Pros: The host was very friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. The Internet was quick, the room was big and very pretty, everything was perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable. If the weather had been nice, there would have been a nice terrace / garden. There was no noise in the room. The breakfast was rather basic, but good.
Cons: There was enough space to park in front of the hotel, but with big cars it is a bit difficult.
Pros: Delightful hostess. Great bathroom. Lovely decor.
Pros: Just around the corner over the bridge into Zetting you find this rather amazing property. Old farming building from way back transformed inside into a stylish and modern house with very high class accommodation. We had a very large bedroom with massive bed and equally enormous bathroom with semi separate toilet. Huge shower. Lovely garden out the back in which to relax. Adequate breakfast with fresh cake as well as usual offerings other than croissants. Host obliged by washing and drying our cycling gear, always appreciated for a cost of €5. To top this stay off, there is a new chef at the local (200m walk) restaurant and had probably the best main courses in France in six weeks and this being the last night in France, very well received. Highly recommend this combination.
Cons: Would have liked a desk in the bedroom and the internet was slow. Something to consider if you need to catch up with work.
Pros: The property was beautifully finished with excellent facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the location was very quiet. We were 4 motorcyclist and they immediately suggested putting our bikes in the enormous garage which we really appreciated.
Cons: Noelle and Victor were perfect hosts. They were very friendly and helpful. They made an excellent recommendation for a stop on the next part of our journey.
Pros: Good quality food with the continental breakfast.......decent Restaurant nearby for the evenings.
Pros: It was the perfect stop for us, and the hostess was really kind to book a table for us at a local restaurant after our late arrival. We would stay again without a second thought.
Cons: Everthing was perfect
Pros: Not the cheapest but very nice and comfortable clean room !!

Pros: Absolutely lovely breakfast with home made yoghurt and jams. They took their car out of the garage to put my motorbike into it. Thoroughly recommended.
Pros: Breakfast was great, our room was extremely comfortable, and the owner was very accommodating with our late arrival and early departure times. We really appreciated the access to bikes to explore the nearby town and countryside, and enjoyed spending an afternoon relaxing by the pool! Overall a great, relaxing stay that was nearby family we were visiting in Woustviller. Looking forward to coming back the next time we visit family!
Cons: The room we were in could really have used a ledge around the shower so that water didn't spread across the floor when showering.
Pros: A confy & feel-at-home atmosphere, with very welcoming owners
Pros: Breakfast was great.
Cons: Wooden stairs are were a little dangerous for small children, as they were easy to slip on. Could do with some instructions for using the hot tub as only 1 jet was working.
The hotel is situated in Sarreguemines, 5 minutes to the Faience Museum and 15 minutes from the German border. Auberge Saint Walfrid features 11 fully-equipped rooms and a restaurant. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Saturdays for lunch and all day on Sundays and reservation is needed.
Pros: Great rooms, outstanding food and a great wine list
Pros: Restaurant has a first class restaurant (Michelin star). Competent friendly reception, attractive room, comfortable bed, good continental breakfast, excellent dinner. Expensive but worth the price.
Pros: Lovely building and room.
Cons: We arrived on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed and so was everything else. We had to use the back door to go in and out. There was nowhere to get a drink. It was exceptionally hot weather and no air con. Just one small fan which did not cool the room. Breakfast was 15E. Not good value.
Pros: Everything about the hotel was excellent, from the staff, to the room, to the restaurant. As a one Michelin star restaurant you can expect it to be very expensive, and it was so. For one meal, it might be worth it. Everything else about the property was first class.
Cons: restaurant was too expensive
Pros: We had a very nice dinner at the one star restaurant, room was clean and comfortable, although the hotel is not that big it had an elevator which we also appreciated very much.
Cons: Hard to say anything negative
Pros: Astonishing value for money as a hotel. The room was huge, with a very substantial bathroom. Bathwater came out of a ceramic lion head! Really comfortable bed, lots of toiletries supplied, and a view over charming grounds. The restaurant is not cheap, but we had the "pick two dishes from the more expensive five-course menu" option, which came with all sorts of extras - amuse-bouche, intermediate delicacy ("cappuchino of lobster" - tiny but delicious) and "mignardises" with the coffee, all for €42, and all impeccably served. The service, indeed, was a piece of theatre in its own right; nothing was too much trouble and the emphasis was on quiet, efficient elegance, but with flair.
Cons: It was the best small hotel I have stayed in.
Pros: Everything very good. Especially the staff and the restaurant of course.
Pros: Our favourite place to stay in northern France, because of its comfort and the excellent restaurant
Pros: The hotel's own restaurant was closed for its annual holiday, so we dined at the Brasserie owned by the hotel in the town centre. This served very good food at very economical prices.
A stay at Amadeus Hôtel places you in the heart of Sarreguemines, steps from Sarreguemines Museum and a 2-minute drive from Parc Industriel Sud. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Well located.
Located in Hambach, Sweet and Smart Hotel - formerly Premiere Classe Hambach is a 1-minute drive from Europole de Sarreguemines and 7 minutes from Zone Industrielle Nord. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly and comfortable beds too....it was great
Pros: Everything is correct. Personnel is nice (very nice) and breakfast at good report quality for money. The room is large enough and bed is comfortable. Worm water at a glance. The location is very good for me (close to the work place).
Cons: The problem is not the hotel itself, but the place and a proper access to the city of Sarreguemines - Sunday it is no way to go by bus (just by taxi, which is very expensive by the way, since it is coming from an equivalent of 4-5 km).
Pros: Kinde staff, price value
Cons: Room immediatly at the access road (noisy when someone drives in)
Pros: The young woman at the check in was warm, friendly and went out of her way to help with our enquiries about a vet for our dog and even went as far as phoning the vet and making a reservation for us and explaining what we needed
Cons: The breakfast was a farce no normal tea all flavours no decaffeinated coffee very poor quality
Pros: The room was clean and the bed was alright. The receptionist was helpful and let us store our cycles in a storageroom The speak both french and german but not english that well
Cons: The ac was stuck at 29°
Pros: Clean and comfortable Quiet at night Staff are very helpful and friendly Local Pizza delivery to hotel room was great!! (Le sun pizza)
Cons: Bathrooms very very small and close to bed. Paying extra for breakfast.
Pros: perfect for traveling
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. They didn’t speak much English, but did the best they could.
Pros: See negative comments for context. We were put in an apartment elsewhere in the town. The apartment was good, well equipped and spacious and the bed comfortable. The apartment was located in a very quiet position.
Cons: Where to start. Firstly the Sweet and Smart seems to be some kind of temporary housing unit rather than a regular hotel. On arrival we were told they had no record of our booking, and that they were fully booked; then they found the booking and it had been recorded as a stay in an apartment in the owner’s house some distance away. Unfortunately the apartment was locked and no one would be available to open it for some time. We lost two hours from arrival to access and this after an eight hour drive was not at all a happy experience. Though the apartment was new and comfortable it wasn’t really finished and there was no extractor fan in the windowless toilet. Long and short of it: the hotel would have been a big disappointment and not up to the standard we’d expect from Booking.com, nor from the reviews. The apartment was fine but the two hour access delay was not. Would definitely not recommend booking this hotel. Staff said such problems often happened and they were always Booking.com’s fault …
A stay at Hôtel Union places you in the heart of Sarreguemines, within a 5-minute drive of Sarreguemines Museum and Saarland Therme. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything you need in room.
Cons: Bit tatty. Chased me for payment afterwards, when had already paid through booking.com .... having said that apologised when I pointed out.
Cons: Dirty carpet with stains and badly maintained shower
Pros: Older building but rooms ok. Helpful hostess. Good location close to zentrum.
Cons: Wi-fi a bit iffy.
Pros: Staff simply nice and attentive to your requests (the Lady was very open to change my room when I've told her I had a better one last time.
Cons: breakfast is too late at 7:00. It would be good to have-it at 6:30.
Pros: Not very much. The room was quite large, but very basic- eg, no kettle and drink-making facility, and no hairdryer. It was acceptably clean if rather shabby. The car park was close by and free, although not at all secure. The waitress at breakfast was helpful, although I had to find her to ask for a second cup of coffee.
Cons: We did not appreciate our "welcome" by the young man at the reception desk, who was off-hand to the point of rudeness. When I later asked for his help with logging on to the hotel's wi-fi, his response was insultingly patronising.
Pros: Security, breakfast, cleanliness,
Cons: wi-fi, light for the office, little space in between bura
Pros: Very cheap and convenient when you want stay at the center of the city.
Cons: Facility is quit old. No light in the bathroom.
Pros: for how old the place was it was kept clean and tidy. You could tell they tried very hard.
Cons: totally outdated place, old, terrible beds, flimsy blankets, weird check in process. This is not the hotels' fault but they were not there to help: I had water coming through the ceiling into my room and there was no one from staff who I could reach. Luckily the person in the room above mine stopped the water and it stopped from dripping. Really bad.
With a stay at Brit Hotel Sarreguemines in Sarreguemines, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Parc Industriel Sud and Sarreguemines Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: There was just closed door between my room and next one. Somebody has been smoking a lot there (even if prohibited) so all this smell has came to my room. The receptionists hasn't taken any action to solve this problem even if I've claimed several time. I had to keep the the window opened for whole night.
Pros: Bed was OK, shower like Niagara Falls and hot. Good after a day cycling in bad weather. Staff was nice and helpful. OK for one night.
Cons: The sad appearance of the place, the at best mediocre cleanliness and in particular the smell. I don't know how this smell has developed but it was actually the worst smelling place I have ever been. Sort of slowly overcooked cabbage, maybe?
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: It was very bad. The room was not very clean. No pillow cases on the yellow stained pillows. Terrible value for money.
Pros: Car park
Cons: Reception closed, had to ring a number for someone to unlock, restaurant closed on a Sunday (and other evenings according to other guests), no bar, breakfast was rather poor, had to wait ages to check out, hard to recommend
Cons: there were no working power sockets in the rooms cleaniness leaves a lot to be desired
Pros: The rooms are clean, bed okay, breakfast for the amount of €7,50 ok! Overall for the price its a good, clean accommodation for one, two days. If you expect luxury accommodation for this room rate you better think twice. pls note: not everybody in France speaks English
Pros: Hotel is basic but fair value for money.
Cons: Could be cleaner but okay.
Cons: Strange bad smell in the room.
