception were so rude. They are kind only to Germans/natives or rich people. What about a simple engineer with a Turkish family? They should be well educated for kindness and should behave equal to everyone.
7.0 Good
Pros: A hotel in beuautiful surroundings, super close to Salzburg, with a great spa/sauna area. It feels overpriced for what you get though, both restaurant and hotel and the room didn’t meet our expectations (totally different then showed on the pictures)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Incredible location with a beautiful view of Salzburg. The restaurant was of a very high standard and the waiters were very attentive and friendly. The swimming pool was of good size and very clean. We recieved an upgrade for our room, and it was by far one of the nicest I have stayed in. It was very clean and spacious.
Cons: There didn't seem to be any a/c, so the room was very hot throughout the day and evening. No facilities to make tea and coffee in your room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place with great view
Cons: Little overrsted,?in choroszmas seanon no Christmas deci
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Overall room comfort. Quality of furniture Swimming pool Location
Cons: A bit too warm (no air conditioning)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was covered with snow and it was a magnificent experience. It has beautiful rooms, full of character, neat and clean. Spa was the final touch after a full day outsode in the snowy weather.
Cons: The location seemed to be quite far from Salzburg city, but you get used to it. But once you wake up in the morning, you realize that is very beautiful outside and the ladscape is amazing. The taxi is around €18, from city to hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's location overlooking Salzburg is exceptionally beautiful and is enhanced by the hotel's classic "Alpine style". The kitchen serves really good food prepared from fresh ingredients.
Cons: While we stayed there, the hotel had a bigger party, which forced the kitchen because many of the guests had chosen to eat in the restaurant the same evening. It did mean a little waiting time, but the kitchen did not compromise on the quality of the courts.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: view was very nice, the breakfast good to very good. the room was very nice. parking place, the area very beautiful.
Cons: a little bit to cold! A little bit far from the city, but isn't a problem if you have a car!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view of the mountains and the surrounding countryside. It’s a very pleasant area to stay with just a 20 minute bus ride into Salzburg. No parking hassles!
Cons: Dinner choices have decreased since our first stay. May be necessary to drive to restaurants to increase options, but there are several less than 10 minutes away. Or dine in Salzburg and catch a later bus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is fabulous.... clean and big and Gorgeous. The staff is amazing, kind and helpful. The Breakfast WAS TO DIE FOR. Stay in this darling town just outside the busy Salzburg... take the bus in or rent one of their bikes. 10 out of 10 recommend it.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good with a large selection of food. Accommodation top class - very large comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean and well serviced. Staff very friendly. Liked the family run hotel.
Cons: Liked everything about the hotel. Bus stop was a little far from the hotel if you pulled luggage bags. Taxi was more convenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was tucked away in a garden setting in Grodig. The hotel and grounds were immaculate and a provided a tranquil and peaceful stay. The owners were very hospitable and helpful with local interests, dining, etc. Rooms were very clean and updated and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were quite good and included some delicious home baked pastries and bread. It was so close and convenient to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. Highly recommend!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for us didn’t want to stay in center city. The hotel has perfect connection to untersberg and Berchtesgaden!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very easy to reach from the highway. Flawlessly clean and new interior. Breakfast had a good choice of items - perfect for a stay for a night or even for some sightseeing.
Cons: It was a bit hard to find. Coming from the highway the sign was difficult to read. !!!! Check-in closes at 7:30pm !!!! we arrived at 11:30pm. There are key lockers for late arrivals but the communication was not clear. I feel that the early check-in needs to be communicated at booking, not after the checkin closes. Pros: The staff were always happy to answer our questions: where could we get the best local gelato(which was GREAT) to where could we buy Birkenstock shoes at a good price, (which we did) they greeted us with smiles, always happy to get us ice. (We Americans love our ice)
Cons: No air conditioning and there was a heat wave 4 days in the 90’s (F). They did put fans in our rooms

Cons: The price was bit high. I think because it was Summer art festival,
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The high standards, in terms of quality, politeness and efficiency, have been kept and to the benefits of the guests. The on-going reconstruction works did not bother us, really. The grill section, securing good quality of foods and drinks, appear to be understaffed evidenced by guests waiting for service at the gate. The staff working at the reception desk were smiling and ready to help answering any requests, including the concierge and porters.

5.5 Okay
Pros: The hosts are very nice, But-everything else is not. The rooms are very dirty, the breakfast very dull, not much variety. we had two rooms connected, for us and for the kids. We had only one tea bag in the room. No refill on the next (six) days... We had booked for 3 nights and then aded 3 more nights, before we got there. On the 4th night, when we came late at night, the key to our rooms didn't work. We had to wait for the to fix it. The towels are wet all the time. They put wet towels in the bathroom every day. Something is wrong with the dryer I guess. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, on the day we arrived, the soap was finished in the shower. The next day when we came in the evening there was no refill, and then the kids soap was also finished. In the morning, I asked the owner to tell the cleaning lady to put soap in our rooms, but when we came back at night, there was no soap. Worst experience ever
Cons: We didn't like everything. We do not recommend this hotel to anybody

Pros: - Located 10 mins drive away from Salzburg city centre. Very well located with Petrol station and super markets nearby. - Staff upgraded us to Better suite room as it was our anniversary..room was very spacious and clean and with good facilities. Pros: Room although no air con was still cool in hot weather. Excellent choices for breakfast and good espresso. Great location.
Cons: Room, 10, was on the small side.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in old town. Friendly staff.
Cons: Room was tiny, hot, and low ceilings (even had to duck between main room and bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was outstanding- very friendly and helpful. The location was superb - right in the center of old town and steps from everything. Even then, the hotel and rooms were still quiet. The facility was very good - the building dates back to 1429, but they did an excellent job of retrofitting the rooms. We had two rooms and both were modern, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection and some daily variations We would stay here again in a heartbeat
Cons: Everything was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service; opulent breakfast; GREAT LOCATION -- only 10m from Mozartplatz, maybe 50m from the Dom and 150m from the Festung and 100m from all the major bus lines.
Cons: There was nada, nothing, nichts that we didn't like!
7.5 Good
Cons: No air-con, it was very hot in the room, could bot sleep.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly. Two beds is really a rare option to find in Salzburg, which was a great benefit. Comfortably located, right next to all the festival facilities, but a bit away from the madness of the touristic routs. Good for a weekend stay.
Cons: Bathtub needed extra cleaning. Air-conditioning would be a great plus, the fan did not do much to cool the room down in +34. A bottle of water would be really nice to have as a welcome gift. The coffee served at breakfast is disastrous.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Was just super convenient and easy location, very friendly staff, breakfast was great and well priced. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: Only thing that was slightly frustrating was that the double bed was just 2 singles pushed together. Apart from that it was all absolutely top notch.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, next to museum. Breakfast was terrific.
Cons: It was a very hot day, difficult to cool room.

And of course the breakfast was the best we had! Staying here was very pleasant and made our short holiday in Salzburg so memorable!.
7.3 Good
Pros: This was my second stay in the hotel and everything was just fine. The location is a bit off from the town centre but, with a car, the free parking eased me a lot of headache to finding a decent parking lot near the centre. Staff were all kind, helpful and jolly.

Pros: The room was very comfortable, with a balcony you could walk out to. The bathroom and the amenities provided were excellent. It took around 15 minutes to walk to the centre (but that was known when I reserved) but I found the stroll very pleasant as it was through a green park and a promenade along the river.
Cons: There were no elevator and restaurant service except for breakfast.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in an excellent location, easy walking distance of the old town and all the local attractions. It is very clean, received a warm welcome. Rooms are fine, no views as such but we did not spend much time in the hotel. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment. There are a number of restaurants right by the hotel. All in all, would definitely recommend.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic - close to lots restaurants and a short walk across the bridge to the main shopping strip and historical attractions. Our room (the suite) was wonderfully spacious especially because we are traveling with our 16mo son so there was lots of room to move around. It was quiet even though the streets were still buzzing late into the evening. The buffet breakfast was also nice and the staff super friendly and happy to see us and interact with our little boy. Thank you for the wonderful and pleasant stay!!
Cons: Just based on personal preference, the bed was a little too hard for our liking however we still managed to get a decent nights rest in. Unfortunately our fridge also broke down which meant half of our food for our little boy went off I.e. milk, yoghurt, cheese and some fruits, this was quickly fixed by staff when bought to their attention which was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff very personable. The location was PERFECT!! A number of good restaurants and shops right around the corner. We also enjoyed the small hike just behind the hotel with the gorgeous night time views of Salzburg. This was a great hotel for people who want a nice, clean hotel without spending a fortune!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good. Family suite is quite big.
Cons: The sewer in the shower room is not very smooth. No parking place, and hard to drive to drop baggages to the hotel. need to park 500 meters away and take baggages to the hotel.

Cons: Arrived by car and had to drive through a pedestrian area at a busy time
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything. Quiet room. Good sized room. Clean.
Cons: Breakfast not included in the price. Good but not great...and expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very centrally located.walking distance to every attraction plus Salzburg hofbanhof. The staff are so warm and helpful
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, just across the river from the old city (and thus comparatively quiet), and an easy 15 minutes' walk from the railway station; unexpectedly modern, attractive interior; clean, quiet, comfortable bedroom; proper double duvet (not the two singles so often found in hotels in this part of Europe); friendly staff; good WiFi; effective air conditioning
Cons: Bedroom a little on the small side; no electrical sockets by the bed (though there are plenty elsewhere in the room); difficult to shower without soaking the bathroom floor; only one large plate per guest provided for the (generally good) breakfast buffet - personally I prefer to keep my sausages and eggs separate from my cakes and pastries!; orange squash rather than orange juice, which is really not acceptable when breakfast costs €16
